        This study focuses on analyzing relationship between motive of high school P.E. and the students’ intrinsic motivation providing basic information in order to induce their voluntary participation through physical activity First, participatory motivations were different according to sex, grade year, and athletic club activities; Male students showed more participation than females, and the first-year students were the most-highly motivated ones, followed by third- and second-year students. Also, the students who were enrolled in athletic clubs had better participatory motivation than those who were not. Second, intrinsic motivations were also different according to sex, grade year and athletic club activities; male students were motivated more intrinsically than females, and the first-year students showed highest intrinsic motivation, followed by third- and second-year students. Also, the students who were enrolled I athletic clubs had higher intrinsic motivation than those who were not. Third, for the influence of the motivation of participation to intrinsic motivation, higher nothing-motivation (B=-.116, p<.05) seemed to result lower intrinsic motivation, and higher interests (B=.356, p<.001) appeared to bring higher intrinsic motivation.

        This study focuses on analyzing relationship between motive of high school P.E. and the students’ Satisfaction providing basic information in order to induce their voluntary participation through physical activity. First, participatory motivations were different according to sex, grade year, and athletic club activities; Male students showed more participation than females, and the first-year students were the most-highly motivated ones, followed by third- and second-year students. Also, the students who were enrolled in athletic clubs had better participatory motivation than those who were not. Second, in satisfaction criteria, male students were satisfied more than females. The level of satisfaction according to school year did not show significant differences, showing p>0.05. The students who were participating in athletic clubs appeared to have higher level of satisfaction than those who were not. Third and the last, the conclusion of the effect of the motivation of participation toward satisfaction is like below: it appeared that refreshing (B=.210, p<.01), one of the factors of the motivation of participation, and satisfaction have positive co-relationship. Interest (B=.215, p<.001), another factor of the participatory motivation, appeared to affect positively on satisfaction - which shows positive co-relation. Sociality (B=.208, p<.001) also affected positively on satisfaction, so that one can safely say the higher the sociality, the higher the satisfaction.

        기계학습의 회귀 분석 모델을 이용한 콘크리트의 압축 강도 예측

        Concrete is generally composed of various materials such as aggregate, sand, cement, freshwater, and mixed materials, and the strength increases with age. The ratio of each material required for concrete is determined through the mixing design, but the strength of concrete cannot be known until experimentally measured. To overcome this limitation, many studies have used statistical mathematics and machine learning algorithms to predict the compressive strength of concrete using data obtained through experiments. Previous studies have proposed neural networks for predicting the compressive strength of concrete, but they are computationally expensive and difficult to apply in practice. As various regression models have been recently developed, a concrete strength prediction model was presented using recently developed regression models instead of a neural network with low computational efficiency. First, an optimal model was selected by the cross-verification procedure for the regression analysis models. Hyper-parameters of each selected model were optimized through grid search, and machine learning models were trained. The models that showed excellent performance in predicting the concrete compressive strength were CatBoost Regression(CatBoost), LGBM Regression(LGBMR), Random Forest Regression(RFR), and XGBoost Regression (XGBoost) models. The XGBoost regression model had the lowest error and best accuracy. The LGBM model, which shows lower performance, is better than the neural networks and ensemble models proposed in previous studies. The compressive strength prediction for ready-mixed concrete was also good, confirming the field applicability of these models. 일반적으로 콘크리트는 골재, 모래, 시멘트, 담수, 혼합재 등 다양한 재료로 구성되어있으며 재령에 따라서 강도가 증가한다. 콘크리트에 필요한 각 재료의 비율은 혼합 설계를 통해 결정되지만, 콘크리트의 강도는 실험적으로 측정되기 전까지는알 수 없다. 이러한 한계를 극복하기 위해 실험을 통해 얻은 데이터를 이용하여 콘크리트의 압축 강도를 예측하기 위해 통계수학과 기계학습 알고리즘을 이용한 많은 연구가 시도되었다. 이전의 연구는 콘크리트 압축 강도 예측에 신경망 기법이 가장 적합하다고 제안하였다. 그러나 신경망 기법은 다른 기계학습과 비교하여 모델 학습에 계산 비용이 많이 들어 실제로 적용하기어려운 문제점이 있다. 최근 몇 년 동안 다양한 회귀 분석 모델이 개발되었으므로 본 연구에서는 신경망 대신 최신 회귀 분석모델을 이용하여 콘크리트 강도 예측모델을 제시하였다. 이를 위해 최근 개발된 회귀 분석 모델에 대한 교차검증을 시행하여최적의 모델을 선정하였다. 그리드 검색을 통하여 선정된 각 모델의 하이퍼 파라미터를 최적화하고, 국내외 데이터를 활용하여기계학습 모델을 훈련하고 검증하였다. 이들 중 CatBoost, LGBMR, RFR, XGBoost 회귀모델이 높은 성능을 보여주었다. 특히 그중에서 XGBoost 회귀 분석 모델이 가장 작은 오차와 높은 정확도를 보여주었다. 이들 중 오류가 가장 큰 LGBMR 모델도 이전연구에서 제안된 신경망 및 앙상블 모델보다 성능이 우수하였다. 현장 레미콘 콘크리트에 대한 압축 강도 예측을 시행하여 학습된 모델의 현장 적용 가능성을 확인하였다.

