In October 2021, the Korean government designated 89 local governments as areas of population decline, based on indicators of decline that it had developed. This study categorizes the 89 areas of population decline into four clusters using K-mean cluster analysis and examines policies to address population decline by cluster. Cluster 1 areas have experienced rapid increases in the number of aged residents and decreases in the number of young residents, particularly in rural areas. The governments in the areas in this cluster have implemented policies calling for a ‘return to the farm’. The cities in Cluster 2 are relatively large and have a high likelihood of overcoming their population declines. The primary policy type implemented in the cities in this cluster is citizen-driven local governance. Cluster 3 includes small cities that have the potential to increase their population by promoting local industries and attracting people. Cluster 4 includes cities in which rapid population decline is expected, and policies in these cities are based mainly on residents’ lifecycles. 본 연구는 2021년 10월 정부에서 발표한 인구감소지수를 활용하여 인구감소지역으로 지정된 89곳의 시・군・구를 4개의 군집으로 분류하고, 군집 별 특성을 분석한다. 군집 1은 고령 인구의 급증과 유소년・청년 인구의 감소로 지방소멸의 위험이 가장 큰 곳이며, 청년 유입을 위한 귀농어・귀촌 정책을 특징으로 한다. 군집 2는 비교적 규모가 크고 인구감소 위기를 극복할 가능성이 가장 큰 지역으로 인근 지역과 연계한 주민수요 중심 인구정책을 추진하고 있다. 군집 3은 규모는 작지만, 인구감소의 속도가 비교적 느리고 인구증가의 가능성이 큰 곳이며, 지역산업 육성과 주소지 이전을 통한 인구 유입정책을 특징으로 한다. 군집 4는 인구감소가 빠르게 진행될 것으로 예상되는 지역으로 생애주기 맞춤 인구 유입정책을 추진하고 있다. 인구감소 위기 극복을 위해 각 지방정부에서 이처럼 다양한 정책을 시행하고 있지만, 더 나아가 광역 정부 또는 광역경제권 내에서 대응 방안을 모색할 필요가 있다.
기본소생술 교육에서 두 가지 실습 방법에 따른 수행도 차이와 강사의 실습 운영 편의성

Purpose: This study compared the effectiveness and ease of operation of two different training methods, response sequence based training (RBST) and chest compression first training (CCFT), for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)Methods: Eighty-five railroad workers were divided into two groups: those who applied the usual CPR training method (response sequence based training, 44 people) and those who applied our CPR training method (chest compression first training, 41 people). The objective skill performances were evaluated by using a mannequin (JAMY-IV RECO,Kyotokagaku, Japan). Results: There was no statistical difference in CPR performance and artificial ventilation success rate between the RSBT group and the CCFT group. However, the artificial compression success rate and compression depth of the CCFT group compared to the RSBT group was statistically higher (p=0.006, 0.001). In addition, the wrong-hand-position rate of the RSBT group compared to the CCFT group was statistically higher (p=0.000). Furthermore, instructor satisfaction with practical training operations in the CCFT group compared to the RSBT group was statistically higher (p=0.001)and instructors reported that students were focused and easily capable of performing the CCFT training method. Conclusion: The chest compression first training method is easy to perform and not too complex to operate, making it effective in student performance and instruction. More effective CPR training is expected based on this method.
Membrane Type-Matrix Metalloproteinase-1에 의한 혈관내피세포의 침윤 및 혈관신생 촉진 작용

Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) have been reported to play critical roles in the cell migration and matrix remodeling during invasion and metastasis. Among these MMPs, membrane-type MMP-1 (MT1-MMP) is an important molecule that can trigger the invasion of tumour cells by activating MMP-2 on the tumour cell surfaces. In this study, to investigate the roles of the MT1-MMP by the matrix remodeling of endothelial cells, MT1-MMP expression vector was transfected into human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs). Increased expression of MT1-MMP in HUVECs enhanced the activation of MMP-2 and invasion of endothelial cells. Moreover, the capacity of tube formation was increased by MT1-MMP overexpression. These observations indicate that MT1-MMP is involved in the angiogenic process of endothelial cells in vitro. (Cancer Prev Res 12, 92-97, 2007)
고등학생의 진로체험 유형과 부모지지가 진로성숙도에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of career experiential learning and parental support on career maturity of high school students. The number of subjects for this study was 290 high school students. The results are as follows. First, the effects of attitude in career maturity were higher for students with communication, field trip and visiting, and field experience in career experiential learning. However, career planning did not have any correlation with field experience types of attitude in career maturity. The effect of competency in career maturity was positively correlated with student experience with theory, communication, and field trip and visiting in career experiential learning. Second, parental support showed a significant positive correlation with all factors of career maturity. Third, results identify career maturity impacts on career experiential learning. The types of communication as well as field trip and visiting significantly affected all components of career maturity. The type of theory was a factor affecting competency. In addition, the results reveal the impact of parental support on the career maturity. Emotional support had a significant influence on all factors for career maturity, except for career exploration. Informative support was found to have a significant influence on career planning, career independency and career exploration. Financial support had a significant influence on occupational attitude, career independency and career exploration. 본 연구는 고등학생 진로성숙도를 함양하기 위하여 진로체험 유형과 부모지지가 진로성숙도 하위영역인 태도적 차원(진로계획성, 직업태도, 진로독립성)과 능력적 차원(자기이해, 진로탐색)에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 최근 1년 이내에 진로체험 프로그램에 참여한 경험이 있는 고등학교 1~3학년을 대상으로 온라인을 통해 자료를 수집하였으며, 최종 290명을 분석에 사용하였다. 주요연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 진로성숙도의 태도적 차원인 진로계획성은 대화형, 견학・방문형 경험을 한 경우, 직업태도과 진로독립성 수준은 대화형, 견학・방문형, 현장체험형 경험을 한 경우 높게 나타났다. 능력적 차원인 자기이해와 진로탐색은 이론형, 대화형, 견학・방문형 경험이있는 경우 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 진로관련 부모지지인 정서적, 정보적, 물질적 지지와 진로성숙도의 모든 하위영역은 유의미한 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 셋째, 진로체험 유형이 진로성숙도에 미치는 영향력을 살펴본 결과, 대화형과 견학・방문형은 태도적 차원(진로계획성, 직업태도, 진로독립성)과 능력적 차원(자기이해, 진로탐색) 모두 진로성숙에 유의한 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타났으며, 이론형은 능력적 차원에영향을 끼치는 요인으로 나타났다. 다음으로 부모지지를 투입하여 체험유형과 부모지지가 진로성숙에 미치는 상대적 영향력을 살펴본결과, 정서적 지지가 진로탐색을 제외한 모든 진로성숙의 하위영역에 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타났다. 정보적 지지는 진로계획성, 진로독립성, 진로탐색에 물질적 지지는 직업태도, 자기이해, 진로탐색에 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 고등학생 진로성숙도의 하위 역량을 함양하기 위한 진로체험 프로그램의 핵심 구성과 실행에 의미 있는 정보적 역할을하며, 부모지지와 연계한 실천적 측면을 강조하는 진로교육 운영지침에 유용한 자료로 제공될 것이다.
인터넷전문은행의 지속적 이용의도에 있어서 지각된 위험의 영향력 : 수용요인의 조절효과 분석

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of perceived risk on continuous usage intention of Internet primary banks and to verify moderating effects of acceptance factors affecting customers' acceptance of Internet primary banks on the relationship between perceived risk and continuous usage intention. The study aims to find ways to cope with perceived risk and strategic measures of intention in order to increase the intention to continuous usage intention of Internet primary banks. For the analysis, interaction effect were conducted among a total of 457 surveys. As a results, First, perceived risks, acceptance factors and continuous usage intention of the customers of Internet primary banks were significantly correlated. Second, the types of perceived risks which have a significant effect on continued usage intention of Internet primary banks were found to be perceived financial and functional risks. Third, respect to moderating effects of moderator variables, usefulness was found to have a significant moderating effect on the relationship between perceived security risk and continuous usage intention. In addition, ease of use was shown to have a significant moderating effect on the relationship between each type of perceived risks and continuous usage intention. This study attempted to explore and seek strategies to reduce perceived risks and strategic plans for acceptance factors to increase continuous usage intention of Internet primary banks.
고령 여성의 측면체형 분류에 따른 직접측정치와 3차원 자동측정치간의 차이 분석

This study analyzes differences between the results of 3D direct measurements and automated measurements for Korean elderly females according to age groups, side somatotype, and BMI groups. This study compares the measurement differences of the direct and the 3D automated measurements for women between the ages of 70 to 85, according to age group, BMI group, and side somatotype. A comparison of the results of the direct measurement and the 3D automated measurements for elderly women show that a meaningful discrepancy exists for 29 items out of 33 items. Furthermore, the results of comparing the average error tolerance recommended by ISO20685 shows that 30 items out of 33 items exceeded ISO recommendations. The results of the automated measurement program shows a higher degree of accuracy for straight postures; however, this unsuitable for postures of elderly women with a changed somatotype. The analysis results of the measurement difference indicate the suitability of the automatic measurement programs is found to be high for stood postures, while problems seem to exist on several items along with an automated program is not appropriately used due to posture and part of body changes for elderly women. Therefore, it is recommended to develop an algorithm, that reflects the body changes of elderly women first and then upgrade the automated program equipped with a measurement size method. It is hoped that the study results can be utilized as base data for improving the automated measurement program.
Decreased ARD1 Expression Stabilize the HIF-1α Stability Under Hypoxia

The stability and activity of HIF-1α are regulated by various post-translational modifications, hydroxylation, acetylation, and phosphorylation. Therefore, HIF-1α interacts with several protein factors including PHD, pVHL, ARD1, and p300/CBP. Under normoxia, the HIF-1α subunit is rapidly degraded via the von Hippel-Lindau tumor suppressor gene product (pVHL)-mediated ubiquitin-proteasome pathway. Mouse ARD1 has been reported to negatively regulate the hypoxia-inducible factor 1α (HIF-1α) protein by acetylating a lysine residue and enhancing HIF-1α ubiquitination and degradation. Herein, it is demonstrated that ARD1 cannot affect the hydroxylation of HIF-1α, which is the major regulatory modification for the stability. Moreover, the ARD1 expression level is downregulated by hypoxic exposure. (Cancer Prev Res 11, 284-290, 2006)
