        인터넷 사용자의 급속한 증가와 전자 상거래의 발달로 신뢰성, 보안성, 확장성, 유연성 등의 기본적인 요구 사항 뿐 아니라 멀티미디어 응용 서비스에 대한 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 멀티미디어 컴퓨팅과 커뮤니케이션은 네트워크, 통신망, 오퍼레이팅 시스템에서 다양한 메커니즘을 필요로 한다. 대규모 분산 환경에서 QoS는 Video-on-Demand, News-On-Demand 등의 단일 매체에 대한 서비스와는 다르게 응용 매체에 대한 우선 순위 부여 및 상호 협력 구조적 서비스 및 MPEG 비디오 서비스와 같은 멀티미디어 응용 서비스에 대한 지원 능력을 요구하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷을 기반으로 대단위 분산 시스템 환경에서 QoS를 지원하기 위한 통합적 QoS 프레임워크로 E-QoS 모델을 설계하였으며, 향후 이를 바탕으로 한 세부 메커니즘의 설계 방향을 제시하였다. The huge Internet and electronic commerce shall be provided not only basic requirements of reliability, security extendibility, flexibility but also adaptive application service of multimedia data. There are required a lot of mechanism for network, operating system in multimedia computing and communication. In large distributed computing, QoS shall be provided a priority allocation service and an interactive infrastructure service as like not single media service of Video-on-Demand, and News-on-Demand but multimedia application service of MPEG video service. In this paper, supporting large distributed computing based on Internet, we propose a E-QoS Model as Integrated QoS Framework, and propose a direction of design for specific mechanism in the future works.

        중학교 가정과 '인간발달과 가족관계' 영역의 교육자료 (CD-Rom) 개발 및 현장 적용 연구 : 실천적 추론 수업을 중심으로

        The purpose of this study is to develop lesson plans. teaching guide, and teaching materials applying practical reasoning teaching model in the area of 'human development and family relationship' in middle school home economics. The practical reasoning teaching model consists of five factors: Desired results, Awareness of context. Alternative approaches, Consequences of action, and Action. This study based on practical reasoning has following process: Curriculum development, Developing lesson plan. teaching material, and teaching guide. Experimental teaching and evaluation, Feedback, Production of CD-Rom. Teaching guide includes lesson Plan. workbook, multimedia materials and teaching resources, Especially teaching guide in CD-Rom can be used effectively in the actual teaching. In the classroom, this teaching model accomplished active and interesting Participation of teachers and students. It is proposed that practical reasoning teaching model should be applied to other areas of home economics. In addition, various teaching materials based on Practical reasoning need to be developed.

        Integrated analysis of microRNA and mRNA expressions in peripheral blood leukocytes of Warmblood horses before and after exercise

        Exercise capacity is a valuable trait in horses, and it has been used as a horse selection criterion. Although exercise affects molecular homeostasis and adaptation in horses, the mechanisms underlying these effects are not fully described. This study was carried out to identify changes in the blood profiles of microRNAs (miRNAs) and mRNAs induced by exercise in horse leukocytes. Total RNAs isolated from the peripheral blood leukocytes of four Warmblood horses before and after exercise were subjected to next-generation sequencing (NGS) and microarray analyses to determine the miRNA and mRNA expression profiles, respectively. The expressions of 6 miRNAs, including 4 known and 2 novel miRNAs, were altered by exercise. The predicted target genes of the differentially expressed miRNAs identified by NGS were matched to the exercise-induced mRNAs determined by microarray analysis. Five genes (LOC100050849, LOC100054517, KHDRBS3, LOC100053996, and LOC100062720) from the microarray analysis were matched to the predicted target genes of the 6 miRNAs. The subset of mRNAs and miRNAs affected by exercise in peripheral blood leukocytes may be useful in elucidating the molecular mechanisms of exercise-associated physiology in horses.

