This study aims at finding a effect of various position and length of laminar tear on vibrational characteristics on beam including shear deformation. General solution for nonlaminar tear and laminar tear regions are first established. Recurrence equations relating integration constants for adjacent interior regions are established by satisfying continuity conditions at junctions of interior region. The frequency determinant is then obtained by satisfying contiuity conditions at junction between end region and interior regions immediately next to the end region. Numerical results are compared for experimental and references results.
ZnSe 단결정에 대한 열자극 발광과 열자극 전류의 동시측정

두 종류의 ZnSe 분말을 사용하여 sublimation 방법으로 성장한 ZnSe 단결정(as grown)에 대하여 TSC와 TSL을 동시 측정하였으며, PL과 DLTS를 측정하였다. PL 측정으로 I_1, I_2와 DAP 발광을 관측하였으며 DLTS에 의한 깊은준위를 관측하였다. TSL과 TSC의 동시 측정으로부터 얻은 그로우 곡선을 점근 해법으로 분해하여 세개의 준위를 얻었으며 그들의 활성화에너지값은 0.22 eV, 0.30 eV, 0.39 eV이었다. PL spectrum과 열자극 완화과정의 동시 측정 결과로부터 0.22 eV 근방에 impurity에 의한 주게준위와 native defect에 의한 받게준위가 각각 전도대의 아래와 가전자대의 위에 존재하는 것으로 판명되었다. DLTS 측정과 동시측정 결과로부터 0.30 eV와 0.39 eV의 준위는 V_se vacancy와 관련되는 주게 준위임을 알았다. Simultaneous measurements of TSL were carried out on ZnSe single crystals grown by high pressure Bridgman technique and the PL and DLTS signals were observed. Photoluminescence spectrum at 10 K on the ZnSe crystal reveals I_1 and I_2 lines, as well as DAP emission line. DLTS spectrum on the ZnSe crystal show electron trap at 0.33 eV. Two TSC and TSL peaks were observed near 215 K and 230 K, which are identified as having originated from two donor trap levels at 0.30 eV and 0.39 eV, respectively, below the bottom of the conduction band. We also observed single TSL and TSC peaks at 150 K which were identified as having originated from a donor and acceptor trap levels at about 0.22 eV below the conduction band and over the top of the valence band, respectively.

Objectives: Under the fee-for-service system, Korean hospitals have been suffering from the worsening profitability caused by law medical care fees. To overcome the difficulties, they have maximized the quantity of medical services and made relatively large investment in developing new medical services using high-priced medical equipment, medicines and medical supplies which were not covered by medical insurance system rather than reduced running costs. Materials and Methods: This study was made to analyze and forecast the revenue change of the department of Obstetrics and gynecology of an university hospital in Seoul, expecting the implementation of DRG system in 2000. Results: The results were as follows : 1.During the first two days of hospitalization. 41% of total medical service fee was occurred, which was thought that most of the check-ups and operations were made during this period. After two days of hospitalization, the new occurrence of medical service fee tended to reduce. 2.Out of total medical service fee, 67% of admission fee was occurred after 5 days of hospitalization. This was because medical service fees in obstetrics and gynecology department occurred during the first 5 days of hospitalization. 3.Out of fees for operation, treatment, medical supplies and blood transfusion. 71% was occurred during the first two days. 4. In case of fees for examination, 50% was occurred during the first two days. 5.A total of 53% of fees for medication and injection was occurred during the first 5 days. Conclusions: By the implementation of the DRG system, the income is forecast to increase by 800 won to 310,000 won by the disease group of obstetrics and gynecology department. To increase hospital income with the implementation of DRG system, the results of this study suggest that examinations should be done at out-patient departments before the hospitalization of patient, the discharge of patient should be noticed in advance to reduce the period of hospitalization, and admission appointment system should be implemented for the immediate operation and delivery.

Gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) is the most common non-epithelial neoplasm arising in the gastrointestinal tract, but this tumor is rarely seen in association with type l neurofibromatosis (NFl) Generally, the majority of GISTs are isolated neoplasm and they are sporadically found in the stomach, but the GISTs in NFl patients are usually multiple and usually found in the small intestine. We report a case of multiple GISTs in the jejunum of a 63-year-old woman diagnosed as NFl accompanied by complication of gastrointestinal bleeding, In this case, Patient had multiple cafe-au lait spots and neurofibroma on skin and had freckling on axilla and groin, and then, we made a diagnosis of NFl. Gastrointestinal bleeding is controlled by resection of multiple GISTs. Generally, only 3-5% of all gastrointestinal bleeding comes from the small bowel. Causes of small intestinal bleeding are angiodysplasia, neoplasm, NSAIDs induced ulcer etc. but, If patients have NFl accompanied by complication of gastrointestinal bleeding, GISTs on small bowel must be considered.

수송물질로 요오드를 사용하여 기상 수송방법으로 ZnSe 단결저을 성장 하였다. 성장부분과 시료부분의 온도는 각각 815℃와 1065℃로 하였다. Van-der Pauw방법으로 측정된 전하농도와 Hall 운동도는 실온에서 각각 ?? ??,??/v-s order 정도 이었다. 성장된 sample의 PL방출 스펙트럼은 실온에서 520nm의 peak를 이루었으며 Lambe-Klick모델에 따르는 green 발광으로 분석 되었다. Crytal growth of zinc selenide by vapour phase transport method was carried out using iodine as a transporting agent in a sealed ampoule kept oat temperatures of 815℃ and 1065℃ for the growth part and source part, respectively. The electron carrier concentration and Hall mobility were measured of using Van der Pauw method at room temperature and their values are about ∼?? ?? and about ∼??/v-s, respectively. Photoluminescence emission spectra of the grown sample were peaked at 520nm at room temperature.
NaCrO<sub>2</sub> cathode for high-rate sodium-ion batteries

<P>Sodium-ion batteries offer a potential alternative or complementary system to lithium-ion batteries, which are widely used in many applications. For this purpose, layered O3-type NaCrO<SUB>2</SUB> for use as a cathode material in sodium-ion batteries was synthesized <I>via</I> an emulsion-drying method. The produced NaCrO<SUB>2</SUB> was modified using pitch as a carbon source and the products were tested in half and full cells using a NaPF<SUB>6</SUB>-based non-aqueous electrolyte solution. The carbon-coated NaCrO<SUB>2</SUB> cathode material exhibits excellent capacity retention with superior rate capability up to a rate of 150 C (99 mA h (g oxide)<SUP>−1</SUP>), which corresponds to full discharge during 27 s. The surface conducting carbon layer plays a critically important role in the excellent performance of this cathode material. We confirmed the reaction process with sodium using X-ray diffraction and X-ray absorption spectroscopy. Thermal analysis using time-resolved X-ray diffraction also demonstrated the structural stability of carbon-coated Na<SUB>0.5</SUB>CrO<SUB>2</SUB>. Due to the excellent performance of the cathode material described herein, this study has the potential to promote the accelerated development of sodium-ion batteries for a large number of applications.</P> <P>Graphic Abstract</P><P>Carbon-coated NaCrO<SUB>2</SUB> synthesized <I>via</I> an emulsion method exhibits excellent cyclability and ultrafast rate capability up to a rate of 150 C, demonstrating ideal properties for advanced sodium-ion batteries. <IMG SRC='http://pubs.rsc.org/services/images/RSCpubs.ePlatform.Service.FreeContent.ImageService.svc/ImageService/image/GA?id=c5ee00695c'> </P>
