FDTD Modeling for the Accurate Electromagnetic Wave Analysis of Graphene

We develop a fnite-diference time-domain (FDTD) method suitable for the electromagnetic (EM) analysis of graphene. In this work, we employ the modifed Lorentz model for dispersion modeling, the two-dimensional (2-D) sheet model for geometrical modeling, and the complex-frequency-shifted (CFS)-perfectly matched layer (PML) for the absorbing boundary condition. In specifc, the accurate complex-conjugate pole-residue (CCPR) dispersion model is frst adapted for the electrical modeling of graphene by using the robust vector ftting. Next, the CCPR parameters are converted to the modifed Lorentz parameters and then the modifed Lorentz-based dispersive FDTD formulation is used to enhance the computational efciency. In FDTD cell modeling, the 2-D sheet cells are allocated for graphene rather than the conventional FDTD cell-based modeling. Finally, CFS-PML are employed for terminating the computational domain to avoid the late-time instability. The presented FDTD approach is validated in numerical examples for graphene-based parallel plate waveguides.

Objectives: This clinical study reports the effects of Cheonggansoyo-san (CSS) on three patients with glossodynia. Methods: Three patients with glossodynia were treated with CSS (i.e., an herbal medicine) and acupuncture. Numeric rating scales (NRSs) for glossodynia and dry mouth and hwa-byung questionnaire scores were evaluated, and the results from heart rate variability (HRV) evaluations were analyzed. Results: After treatment with CSS, three patients' glossodynia symptoms, such as burning sensations, tingling, and numbness of the tongue, were improved. NRS ratings for glossodynia and dry mouth and the hwa-byung questionnaire scores also improved, and HRV parameters were closer to the normal range. Conclusion: Cheonggansoyo-san could be used to treat glossodynia.

데이터 글러브를 이용한 손 제스처 기반 3차원 게임 구현

데이터 글러브(Data Glove)는 손 제스처를 정의하여 시스템을 제어하는 입력장치로 가상현실기술 및 교육, 의료, 산업분야에서 많이 사용되고 있다. 이는 가상현실 속에 존재하는 사물을 현실에서 제어하게 함으로써 사용자에게 마치 현실 세계의 사물을 제어하는 느낌을 주는 장점을 가지고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 이러한 데이터 글러브의 장점을 이용하여 3차원 게임에 적용시키는 방법을 제안한다. 먼저 데이터 글러브로 제스처를 정의하고, 트래커(Tracker)와 연동하여 시스템을 구현한다. 구현된 시스템을 실험하기 위해서 OpenGL로 인형 뽑기 게임을 구현하고 사용자가 데이터 글러브를 착용 후 정의된 제스처를 통해 게임을 제어하도록 한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방법은 사용자들에게 좀 더 높은 몰입감을 제공하며, 향후 게임 산업 발전에도 많은 영향을 줄 것으로 기대한다.

인체 자궁암 세포에서 천연 성분이 P-당단백질의 활성에 미치는 영향

Multidrug resistance (MDR) of cancer cells is, at least in part, associated with the overexpression of P-gly-coprotein (P-gp). Many studies hve demonstrated that natural compounds obtained from fruits, vegetables, teas and medicinal plants may modulate P-gp activity. The objective of the present investigation was to examine the effect of seven natural compounds on the P-gp activity in human uterine sarcoma cell line, MES-SA/DX5. Daunomycin uptake was significantly increased by biochanin A and silymarin (p<0.0001) whereas it was reduced by morin (p<0.01). The efflux of daunomycin from the cells was significantly inhibited by biochanin A, morin, cephalotaxine, berberine (p<0.05) and silymarin (p<0.0001). Biochanin A, berberine and silymarin significantly decreased IC_(50) value of daunomycin (p<0.05) while morin increased it (p<0.05). These results suggest that some natural compounds such as biochanin A and silymarin may inhibit P-gp funciton and can by developed as MDR reversing agents to improve the efficacy of chemotherapeutic drugs when administered concomitantly.

어머니의 언어적 상호작용과 유아의 어휘 사용과의 관계 연구

본 연구는 만 3세 유아를 대상으로 하여 자연스러운 가정상황에서의 어머니와 유아의 언어적 상호작용의 양 및 언어적 상호작용의 유형과 그에따른 유아의 어휘 사용관계에 대해 알아봄으로써, 유아의 어휘 발달에 영향을 미치는 어머니의 언어적 상호작용의 중요성에 대해 살펴보았다. 연구에서 나타난 결과를 통하여 어머니의 언어적 상호작용의 중요성을 재인식 할 수 있으며, 어머니의 언어적 상호작용의 양과 유형은 유아의 어휘사용과 밀접한 관계를 갖는다는 것을 알 수 있었다. The purpose of this study is to see the relationship of mother's language interaction & young children's vocaburary development. The subject in the study were 10 preschool children, the mean age being 54.7 months. The data for this study was collected at natural home setting that was audiotaped &transcribed for 180 minites. Through this study, it can be shown that the amounts & types of mother's language interaction affects the development of child's vocaburary. And also we recognized the impotance of mother's language interaction.

