중·저층 RC 구조물의 내진성능 평가

본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 중저층 철근 콘크리트 구조물의 내진성능을 평가하기 위함이다. 우리나라에서는 아직 중저층 구조물의 내진성능을 평가할 수 있는 절차가 확립되어 있지 않다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 차세대 내진설계법으로 분류되고 있는 미국의FEMA 273과 ATC 40의 내진성능 평가방법을 연구하고 이를 통하여 국내 중저층 철근 콘크리트 구조물의 내진성능을 평가하고자한다. 구조물의 내진성능 평가에서 구조물의 비탄성 내력은 비탄성 정적해석 프로그램으로 잘 알려진 DRAIN-2DX를 이용하였으며 구조물의 내진성능은 층간변위와 각 부재에서의 소성회전 능력을 검토되었다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the procedure for the seismic performance evaluation and apply it to low-rise reinforced concrete building in KOREA. In this study, the procedure proposed by ATC 40 and FEMA 273 was used to evaluate the aseismic capacity of low-rise RC buildings because there is nearly no systematic method in our country. The analysis was carried out using well-known inelastic analysis program, DRAIN-2DX and its result was converted to capacity spectrum and compared with demand spectrum. As a result, the performance point was obtained and at that point, the global and local component member was checked to evaluate the seismic capacity of low-rise reinforced concrete buildings.

철골구조물의 비탄성 거동 분석

강진하에서 구조물의 거동을 평가하기 위해서는 적절한 비탄성 해석이 수행되어야 한다. 특히 초고층 건물의 경우에는 이러한 해석적 검토가 반드시 수행되어야 한다. 그러나 비탄성 해석은 구조물에 소성힌지가 생성될 때 마다 구조물의 강성 매트릭스를 다시 계산해야 하기 때문에 탄성해석에 비하여 많은 시간과 노력이 필요하다. 이러한 문제점을 극복하기 위하여 구조물에 국부좌굴이나 횡좌굴이 발생하기 않고 안정적일 경우 완전 탄소성 모델이나 이선형 이력모델이 부재의 거동을 모델링하기 위하여 사용되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 결과는 실제 비탄성 실험으로 그 타당성이 검증되어야 한다. 본 논문은 철골 모멘트 저항골조의 비탄성 거동 특성을 분석하고자 1층 2경간 철골구조물과 2층 2경간 철골 구조물에 대하여 비탄성 실험을 수행하였고 비탄성해석의 결과와 비교되었다. 검토결과 완전 탄소성 모델보다는 2% 정도의 변형도 경화 강성을 고려한 이선형 모델이 실제 구조물의 비탄성 거동을 잘 반영하였다. 또한 비탄성해석이 실험체의 극한강도와 소성힌지 이력과 거의 일치하여 실험체의 붕괴이력을 잘 나타내고 있음을 알 수 있었다. To evaluate the inelastic performance of structure under strong earthquake, nonlinear analysis should be performed. These inelastic analyses, However, requires much more times and efforts than the elastic analysis with recalculation of stiffness matrix at each hinge formation. To overcome this problem, simple elastic-perfectly-plastic or bilinear hysteresis modeling of members are used when the hysteretic behavior of members is stable without local and lateral-torsional buckling failure. Large portion of the inelastic analysis studies has been focused an these modeling studies without experimental verification. Therefore, these analytical studies should be verified by actual test. In this study, pushover test for an one-story two-bay and a two-story two-bay steel moment-resisting frame was performed. The results were compared with the one of inelastic analysis and following conclusion was acquired. Bilinear model including the strain hardening stiffness of the member about 2% of the elastic stiffness caused better agreement with the test result than elastic perfectly-plastic model excluding the strain hardening contribution. The ultimate strength and plastic hinge history of inelastic analysis accounting strain-hardening stiffness of member were almost the same when they compared with test results.

