재발한 지주막하 포도낭미충증의 Albendazole 치험 1예

뇌실이나 뇌기조에 발생하는 포도낭미충증은 매우 드물며 유구조충 유충의 머리부분이 변성되면서 발생하는 낭성 막의 비정상적인 성장을 특징으로 한다. 이러한 유형의 병변은 지름술 후에도 진행적인 경과를 보이며 아직까지 항기생충제를 이용한 치료 사례들이 적고, 따라서 가장 적절한 치료 기간도 알려져 있지 않다. 본 증례 보고는 재발한 실비우스 틈새의 포도낭미충증 환자에서 4주간의 albendazole과 스테로이드로 효과적으로 치료하였던 예이다. 환자는 praziquantel과 뇌복막지름술로 치료를 받고도 포도상의 뇌실질외형의 병변이 악화되어, 뇌척수액 투과가 좋은 것으로 알려진 albendazole로 치료제를 바꾼 뒤 병변의 수와 크기가 감소였으며 이후 2년 간의 추척기간동안 다른 발작 없이 잘 지내고 있다. 지주막하의 포도낭미충증은 albendazole과 corticosteroid 치료에 잘 반응하는 것으로 보인다. The so-called racemose cysticercosis, a rare variety of neurocysticercosis occurring in ventricles or basal cisterns, is characterized by abnormal growth of cystic membranes with degeneration of Taenia solium heads (scolex). Although lesions of this type are known to follow a progressive course even after ventricular shunting, there are limitations of case series treated with antiparasitic drugs, and the optimal duration of the treatment is not yet known. We report a case of relapsed racemose cysticercosis in the Sylvian fissure, who has been successfully treated with albendazole and adjunct corticosteroid for 4 weeks. The patient had been previously treated with praziquantel and ventricul-operitoneal shunt, and maintained on the anticonvulsant drug for one year, but returned to the hospital due to seizure recurrence. The patient has been well in seizure-free state for the follow-up 2 years after albendazole therapy. The subarachnoid racemose cysticercosis seems to respond well to treatment of corticosteroid along with prolonged albendazole.

A ten months old, female Yorkshire terrier weighing 2.88 kg referred to veterinary teaching hospital of college of veterinary medicine, Konkuk University because of syncope, cough and dyspnea. First hematological and serum chemical test revealed thrombocytopenia, mild anemia, and increase of concentration of ALP (195 U/L). On 57 days later, second hematological and serum chemical test revealed polycythemia, increase of concentration of ALP (211 U/L), and Tchol (387 mg/dl). Right atrium enlargement, main pulmonary artery bulge and cardiomegaly (VHS = 11.5) were observed in radiographic findings. Ultrasonographic images showed both right and left ventricular dilation and turbulent flow between the descending aorta and the main pulmonary artery in color Doppler imaging. ECG showed left ventricular enlargement, SA block, and electrical alternant. Thoracotomy was performed through left fourth intercostal incision under isoflurane anesthesia. Patent ductus arteriosus was double ligated with 1-0 silk. Cough and dyspnea disappeared on 5 days after operation. Turbulent flow was not found in color doppler imaging of ultrasonography on 10 days after operation. Ten months later after the operation, syncope could not exist any more.
Si Bulk Micromachining을 위한 Wafer Rolling Etching 및 그 특성

A wafer rolling etching system for the silicon bulk micromachining has been designed and fabricated. The silicon diaphragms were anisotropically etched in a 24.5 weight percent KOH solution. Compared to the conventional KOH etching systems, pyramidal hillocks, and wave-shaped structures on the etched surfaces were greatly reduced by using this system. After etching for time of 438 minutes, the average etched depth and the etch-rate were measured to be 537μm and 1.22μm/min, respectively. The average etching uniformity of etching depth was 0.87% in 5-inch wafer. Our results showed that the wafer rolling method enhanced etch uniformity and etch rate.

