서울 및 경기도 지역 주민에서의 B형 간염 항원에 대한 조사보고 ( 제2보 )
김금룡 대한바이러스학회 1981 Journal of Bacteriology and Virology Vol.11 No.1
To investigate the annual distribution of hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) in the sera of healthy persons, this study was continued from previous study and performed by counter-immunoelectropho- resis with sera obtained from 4,220 healthy adults who resided in the Seoul and Gyunggi-Do areas during for one year from Januery to December, 1979. The method and areas were same with the previous study. The subjectives also consisted of two groups: one group consisting of 3,284 adults living a mass life, and the other group consisting of 936 adults living home life. The results were as follows: 1. Of the total of 4,220 cases tested 338 cases (8.0%) showed HBsAg positive. HBsAg positive rates in the group of a mass life and home life were 7.9% and 8.5%, respectively. 2. In the sera from subjects by the duration of a mass life, frequencies of detection of HBsAg was not statistically different. Wherease the positive rate was very low (3.5%) in the sera from subjects of high social life. 3. No statistical differences were found in the frequency of detection of HBsAg from sera, by seasonal distribution, while frepuencies of detection of HBsAg in the sera from 0 blood groups (9.6%) and the areas of Seoul (9.3%) and inland of Gyunggi-Do (11.3%) were found to be relatively higher than those of the oiher areas.

N/A The histocompatibility system and its association with chronic viral liver diseases remain unexpiained, but they represent an important step forward in the searh for basic causes and mechanisms of the diseases. patients of chronic hepatitis B carriers (n =158) including asymptomatic hepatitis B carrier (n=17), chronic hepatitis (n=39), liver cirrhosis (n=57), and hepatocellular carcinoma (n=45) were examind to ascertain the genetic relationship between chronic hepatic diseases and histocompatibility antigen. Peripheral blood lymphocytes were seperated from whole blood by the Ficoll/hypaque gradient method. A total 71 histocompatibility antigens (class I antigens: 56, class II anrigens: 15) were analyzed by performing complement microlymphocytotoxicity test using Terasaki`s and Catholic Unversity Medical College tissue typing plate. HLA antigen frequencies were compared with those of 109 normal HBsAg negative controls. The following results were obtained: 1) Frequencies of HLA-A26, Bw46, Bw57, Cw6, Cw7, DRw8, and HLA-DRw52 antigens in chronic hepatitis patients were shown to be higher than those in the controls. Frequencies of HLA-Bw46, Bw57, Cw7, DRw8, DRw52, and DQw3 antigens in liver cirrhosis patients shown relatively more frequently than those in the controls. In patients with hepatocellular carcinoma, antigens of HLA-Bw46, Bw57, Cw7, and DRw53 were dominantly detected. 2) There was positive association with HLA-Bw46, Bw57, Cw7, DRw8, DRw52 and DRw53 in patients of chronic liver diseases. Further stusies may lead to better classifications of the diseases and to an increased understanding of basic biological processes, etiologies, and relationships between genetic and environmental susceptibility to chronic liver diseases.