2-Pyridone을 이용한 Nucleic Acid Bases간의 Multiple Hydrogen Bonding에 관한 연구

핵산 염기간의 multiple hydrogen bonding model로서 2-pyridone의 N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone 에 대한 hydrogen bonding association을 25℃ 사염화 탄소 용액에서 측정하여 94 M^(?)의 값을 얻었다. Complexation constant 값을 고정한 후, pK_(a) of N-H acids와 bases의 log K 간의 Bronsted relationship을 이용하여, 2-Pyridone의 dimerization constant 값 k_(d)를 계산한 결과 1.2×10^(5) M^(-1)로 나왔다. 2-pyridone의 oxygen bases에 대한 hydrogen bonding equilbrium constant는 다른 N-H acid의 같은 bases에 대한 예상처보다 큰 것으로 보였다. Hydrogen bonding association of 2-pyridone to N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone in carbon tetrachloride at 25° was measured( 94N^(-l)). After fixing the complaxation constant, the dunerization constant of 2-pyridone was also calculated from the relationship between the pK_(a), of N-H acids and log K for bases and got the value of kd as 12x10^(5) with the standard deviation of 0.002. it seems that the hydrogen bonding equilibrium constant for 2-pyridone to the oxygen bases is larger than the expected from the other N-H acid to the same base.

이론 평가와 과학의 합리성 : Laudan's Methodology of Research Tradition 로던(Laudan)의 연구전통 방법론을 중심으로

본 논문은 로던의 연구 전통 방법론이 합리주의와 상대주의라는 극단적인 대립을 극복하고, 상대주의적인 여러 견해들을 합리주의 안으로 끌어들임으로써 새로운 합리성을 마련할 수 있음을 보이고자 한다. 상대주의는 다음의 세 가지 논제를 근거로 하여 정통과학관으로서의 합리주의를 비판한다. 1. 관찰의 이론 의존성. 2. 쿤의 통약불가능성 논제. 3. 뒤앙-콰인의 전체론 논제와 수정 가능성 논제. 로던은 위의 세 주장들을 적절히 수용하여 새로운 합리성을 건설하고자 한다. 로던의 연구전통 방법론은 과학을 문제풀이 과정으로 파악하고, 과학의 합리성과 진보개념을 문제풀이 효율성의 정도로 규정함으로써 새로운 합리성을 확보한다. 그리고 그는 형식적 합리주의자들처럼 진리 문제와 관련지어 이론선택의 합리성을 규정하지 않고 진보성을 합리성의 기준으로 선택한다. 그래서 그의 새로운 합리성은 도구적, 실용주의적 합리성의 성격을 가진다. 이 논문은 로던의 실용주의적 합리성이 전통적인 상대주의적 논제들을 적절히 수용하면서도, 무정부주의나 상대주의에 빠지지 않고 새로운 합리성을 제시하고 있음을 보여준다. This paper has its objectives in showing that Laudan's methodology of research tradition overcomes the two extremes of rationalism and relativism and by absorbing various reladvistic views into the rationalistic tradition enables itself to construct a new foundation for rationalism. Based on the three following theses, relativism criticizes rationalism as 'a received view'. l.The theory-ladenness of observation. 2.Kuhn's theses. 3.Duhem-Quine theses of holism and revisability. Laudan aims at constructing a new rationali쇼 by adequately accepting the three claims. Laudan claims that science is in itself a problem-solving activity and attempts to construct a new rationality by regarding the rationality of science as the degree of problem-solving effectiveness. He accepts progressiveness as the standard of rationality, instead of relating the rationality of theory-appraisal to truth or verisimilitude like formal rationalists. By doing so, his new rationality is characterized as a instrumental, pragmatic rationality.

Leaks and meter under registrations are suspected as primary components of unaccounted-for water in Korea. Roughly, one third of the unaccounted-for water is believed to be due to meter under registration. However, no justification has been given to prove the statistics. In this study the rate of meter under registration due to failures of large-diameter meters is investigated. Replacement records of over 2600 consumer sites are analyzed. The minimum, the maximum and the probabilistic distribution of meter under registration rate are computed.