선원들은 '배'라는 한정된 생활공간에서 공동생활을 하면서 선원만의 특수한 생활형태를 형성하고 있다. 즉 선원근로자들은 선상작업을 통하여 통일적이고 협동적인 과업수행을 요구 받으며, 바다라는 고립적 환경에서 장기간 단조로운 집단생활로 인하여 상당한 스트레스에 노출되어 있을 것으로 예상된다. 또한 선내의 환경은 운항에 따른 높은 수준의 소음과 선체의 동요, 한랭과 폭염, 습도 등에 노출되어 있으며, 장시간 격리된 채 바다에서 생활함으로써 가족, 친구 등과의 교류의 기회가 제약됨으로써 이러한 요인들 또한 스트레스로 작용할 가능성이 높은 직업군이다. 본 연구에서는 선상환경에서 선원들의 스트레스 요인과 그 대처방안을 모색하고자 그 기초조사로써 선원근로자의 직무스트레스와 직무 만족도 조사를 실시하였다.
Hygrolansamycins A-D, O-Heterocyclic Macrolides from Streptomyces sp. KCB17JA11

Six ansamycin derivatives were isolated from the culture broth of Streptomyces sp. KCB17JA11, including four new hygrolansamycins A-D (1-4) and known congeners divergolide O (5) and hygrocin C (6). Compounds 1-5 featured an unusual six-membered O-heterocyclic moiety. The isolation workflow was guided by a Molecular Networking-based dereplication strategy. The structures of 1-4 were elucidated using NMR and HRESIMS experiments, and the absolute configuration was established by the Mosher’s method. Compound 2 exhibited mild cytotoxicity against five cancer cell lines with IC<sub>50</sub> values ranging from 24.60 ± 3.37 μM to 49.93 ± 4.52 μM.
An Ergonomic Approach for Optimized Layout of Training Ship’s Bridge

To propose an ergonomic layout on the bridge, this study conducted a usability evaluation on the on-bridge navigational equipment of a college training ship that is in use at present. Through the usability evaluation on the training ship navigators, the possibility of operational errors with navigational equipment, the possibility of readout errors with display devices and even the effect of navigational equipment on navigation were evaluated beyond the scope of existing layouts, which adopt only the importance and usage frequency of navigational equipment. By taking ergonomic variables into consideration, this study suggested an optimized layout for on-bridge navigational equipment using a mathematical programming model.
A preliminary study on usability evaluation of the navigational equipment in ship handling simulator

Objective: This study is to analyze the use of the navigational equipment usage frequency and pattern using ship simulator under certain circumstances. Background: Usability Evaluation of navigational equipment is very broad. Navigational equipment in the form of a single device is not being used in the actual sailing conditions. The entire mission system usability evaluation should be considered as an important factor rather than individual. It is possible to analyze the characteristics of sailors" attention and cognitive process using eye tracking system. Method: Ten participants took part in this study, and simulation test was performed. Target area is Pusan north port. Subjects were requested to evaluate the navigational equipment in the simulator. Results: According to the usage rate analysis, the result shows similar pattern between expert group and novice group. However, the expert group used the radar equipment frequently. Conclusion: It is possible to evaluate the navigational equipment using eye tracking. Future study will be performed using improved scenarios and the navigational equipment on the simulator usability evaluation. Application: This study will contribute to the education and training of ship handling simulator system.

<P>A chemical investigation of a culture extract from a soil-derived <I>Streptomyces</I> sp. RK88-1441 led to the isolation and characterization of two new glycosylated anthraquinones, aturanosides A (<B>1</B>) and B (<B>2</B>), and a new anthraquinone derivative, aturanocin (<B>3</B>). The structures of these compounds were elucidated by detailed NMR and MS spectroscopic analyses. The absolute configurations of the sugar units, based on the magnitudes of the coupling constants, ROESY correlations, and chemical derivatization, from <B>1</B> and <B>2</B> are 6-<I>O</I>-[<I>N</I>-acetyl-α-<SMALL>D</SMALL>-glucosamino-(1→2)-α-<SMALL>L</SMALL>-rhamnoside] and 6-<I>O</I>-α-<SMALL>L</SMALL>-rhamnoside, respectively. Compounds <B>1</B> and <B>2</B> showed no cytotoxicity against human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs), but significantly suppressed vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)-induced tube formation and invasion of HUVECs. The down-regulation of both the phosphorylation of VEGF receptor 2 and the expression of vascular endothelial cadherin at the protein level were also observed.</P> [FIG OMISSION]</BR>
