      • Tropane Spirohydantoin들의 합성 및 구조분석

        The tropane ring system is an important substructure in a number of natural products and synthetic compounds of biological and medicinal importance. As a result of the significance of the tropane ring system, the purpose of this study is the synthesis of anticonvulsant compounds of new s tructure anticipated anticonvulsant activity. After we first synthesized the various N-substituted nortropinone derivatives, we prepared new nortropane alkaloids and nortropinone derivatives. Substantially, we tried several experiments to optimize reaction condition. The tropane spirohydantoins 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 were respectively synthesized by the treatment of corresponding N-substituted nortropinone with potassium cyanide and ammonium carbonate.

        Castleman 씨 병에 동반된 신유전분증

        Castlemam's disease is an asymptomatic and benign lymph node hyperplasia which is frequently manifested as mediastinal mass in over 70% of cases. Amyloidosis is rarely associated with Castleman's disease. Recently we experienced a patient with nephrotic syndrome due to renal amyloidosis who had been previously diagnosed as Castleman's disease of retroperitoneal lymph node enlargement. A 47-year old woman was admitted because of generalized edema and chest tightness. Five months ago she diagnosed as Castlman's disease-plasma cell type, of retroperitoneal lymph node enlargement. The patient was followed up through outpatient department without any specific medication. Physical examination showed pale conjunctivae, palpable mass on epigastric area and pretibial pitting edema. The hemoglobin, leukocyte count and erythrocyte sedimentation rate were 96 g/L, 5.9×109/L and 127 mm/hour, respectively. The blood urea nitogen was 3.6 mmol/L and creatinine was 88 umol/L. The urinalysis showed 3 positive for albumin. Twentyfour hour urine contained 16.6 grams of protein. A computerized tomographic (CT) scan of the abdomen disclosed multiple lymph node enlargement at mesentery. Percutaneous needle biopsy of kidney showed massive infiltration of pale pinkish amorphous material in the glomerular tuft forming large nodules. Ultrastructural examination exhibited heavy deposition of amyloid fibrils in the mesangium and perpendicular to glomerular basement membrane. Polarizing microscopy with Congo-red stain revealed prominent yellow green birefringence in glomeruli, tubules and interstitium.

        In design of implantable middle ear system, it is necessary that the system has a high power-transfer efficiency because die internal circuit of the system has no power source. The FM transmission method transfers the signal power more efficiently than AM method because AM signal has large carrier component which act as the loss. Therefore, an implantable middle ear system using FM transmission and receiving method is proposed. And the new shape of vibrating transducer which vibrate more efficiently than the conventional type was designed. This tranducer is consisted of coil and small T-type cylindrical permanent magnet. The differences between conventional methods and proposed methods are investigated and compared through quantitive analysis. The advantages of proposed methods are proved by experiments.

        PTA 법에 의한 스텔라이트 12 합금 육성층의 조직과 경도에 미치는 전류와 예열온도의 영향

        Stellite 12 alloy-powder was overlaid on 410 stainless steel valve seat using plasma transferred arc(PTA) process. Variation of characteristic of microstructure and hardness of deposit with current(90-150A) and preheat temperature(R.T.∼400℃) was investigated. Important conclusion obtained are as follows; All welding conditions used produced a sound deposit layer with no defect in single pass welding. The maximum deposit had 4.0∼4.8㎜ in thickness and its bead width was increased with increase of current and preheat temperature. The deposit showed hypoeutectic microstruture, which was consisting of primary cobalt dendrite and networked M_7C₃type eutectic carbides. The amount of eutectic carbides was decreased and its dendritic secondary arm spacing was increased with increase of current. Hardness of the deposit was decreased with increase of current. Preheat temperature up to 400℃, however, showed little influence on the hardness and microstructure. The hardness was also influenced by diluted Fe content near the interface in addition to microstructure and dendritic secondary arm spacing. Hot hardness at 500℃ showed higher than 300HV.

        플라즈마질화 및 침질탄화처리한 탄소강의 경도와 내마모특성

        Commercial carbon steels containing 0.2∼0.55wt.%C were plasma-nitrided or plasma nitrocarburized at 550℃ for 21.6Ks using H₂-N₂or H₂-N₂-CO mixed gas respectively. The characteristics of hardening and wear-resistance of each treatment were studied and compared. And also microstructure of nitrided layer and nitrides formed in compound layer near surface were studied. All plasma-nitrided steels investigated showed remarkable increase of surface hardness with the increase of carbon content. But nitrocarburized steels resulted in higher surface-hardness than plasma-nitrided steels, which means that nitrocarburized has higher surface-hardening effect. Plasma-nitrided steels showed hardness increase in through-thickness direction near surface. And also nitrocarburized steels showed similar hardness distribution in through-thickness direction to that of plasma-nitrided steel. However, nitrocarburized steels had higher cross-sectional maximum-hardness than plasma-nitrided steels as much as 100Hv. Wear test showed that the amount of specific wear was reduced by both plasma-nitriding and nitrocarburized, showing that the amount of specific wear was not related to the hardness. But non-treated specimen showed that the amount of specific wear was related to the hardness.