        우리나라 지역 직업성질환 감시체계의 현황과 전망

        기존의 특수건강진단과 작업환경측정을 통한 직업병 관리가 진폐증, 소음성난청 등의 소수 특정질환에 국한되고 실제 직업병 발생 규모 파악이나 신종 직업병의 발견에 한계를 보인다는 사실은 산업의학전문가들 사이에서도 공감을 이루고 있다. 미국과 영국 등에서의 직업성질환 감시체계에 대한 경험은 우리 나라의 직업성질환 감시체계 구축에도 새로운 자극제가 되면서, 1998년이후 인천, 대전, 여천, 구미, 부울경 지역에서 지역 직업성질환감시체계를 산업보건관리의 중요한 시스템으로 구축하려는 노력이 확산되고 있다. 새로이 구축되어지는 이들 지역 직업성질환 감시체계는 감시하고자 하는 대상질환, 활용 가능한 인적자원 및 자료원, 지역 의료체계의 특수성 등에 따라서 목적과 방법을 달리하면서 독특한 형태로 발전을 하고 있다. 각 지역단위 감시체계들이 그 상황에 맞게 독특한 목적과 전략들을 발전 시키면서도, 향후 발전할 국가적인 차원의 직업성질환 감시체계 구축을 위하여 직업성질환 감시의 기본 전략 등을 공유하는 등의 노력이 필요하다. 환례 정의 및 기본적인 등록 서식의 공유, 직업성질환 감시 자료원의 발굴, 공동의 정보 네트워크 및 직업성질환 감시 데이터베이스 구축 등 직업성질환 감시활동을 지원하기 위한 여러 기초 인프라 구축에 힘을 모아야 할 것이다. 우리 나라에서 직업성질환 감시체계를 성공적으로 구축하기 위해서는 수집된 자료의 질 관리를 위한 직업성질환 감시의 원칙 제정과 감시 전략의 공유 등이 필요하며, 전국적인 직업성질환 감시체계의 하부구조라고 할 수 있는 지역감시체계의 기초 토대 마련과 강화작업이 절실하게 필요하다.

        남부지역 소형 관개용 못들에서의(둠벙) 동물플랑크톤 군집특성 조사 및 평가

        This study demonstrates the investigation of zooplankton communities (e.g. rotifers, cladocerans and copepods) and environmentally related driving factors (e.g. elevation, area size, water depth, types of dike construction, and bottom substrates). We hypothesized that zooplankton community structure and composition would be influenced by ambient driving forces in different scales of the irrigation ponds (Dumbeong). A total of 66 zooplankton species/groups (56 rotifers, 9 cladocerans, 1 copepods) were found and identified at 45 Dumbeong of Goseong region (i.e. Goseong-gun) in 2011. The rotifers occupied 84.9% of the total zooplankton abundance. We could categorize a clear separation of zooplankton communities into 4 different patterns based on cluster analysis. Zooplankton diversities in Dumbeongs were lower than those in natural ponds or wetlands. In addition, community structure of zooplankton was also simpler and had a broken stick distribution based on SHE analysis. Species composition in each Dumbeong was not significantly discriminated each other. The result of canonical correspondence analysis (CCA) pinpointed that significant influential variables upon zooplankton community were dissolved oxygen percent saturation, pH, and Dumbeong`s material. This study indicated that morphological type of the Dumbeong and its water quality could determine the community structure of zooplankton. Furthermore, the connectivity between ambient habitats and materials could be necessary to be rigorously considered in respect to producing the Dumbeongs to subsidize alternative habitats for wetland ecosystem in freshwater landscape.

        Anti-Cancer Activity of T-Type Calcium Channel Blocker In Vivo

        3,4-Dihydroquinazoline 1 as T-type calcium channel blocker was in vivo evaluated against A549 xenograft in BALB/c-nu Slc mice, which exhibited 54% tumor growth inhibition through oral administration of 8 mg/kg of body weight and was slightly less active than doxorubicin (68%). In addition, this compound was also profiled for its acute toxicity to ICR mice to afford oral $LD_{50}$ value of 1,038 mg/kg of body weight.

        낙동강 수계의 수질오염총량 자료를 이용한 비모수적 수질추세 분석

        We were interested in the long-term temporal and spatial variability trends of water quality. Trend tests, such as the Seasonal and Regional Kendall tests and LOWESS (LOcally WEighted Scatter-plot Smoother), have been recommended as outstanding tools for trend detection. In this study, we conducted four types of nonparametric trend tests (Seasonal and Regional Kendall tests, LOWESS, and flow-adjusted Seasonal Kendall). We aimed to identify water quality trends using the monthly data for five variables (BOD, COD, TN, TP, and flow) collected from 24 sites in the Nakdong River from August 2004 to December 2013. According to the Regional Kendall test, BOD, COD, and TN increased but TP decreased trend. The Seasonal Kendall test showed that BOD, TN, and TP remained constant at 62.5-83.3% of the sites. COD remained constant at 58.3% of the sites. LOWESS showed that TP gradually increased between 2007 and 2008, then decreased slowly at the Gumi, Geumhogang6, Daeam-1 and Milyanggang3 sites. BOD increased slightly between 2008 and 2009, and then decreased slowly at the Namgang4-1 site. Lastly, a flow-adjusted Seasonal Kendall test was conducted. There were different results from the Seasonal Kendall and flow-adjusted Seasonal Kendall tests at 11 of the 24 sites. According to the results from six of the eleven sites, BOD increased at one site, showed no trends at three sites, and decreased at two sites. Each of COD, TN increased at two, and one site. but TP decreased at two sites.

