The numerical study was carried out to effectively cool Induction motor applied to a washing machine.<br/> The outer rotor made of steel periodically spins up and down. The stator consists of the thin layered iron<br/> plates and copper coil. The effective cooling system is necessary to solve the reliability problem caused by the<br/> electric losses at the coil and the iron plate. Because the heat transfer rate of the natural convection in partially<br/> open space is generally low, thus it is necessary to enhance the heat transfer using rotating perforated plate.<br/> The flow phenomena around the motor are very complex due to the motor geometry and the outer rotor<br/> motion. The mixed convection takes place due to the slow rotation speed. The three dimensional flow<br/> simulation was performed using rotating reference frame technique and Boussinesq approximation but the<br/> radiation effect was neglected. It was found that the angle and direction of the cooling blades play an<br/> important role in the stator temperature.

해석적인 서술방식으로 구성된 과학 읽기 자료가 고등학생의 과학철학적 관점에 미치는 영향

The main purpose of this study was to examine the effects of interpretive style reading materials on high school students philosophical viewpoints on science. Subjects for this study were 137 girl students in four classes of a high school located in Daejeon city. The classes were divided into two groups: experimental groups and control groups. Students in the experimental groups were administered a series of the reading materials over thirty-six sessions. Additionally, PPP(Philosophical Perspectives Prove) was used in order to assess students philosophical viewpoints on science. Results of the study showed that the interpretive style reading materials takes effect on the change of students philosophical viewpoints on science. At the initial stage, a number of students exhibited viewpoints inclined toward inductivism. As time goes by, however, viewpoint of inductivism was decreased and view of falcificationism and view of relativism were increased. The results also indicated that the effect of intervention was stable.

지구계 교육의 현장적용에 관한 연구

본 연구는 지구계 교육을 고찰하고, 내용을 분석한 후, 우리 나라에서 지구계 교육의 적용 가능성을 알아보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 먼저 지구계 교육을 고찰하여 교육적 의의를 알아보았다. 지구계 교육의 현장적용 가능성을 알아보기 위해 우리 나라 현행 중학교 교과서 2종과 지구계 교육의 활동 프로그램과 내용을 비교 ${\cdot}$ 분석하고, 지구계 교육의 목표, 내용 구성, 수업 전략 등에 관한 교사 설문을 실시하였다. 중학교 1학년 2학급 96명에게 지구계 교육의 활동프로그램을 투입한 후 면담을 실시하여 그 결과를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 지구계 교육은 지구적 소양의 향상에 기여하며, 지구계를 중심으로 과학 과목을 간학문적으로 통합하여, 학생들이 자연을 통합적으로 탐구할 수 있도록 돕는다. 2. 현행 우리 나라 교과서의 내용에서 지구계나 하위계와 같은 관점은 나타나지 않지만, 하위계 간의 상호 작용과 그로 인한 변화에 대해 설명하고 있다. 3. 교사 설문 결과 지구계 교육의 시스템적 접근(system approach)이나 내용 구성, 수업 전략 등에서 긍정적인 반응을 나타내고 있다. 4. 학생 면담결과 지구계를 구성하는 하위계와 각 하위계 간의 상호 작용에 대해 잘 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타나 지구계 교육의 적용이 가능할 것으로 판단된다. 따라서 지구계 교육은 지구와 과학에 대한 새로운 인식을 심어 주는 효과적인 수업으로서, 나아가 통합 과학교육 과정을 구성하기 위한 새로운 방안으로서 우리 나라에 적용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. The purpose of this study is to investigate Earth Systems Education, its matter and also its possibility of practical application in Korea. Some attempts are made to see the value of the Earth Systems Education. Adopting two kinds of Korean science textbooks of middle school and activity of Earth Systems Education were analyzed. The interview with teachers is implemented for the study on objective, the structure of matter and teaching strategy in Earth Systems Education. The program is given to 96 students(2 classes, the first grade at middle school). To analyze the effect of Earth Systems Education program, students were interviewed by their teacher. The conclusions of this study are as follows: 1. The Earth Systems Education is contributed to the way to enable students to have a cognitive perspective about the earth and to look for the nature. Earth Systems Education is to use interdisciplinary approaches for integration in science. 2. The result of analysis in the contents of Korean science textbooks, the viewpoints about Earth Systems Education were not found, but the accounts about the interactions among subsystems were found. 3. According to the results of interview with teachers, they approve of system approach, the structure of matter and teaching strategy of Earth Systems Education. 4. According to the results of interview with students, they understand the interactions among subsystems which are elements of Earth Systems. As a results, Earth Systems Education is a effective method for informed judgements about Earth and science and manner for work for integration in science curriculum. So Earth Systems Education be applied to science education in Korea.

