        김기림의 <과학적 비평론>연구

        Kim, Ki-Lim's ‘Scientific Criticism' defies philosophical criticism and impressionistic criticism. It analyzes literary facts according to the scientific basis. Kim, Ki-Lim's ‘Scientific Poetics' is a poetics which is composed of poetical facts. It has a theoretical system which is constructed by the help of linguistics, sociology and psychology. It means that Kim Ki-Lim's ‘Scientific Poetics' is a approach to poetry on the aspects of linguistic structure, personal experience and social relatedness. Kim, Ki-Lim accepted theory of I.A. Richards in his ‘Scientific Poetics' on the basis of his reality-oriented literary opinion. When we critically scrutinize Kim, Ki-Lim's ‘Scientific Criticism', we can not help finding his methodological incongruity resulted from his unsuccessful performance to accept factual analysis and value judgement simultaneously. We also find sharpened friction between value and fact. This friction seems to be caused by Kim, Ki-Lim's misjudgement about intimate relationship between literary facts and theoretical perspective. But in spite of such an apparent misconceptions which is included in his theory, Kim, Ki-Lim's ‘Scientific Criticism' has a considerable importance in history of modern Korean criticism. Because It was the first modern criticism which tries to use scientific methodology throughly in understanding literature.

      • 서울의 PPNG 발생 빈도(1991-1992)

        The prevalence of PPNG among pretreated gonorrhea cases isolated at the STD clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul has been studied and reported annually since 1981. In 1991, 123 strains of N.gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 58(47.1%) were PPNG. In 1992, 98 starains of N.gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 51(52.0%) were PPNG. In all, 109(49.3%) strains were found to be PPNG among 221 strains isolated between 1991-1992. The prevalence of PPNG in Seoul showed increased tendency till 1989, thereafter, it has been stationary or slightly decreasing.

      • 감천항에서의 파랑특성에 관한 연구

        Copeland's(1985) hyperbolic mild-slope equation including diffraction, refraction and reflection in the wave field is used as a governing equation in this study. Maruyama & Kajima's(1985) result is used to calculate wave direction and Watanabe & Maruyama's(1986) is used as a energy dissipation formula. Numerical solutions are obtained by Leap-Frog scheme and compared with Watanabe & Maruyama's(1984) hydraulic experimental results and numerical simulation results for the detached breakwater. This wave model is applied to a detached breakwater and compared with Watanabe and Maruyama's(1984) hydraulic model results to check the characteristics of reflected wave field around a detached breakwater. The distribution of wave height and wave phase in front of a detached breakwater is more accurate than the Watanabe and Maruyama's numerical results. The results from our wave model show good agreements with the others and also show nonlinear effects around the detached breakwater. This model is applied to the Gamcheon harbor of Pusan region. The field observations were carried out at Pusan harbor wave station on 1986-1995 and the results were accepted as a design wave condition in this study. The wave height and wave period was measured by Dong-A university at one station in the Gamcheon harbor on 1996-1997 and used as a calibration criterion. The measured data were used as input data for numerical simulation and also compared with simulated results. The numerical simulation shows a farely good results which considering the effect of topographic characteristics and effect of narrow entrance due to two separated breakwaters in Gamcheon harbor. The wave distribution characteristics in the inside Gamcheon habor is farely different with the offshore wave direction and wave period.

        This programme consisted of 8 menus, which are basic information, job worksheet, technique information, management analysis, file management, window management, help and conclusion. The major functions of this programme by menus classified as follows : 1. The basic information menu, which consisted of a lots of basic farm management information, can be easily accessible to get general farm status of S/W users and inputted data used as basic data for farm management analysis. 2. In worksheet menu, users can easily access to record and search of farm work planning, contents of work, agricultural materials and selling status. 3. In management achievement menu, lots of indexes which represent one years' management achievements are produced and can be compare this years' achievements with last years' ones. This programme Delphi5 and Object pascal programme were used for tools and languages. Also Paradox4 and BDE were used for DB and DB engine respectively.

