        벼 생태학적 특성에 따른 등숙 및 이화학적 특성의 품종변이

        벼 생태형에 따른 NPT 4계통, 자포니카 4품종. 통일형 4품종. 인디카 4품종씩 각각 총 16품종을 이용하여 수상위치에 따라 상부일차지경(영화)립과 하부이차지경(영화)립으로 나누어 등숙 양상 및 이화학적 특성을 분석한 결과를 간단히 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 수상부위에 따른 등숙특성에서는 상부일차지경영화는 출수후 15일경까지는 계속 증가하다가 20일 이후는 급격히 떨어져 등숙후기에는 영화에 긴물 축적량이 매우 줄거나 감소하였으나 하부이차지경영화에서는 등숙초기에는 축직량이 크지않았으나 등숙후기까지 지속적으로 건물 축적이 계속되고, 특히 자포니카 품종군에서는 하부이차지경영화에서 후기등숙이 뚜렷했다. 2. 상부일차지경립과 하부이차지경립 모두 단백질함량은 NPT 품종군에서 자포니카. 인디카 및 통일형 품종군 보다 높아 고단백 품종육성에서 NPT 품종군의 활용가치가 인정되었다. 3. 아밀로스 함량은 NPT 초형의 품종이 자포니카, 인디카 및 통일형 품종군보다 유의성 있게 낮아 아밀로스함량을 떨어 떨리는데는 NPT혈통을 가진 품종을 활용함이 좋을 것으로 판단되었다. 4. 지방산함량은 인디카 품종군과 통일형 품종군이 NPT와 자포니카 품종군보다 상부일차지경립과 하부이차지경립 모두 높았으며, 분산도 높아 품종간에 변이의 폭이 뚜렷하였다. 5. 물리적 특성에서 헌미길이는 인디카 품종군이 가장 길었고 자포니카 품종군이 가장 짧았으며 두께는 NPT 품종군이 두껍게 나타나 생태형에 따른 품종군별로 물리적 특성이 뚜렷한 차이를 보였다. 6.수상위치에 따른 상부일차지경립과 하부이차지경립 모두 현미길이와 현미폭은 고도의 부의 상관이 있었고, 단백질함량은 이화학적 어떤 형질과도 상관이 없었으며 아밀로스 함량은 현미폭과 두께와는 고도의 부상관이 있으나 길이와는 유의성이 없었다. This study was aimed to get the classification of varietal variation in ripening and physico chemical properties of four rice ecotypes: (1) Japonica, (2) Indica, (3) Tongil type and (4) New Plant type. Sixteen cultivars consisting of 4 genotypes from each ecotype were selected. Two groups of spikelets from superior primary panicle branches and inferior secondary panicle branches were sampled and analyzed. The superior spikelets of primary panicle branches increased steadily the dry weight at 15 days after heading while decreased rapidly from 20 days after heading. On the contrary, the inferior spikelets of secondary panicle branches increased slowly dry weight at the late ripening stage. Especially, Japonica cultivars showed active ripening at late ripening stage. The new plant type had a higher protein content than the other ecotypes regardless the position of spikelets. Therefore, the new plant type seemed good germplasm sources for developing high protein cultivars. Amylose content of the new plant type was the lowest among 4 ecotypes. It was recommended to utilize this ecotype cultivars for breeding of low amylose variety. The genotypes of Indica and Tongil showed higher fatty acid content regardless the position of spikelets, as compared with the other two ecotypes. Also, varietal variance of fatty acid content was greater in those two ecotypes. The length of brown rice was the longest in Indica cultivars and the shortest in Japonica cultivars. The width of brown rice was the thickest in the new plant type cultivars. There was a significant difference in physical properties of brown rice among different ecotypes. And there was a negative correlation between length and width of brown rice regardless the position of spikelets. Fatty acid content of brown rice did not show any correlation with the other chemical properties. Amylose content had a high negative correlation between width or thickness of brown rice, while did not show any correlation with length of brown rice.