차별 경험, 자아존중감 및 교사의 지지가 다문화 청소년의 학교폭력 피해극복 과정에 미치는 효과

2000년 초부터 시작된 결혼이민자의 증가는 2021년 현재 다문화 청소년의 증가로 이어지고 있다. 다문화 청소년의 학교 부적응 문제가 발생하고 학교폭력 피해 경험이 증가하고 있다. 본 연구는 다문화청소년에게 나타나는 사회적 차별이 학교폭력 피해에 미치는 영향을 파악하고 이를 바탕으로 자아존중감과 교사의 지지가 다문화 청소년의 학교폭력 피해극복 과정에서 나타나는 효과를 고찰하고자 한다. 이를 위해 여성가족부의 연구조사보고서, 한국청소년정책연구원, 한국형사정책연구원에서 보고한 연구조사보고서를 활용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 사회적 차별 경험한 다문화 청소년의 학교폭력피해극복 과정에 부정적인 영향을, 사회적 차별의 경험이 적은 경우는 긍정적인 영향을 받는 것으로나타났다. 둘째, 자아존중감이 높은 다문화 청소년일수록 학교폭력 피해극복 과정에서 긍정적인 영향을나타내고, 자아존중감이 낮을수록 학업 중단, 극단적 시도 등의 부정적인 결과를 나타내는 것으로나타났다. 셋째, 다문화 청소년은 사회적 지지가 높을수록 학교폭력 피해 경험에서 긍정적 영향을, 사회적 지지가 낮을수록 부정적인 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 교사와의 친밀한 관계를 유지하는 다문화 청소년의 경우 학교폭력 피해극복에 긍정적인 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 사회적 지지와차별은 다문화 청소년의 인종적･민족적 요인으로 발생하기 때문에, 특히 교사의 관심이 중요한 부분을차지하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 다문화 청소년의 자아존중감을 향상시키기 위한프로그램 개발과 친밀한 멘토 역할을 할 수 있는 교사 발굴의 필요성을 제안하였다. The increase in multicultural children in 2010 has led to an increase in multicultural adolescents as of 2021. Multicultural adolescents are experiencing maladjustment in school and there are increasing incidences of school violence. This study aims to look at how social support and self-respect affect multicultural adolescents overcoming school violence. To this end, the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family’s 2018 National Multicultural Family Survey, Multicultural Youth Profile Survey, and Policy Plan Study reported by the Korea Youth Policy Institute were analyzed. First, the greater the social support, the more positive the experience of school violence damage, and the lower the social support, the more negative the impact. In particular, multicultural adolescents who maintain close relationships with teachers are less affected by school violence. Second, the higher the self-respect of multicultural adolescents, the positive impact of school violence damage experience, and the lower the self-esteem, the negative impact, indicating the result of academic suspension and extreme attempts. Third, social discrimination has a negative effect on multicultural youth overcoming school violence. Social discrimination is caused by racial and ethnic factors of multicultural adolescents, so social support, especially teachers attention, is important. Based on these research results, it was proposed that the development of programs to improve self-esteem of multicultural youth and the discovery of teachers who can serve as close mentors were necessary.

얼굴표정 DB 및 사용자 인터페이스 개발

얼굴 및 얼굴표정 연구의 기초 자료를 제공하고 실제 표정을 디자인하는 작업의 지침으로 사용되도록 하기 위하여 대규모의 표정 DB를 구축하였다. 이 DB 내에는 여러 가지 방법으로 수집된 배우 24명의 자연스럽고 다양한 표정 영상자료 약 1,500장이 저장되어 있다. 수집된 표정자료 각각에 대하여 내적상태의 범주모형과 차원모형을 모두 고려하여 다수의 사람들이 반응한 내적상태 평정 정보를 포함하도록 하였으며 사진별로 평정의 일치율을 기록함으로써 자료 이용에 참고할 수 있도록 하였다. 표정인식 및 합성 시스템에 사용될 수 있도록 각 표정자료들을 한국인 표준형 상모형에 정합하였을 때 측정된 MPEG-4 FAP 기준 39개 꼭지점들(vertices)의 좌표값들 및 표정추출의 맥락정보를 저장하였다. 실제 DB를 사용할 사람들이 가진 한정된 정보로써 전체 DB의 영상자료들을 용이하게 검색할 수 있도록 사용자 인터페이스를 개발하였다.