        Potent of strategic approaches for tauopathies ranging from single-cell transcriptome to microbiome

        Tauopathies as one of the typical neurodegenerative diseases are characterized by pathologicallyaggregated tau in neuron and glia, which causes dysfunction, synapse loss, and cognitiveimpairments. There are more than 26 cases that are classified according to major tau isoformaggregates production or abnormal tau generation processes. Although the various concepts fortargeting tau mechanisms have been investigated, the obvious limitations still remain andconsequently, hindering their applicability. Therefore, additional strategies are required in thetherapeutics and diagnosis. Here, we briefly summarized the etiological tau in thehyperphosphorylation, and the present concepts of tau-targeted disease therapies and diagnosis. We suggest the potential of approaches from deep learning-based single-cell transcriptome tomicrobiome and discuss the encountered challenges for the applicability and practicality.

        진균성 부비동염의 임상적 고찰

        Background and Objectives:Since its first recognition in 1885 by Schubert, the prevalence of human fungal sinusitis has increased. Recently, endoscopic sinus surgery has emerged as a sucessful surgical modality in the treatment of fungal sinusitis. sinus surgery (ESS) for treating fungal sinusitis. Subjects and Method:Of the 8750 cases who underwent ESS between 1995 and 2003, 157 cases that were pathologically confirmed to be fungal sinusitis were retrospectively analyzed by reviewing their medical records. Results:There were 52 males and 105 females patients: the age ranged from 14 to 88 years, with the mean age of 54 (44% ). The number of human fungal sinusitis treated with ESS were 41 from 1995 to 1998, and 116 since 1999. Recently, the number of cases has increased. The radiological findings in these cases included hazines, calcification and bone destruction of the involved sinuses. Preoperative CT revealed mottled calcific densities within involved sinuses in 37% of the cases. During operation, fungal ball and debris were observed in 52 cases and nasal polyps in 58 cases. All patients received ESS and showed no recurence during the mean follow-up period of 6.2 months. Conclusion:The review of 157 cases of fungal sinusitis revealed that the incidence was increased recently, symptoms were non-specific, CT and nasal endoscopy were excellent diagnostic tools, and that the ESS is a good modality for treatment.

      • 인후두부 이상감을 호소하는 환자와 갑상선 병변과의 임상적 연관성

        Background and Objectives : Globus pharyngeus is the feeling of a lump or foreign body in the throat. Otolaryngologists are often confronted with this condition, and some author reported that it represents 3 percent of all new clinic referral. The purpose of this study is to estimate the incidence of impalpable thyroid lesion in patients with globes pharyngeus and investigate possible association between globus pharyngeus and thyroid lesions. Material and Method : 146 patients with globus pharyngeus and 30 controls were prospectively examined by high resolution ultrasound. Results: Thyroid abnormalities were present in $75/146(51\%)$ patients with globus pharyngeus and in $7/30(23\%)$ controls. Of the patients with globus, 55 patients had a nodule or nodules, 11 patients had a cyst or cysts, 9 patients had diffuse abnormalities. Solitary nodule ranged from 4mm to 20mm. Conclusion : Impalpable, ultrasound detectable thyroid abnormailities are significantly more common in patients with globus pharyngeus than in controls. The thyroid abnormalities may be the cause of globus symptoms in some patients, and high resolution ultrasound is an important modality in patients presenting with globus.

        비용에서 Bcl-xL과 Bax의 발현

        Background and Objectives:The etiology and the pathophysiology of nasal polyps are still not definitely known and recently, it is suggested that inflammatory responses involving eosinophils may play a major role. The proces of the infiltration of eosinophils in tissues is explained by the increase of the movement of eosinophils to the inflammatory area and the delay of apoptosis which expressed their anti-apoptotic Bcl-xL genes and pro-apoptotic Bax genes when put in a delayed apoptotic condition. The purpose of this study is to investigate Bcl-xL and Bax expresions of eosinophils in nasal polyps and how allergic rhinitis afect their expressions. Materials and Method:Nasal polyps were obtained from patients with chronic paranasal sinusitis (30 cases) and nasal polyps were divided into two groups, one obtained from the patient with allergic rhinitis (15 cases) and the other obtained from the patient without allergic rhinitis (15 cases). The normal control group consisted of 5 cases of normal nasal mucosa in the inferior turbinate. The imunohistochemical stain was used to detect eosinophils and the cels expressing Bcl-xL and Bax. Results:In nasal polyps, a significant statistical corelation betwen eosinophil numbers and Bcl-xL positive cell numbers was detected. But there was no corelation betwen them in the normal control. The Bax positive cell numbers had a corelation to eosinophil numbers in both the normal control and nasal polyps. And allergic rhinitis did not affect the expression of Bcl-xLin nasal polyps. Conclusion:The authors propose that in eosinophils of nasal polyps, Bcl-xL plays an important role in delayed apoptosis and allergic rhinitis has no efect on the expresion of Bcl-xL and Bax.