      • 원호형 문비(Tainter Gate) 의 동적 거동 해석

        A fluid analysis and transient dynamic analysis were performed for tainter gate to find out a proper bottom geometries of gate and to investigate the dynamic behaviors. Firstly, natural frequencies were analyzed to examine the dynamic characteristics of fainter gate, then natural frequencies and mode shapes were displayed in each mode. Secondly, the distribution of pressure and velocity were analyzed, and these results were loaded at the boundary of fainter gate to implement the transient dynamic analysis of the flow at the boundary of bottom geometries of gate with $quot;A$quot; and $quot;B$quot; type models which were tested at previous study. In this paper, the dynamic behaviors of fainter gate were discussed, and the bottom geometries of gate to reduce the amplitudes of vibration were proposed.

        기계적합금화법으로 제조된 Al-Fe-V-Si 합금 합출재의 고온취성 현상에 관한 연구

        Tensile behavior of mechanically alloyed Al-8.5Fe-1.3V-1.7Si alloy extrusions, with various grain sizes ranging from 0.1 to 0.6 ㎛, were examined within the temperature range between 25℃ and 250℃. It was found that both tensile strength and ductility gradually decreased with increasing temperature and/or decreasing strain rate. The SEM fractographic examination showed that MA/PM Al-Fe-V-Si alloy extrusions failed by dimpled rupture, regardless of test conditions. The size and depth of dimples, however, differed considerably with different testing temperatures and strain rates. TEM micrographs of deformed specimens showed that the formation of dislocation structures within the grain was extremely limited at each test temperatures, and was further restricted at elevated temperatures. The present observations suggest that the enhanced dynamic recovery is responsible for the nil work hardening and plastic instabilities between growing voids at elevated temperatures, leading to a reduced tensile ductility.

        The study was carried out to investigate the optimum condition of C-handing for sexing mouse embryo by chromosome analysis of single blastomere. The sexing rate was 42.9% with the 114 blastocyst embryos which were used C-handing after being hypotonic-treated in 1% sodium citrate for 30 minutes. The separated blastomeres for 4-cell embryos were used For C-banding after being hypotonic-treated in 1% sodium citrate for 20-30, 10-15 and 1-2 min., and the sexing rate For different treatment times were 5.5%, 0% and 0%, respectively. The separated blastomeres from 4-cell embryos were used for C-banding after being hypotonic-created in 30% fetal calf serum for 20-30. 10-15 and 1-2 min., and the sexing rate for different treatment tunes were 18.5%. 0% and 0%, respectively.

        최대운동시 항산화제 투여와 운동처지가 대사 및 근피로도에 미치는 영향

        최대운동시 항산화제 투여와 운동처치가 대사 및 근피로도에 미치는 영향. 운동과학, 제 9권 제 1호. (137)-(148), 2000. 본 연구는 6주간의 항산화제 투여와 운동처치가 대사반응 및 하지근육의 근 피로도에 미치는 영향을 규명하는 것이었다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 중학교 학생 27명을 대상으로 6주간의 항산화제 투여(비타민 E+C, 위약)와 운동처치(처치집단, 통제집단)를 실시하였다. 이상의 연구 절차를 통해 얻은 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 6주간의 항산화제 투여(비타민 E+C, 위약)와 운동처치(처치집단, 통제집단)를 실시한 후, 각 집단간 운동지속시간을 비교한 결과는 항산화제를 투여한 집단에서 위약을 투여한 집단에 비해서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타내었다(P<0.05). 둘째, 6주간의 합산화제 투여(비타민 E+C, 위약)와 운동처치(처치집단, 통제집단)를 실시한 후, 각 집단간 최대산소섭취량을 비교한 결과는 항산화제를 투여한 집단에서 위약을 투여한 집단에 비해서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타내었다(P<0.05). 세째, 6주간의 항산화제투여(비타민 E+C, 위약)와 운동처치(처치집단, 통제집단)를 실시한 후, 각 집단간 근피로도(평균파워주파수)을 비교하였다. 각 집단간 평균파워주파수는 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 없었다. 이상의 결론을 종합해보면, 항산화 비타민 복합섭취는 운동수행력에 있어서 약간의 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났으나, 좀 더 정확한 결론을 내리기 위해서는 세포수준에서의 세일한 측정과 연구가 더 필요할 것이라고 제안한다.

        기계적 합금법으로 제조된 Al-Nb 합금 및 Al-Al3Nb 복합재료 압출재의 인장 특성

        Tensile behavior of mechanically alloyed(MA) Al-5 wt.%Nb alloy extrusion was examined at various temperatures and strain rates. The tensile ductility of MA Al-5wt.%Nb alloy extrusion was greatly reduced with increasing temperature and/or decreasing strain rate. The SEM observations of side and fracture surfaces of tensile fractured specimens demonstrated that the overall void density formed during deformation was considerably reduced, along with the sign of decreased plasticity around the dimples on the fracture surface. To understand the effect of grain size on the deformation behavior of submicron grain sized alloys, Al-5 vol. %Al₃Nb composite extrusions with different grain sizes were fabricated and tensile tested at different temperatures. The present study confirms that the reduction in tensile ductility of submicron grain sized alloys at elevated temperatures are undoubtedly related to the grain size. Fast dynamic recovery rates, due to the lack of dislocation substructures, in submicron grain sized alloys appears to be responsible for the elevated temperature reduction in tensile ductility.
