        교사들의 공통과학 실험 · 실습 선호도 조사 분석

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the status of the experimental and practical education in high school general science. The present status and reasonable management of the experimental and practical education in high school general science were evaluated by the questionaires. To do this, 146 science teachers in Korea are administered questionaires. The frequency of the experimental and practical items in the seven kind of general science text books were investigated. The problems and the reasonable management for experimental and practical education were proposed in this paper.

        현행 중등학교 과학 실험 , 실습 교육 실태 조사 및 그 운영 진단 (Ⅱ) : 고등학교 과학 실험 , 실습 교육을 중심으로

        본 연구는 96년도에 실시한 우리 나라 중학교 과학 실험·실습 교육의 실태 조사 연구에 따른 계속 연구의 일환으로 고등학교 과학 실험·실습 교육의 실태를 조사하기 위한 것이다. 연구내용은 고등학교 과학 교과서의 분석, 실험·실습 실시 현황 분석, 현행 실험·실습 교육의 문제점 분석, 현행 학교 구성원들의 실험·실습 교육 운영 실태 조사 및 현행 실험·실습 교육의 개선을 위한 연구과제 도출을 주요 연구내용으로 다루었다. 연구방법은 전국의 고등학교 80개교를 대상으로 이들 학교의 학생 1,977명, 교사 165명, 학교장 80명에게 적용하였다. 본 연구에서 밝혀진 결과를 중심으로 우리 나라 고등학교 과학 실험 실습 교육의 정상화를 위한 실험 내적인 연구과제를 제시하면 다음과 같다. (1)교재 개발에 대한 연구, (2)실험 킷트 개발에 대한 연구, (3)교사교육 및 재교육 프로그램 개발에 대한 연구, (4)교실 밖 실험·실습 활동 프로그램 개발에 대한 연구, (5)과학 실험·실습 소재의 개발에 대한 연구. This study was accomplished to analysis and survey on the experimental and practical science education of high school in korea for the consecutive study of the an analysis and survey on the experimental and practical science education of middle school in korea(Lee, Yoon-Jong et al., 1997). The status of facilities, management for the experiment, practices, teaching methods in high schools have been investigated. The present status and reasonable management of the high school science education have been grasped from the questionaires. To do this 165 high school science teachers, 1977 students and 80 principals of high schools in Korea are administered questionaires of Science Education Research Institute of Kyungpook National University(1997). The results of this study are as follows : The reasonable management for experiments and practices of science education were scanty in the high school around the urban and rural school owing to the shortage of facilities and equipments, crowded class, excessive class works for teacher, excessive contents of present textbooks and insufficiency of the administrative supports etc. The current teaching method of high school science has emphasized knowledge. This fact does not satisfy the objective of learning due to lack of the teaching method. Desirable directions for the improvement of present status of high school science education were proposed in this paper.

      • 개에서 발생한 이혈종의 임상적 관리

        A 14-year-old male pomeranian was present with swollen left ear. The swelling occurred from base to apex of pinna. Otitis externa persisted for two years. Hematological and serum biochemistry values were not remarkable. The surgery treatment was the most appropriate method among indwelling drain, surgical, and steroid treatment in the aural hematoma because the dog was very sensitive to touching pinna and the size of aural hematoma. Longitudinal incision was applied after general anesthesia. Cefovecin was injected to prevent secondary infection. The outcome of surgery was good. There was no evidence of recurrence for one year.

        Jewellery & gems industry has been developed with the beginning of ancient human history as all the mankind have a fancy for precious metals and stones regardless of the times and nationality. Historically, Korean also had an excellent workmanship from the ancient era and shipped it, as a tribute, to the neighboring countries. However, our deposits of gold and silver had been almost dried up, especially owing to a lot of excavation during Japanese imperialist rule, And precious stones have not been discovered in Korea except a small quantity of crystal. Therefore, Korea cannot but depend on the processing industry of jewellery and germs by importing the unworked gold, diamond and other precious stones from overseas countries. By the way, recent overseas market of jewellery & germs is very extensive and the value added of the industry is much larger than other industries. So jewellery & gems processing industry is regarded as the most important field in the advanced countries. All the more, the industry is typical of labor-intensive one and is more suitable to the nations whose people are deft-handed. From those points, it is quite appropriate to Korea. Recognizing this facts, Korean government had set up a Jewellery & Gems Export Industry Park in Iri city ten years ago. The bonded industry park has much contributed to export promotion and regional economic development. But there are a lot of room for improvement if we would obtain the anticipated results. So we researchers have studied and analyzed the following points to find some ways for improving the Iri Jewellery & Gems Export Industry Park. ① the history of precious metals & gems industry in both overseas countries and Korea. ② international production status of unworked precious metals & stones, and structure of international trade. ③ business status of exporting companies in Iri Jewellery & Gems Export Industry park; general circumstances, exprot & import structure, employment policy, production & skill, purchasing materials (the unworked stones ) and marketing etc.

