        아로니아 잎의 성숙도에 따른 항산화 물질 조성 및 항산화 능력

        국내에서 재배한 A. melanocarpa 잎의 성숙도에 따른 이화학적 특성 변화, 항산화 물질 조성 변화 및 항산화 능력과 같은 기능적 특성을 분석하여, 아로니아 잎의 성숙도별 이용 가능성을 확인하였다. A. melanocarpa 3품종의 잎의 폴리페놀, 플라보노이드, 페놀화합물 함량은 성숙이 진행될수록 감소하였고, 항산화물질과 상관관계가 높은 ABTS 라디컬 소거능 및 DPPH 라디컬 소거능 역시 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 현재, 블루베리는 잎과 열매 모두 식품원료로 등록되어 있으나, 아로니아의 경우는 식품의약안전처에서 고시한 식품원료목록 상 열매 부위만 등록되어 있는 실정이다. 아로니아 잎에는 chlorogenic acid와 catechol이 다량 함유되어 있고, 아로니아 잎의 항산화 능력은 기타 베리류와 비교하였을 때, 상당히 높은 수준인 것으로 확인된 바와 같이, 아로니아 잎은 향후 가공 식품 이외에 다양한 분야로의 활용 가능성이 충분할 것으로 판단된다. In this study, the leaves of aronia (Aronia melanocarpa) across different stages of maturity were collected and their chlorophyll content, antioxidant content, and activity were analyzed. The leaves of the selected aronia cultivars (‘Viking’, ‘McKenzie’, and ‘Kingstar K1’) were harvested in June (young-stage leaf) and in August (old-stage leaf). The antioxidant content and activity of all three aronia cultivar leaves were significantly higher in the young-stage leaves than in the old-stage leaves. The main polyphenols in aronia leaves were catechol and chlorogenic acid, which tended to decrease as maturation progressed. As a result, the young-stage aronia leaves contained more abundant flavonoids, phenolic compounds, and polyphenols with higher antioxidant activity than those in the old-stage leaves. Overall, our findings indicate that aronia leaves contain potential bioactive compounds that could be used to develop functional food ingredients.

        일 대학병원에 입원한 노년기 양극성 장애 환자의 인구학적 및 임상적 특징

        Objectives : As the elderly population is continuing to increase, psychiatric diseases of the elderly are becoming an important social issue. This study looks into the demographical and clinical features of the elderly patients diagnosed with bipolar disorder in a University hospital. Methods : The study subjects include patients admissioned in the closed wards of Soonchunhyang Seoul hospital and Cheonan hospital from March, 2000 to February, 2005 who met the DSM-IV-TR criteria for bipolar disorder at the time of discharge. A total of 146 patients (76 men, 70 women) medical records were studied retrospectively. Subjects older than the age of 50 at time of admission were grouped as the old age group, whereas those who were younger than 50 as the young age group. Also among the old age group, those who had the first onset of episode under the age of 50 were grouped as the early onset group, whereas those who had the first onset after the age 50 were grouped as the late onset group. Results : The number of bipolar disorder patients in the young age group and old age group were 73 and 73 respectively. The number of early onset group and late onset group were 46 and 23 respectively. The old age group had a relatively higher incidence of bipolar II disorder than the young age group. Also in the old age group there was a higher incidence of hypomanic or depressive episode rather than manic episode compared to the young age group. And in the old age group psychotic symptoms were less common and the mean admission length shorter than the young age group. Additionally in the old age group treatment with Lithium monotherapy or with no mood stabilizers at all were relatively common. Among the old age group, late onset group had a higher rate of bipolar II disorder than the early onset group. Conclusion : This study shows differences in the demographical and clinical features among different age groups. But additional research would be required to determine whether the bipolar disorders in the elderly or late onset group are actually a different type of disorder from those of the young.

        알쯔하이머병 환자의 뇌혈류 장애 : Statistical Parametric Mapping을 이용한 Tc-99m ECD SPECT 분석 Statistical Parametric Mapping analysis of Tc-99m ECD SPECT

        Background and Objectives . Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most common cause of the dementia Pathologic and functional changes of AD are known to be unevenly distributed in the brain. This study investigates changes of cerebral blood flow (CBF) in patients with AD to determine brain regions with hypoperfusion that reflects progression of disease. Methods. Tc-99m-ECD single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) was performed to measure regional CBF and statistical parametric mapping (SPM) 99 soft ware was used for the automated and objective approach to analyze SPECT image data. Twenty-five patients with mild to moderate dementia who met NINCDS-ADRDA critena for AD (male 11 female 14) and 17 age-matched normal control subjects were studied. The severity of AD was measured by clinical dementia rating (CDR) scale Results. SPM analysis of SPECT images revealed that CBF in the anterior cingulate gyrus left superior panetal cortex left medial frontal cortex left infenor temporal cortex. right thalamus and left hippocampus was significantly decreased in AD patients compared with normal controls (corrected p<0.05). The reduction of CBF according to CDR was localized in the left hippocampus and infenor temporal cortex right antenor and postenor ciagulate cortex and right superior panetal cortex (uncorrected p<0.01). Conclusions : Our data suggest that the cognitive dysfunction of AD is strongly related with functional abnormality in discrete brain areas 99m-Tc ECD SPECT with SPM analysis could be used as a useful functional imaging tool in AD study.