        고지방식이가 백서 골격근 및 지방조직의 지방분해에 미치는 영향

        연구배경:지방산화의 증가가 골격근에서 인슐린 저항성을 유발한다는 주장이 꾸준히 제기되어 나왔으나, 최근 제2형 당뇨병 환자나 인슐린저항성 상태에서 골격근의 지방산화능이 저하되어 있다는 보고도 있어 논란이 있는 상태이다. 본 연구에서는 고지방식이를 투여하여 인슐린저항성을 유발한 백서에서 microdialysis 기법을 이용하여 조직내의 지방분해 결과로 간질액내로 방출되는 글리세롤 농도를 골격근 및 지방조직에서 직접 측정하여 지방분해의 변화를 알아보고자 하였다. 방법:정상 Sprague­Dawley 백서를 두 군으로 나누어 4주간 고지방식이 및 저지방식이를 투여하였다. 4주간 기저상태 및 고인슐린 정상혈당 클램프 중의 골격근 및 지방조직에 microdialysis probe를 삽입하고 일정한 농도의 글리세롤을 포함하는 dialysate를 통과시켜 주입액과 유출액의 글리세롤 농도 차이로부터 조직 간질의 글리세롤 농도를 산출하엿다. 결과:기저상태에서 골격근 및 지방조직 간질의 글리세롤 농도는 저지방식이군에 비하여 고지방식이군에서 유의하게 낮았다. 고인슐린 정상혈당 클램프 중에는 골격근 및 지방조직 간질의 글리세롤 농도가 양군에서 모두 억제되었는데, 기저 상태와 마찬가지로 골격근 및 지방조직 모두에서 저지방식이군보다 고지방식이 군에서 더 낮았다. 기저 상태에 대한 고인슐린 클램프중의 글리세롤 방출 억제 정도는 저지방식이군에 비하여 고지방식이군에서 덜 억제되는 경향을 보였는데, 골격근조직에서만 통계적으로 유의하였다. 결론:본 연구 결과는 고지방식이에 의한 인슐린저항성 모델에서 골격근 및 지방조직내 지방분해가 억제되어 있음을 보여주며, 기존의 포도당­지방산 cycle 이론과는 달리 조직내 지방산화의 증가보다는 지방산화능의 감소에 따른 세포내 지방축척이 인슐린저항성과 관련될 가능성을 시사하였다. Background : It has been hypothesized that increased fat oxidation reduces glucose utilization in skeletal muscle, and is responsible for the insulin resistance associated with obesity or high-fat feeding. In contrast, there have been reports that fat oxidation capacity was decreased in skeletal muscles from insulin resistant subjects. This study was undertaken to examine whether insulin resistance in high-fat fed rats is associated with increased lipolysis in skeletal muscle and adipose tissue. Methods : Two groups of Sprague-Dawley rats were fed either high-fat or low-fat diets for 4 weeks. Lipolysis in skeletal muscle and adipose tissue was determined by measurement of interstitial 1 glycerol concentrations by a microdialysis method in basal and hyperinsuline mic-euglycemic clamp conditions. Results : In basal state, plasma glycerol levels and interstitial glycerol concentrations of skeletal muscle, and adipose tissue were lower in high-fat fed than in low-fat fed rats. The degree of suppression of glycerol release by the hyperinsuline mia was smaller in the high-fat diet than in the low-fat diet group. However, plasma and interstitial glycerol concentrations during the hyperinsuline mic euglycemic clamps were also lower in the high-fat diet group. Conclusion : Lipolysis was decreased in skeletal muscle and adipose tissue of insulin resistant, high-fat fed rats. These results support the idea that limited fat oxidation capacity resulting in lipid accumulation in tissues, rather than increased fat oxidation perse, is responsible for the insulin resistance associated with high-fat feeding (J Kor Diabetes Asso 24:641~651, 2000).

        A study was conducted to develope a system for safety appraisal and repair works on agricultural structures. Location, size, type, maintenance record, structural and functional problems of agricultural structures in Yedang irrigation district were surveyed. A grahpic user interface program assisting onsite field investigation of typical agricultural structural problems such as fractures and cracks of members was developed. Typical rehabilitation methods were investigated and coded for database development.