        The subacute toxicity was investigated in Sprague-Dawley rats orally treated with KDRD-010 at the doses of 0.056, 0.28, and 1.4 g/㎏ for one month. There were no clinical signs and pathological changes compared with control group. Body weights were not significantly changed between control and treatment groups. In hematological and biochemical serum parameters, all mean values appear to be within the normal range. In pathological examinations, hemorrhages of lung was observed in one male rat at low dose group and one female rat at high dose group of KDRD-010, but it was not considered to be caused by KDRD-010. These results suggest that KDRD-010 dose not induce any significant subacute oral toxicities in Sprague-Dawley rats.

        수정체유화장치의 초음파 출력속도 및 자동막힘감지 기능 향상의 술 후 임상결과 비교

        목적: 최근 펌프조절장치와 발판의 반응속도가 빨라지고 자동막힘감지(automatic occlusion sensing) 기능이 향상되어 수술 중 흡입력과 절단력을 향상시킨 수정체유화장치가 소개된 바 있다. 본 연구에서는 수정체유화술 시행 중 여러 매개변수를 비교하여 기기의 반응속도 향상과 자동막힘감지 기능이 수정체유화술의 임상결과에 미치는 영향을 비교하고자 하였다. 대상과 방법: 단일 술자에게 수정체유화술을 시행받은 68명의 백내장 환자, 총 80안이 본 연구에 포함되었다. 기존의 기기(WhiteStar Signature?? system)를 사용하여 초음파유화술을 시행한 40안을 대조군으로 하였으며, 반응속도 향상 및 자동막힘감지 기능 효과를 분석하기 위해서 향상된 기기(WhiteStar Signature?? PRO system)를 사용하여 초음파유화술을 시행한 40안을 실험군으로 정하였다. 두 군 모두에서 수술 중 parameter of effective phaco time with a specific coefficient for the transversal movement expressed in seconds (EFX), 총 초음파 사용시간(ultrasound time), 유효 초음파 사용시간(effective phaco time, EPT), 평균 초음파 출력(average phaco power, AVG) 및 평형염액 사용량을 확인하였고 수술 전후 중심각막두께(central corneal thickness)를 확인하여 수술 전후의 상관관계를 독립표본검정을 통하여 분석하였다. 결과: 두 군의 비교에서 수정체혼탁도와 상관없이 Signature PRO?? system에서 수술 중 적은 EFX (p<0.001), 짧은 유효 초음파 사용시간(EPT, p<0.001), 작은 평균 초음파 출력(AVG, p<0.001)을 사용함을 확인하였다. 수술 후 중심각막두께는 양 군에서 차이가 없었다. 결론: 수정체유화술을 시행함에 있어 기기의 반응속도 향상 및 자동막힘감지 기능은 수술 중 수정체 핵의 흡입력과 절단력을 높이면서도 전방을 안정적으로 유지할 수 있도록 하여 유의하게 짧은 시간 동안 적은 초음파 출력을 사용하면서 효율적인 수술이 가능하게 함을 확인하였다. Purpose: A recently introduced phacoemulsification system, the WhiteStar Signature?? PRO, has demonstrated improved nucleus followability and cutting efficiency via an improved pump regulator with a higher reaction response and an automatic occlusion sensing system. In this study, we compared various phacoemulsification parameters between the new system and an older version of the device. Methods: A total of 80 eyes of 68 patients with cataracts who had undergone phacoemulsification by a single surgeon were included in this study. Forty eyes of patients underwent phacoemulsification using the older Signature?? system (WhiteStar); these patients were classified as the control group. Another 40 eyes of patients underwent phacoemulsification with the newer enhanced system, the WhiteStar Signature?? PRO; these patients were assigned to the experimental group. During the operation, operative parameters, including the effective phaco time (parameter of effective phaco time with a specific coefficient for the transversal movement expressed in seconds, EFX), ultrasound time (seconds [s]), effective phacoemulsification time (EPT, s), average phacoemulsification power (AVG, %), and balanced salt solution usage, were measured to determine the performance enhancement offered by the updated system. Central corneal thickness was measured before and after surgery to compare corneal edema. The relationships between the two groups were analyzed using an independent t-test. Results: The Signature PRO?? system showed a lower EFX (p < 0.001), a shorter EPT (p < 0.001), and a smaller AVG (p < 0.001). Postoperative corneal thickness did not differ significantly between the two groups. Conclusions: Comparing the efficacy of the improved reaction speed of the device and automatic occlusion sensing system in performing phacoemulsification, the updated Signature PRO?? system demonstrated superior followability and cutting efficiency regardless of nuclear cataract hardness.
