        Decreased ARD1 Expression Stabilize the HIF-1α Stability Under Hypoxia

        The stability and activity of HIF-1α are regulated by various post-translational modifications, hydroxylation, acetylation, and phosphorylation. Therefore, HIF-1α interacts with several protein factors including PHD, pVHL, ARD1, and p300/CBP. Under normoxia, the HIF-1α subunit is rapidly degraded via the von Hippel-Lindau tumor suppressor gene product (pVHL)-mediated ubiquitin-proteasome pathway. Mouse ARD1 has been reported to negatively regulate the hypoxia-inducible factor 1α (HIF-1α) protein by acetylating a lysine residue and enhancing HIF-1α ubiquitination and degradation. Herein, it is demonstrated that ARD1 cannot affect the hydroxylation of HIF-1α, which is the major regulatory modification for the stability. Moreover, the ARD1 expression level is downregulated by hypoxic exposure. (Cancer Prev Res 11, 284-290, 2006)

        고등학생의 진로체험 유형과 부모지지가 진로성숙도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of career experiential learning and parental support on career maturity of high school students. The number of subjects for this study was 290 high school students. The results are as follows. First, the effects of attitude in career maturity were higher for students with communication, field trip and visiting, and field experience in career experiential learning. However, career planning did not have any correlation with field experience types of attitude in career maturity. The effect of competency in career maturity was positively correlated with student experience with theory, communication, and field trip and visiting in career experiential learning. Second, parental support showed a significant positive correlation with all factors of career maturity. Third, results identify career maturity impacts on career experiential learning. The types of communication as well as field trip and visiting significantly affected all components of career maturity. The type of theory was a factor affecting competency. In addition, the results reveal the impact of parental support on the career maturity. Emotional support had a significant influence on all factors for career maturity, except for career exploration. Informative support was found to have a significant influence on career planning, career independency and career exploration. Financial support had a significant influence on occupational attitude, career independency and career exploration. 본 연구는 고등학생 진로성숙도를 함양하기 위하여 진로체험 유형과 부모지지가 진로성숙도 하위영역인 태도적 차원(진로계획성, 직업태도, 진로독립성)과 능력적 차원(자기이해, 진로탐색)에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 최근 1년 이내에 진로체험 프로그램에 참여한 경험이 있는 고등학교 1~3학년을 대상으로 온라인을 통해 자료를 수집하였으며, 최종 290명을 분석에 사용하였다. 주요연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 진로성숙도의 태도적 차원인 진로계획성은 대화형, 견학・방문형 경험을 한 경우, 직업태도과 진로독립성 수준은 대화형, 견학・방문형, 현장체험형 경험을 한 경우 높게 나타났다. 능력적 차원인 자기이해와 진로탐색은 이론형, 대화형, 견학・방문형 경험이있는 경우 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 진로관련 부모지지인 정서적, 정보적, 물질적 지지와 진로성숙도의 모든 하위영역은 유의미한 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 셋째, 진로체험 유형이 진로성숙도에 미치는 영향력을 살펴본 결과, 대화형과 견학・방문형은 태도적 차원(진로계획성, 직업태도, 진로독립성)과 능력적 차원(자기이해, 진로탐색) 모두 진로성숙에 유의한 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타났으며, 이론형은 능력적 차원에영향을 끼치는 요인으로 나타났다. 다음으로 부모지지를 투입하여 체험유형과 부모지지가 진로성숙에 미치는 상대적 영향력을 살펴본결과, 정서적 지지가 진로탐색을 제외한 모든 진로성숙의 하위영역에 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타났다. 정보적 지지는 진로계획성, 진로독립성, 진로탐색에 물질적 지지는 직업태도, 자기이해, 진로탐색에 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 고등학생 진로성숙도의 하위 역량을 함양하기 위한 진로체험 프로그램의 핵심 구성과 실행에 의미 있는 정보적 역할을하며, 부모지지와 연계한 실천적 측면을 강조하는 진로교육 운영지침에 유용한 자료로 제공될 것이다.

        메타버스를 적용한 가족축제 운영 사례와 효과 분석

        This study aimed to enhance awareness of diverse families and promote an inclusive, family-friendly culture by implementing the metaverse in a family festival and assessing its effects during the Covid-19 pandemic. To achieve this, the metaverse was applied and operated at the Jung-gu Family Center Family Festival in Seoul from October 29 to November 6, 2021. The design of the Metaverse Family Festival prioritized the integration of metaverse technology and the layout of program-linked spaces to create a realistic experience. The festival was operated with a focus on providing experiential activities and exhibitions. Data comprised program satisfaction and reviews from a sample of 228 festival participants. The key findings were as follows. Firstly, participants shared their interest and joy in experiencing new activities with their families through the Metaverse Family Festival. Secondly, creating a realistic family festival environment proved practical for encouraging active participation. Thirdly, the Metaverse Family Festival was perceived as promoting an inclusive, family-friendly culture by facilitating safe and accessible communication. Fourthly, the festival effectively bridged the digital gap within families, thereby enhancing digital literacy. This study offers new insights for the future design and operation of various programs in family centers and public institutions.

