      • An Visual System for Humanoid Robot Mobile-Manipulation Based on Virtual and Real Video Fusion

        Lei Wang,Lei Zhang,Junyan Yi,Xiaoyan Wen,Chuncheng Liao 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Signal Processing, Image Vol.8 No.5

A visual system based on virtual and real video for the humanoid robot manipulation is presented. 3D virtual model of humanoid robot is established. It has the same aspect and freedom setup as the real robot. Multiple feedback from the robot are fused and used to express the real robot status as text and images. The system also forecasts the operation order and displays the simulation result. In the data fusion module, a least-squares algorithm is adopted to calculate the real-time position and attitude of the robot. Experiments demonstrate that the system can offer good telepresence and a preview of the operation order. In this paper, we also propose an adaptive Elastic Net method for edge linking of images from the robot cameras to understand the situation of the task. In the proposed method, an adaptive dynamic parameter strategy and a stochastic noise strategy are introduced into the Elastic Net, which enables the network to have superior ability for escaping from local minima and converge sooner to optimal or near-optimal solutions

Acid-free epoxidation of soybean oil with hydrogen peroxide to epoxidized soybean oil over titanium silicalite-1 zeolite supported cadmium catalysts

        Lei Cai,Chao CHEN,Wenjun Wang,Xiu Gao,Xiaoyan Kuang,Yan Jiang,Liang Li,Guoqiang Wu 한국공업화학회 2020 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.91 No.-

Titanium silicalite-1 (TS-1) zeolite was successfully synthesized by hydrothermal method in the presenceof the tetrapropylammonium hydroxide (TPAOH) template, and a series of TS-1 supported cadmium withdifferent Cd loading (xCd/TS-1) catalysts were carefully prepared to produce epoxidized soybean oil(ESO) through the acid-free catalytic epoxidation of soybean oil (SO) with H2O2. These catalysts were fullycharacterized using various modern techniques and further evaluated systematically in this epoxidationreaction to understand the relationship between catalytic activity and structure of active components. The results show that the highly dispersed Cd species are introduced on the TS-1 support withoutaffecting the coordination environment of tetrahedral Ti (framework Ti). Furthermore, the Cd species arecoordinated with tetrahedral Ti species via O atom resulting in the weakness of the Ti–O bonds and facileattack of the Ti–O bonds by alcohol and H2O2, which can easily form thefive-membered intermediate andpromote the SO epoxidation process. Furthermore, the deactivation and regeneration behaviors of 2%Cd/TS-1 catalyst in SO epoxidation were also investigated, which reveal that the catalyst deactivation of cokedeposition is due to the strong adsorption of the catalysts and SO molecules. But the spent 2%Cd/TS-1 canbe completely regenerated by calcination method.

Baseline Total Metabolic Tumor Volume and Total Lesion Glycolysis Measured on 18F-FDG PET-CT Predict Outcomes in T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma

        Xiaoyan Feng,Xin Wen,Ling Li,Zhenchang Sun,Xin Li,Lei Zhang,Jingjing Wu,Xiaorui Fu,Xinhua Wang,Hui Yu,Xinran Ma,Xudong Zhang,Xinli Xie,Xingmin Han,Mingzhi Zhang 대한암학회 2021 Cancer Research and Treatment Vol.53 No.3

Purpose There is no optimal prognostic model for T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma (T-LBL). Here, we discussed the predictive value of total metabolic tumor volume (TMTV) and total lesion glycolysis (TLG) measured on 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography–computed tomography (PET-CT) in T-LBL.Materials and Methods Thirty-seven treatment naïve T-LBL patients with PET-CT scans were enrolled. TMTV was obtained using the 41% maximum standardized uptake value (SUVmax) threshold method, and TLG was measured as metabolic tumor volume multiplied by the mean SUV. Progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) were analyzed by Kaplan-Meier curves and compared by the log-rank test. Results The optimal cutoff values for SUVmax, TMTV, and TLG were 12.7, 302 cm3, and 890, respectively. A high SUVmax, TMTV, and TLG indicated a shorten PFS and OS. On multivariable analysis, TMTV ≥ 302 cm3, and central nervous system (CNS) involvement predicted inferior PFS, while high SUVmax, TLG and CNS involvement were associated with worse OS. Subsequently, we generated a risk model comprising high SUVmax, TMTV or TLG and CNS involvement, which stratified the population into three risk groups, which had significantly different median PFS of not reached, 14 months, and 7 months for low-risk group, mediate-risk group, and high-risk group, respectively (p < 0.001). Median OS were not reached, 27 months, and 13 months, respectively (p < 0.001).Conclusion Baseline SUVmax, TMTV, and TLG measured on PET-CT are strong predictors of worse outcome in T-LBL. A risk model integrating these three parameters with CNS involvement identifies patients at high risk of disease progression.