Styrene-co-lithium methacrylate ionomer의 기계적인 성질에 미치는 LiCl의 영향

The effect of LiCl salt added to styrene-co-lithium methacrylate ionomer on the mechanical properties of ionomers was studied dynamic rnschanically. When the LiCl salt was added to a 100% Li-neutralized ionomer, the amount of added salt. in the range of 100-300% to ionic groups of the ionomer, did not change the mechanical properties of the ionomers, This implies that the added salt may form isolated LiCl salt aggregates in the polymer matrix. However, when LiCl was added to a 200% neutralized ionomer, the cluster T_(g) shifted to a low temperature and then the sample started to flow. This result suggests that in this case the LiCl salts reside in and near the multiplets, resulting the weakening of ionic interactions between ionic groups in multiplets.

성인용 브래지어의 치수체계에 관한 실태조사 : 케이블 TV홈쇼핑 판매제품을 중심으로 focusing on products in Cable TV Home Shopping

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the suitability of size of adult women's brassieres sold in Cable TV Home-Shopping. For this purpose, the characteristics of the manufacture's size chart for brassieres were analyzed and compared with Korean Industrial Standard size chart. The results of this study show that 1. The main target age of underwear brand (especially PB brand) in Cable TV Home Shopping was adult women in their middle 30's to early 40's. 2. As a consequence of reviewing the production ratio of each brassiere cup size, that of "A" and "B" cup appeared in a ratio of 7 to 3. And the highest production ratio of "A" cup size was 45% (80A), followed by 35% (75A), 15% (85A), and 5% (90A) in their order. As for B cup size, 80B was 40%, 75B was 30%, 85B was 25%, 90B was 5%. 3. Cup sizes labeled on brassieres sold in Cable TV Home-Shopping were not consistent with revised cup sizes (KS K 0070:1999) and still all brassieres were labeled by former cup sizes (KS K 0070:1987). 4. In the case of underbust circumference and bust circumference, the manufacture's size chart was not consistent with Korean Industrial Standard size chart (KS K 0070:1999). That's why Korean Industrial Standard size chart is not taken into consideration for elastic materials. 5. There is no size chart based on the characteristics of volumes and shapes of the breasts in Korean Industrial Standard size chart. Therefore, we need to set up the method of deciding the cup sizes to make up for the problem of current brassiere sizing system

초고속 통신망에서 비디오의 주관적 품질 평가에 관한 연구

방과 후 아동지도 연구 경향에 대한 분석

본 연구는 1991년 영유아보육법 제정이후 현재까지 국내에서 진행되어온 방과 후 아동지도의 연구경향을 분석하여, 방과 후 아동지도 관련 정책입안의 방향을 제시하고, 추후 연구의 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 본 연구의 결론 및 제언은 다음과 같다. 1. 방과 후 아동지도에 대한 전반적인 실태분석에 대한 연구는 진행되었지만 구체적인 사례에 대한 비교연구나 질적수준 향상을 위한 심층적인 연구가 요구된다. 2. 방과 후 아동지도에 관한 요구도 조사나 인식조사는 주로 학부모를 대상으로 한 연구가 많았는데 앞으로의 연구에서는 아동, 교사, 관계공무원 등의 요구와 인식에 대한 조사가 필요하다. 3. 방과 후 아동지도가 아동에게 미치는 영향에 관한 연구는 주로 아동의 사회성과 인지발달영역에 관심을 두고 진행되었으나 앞으로의 연구에서는 아동의 다른 발달 영역에 대한 연구가 진행되어야 할 것이다. 4. 교사의 전문성과 직무만족도에 관한 연구결과는 일부 진행되었는데 교사가 안정감을 가지고 방과 후 시설에 근무하기 위해서는 보수교육과 직무스트레스 등에 대한 연구도 함께 진행되어야 할 것이다. 5. 보육제도에 관한 비교연구는 문헌을 통한 단순한 비교연구에서 벗어나 국가 정책 차원의현장연구가 병행되어야 할 것이다. 6. 방과 후 아동지도의 질적수준에 대한 연구는 초기적인 단계에 머물러 있으므로 다양한 영역에서의 질적수준에 대한 연구가 요구된다. The purpose of this study is to examine research trends in the field of after school care for children in Korea, by analyzing studies on the after school care for children from 1991 to 2003. As a result, this study showed implications regarding the future studies which are asked in the field of after school care for children study following this. 1. A study of after school care for children : Need of specific and theoretical study. 2. A study of desire and recognitions of the after school care for children : Need of desire and recognitions of child, school-age child care worker government employee. 3. A study on the program of after school care for children : Need of specific and empirical study. 4. A study of school-age child care worker : Need of study SACW's job stress and job stress. 5. The comparative study of after school care for children : Need for field study. 6. A study of on the quality of alter school care for children and after school care for children management : Need of systematic study.

전주시의 상수처리에서 하천수와 호소수의 비교분석에 관한 연구

The study on the water treatment plant of Jikok, Sangkwan, and Daeseong for one year showed that items, such as hydrogen ion concentration, Dissolved Oxygen, Suspended Solid and nitrate, etc., varied respectively, but all items coincide with the standard values. But in Jikok water treatment plant, coliform bacteria increased rapidly, and the value of BOD also increased. The study on treated water seemed that all items except nitrate and sulfonate properly treated and agreed to the standard values. In case of chlorine residues, they were found much during winter, so it needs shortening the input during winter season.