        A Promising Method for Tumor Localization during Total Laparoscopic Distal Gastrectomy: Preoperative Endoscopic Clipping based on Negative Biopsy and Selective Intraoperative Radiography Findings

        Purpose: Precise localization of tumors and creation of sufficient proximal resection margins are complicated processes during total laparoscopic distal gastrectomy (TLDG) for clinical T1/T2 gastric cancers. Various solutions to this problem have also yielded many disadvantages. In this study, we reviewed a preoperative endoscopic clipping method based on the results of negative biopsy and selective intraoperative radiography. Materials and Methods: A retrospective review of 345 consecutive patients who underwent TLDG and preoperative endoscopic clipping for tumor localization was conducted. During preoperative endoscopy, the endoscopists performed negative biopsies just 1–2 cm selectively above the tumor's upper limit. After confirming the biopsy results, endoscopic metal clips were applied just proximal to the negative biopsy site the day before surgery. Selective intraoperative tumor localization using portable abdominal radiography was performed only when we could not ensure a precise resection line. Results: Negative biopsy was performed in 244 patients. Larger tumor size (P=0.008) and more distally located tumors (P=0.052) were observed more frequently in the negative biopsy group than in the non-negative biopsy group. The non-negative biopsy group had significantly higher frequencies of differentiated tumor types than the negative biopsy group (P=0.003). Of the 244 patients who underwent negative biopsies, 6 had cancer cells in their biopsy specimens. We performed intraoperative radiography in 12 patients whose tumors had difficult-to-determine proximal margins. No tumors were found in the proximal resection margins of any patients. Conclusions: Our tumor localization method is a promising and accurate method for securing a sufficient resection margin during TLDG.

        실러와 니체의 예술충동 이론과 인간중심 표현예술치료

        The purpose of this study is to examine the meaning of borderline intelligence youth's experience in Person-Centered Expressive Arts Therapy programs based on the artistic drives of Friedrich Schiller and Friedrich Nietzsche. The three participants experienced a total of eight expressive arts and then analyzed the meaning of the experience through in-depth interviews. In particular, since they are protected children in child care facilities, they have a strong initial resistance and low interpersonal skills. However, in this study, participants commonly accepted the expressive art experience as a meaning of self-understanding and acceptance as it is, and confidence to express themselves regardless of the gaze of others. Therefore, this study is expected to be of academic value in that the aesthetic experience of Person-Centered Expressive Arts Therapy shows the experience and meaning of awakening artistic drives in art impulse theory.

        Propagation of Human Embryonic Stem Cells on Human Amniotic Fluid Cells as Feeder Cells in Xeno-Free Culture Conditions

        Human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) have been routinely cultured on mouse embryonic fibroblast feeder layers with a medium containing animal materials. For clinical application of hESCs, animal-derived products from the animal feeder cells, animal substrates such as gelatin or Matrigel and animal serum are strictly to be eliminated in the culture system. In this study, we performed that SNUhES32 and H1 were cultured on human amniotic fluid cells (hAFCs) with KOSR XenoFree and a humanized substrate. All of hESCs were relatively well propagated on hAFCs feeders with xeno-free conditions and they expressed pluripotent stem cell markers, alkaline phosphatase, SSEA-4, TRA1-60, TRA1-81, Oct-4, and Nanog like hESCs cultured on STO or human foreskin fibroblast feeders. In addition, we observed the expression of nonhuman N-glycolylneuraminic acid (Neu5GC) molecules by flow cytometry, which was xenotransplantation components of contamination in hESCs cultured on animal feeder conditions, was not detected in this xeno-free condition. In conclusion, SNUhES32 and H1 could be maintained on hAFCs for humanized culture conditions, therefore, we suggested that new xenofree conditions for clinical grade hESCs culture will be useful data in future clinical studies.

        In situ fabrication of highly porous foam-like Zn nanostructures on gas diffusion layer for selective electrocatalytic reduction of carbon dioxide to carbon monoxide

        Electrochemical reduction of CO2 is regarded as a promising technique for converting unwanted CO2 intohigh-value chemicals. Among the various electrocatalysts that are crucial for overcoming sluggish reductionprocesses, Zn has been continuously studied because of its suitable catalytic activity and abundancein the earth’s crust. In this study, we fabricated highly porous foam-like Zn nanostructures on a gas diffusionlayer (GDL) using hydrothermal growth and in situ reduction process. The prepared electrodeshowed a CO partial current density of 20.9 mA∙cm2 at 1.10 V, which is approximately 10 times higherthan that of the bare Zn foil. Moreover, the fabricated electrode can be directly applied to the large-scaleflow cell system without further modification. The flow cell system with the fabricated electrode showeda current density of approximately 200 mA∙cm2 and CO faradaic efficiency of 75% on a 2 h long experimentat 2.7 V cell voltage, which clearly confirms the possibility of highly porous Zn nanostructures onGDL.