Novel Nucleotide Variations, Haplotypes Structure and Associations with Growth Related Traits of Goat AT Motif-Binding Factor (ATBF1) Gene

        Xiaoyan Zhang,Xianfeng Wu,Wenchao Jia,Chuanying Pan,Xiangcheng Li,Chuzhao Lei,Hong Chen,Xianyong Lan 아세아·태평양축산학회 2015 Animal Bioscience Vol.28 No.10

The AT motif-binding factor (ATBF1) not only interacts with protein inhibitor of activated signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) (PIAS3) to suppress STAT3 signaling regulating embryo early development and cell differentiation, but is required for early activation of the pituitary specific transcription factor 1 (Pit1) gene (also known as POU1F1) critically affecting mammalian growth and development. The goal of this study was to detect novel nucleotide variations and haplotypes structure of the ATBF1 gene, as well as to test their associations with growth-related traits in goats. Herein, a total of seven novel single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) (SNP 1-7) within this gene were found in two well-known Chinese native goat breeds. Haplotypes structure analysis demonstrated that there were four haplotypes in Hainan black goat while seventeen haplotypes in Xinong Saanen dairy goat, and both breeds only shared one haplotype (hap1). Association testing revealed that the SNP2, SNP5, SNP6, and SNP7 loci were also found to significantly associate with growth-related traits in goats, respectively. Moreover, one diplotype in Xinong Saanen dairy goats significantly linked to growth related traits. These preliminary findings not only would extend the spectrum of genetic variations of the goat ATBF1 gene, but also would contribute to implementing marker-assisted selection in genetics and breeding in goats.

Similar Model for Accurate Structural Vibration Analysis of Elevated Track-Box Girder Coupling System

        Kun Luo,Pengsheng Wang,Xiaoyan Lei,Yan Zhao 대한토목학회 2023 KSCE Journal of Civil Engineering Vol.27 No.10

Model similarity experiment is an effective method to predict the vibration response of track-box girder structure under complex working conditions. In this paper, the coupling similarity relationship between the layers of the multilayer structure is deduced theoretically. In addition, according to the elasticity similarity law and the π theorem, a track-box girder coupling vibration model with a 10:1 geometric similarity ratio was designed. The influence of parameters on the system similarity was further discussed, including the density and elastic modulus of track plate, the stiffness of fastener and CA mortar layer. Finally, a scale track-box girder model was built. Based on the modal test and finite element method, the model design and the similarity relation between prototype and model were verified. The results show that the scale model can be employed to forecast vibrations for an elevated track bridge, and the vibration level under different working conditions can be inverted from the model test results in model design. When the geometry size of a certain structural layer in the direction of load is much larger than that of the other structural layers, the similarity relation derived from the material properties of the structural layer is approximately equal to the similarity of the system between the prototype and the scale model.

Propagation characteristics of ultrasonic guided waves in tram rails

        Kui Sun,Hua-peng Chen,Qingsong Feng,Xiaoyan Lei 국제구조공학회 2020 Structural Engineering and Mechanics, An Int'l Jou Vol.75 No.4

Ultrasonic guided wave testing is a very promising non-destructive testing method for rails, which is of great significance for ensuring the safe operation of railways. On the basis of the semi-analytical finite element (SAFE) method, a analytical model of 59R2 grooved rail was proposed, which is commonly used in the ballastless track of modern tram. The dispersion curves of ultrasonic guided waves in free rail and supported rail were obtained. Sensitivity analysis was then undertaken to evaluate the effect of rail elastic modulus on the phase velocity and group velocity dispersion curves of ultrasonic guided waves. The optimal guided wave mode, optimal excitation point and excitation direction suitable for detecting rail integrity were identified by analyzing the frequency, number of modes, and mode shapes. A sinusoidal signal modulated by a Hanning window with a center frequency of 25 kHz was used as the excitation source, and the propagation characteristics of high-frequency ultrasonic guided waves in the rail were obtained. The results show that the rail pad has a relatively little influence on the dispersion curves of ultrasonic guided waves in the high frequency band, and has a relatively large influence on the dispersion curves of ultrasonic guided waves in the low frequency band below 4 kHz. The rail elastic modulus has significant influence on the phase velocity in the high frequency band, while the group velocity is greatly affected by the rail elastic modulus in the low frequency band.

