Yong‑feng Chen,Jian‑bo Xie,Yan‑xin Wu,Jian‑xun Fu 대한금속·재료학회 2019 METALS AND MATERIALS International Vol.25 No.4
To investigate the eff ect of heat treatment on the grain size of austenite in 30BF steel, the comparisons of the morphologiesand sizes of austenite grains between heating samples were made with a high-temperature electric resistance furnace, andthe austenite growth models were built with method of mathematics. The results show that most grains in original specimenwith the sizes below 70 μm uniformly distributed. At a heating rate ( v ) of 10 °C/s, the grain size ( d ) value under a certain time( t ) increased by 60–100 μm with raising temperature ( T ) from 850 to 1100 °C, whereas the d value under a certain T merelyincreased by 70–120 μm with raising time to 60 min. Under v = 0.1 °C/s, T = 850 °C, and t = 0 s, the occupied ratio of grainswith sizes of 40–50 μm was 0.165, whereas at 900 °C, the occupied ratio was 0.125. The evolutions of ln (d5.8− d5.80 ) with1/ T were in negative linear correlations, whereas the ln (d5.8− d5.80 ) with ln t were in positive linear correlations. To sum up,the grain growth behavior of steel was elucidated.

Yong-Feng Wu,Mei Guan 대한수학회 2012 대한수학회지 Vol.49 No.6
The convergence properties of extended negatively depen-dent sequences under some conditions of uniform integrability are studied. Some sufficient conditions of the weak law of large numbers, the p-mean convergence and the complete convergence for extended negatively depen-dent sequences are obtained, which extend and enrich the known results in the literature.

Let {Xnk,1 ≤ k ≤ n, n ≥ 1} be an array of rowwise negatively orthant dependent random variables and let fan; n ≥ 1g be a sequence of positive real numbers with an ↑∞. The convergence properties of partial sums 1an Pn k D1 Xnk are investigated and some new results are obtained. The results extend and improve the corresponding theorems of rowwise independent random variable arrays by Hu and Taylor [Hu, T. C., Taylor R. L. (1997). On the strong law for arrays and for the bootstrap mean and variance. International Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 20(2), 375382].

Background: We sought to evaluate the role of tumor associated macrophages (TAMs) on the promotion of coal tar pitch extract (CTPE)-induced tumorigenesis of human bronchial epithelial cells (BEAS-2B) and tumor metastasis in nude mice, and related mechanisms. Materials and Methods: BEAS-2B cells were first treated with 2.4 mg/mL CTPE for 72 hours. After removal of CTPE, the cells were continuously cultured and passaged using trypsin-EDTA. THP-1 cells were used as macrophage-like cells. BEAS-2B cells under different conditions (n=6/group) were injected into the back necks of nude mice, and alterations of tumor xenograft growth, indicative of tumorigenicity, and tumor metastasis were determined. Pathological changes (tumor nests and microvascular lesions) of HE-stained tumor tissues were also evaluated. The expression of AP-1(c-Jun) in xenografts and metastatic tumors was determined using immunohistochemistry. Results: Tumor size and weight in nude mice transplanted with the mixture of CTPE-induced passage 30 BEAS-2B and THP-1 cells (2:1) were increased compared to those from the CTPE-treated BEAS-2B cells at passage 30 alone at different observation time points. Tumor metastasis to lymph nodes and liver was only detected after transplantation of a mixture the two kinds of cells. The numbers of tumor nests and microvascular lesions, and the expression levels of AP-1 (c-Jun) in tumors from the mixture of two kinds of cells were increased apparently in contrast to those in tumor from the CTPE-treated BEAS-2B cells of passage 30 alone. In addition, there was positive correlation between AP-1 (c-Jun) expression level and the number of microvascular lesions, or between AP-1 (c-Jun) expression level and tumor metastasis in these two groups. Conclusions: TAMs not only facilitate tumorigenesis transformation of CTPE-induced BEAS-2B cells, but also promote tumor growth, angiogenesis and metastasis in nude mice in vivo, which may be mediated by AP-1.