        위선암에서 발견된 칸디다증 1예

        위장관 칸디다증은 대개는 면역성이 저하된 경우에 기회 감염으로 발현되는 것이 일반적이다. 위장관 칸디다증 중식도 칸디다증이 가장 많은 빈도를 차지하고 있고 주로 면역기능이 억제된 환자에서 잘 발생하지만 드물게 건강한 성인에서도 보고된다. 현재까지는 양성 위궤양에 병발된 위장관 칸디다증이 흔히 보고되었지만 위선암에서 발견된 칸디다증은 비교적 드물다. 저자들은 속쓰림과 소화불량을 주소로 내원한 72세 여자환자에서 수술전 위선암과 칸디다증으로 진단되어 fluconazole을 경구투여를 통하여 칸디다증을 치료한 후 위전절제술을 시행한 증례를 경험 하였다. 본 증례의 경험과 문헌 검색을 통하여, 저자들은 위암 수술 전 위암과 함께 위 칸디다증을 진단받은 환자에 대하여 칸디다에 대한 약물 치료 후 수술을 권유하는 바이다.

        초・중・고 학교 소비자교육 내용체계안 개발 및 활용 방안 연구

        This study aims to prepare a content framework to implement consumer education in elementary, middle and high school education in response to the policy demands of revitalization and systematization of school consumer education. To this end, first, we examined changes in the consumption environment and education environment related to school consumer education, and analyzed the current state of consumer education in Korea focusing on the cross-curricular learning themes of the curriculum. Additionally, we examined research trends related to the content framework of school consumer education, and derived implications for preparing the content framework for school consumer education. Afterwards, we conducted Delphi surveys twice with 20 experts, and analyzed results focusing on content validity ratio and degree of agreement. Based on the results of the Delphi survey, the goals and content framework of school consumer education were derived. The overall goal of consumer education was prepared so that the identity of consumer education could be revealed while meeting the goals of school education. The content framework for school consumer education was drawn into four major areas with connectivity and hierarchy and it was as follows: ‘Ⅰ. Changes in Market Environment and Consumption Culture’, ‘Ⅱ. Rational Purchasing Decision Making and Financial Management’, ‘Ⅲ. Types and Solutions of Consumer Problems’, ‘IV. Consumer 초ㆍ중ㆍ고 학교 소비자교육 내용체계안 개발 및 활용 방안 연구 103 Rights and Consumer Citizenship’. Finally, we implemented plan of the school consumer education content framework in five aspects: ⑴ subject education, ⑵ creative experience activities and cross-curricular learning, ⑶ free-semester program (free school year program) and career education, ⑷ extracurricular consumer education program, and ⑸ consumer competency measurement tool development. 본 연구의 목적은 학교 소비자교육의 활성화 및 체계화라는 정책적 요구에 부응하여 초·중·고 학교 교육에서 소비자교육을 실시하기 위한 내용체계안을 마련하는 것이다. 이를 위해 먼저 학교 소비자교 육과 관련된 소비 환경 및 교육 환경의 변화를 살펴보고, 우리나라 소비자교육의 현황을 교육과정의 범교과 학습 주제를 중심으로 분석하였다. 또한 학교 소비자교육 내용체계 관련 연구 동향을 검토하 여, 학교 소비자교육의 내용체계안 마련을 위한 시사점을 도출하였다. 이후 전문가 20명을 대상으로 두 차례에 걸쳐 델파이 조사를 실시하고 내용타당도와 합의도를 중심으로 결과 분석을 진행하였다. 델 파이 조사 결과를 바탕으로 학교 소비자교육의 목표와 내용체계안을 도출하였다. 학교교육 목표에 부 합하면서도 소비자교육의 정체성이 드러날 수 있도록 소비자교육의 전체 목표를 마련하였으며, 이러 한 전체 목표를 달성하기 위해 통합성과 계열성을 고려하여 학교급별 목표를 구체화하였다. 학교 소비 자교육의 내용체계안은 연계성과 위계성을 염두에 두면서 4개의 대영역으로 도출하였으며, ‘Ⅰ. 시장 환경의 변화와 소비문화’, ‘Ⅱ. 합리적 구매의사결정과 재무 관리’, ‘Ⅲ. 소비자 문제의 유형과 해결’, ‘Ⅳ. 소비자 권리와 소비자시민성’으로 구성하였다. 마지막으로, 교과 교육, 창의적 체험활동 및 범교과 학 습, 자유학기제(자유학년제) 및 진로 교육, 학교 외 소비자교육 프로그램, 소비자역량 측정 도구 개발 이라는 다섯 가지 측면에서 학교 소비자교육 내용체계안의 활용 방안을 제안하였다.