        Yang Pu,Ju Yikun,Hu Yue,Xie Xiaoyan,Fang Bairong,Lei Lanjie 한국생체재료학회 2023 생체재료학회지 Vol.27 No.00

Plastic surgery is a discipline that uses surgical methods or tissue transplantation to repair, reconstruct and beautify the defects and deformities of human tissues and organs. Three-dimensional (3D) bioprinting has gained widespread attention because it enables fine customization of the implants in the patient's surgical area preoperatively while avoiding some of the adverse reactions and complications of traditional surgical approaches. In this paper, we review the recent research advances in the application of 3D bioprinting in plastic surgery. We first introduce the printing process and basic principles of 3D bioprinting technology, revealing the advantages and disadvantages of different bioprinting technologies. Then, we describe the currently available bioprinting materials, and dissect the rationale for special dynamic 3D bioprinting (4D bioprinting) that is achieved by varying the combination strategy of bioprinting materials. Later, we focus on the viable clinical applications and effects of 3D bioprinting in plastic surgery. Finally, we summarize and discuss the challenges and prospects for the application of 3D bioprinting in plastic surgery. We believe that this review can contribute to further development of 3D bioprinting in plastic surgery and provide lessons for related research. Graphical Abstract

Prediction of vibration and noise from steel/composite bridges based on receptance and statistical energy analysis

        Quanmin Liu,Linya Liu,Huapeng Chen,Yunlai Zhou,Xiaoyan Lei 국제구조공학회 2020 Steel and Composite Structures, An International J Vol.37 No.3

The noise from the elevated lines of rail transit has become a growing problem. This paper presents a new method for the rapid prediction of the structure-borne noise from steel or composite bridges, based on the receptance and Statistical Energy Analysis (SEA), which is essential to the study of the generation mechanism and the design of a low-noise bridge. First, the vertical track-bridge coupled vibration equations in the frequency domain are constructed by simplifying the rail and the bridge as an infinite Timoshenko beam and a finite Euler-Bernoulli beam respectively. Second, all wheel/rail forces acting upon the track are computed by taking a moving wheel-rail roughness spectrum as the excitation to the train-track-bridge system. The displacements of rail and bridge are obtained by substituting wheel/rail forces into the track-bridge coupled vibration equations, and all spring forces on the bridge are calculated by multiplying the stiffness by the deformation of each spring. Then, the input power to the bridge in the SEA model is derived from spring forces and the bridge receptance. The vibration response of the bridge is derived from the solution to the power balance equations of the bridge, and then the structure-borne noise from the bridge is obtained. Finally, a tri-span continuous steel-concrete composite bridge is taken as a numerical example, and the theoretical calculations in terms of the vibration and noise induced by a passing train agree well with the field measurements, verifying the method. The influence of various factors on wheel/rail and spring forces is investigated to simplify the train-track-bridge interaction calculation for predicting the vibration and noise from steel or composite bridges.

      • Effect of cation ratio and order on magnetic circular dichroism in the double perovskite Sr2Fe1+ <i> x </i>Re1- <i> x </i>O6

        Ho, Ping-Luen,Yu, Chu-Ping,Zhang, Qiqi,Song, Kyung,Buban, James P.,Choi, Si-Young,Dunin-Borkowski, Rafal E.,Mayer, Joachim,Tai, Nyan-Hwa,Zhu, Jing,Jin, Lei,Zhong, Xiaoyan Elsevier 2018 Ultramicroscopy Vol.193 No.-

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Superexchange-based magnetic coupling of the two <I>B</I>-site cations in rock-salt-ordered double perovskite oxides is extremely sensitive to the cation ratio and degree of order. However, as a result of the limited spatial resolution of most magnetic characterization techniques, it is challenging to establish a direct relationship between magnetic properties and structure in these materials, including the effects of elemental segregation and cation disorder. Here, we use electron energy-loss magnetic chiral dichroism together with aberration-corrected electron microscopy and spectroscopy to record magnetic circular dichroism (MCD) spectra at the nm scale, in combination with structural and chemical information at the atomic scale from the very same region. We study nanoscale phases in ordered Sr2[Fe][Re]O6, ordered Sr2[Fe][Fe1/5Re4/5]O6 and disordered Sr[Fe4/5Re1/5]O3 individually, in order to understand the role of cation ratio and order on local magnetic coupling. When compared with ordered Sr2[Fe][Re]O6, we find that antiferromagnetic Fe3+-O2−-Fe3+superexchange interactions arising from an excess of Fe suppress the MCD signal from Fe cations in ordered Sr2[Fe][Fe1/5Re4/5]O6, while dominant Fe3+-O2−-Fe3+antiferromagnetic coupling in disordered Sr[Fe4/5Re1/5]O3 leads to a decrease in MCD signal down to the noise level.