UHRF2 is a member of the ubiquitin plant homeo domain RING finger family, which has been proven to be frequently up-regulated in colorectal cancer cells and play a role as an oncogene in breast cancer cells. However, the role of UHRF2 in glioma cells remains unclear. In this study, we performed real-time quantitative PCR on 32 pathologically confirmed glioma samples (grade I, 4 cases; grade II, 11 cases; grade III, 10 cases; and grade IV, 7 cases; according to the 2007 WHO classification system) and four glioma cell lines (A172, U251, U373, and U87). The expression of UHRF2 mRNA was significantly lower in the grade III and grade IV groups compared with the noncancerous brain tissue group, whereas its expression was high in A172, U251, and U373 glioma cell lines. An in vitro assay was performed to investigate the functions of UHRF2. Using a lentivirus-based RNA interference (RNAi) approach, we down-regulated UHRF2 expression in the U251 glioma cell line. This down-regulation led to the inhibition of cell proliferation, an increase in cell apoptosis, and a change of cell cycle distribution, in which S stage cells decreased and G2/M stage cells increased. Our results suggest that UHRF2 may be closely related to tumorigenesis and the development of gliomas.

MicroRNA-223-3p (miR-223-3p) is one of the potential microRNAs that have been shown to alleviate inflammatory responses in pre-clinical investigations and is highly encased in exosomes derived from bone mesenchymal stem cells (MSC-exosomes). MSC-exosomes are able to function as carriers to deliver microRNAs into cells. Autoimmune hepatitis is one of the challenging liver diseases with no effective treatment other than steroid hormones. Here, we examined whether MSC-exosomes can transfer miR-223-3p to treat autoimmune hepatitis in an experimental model. We found that MSC-exosomes were successfully incorporated with miR-223-3p and delivered miR-223-3p into macrophages. Moreover, there was no toxic effect of exosomes on the macrophages. Furthermore, treatments of either exosomes or exosomes with miR-223-3p successfully attenuated inflammatory responses in the liver of autoimmune hepatitis and inflammatory cytokine release in both the liver and macrophages. The mechanism may be related to the regulation of miR-223-3p level and STAT3 expression in the liver and macrophages. These results suggest that MSC-exosomes can be used to deliver miR-223-3p for the treatment of autoimmune hepatitis.

This study utilized the E. coli expression system to investigate the role of amino acid residues in toxin from the Chinese scorpion - Buthus martensii Karsch (BmKAS). To evaluate the extent to which residues of the toxin core contribute to its analgesic activity, ten mutants of BmKAS were obtained by PCR. Using site-directed mutagenesis, all of these residues were substituted with different amino acids. This study represents a thorough mapping and elucidation of the epitopes that form the molecular basis of the toxin’s analgesic activity. Our results showed large mutant-dependent differences that emphasize the important roles of the studied residues.
Determination of Ammonia-N in Environmental Water by Air-segmented FIA
Feng, Yong-Lai,Tian, Li-Ching,Wang, Wei,Wu, Qiao-Znen 한국분석과학회 1995 분석과학 Vol.8 No.4
A method for determination of ammonia-N in environmental water by air-segmented flow injection analysis using the colour reaction of phenol and sodium hypochlorite with ammonia was described in this paper. When the reaction temperature is $70^{\circ}C$ and the reaction residence time is 5 minutes, a sample frequency of $60-90h^{-1}$ can be achieved. The detection limit and relative deviation are $0.05mg.ml^{-1}$ and 4%, respectively. The recovery of this method is 96 - 110%, and the determination results of the method are greatly agreement with standard colorimetric method.

As a green plasticizer, the industrial production of dioctyl terephthalate (DOTP) is still facing the problemof high energy consumption. To optimize the production process and reactor, it is essential to understand the kineticbehavior of reaction system. In this work, the two-step consecutive esterification of solid terephthalic acid (PTA) and 2-ethylhexanol (2-EH) catalyzed by tetrabutyl titanate was studied. First, the equilibrium constants and enthalpies of thetwo-step reaction were experimentally determined and validated by the group contribution methods. Then, a pseudohomogeneouskinetic model was developed, and the reaction order of PTA was corrected to reflect its solid phase characteristic. Non-isothermal kinetic experiments were carried out under different initial feed molar ratios and catalystconcentrations, and the kinetic parameters in the model were estimated by mathematical regression. The model predicteddata agreed well with the experimental data. Finally, the analyses of reaction rate showed that the first-step reactionwas the rate-controlling step of the whole esterification process.
