기업자원봉사자의 특성과 자원봉사활동 만족도가 장애인에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향 = Study on the Influences of Features and Satisfaction for Corporate Volunteers on the Factors of Attitude on the Disabled

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 기성세대이자 부모로서, 직장동료로서, 이웃으로서 장애인의 사회통합에 많은 영향을 미치는, 기업자원봉사자들의 장애인에 대한 태도에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 살펴보고자, 울산지역에 소재하는 6개 기업의 기업자원봉사자 247명을 대상으로 그들의 특성과 자원봉사활동 만족도가 장애인에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 그 결과, 기업자원봉사자의 일반적 특성 중에서는 성별, 연령, 학력수준, 근무기간이, 자원봉사활동 특성 중에서는 자발적인 참여 동기, 장애인 관련 교육 경험이 있는 경우, 자원봉사대상과 기관에 대한 지식을 강조하는 경우가, 그리고 자원봉사활동 만족도는 전체적으로 장애인에 대한 태도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과가 기업자원봉사자들의 장애인에 대한 태도를 긍정적으로 변화시키기 위한 기업자원봉사활동의 바람직한 운영방향을 모색하는데 있어서 기초자료로 활용되고, 나아가 장애인의 사회통합에 도움이 되기를 바라며, 기업자원봉사자의 봉사활동에 대한 자발성 고취, 장애 및 장애인 관련 교육의 제공, 체계적이고 구조화된 자원봉사활동의 제공 그리고 기업자원봉사자들의 자원봉사활동 만족도를 높일 수 있도록 노력해야 한다는 것 등을 후속연구의 필요성과 함께 제언하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this research was to examine the factors influencing on the attitudes for the disabled by the corporate volunteers as parents as well as the older generation, colleagues at work, and neighbours as citizen. To conduct the research, 247 corporate volunteers from 6 firms located in Ulsan were recruited on a voluntary basis and studied how their characteristics and satisfaction with volunteering activities influence on the attitudes for the disabled. The results of this research showed that the general characteristics of corporate volunteers such as gender, age, educational background and work term, the volunteering activity characteristics such as motives for voluntary participation, the disability-related educational experience and an emphasis on knowledge of the subjects in need and related organization, and the satisfaction level of volunteering work, on the whole, exerted significant influences on volunteers' attitudes for the disabled. It is hoped that the results of this research be fully used as basic material searching for desirable management directions of corporate volunteering activities to cause positive attitude changes for the disabled by the corporate volunteers, and go further into a great help for social integration of the disabled. Moreover, this research suggested the future directions of corporate volunteers' activities: voluntary inspiration of volunteering activities by the corporate volunteers, offering education related with disability and the disabled, supplying systematic and well organized volunteering activities, in addition to an effort of raising up satisfaction level of corporate volunteers' activities along with a need for follow-up studies.