      • 국내 도시 쓰레기의 열분해 특성에 관한 연구

        Pyrolysis system will plat a big role on the resource recovery of wastes without secondary pollution problems comparing usual incineration system. Pyrolysis experiments of municipal solid wastes was conducted and the results are as follows. 1) From tile compression test before the pyrolysis, moisture removal was observed from 70% compression and the variation of the removed moisture amount was detected until 80% compression. Over the 80% compression, there was no change. 2) Non-isothermal pyrolysis reaction constant was found out through the experiment. When the increasing rate of temperature varied from 20 to 40 K/min, the activation energy of cellulose and plastic were 100~160 KJ/mol and 192~239KJ/mo1, respectively. The order of reaction was on the range of 1.2~1.8. As the increasing rate of temperature increased, the activation energy was decreased.

        In this study, fracture aspects for dissimilar materials welded by right and left or up and down in symmetry are examined by using Finite Element Method(FEM) in case that holes exist at up and down in symmetry for the center of crack, and the results of this study are as follows ; 1. When the strength(E₁) of a material with a center crack is lower than that (E₂) of the dissimilar material which is welded by right and left in symmetry, the crack propagation rate decreases by about 25%, while it increases by about 20% when the E₁ is higher than E₂. 2. When the E₁ is lower than the E₂ which is welded by up and down in symmetry, the crack propagation rate decreases by about 25% while it increases by about 75% when the E₁ is higher than the E₂. 3. The value of K₁/K?? is constant up to 2.0 in which is the ratio (a/R) between crack length and hole radius, and the value is decreased or increased a little above 2.0. It is regarded that a phenomenon of crack closure is applied according to the welded type of dissimilar material. In addition, It is noticed that retardation effect of crack propagation is changed greatly according to the distributed position of dissimilar material.

        과학의 발달은 인간 생활의 물질적 풍요와 생활의 편리함등 매우 긍정적인 기여를 해왔다. 그럼에도 불구하고 과학기술의 발달과 산업화 과정에서 발생된 공해 문제, 무절제한 대량 소비로 인한 자원의 고갈 및 환경 오염으로 인하여 지구는 황폐해졌다. 또한 가치관의 혼란으로 인한 인간성의 상실을 초래하게 되었다. 환경의 파괴와 인간성의 상실은 인간의 생존을 위협하고 있다. 자연의 질서는 인간의 잘못된 생각과 행동으로 파괴되고 그 결과 또한 인간에게 되돌려지기 때문이다. 이러한 부정적인 측면을 최소화하거나 해결하기 위하여 자연의 법칙에 따르는 도덕성을 강조하는 의식 개혁에 초점을 맞추는 수업이 이루어져야 할 것이다. 과학이 자연 속에서 객관적인 법칙을 찾아 자연의 이치를 밝히는데서 생겨났듯이 도덕 또한 자연 속에서 모태되었기 때문이다. 그러므로 과학은 자연이 인간에게 가르쳐 주는 길을 찾아 실천하고 또한 서로 보충하고 보완해야 할 것이다. 이렇게 함으로써 과학을 통하여 자연의 본질과 질서를 알고 자연의 법칙에 따라 생활하면 과학의 발전으로 인하여 발생된 여러 가지 부정적인 것을 최소화하거나 개선할 수 있으리라 믿는다. 따라서 본 연구는 도덕성을 지향한 과학 교육의 정의적 접근을 위하여, 자연의 법칙을 올바로 이해하고 이치를 깨달음으로써 해결될 수 있도록 중2 과정을 중심으로 지도안을 제시하였다. Scientific progress has had a remarkable impact on the items we use in our daily lives. In our rush for increased convenience and improved life styles the earth is being systematically destroyed. As we move into the 21st century out air is polluted, our oceans and rivers are pull of waste and our natural resources are running out. Because of our thoughtless quest for increased convenience, our country is in a state of social decay. Our thoughtlessness towards the environment is manifesting itself in our personalities and we seem to care less and less about one another every year. In our effort to decrease social decay, those classes which focus on the evolution of thinking should begin to emphasize elements of responsibility and morality towards our environment and towards fellow human being. Just as science gives us objective rules for the observation and illumination of our natural environment, morality helps us to taper those illumination with responsibility. The science teacher should include aspects of morality as a supplemental complement to his or her classes. If we know the essence and order of nature and act within established rules, any negative effects of future scientific progress will be significantly reduced.