        정신분열병의 경과 중 발생하는 우울증

        연구목적 : 정신분열병을 음성증상군과 양성증상군으로 나누어 두 군 사이에 우울증이 차이가 있는지를 조사하고 정신분열별의 증상과 우울증과의 연관과 정신분열병의 경과 중 보이는 우울증사의 특징에 대해서 알아보고자 하였다. 방 법 : 중앙대학병원에 입원한 총 31명(남자 13명, 여자 18명)의 정신분열병 환자를 대상으로 PANSS, BDI, HDRS와 Simpson Angus Scale을 시행하였다. 결 과 : 1) BDI 21점 이상을 기준으로 했을 때, 정신분열병의 경과 중 우울증이 발생한 환자는 총 18%였으며, 양성증상군과 음성증상군 간에 차이는 없었다. 2) 양성증상군과 음성증상군 간에 BDI, HDRS 그리고 PANSS-D 등의 점수의 차이는 없었다. 3) 주관척도인 BDI와 객관척도인 HDRS와 PANSS-D 사이의 연관은 없었다. 결 론 : 정신분열병의 우울증은 양성증상이나 음성증상의 한 부분으로 생각하기보다는 또 다른 영역으로 받아들여야 할 것으로 보인다. 임상적으로 정신분열병에서 우울증은 발생되는 비율의 정도를 고려할 대 다른 증상과 더불어 집중적인 관심이 필요하며 이와 함께 우울증으로 인한 결과와 예후의 심각성을 고려할 때 우울증에 대한 인식 및 진단과 치료에 더 많은 진전이 있어야 한다. Objective : The heterogeneity of symptomatology within the group of schizophrenias is still a major obstacle for defining clinically useful subgroups of these disorders. One of these symptoms is depression. Recently there is a growing evidence suggesting that depressive symptoms and related mood disturbances are important in treating schizophrenia. This so because of the improvement of such side effects as extraphramidal symptoms with increasing use of atypical antipsychotics. Althought depression is known to be a serious problems of many schizophrenic patients, the nature and course of depression in schizophrenia remain unknown. Methods : The author examined the depressive features in 31 patients with schizophrenia. Rating on the PANSS, BDI and HDRS were obtained. Eighteen percent of the total patients had BDI score above 21, considered depressed. Results : There were no difference in BDI, hDRS and PANSS-D between positive symptoms group and negative synptom group. There was also no correlation between subject scale(BDI) and objective scales(HDRS, PANSS-D). Conclusions : Depression in schizophrenia needs intensive studies. It is also considered as another hereogeneous domain beside negative or positive symptom domain. Out of respect for the high prevalence and serious outcome of depression in schizophrenia, a more differentiated assessment, analysis, and treatment of depressive symptom is recommended.

        벼 생태학적 특성에 따른 수량관련 형질 및 생장해석관련형질의 품종변이

        벼 생태형에 따른 NPT 4계통, 자포니카 4품종, 통일형 4품종, 인디카 4품종씩 각각 총 16품종을 이용하여 수량구성요소, 작물학적 특성 및 생장해석관련형질의 특성을 분석한 결과를 간단히 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 생태형별 수량구성요소 특성을 기준으로 주성분을 분석 한 결과 제 1주성분은 유의성 있는 수당립수, 등숙율. 수량, 수확지수의 정보로 47.6%의 설명이 가능하였고. 제 3주성분까지 합하여 87.7%의 설명이 가능하였으며. 제 2주성분으로는 천립중과 수확지수의 설명이 가능하였으며. 제 3성분에는 주당 이삭수가 관여하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 2. 생육시기에 따른 SPAD 치의 변화에 있어 NPT의 SPAD 치가 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 인디카는 다른 생태형에 비하여 낮은 것으로 밝혀졌다 이는 인디카 품종군은 생육에 있어 다른 생태형보다 빨리 정지하는 것으로 추정되었다. 3. 단위엽건중당엽면적에 있어서는 인디카가 79.953㎠/g으로 가장 컸으며, 이앙 후 30일에서 이앙 후 90일 사이의 개체군 생장율은 통일형이 1.282g/㎠/ay로서 가장 컸으며, NPT가 0.832g/㎠/day로서 가장 낮았다. 상대생장율은 NPT가 0.057g/g/day로 가장 높은 증가량을 보였으며, 또한 NAR은 인디카가 0.319g/㎠/day로 가장 높은 건물증가속도를 나타내었다. This experiment was carried out to get the basis information regarding the growth analysis and agronomic characters for the 16 rice cultivars composed by the NPT (4) Japonica type (4) Indica type (4) and Tongil type (4). The first principal component was related to the number of kernels per panicle, ripened grain ratio, grain yield and harvest index by the principal component analysis based on the yield component characters. And the first principal component explains 47.6% of total informations. 87.7% of the total informations were able to explain up to the third principal components. The second principal component was related to the 1000 grain weight and harvest index and the number of panicles per hill. The cultivars belonged to the NPT showed the higher SPAD value compared to the other ecological groups, otherwise the Indica group showed relatively lower SPAD value than other groups. The Indica group showed higher specific leaf area, 79.935 ㎠/g compared to the other ecological groups. The Tongil type revealed higher crop growth ratio, 1.282 g/㎠/day, however new plant type showed lower crop growth ratio 0.832 g/㎠/day from 30 days after transplant to the 90 days after transplant. The relative growth ratio showed higher at the new plant type, 0.057 g/g/day. and the net assimilation ratio showed higher at the Indica type, 0.319g/㎠/day.