        산채류로부터 혈소판응집 억제물질의 검색

        To select potential inhibitors of platelet aggregation form large numbers of crude plant extracts, the modified thin smear method for the anti-platelet aggregating activity using platelet rich plasma was further modified by direct observation under a light microscope without staining the smear. The activities determined by the method were coincided with those by the electrical impedence method using whole blood, when ADP or collagen was employed as the aggregating agent. Among 130 varieties of edible and herbal plants which collected from markets or experimental farms of agricultural research institutes, those showed the anti-platelet aggregating activities were selected by testing the crude methanol extracts: Aster scaber, Aster tataricus, Ligularia stenocephala, Platycodon glaucum Allium victorials, Allium oderum, Morus bombycis, Portulaca oleracea, Acanthopanax sessiliflorus and Rosa davurica. However, some of them activated the platelet aggregation under the same assay conditions: Pimpinella brachycarpa, Hosta plantaginea. Capsella bursapastoris, Fagopym esculentum, Prunus mume, Rubus coreanus and Limaria japonica. In addition, those revealed the antioxidant activities were selected by measuring the abilities to scavenge superoxide anion radicals: Pteridum aquilinum, Aster scaber, Ligularia fischeri, Chrysanthemum zawadskii, Artemisia capipparis, Cirsium setidens, Commelina communis and Capsella bursapastoris among edible plants.

        The experimental study from the beam-column subassemblies is presented. Test parameters are flexual strength ratio, joint shear stress factor and transverse steel reinforcement ratio. The results from cyclic loading tests show very ductile characteristics. In the designing of ductile moment resisting frame, therefore, transverse reinforcing effect of column and joint should be included.

        기도저항 변화가 설골근 활동성에 미치는 영향

        There are some morphological changes in chronic mouth breathers, for example, a clock-wise rotation of mandible, extended posture of head, a lowered position of the tongue and the hyoid bone. When the intraluminal airway pressure becomes negative by the increase in airway resistance during inspiration, the airway can be collapsed. It was reported that hyoid position has a key role for maintaining airway patency. Anterior movement of hyoid bone can widen the airway and thus prevent airway obstruction. Many hyoid muscles attached to hyoid bone might control the position of hyoid. The present study was, therefore, designed to investigate the changes of activity of some hyoid muscles and the control mechanisms during increase in airway resistance. We obstructed the trachea or applied the sustained negative pressures to the isolated upper airway in 10 spotaneously breathing anesthetized dogs. The peak amplitudes of rectified and integrated eletromyogram(EMG)s from the geniohyoid, sternohyoid and sternothyroid were recorded. 1. As airway resistance increased, airway pressure were decreased and the peak amplitudes of integrated EMGs from those muscle were increased. Activities of all 3 muscles were increased during the first occluded breathing when the airway was occluded in the end of expiration. 2. The peak amplitudes of EMGs from those muscles were increased during applications of the negative pressure in the isolated upper air way. We could find these changes in the next breathing from pressure application. These results indicate that the negative pressure generated in upper airway augments the activities of hyoid muscles through the mechano-receptor activation and so does the deflation of lung. We speculate that geniohyoid and infrahyoid muscles cooperate for the anterior and inferior movement of hyoid bone.

        공황장애 환자에서 약물 치료와 심박동수 변이(Heart Rate Variability)의 관련성

        Objectives : This study was designed to evaluate relation between 6 weeks pharmacotherapy and the alteration of autonomic nervous system in patient with panic disorder. Methods : The subjects were patients (n=44) who met DSM-IV criteha for panic disorder with or without agoraphobia. They were measured Anxiety Disorder Inventory Schedule-Panic attack & agoraphobia (ADIS-P & A), Clinical Global Impression (CGI) Hamilton Rating Scale for depression (HAM-D), Panic Disorder Severity Scale (PDSS) and heart rate Vahability (HRV) before and after 6 weeks pharmacotherapy. We prescribed paroxetine primahly and benzodiazepine (clonazepam, alprazolam) in case needed. For analysis, we performed paired sample t-test, partial correlation, stepwise multiple regression. Results : After 6 weeks pharmacotherapy, a assessed clinical inventories significant improved. In HRV, patients showed stabilized sympathetic activity (LF, Normalized LF, 1og_LF), increased parasympathetic activity (Normalized HF). There were significant correlation between symptom improvement with parasympathetic components and symptom aggravation with sympathetic components. Multiple regression analysis showed that Normalized HF and TP were best explanatory variables of symptom improvement. Conclusion : This study suggests that 6 weeks pharmacotherapy is related to the alteration of autonomic nervous system and clinical improvement.

      • 효과적인 문헌 정보 관리를 위한 데이타언어와 질의처리기

        데이터관리시스템은 문헌 정보들에 대한 정보 검색 및 관리를 효율적으로 지원하기 위한 시스템이다. 이러한 데이터 관리시스템은 하나의 테이블만으로 정보들을 관리하기 때문에 기존 데이터베이스 관리시스템에서 사용되는 조인 연산과 뷰 연산 등 많은 비용이 소요되는 연산을 제공할 필요가 없다. 본 논문은 데이터관리시스템에서 자료의 주고 정의, 처리 등을표현할 수 있는 효과적인 데이터 언어를 정의하고, 정의된 데이터 언어로 작성된 질의를 효율적으로 처리하기 위한 질의 처리기를 설계하고 구현한다. 구현된 데이터관리시스템을 위한 질의처리기는 기존 관계형 데이터 베이스 관리시스템의 질의처리기를 데이터관리시스템의 질의처리기로 사용할 때 나타나는 성능저하 문제점을 해결한다. Data management System(DMS) is a system that retrieves and manages documents efficiently. Since DMS manages the information using only one table, it does not need to provide join and view operations on DBMS that spend high cost. In this paper we define a data language that represents the structure definition and process of data in the DMS. We also design and implement a query processor to process the query processors of relational DBMS are used as a query processor of DMS, they degrade the whole system performance. The proposed query processor overcomes such a problem.