      • ERP시스템에서 생산시스템 설계(A사 사례연구 중심으로)

        As business operations are globalized, the management information system which have been developed to support individual tasks in many companies are focused on the ineffectiveness. That in because the entire business transactions including production, accounting, personnel management, and logistics need to be integrated with a global perspective. To meet these requirements, many enterprises are planning or adopting the ERP package which has been recently assailable with the help of advanced information technologies. The target company of this study goes ahead with plan to adopt ERP systems. Hereupon, I want to present the issues which should be considered in the process of ERP system implementation. This study focuses on the manufacturing system, but it also discusses important issues on the selected business area. This study covers the material benefits and functionalities of ERP package as well as the importance of studying and understanding on business process, organization change management, and information technology. And this case study swart with a long-term plan and consider its own unique characteristics and environmental factors. But it is regrettable that I can not make a comparative analysis with other systems because the ERP system is still on the introductory stage for the company studies and the benefits have net been realized yet. Another limitation of this research is its narrow scope of study in which only the raw material inventory system for a single company is covered. In the future, however, ERP system would be adopted by many corporations, which would help us to launch a comparative study on the results of ERP system implementation as a future direction of research.

        This study is concerned with the effective of aspects of utility management and land management, the accuracy of data, the structure of cross reference file of data and the perpetial preservation of data management through a drawing of computer and database, when land and utility information of the application of Land Information System is made on the computer. It will be shown that the present system of land management is inadequate in various contexts and occure in difficult problems of use, as presented in this paper, computer alternative to these difficulties is efficiently managed and conveniently used land utility management. The ultimate goal is provided the necessary information of various areas as the presented land management operation is builted a drawing of computer and database construction through the computer.

      • 신장내 국소혈류량 조절에 대한 신교감신경의 영향

        Control of blood pressure is affected by regulation of intrarenal blood flow. Renal sympathetic nerve simulation inhibits pressure-depressor mechanism of kidney. This antidepressor mechanism was known as happening to due to a decrease the blood supply of renal medulla. It is not known whether renal sympathetic nerve innervation of renal medulla is and it affects regulation of medullary blood flow. We tried to measure total renal blood flow(TRBF), cortical blood flow(CBF), papillary blood flow(PBF) by ultrasonic and laser Doppler techniques in Wistar rats during 3 kinds of renal sympathetic nerves stimulation. The simulation orders are tried randomly and each stimulation period is 15 minute. TRBF and CBF decreased at 1 Hz by 2 and 2%, 3Hz by 18 and 15%, 5Hz by 49 and 44%, respectively as similar to each other. But PBF increased by 1% at 1 Hz and 4% at 3 Hz, while it decreased by 4% at 5 Hz. Therefore, it seems superficial renocortical and total renal blood flows are closely regulated by renal sympathetic nerves with increasing vasoconstriction at 5 Hz, onthe other hand while medullary blood flow seems to be under strong local control, tending to offset neurogenic flows restrictions.

      • 저전력의 플립-플롭과 클럭 드라이버 설계

        본 논문에서는 VLSI 전체 전력소비에 있어 비중이 높은 클럭 시스템의 전압 스윙 폭을 줄여 전력소비를 감소시킬 수 있는 저전압 클럭용 플립플롭을 제안한다. 제안된 플립플롭이 저전압 스윙 클럭으로도 동작함을 증명하고 이 플립플롭과 연계하기 위한 실제 전압 폭 감소 클럭 드라이버를 설계하였으며, 이 클럭 드라이버에 의해 기존의 클럭 드라이버에서 발생하는 전력소비를 1/4가량 감소시킬 수 있음을 설명했다. 본 논문에서 제시하는 플립플롭과 클럭 드라이버간의 연계동작과 소비전력 감소 효과는 SPLICE simulation을 통해 검증하였다.

      • Soybean growth and yield response to elevated temperature and light intensity

        Changing climate could be effect on the growth of soybean and seed yield, so we evaluated newly developed soy cultivars in the point of the physiological characteristics by changing temperature and light intensity in the phytotron. Two soy cultivars evaluated in three temperature levels (T1, 20/15; T2, 25/20; T3, 30/25oC at day/night) the pot experiment in phytotron between winter and spring in 2006 and spring and summer in 2007. Increased temperature from T1 to T2 and T2 to T3 enhanced crop growth parameters greatly and shortened growth duration and increased seed yield, however, grown in winter and spring enhanced too much plant height, so plant stems were very slim and weak and it resulted in the lodging problem. In this results we can estimate warming in Korean peninsular which might be increase temperature with low light intensity, so plant breeders and physiologists should be develop improved lodging resistance cultivars under low light intensity and high temperature.