      • 과일과피로부터 폴리페놀 분리에 따른 생리기능연구

        Biological activities and anticarcinogenicity of Korean Pear peel were investigated. Electron donating activity and superoxide dismutase(SOD)-like activity of fraction Ⅱ, Ⅲ were up to 90% and 50-60% at 50ppm, respectively. Inhibitory effects on xanthine oxidase were about 80% at 50ppm, breast adenocarcinoma was about 60% at 2,000 ppm, higher Ⅲ than Ⅱ. Inhibitory effect on prostate adenocarcinoma was about 23% at 500 ppm. In conclusion, Korean Pear peel was expected to use as a functional material.

        Biological activities and application of sanguisorbae officinalis L. were investigated. In the enzymological physiological activities, the electron donating ability(EDA) was 54.92% in 10 ppm and it was over 90% over 50ppm and SOD-like activity was high as 65.36% in 1000 ppm, it was gradual increased. As inhibitory effect of xanthine oxidase, it was 17.90% in 200 ppm and a little low as 36.89% in 500 ppm and inhibitory effect of tyrosinase, it was a little low as 20.45% below 1000 ppm. As the result of measuring the lipid oxidation, all the concentrations of medical ion treatments had the ability to keep it from acidification and metal ion blocking effects about the lipid oxidation promoting factors(Fe^(2+) and Cu^(2+)), Fe^(2+) was better than Cu^(2+) and all concentrations of medical ion treatments was 40% in 50ppm. When it was applied into normal skin-softener it showed safe effect so that we can expect that as the natural material of cosmetics.

        von Willebrand's disease (vWD) is the most common autosomal-dominant inherited disorder resulting from a quantitative or a qualitative defect of von Willebrand factor (vWF). The most diagnostic pattern is the combination of a prolonged bleeding time, a reduction in plasma vWF concentration, a parallel reduction in ristocetin cofactor activity, and reduced factor Ⅷ activity, In this case, ristocetin-induced platelet aggregation data were compatible with that of vWD. Bleeding times were prolonged over 4 minutes, vWF antigen levels were 45%. vWF ristocetin cofactor activities were 0~1% and factor Ⅷ levels were 31%, when compared to the normal control. We report the case of a family with vWD. characterized by a quantitative defect in vWF

        The prevalence of PPNG among pretreated gonorrhea cases isolated at the STD clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul has been studied and reported annually since 1981. In 1991, 123 strains of N.gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 58(47.1%) were PPNG. In 1992, 98 starains of N.gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 51(52.0%) were PPNG. In all, 109(49.3%) strains were found to be PPNG among 221 strains isolated between 1991-1992. The prevalence of PPNG in Seoul showed increased tendency till 1989, thereafter, it has been stationary or slightly decreasing.

        水稻品種의 二面交雜에 의한 量的形質의 遺傳分析 Ⅰ. 자포니카 水稻品種의 雜種强勢 및 主要形質間의 相關

        This work has been performed to get the useful informations regarding the degree of heterosis and correlations between quantitative characters related to sink and source in Japonica rice varieties. Heterosis for days to flowering in F1 generation was mostly significant to late maturing, however, cross combination in which Ishiokamochi 7 crossed with Shin # 2 showed hetersois for days to flowering to early maturing. Degree of heterosis for culm length in F1 was greater than that of in F2 generation and the direction of heterosis and heterobeltiosis was tall culm length in case of cross combination in which Ishiokamochi 7 crossed with Samnambyeo. Almost all F1 generation in which had Ishiokamochi 7 as parent showed high heterosis for the number of panicles, 1000 grain weight and number of spikelets per panicle. Degree of heterosis to the productivity score in F₁, generation mostly showed high and positive direction. Significant positive heterosis and heterobeltiosis for leaf area index was found in the cross combination involved Ishiokamochi 7, Shin # 2 and Samnambyeo as their parent. In general, genotypic correlation coefficient was higher than environmental correlation coefficient and characters such as 1000 grain weight, number of spikelets per panicle and productivity score showed highly significant genotypic correlation with yield. The genotypic, phenotypic and environmental correlation coefficients between dry matter and harvest index in F1 generation showed highly negative significant. Significant positive genotypic and phenotypic correlation were found for crop growth rate and relative growth rate.
