Behcet`s disease (BD) is a chronic inflammatory disease, involving several organs. It is well known that there are the marked regional differences in the disease expression of BD. In case of the vascular involvement in BD, the frequency rate has been described in 25∼30% among the patients from the Middle East, whereas it has been noted in 5∼15% in our country. In general, BD associated with large vessel lesions is named vasculo-BD. On the other hand, the cardiac involvement in BD has rarely been reported in the literature. Ebstein anomaly is a kind of malformation that is characterized by a downward displacement of the tricuspid valve into the right ventricle. We reported a 54-year-old male patient with vasculo-BD who had inferior vena cava obstruction and Ebstein anomaly. The association of Ebstein anomaly with vasculo-BD is considered to be coincidental. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first case of Ebstein anomaly associated with BD.

Thrombi within the aortic arch are rare, and are generally detected after cerebral, visceral, or peripheral embolization. Although the indications for treatment remain controversial, there is increasing interest in the etiopathogenesis of this rare clinical entity and the development of appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. We report a case in which a thrombus was detected in the proximal aortic arch on echocardiography and computed tomography angiography as the origin of upperextremity ischemia. This pedunculated thrombus was attached to the atherosclerotic aortic wall and was removed surgically. (Korean J Med 2012;82:476-480)

Our country has a higher level of energy dependence and therefore rely on imports from foreign countries and energy demand structure is vulnerable. Thus, there exist various energy policies related to the energy performance of buildings which will aim for the greenhouse gas reduction target in building sector. This study analyzes correlation between primary energy consumption per area and energy performance index in certified energy efficient non-residential buildings. 35 non-residential buildings were used and the analysis showed that there was low correlation between these two. Energy saving plan can introduce errors on evaluation of overall energy performance of the building due to incompleteness of application items. Therefore there is a need to change the evaluation approach which will evaluate the energy performance by its annual energy consumption.

Our country has a higher level of energy dependence and therefore rely on imports from foreign countries and energy demand structure is vulnerable. This study analyzes correlation between primary energy consumption per area and energy performance index in certified energy efficient residential buildings with statistical approach. 34 residential buildings with district heating and 17 residential building with individual heating system were used for and the analysis. As a result of simple linear regression analysis, the result show that the lower the primary energy consumption resulted in higher energy performance index in residential buildings with district heating and its trend curve derivation was 0.48%. In conclusion, there is low correlation between primary energy consumption and energy performance index.

Electrical resistance tomography(ERT)는 전류를 대지에 인가하여 이에 따른 전압을 대지 표면에서 측정한 후 이를 근거로 ERT의 영상복원 알고리즘에서 대지의 대지저항률 분포를 얻고 대지 내부의 물체를 크기와 위치, 그리고 저항률에 대한 특성을 파악할 수 있는 기술이다. 접지시스템 설계에 있어서 접지 매체 설치 지역의 전체적인 대지저항률과 그 분포 상태를 파악함으로써 전기설비 기준에 적합한 접지저항값을 얻을 수 있는 지점 선정이 가능하고 접지저항값 저감에 대한 고려를 할 수있다. 본 논문에서는 ERT 영상복원 기법으로 Gauss-Newton 방법을 이용하여 접지설계에 사용할 수 있는 2차원 대지모델 분석 결과를 보이도록 한다.

본 논문에서는 5.1 채널 입체 음향 오디오 신호를 2채널의 헤드폰으로 재생하기 위해 사용하는 HRTF(Head-related transfer funcion) DB를 다룬다. 다양한 HRTF DB의 사례를 분석하고, 이를 통해서 더 나은 HRTF DB를 설계 한다. 기존의 HRTF DB 에 Audio Meta data 를 이용하여 파일의 정보를 저장하고, 이를 DB에 저장함으로써 Meta data를 비교 검색하고 저장함으로써 편의성을 높인다. 또한 기존의 HRTF DB들이 오래 되고 현재의 시스템에 맞지 않기 때문에 이를 현재의 시스템에 맞게 Converting 하고 UI를 3D로 구현함으로써 UX를 높이고 직관성을 개선함으로써 사용자 접근성을 높인다. 이를 통해서 HRTF DB의 범용성을 개선하고 관련 연구에 효율적으로 사용할 수 있게 될 것이다.
