        The economic development in one country is directly connected with its industrial dcvelopment, which is greatly affected by its trading activities. Since the early 1960s, Korea has brought about a remarkable expansion of trading with the accomplishment of the high economic growth through a series of the Five-Year Economic Development plan. According to the environmental shifts in trade, such as the achievement of 10 billion dollar export and the black figure of current account balance in 1977, the first import liberalization policy was adopted on May 1st, 1978. The import liberalization. policy should be continued to carry out and expanded in view of not only an active measure to increase export against the restriction of the advanced countries in. importing Korean goods but also various necessities of domestic economy such as stablizing prices and protecting consumers. Counter-measures against the problems which is caused by expanding the import liberalization are to promote the heavy industry, to strengthen enterprise competititon power, to expedite the technology development, to search for multilateral import markets, and to run efficient flexible tariff system and exchange rate system.

      • Large Volume Sample Stacking 방법과 Head Column Stacking 을 이용한 프로틴과 펩타이드의 시료 농축

        현재 세포 성분 내에서의 단백질들의 기능규명, 새로운 신약의 개발 등은 매우 중요함을 차지하고 있다. 그러나 현재의 분석 기술인 2-D 젤 모세관 전기 영동 장치, 액체 크로마토그래피 그리고 질량 분석기 등의 여러 가지 방법들은 세포 내에서 극 미량의 단백질들을 분석하는데 있어서 충분한 감도를 제공하지 못한다. 이 실험에서는 모세관 전기 영동 장치를 이용한 단백질과 펩타이드의 분석에서 시료의 낮은 농도의 감도를 향상시키기 위하여 시료 농축 방법인 Large Volume Sample Stacking 방법과 Head column stacking 방법을 이용하여 분석을 하였다. α - lactalbumin과 trypsin inhibitor들과 같은 단백질들을 위의 시료 농축 방법을 이용하여 낮은 시료의 농도 0.01 ㎍/㎖까지 농축이 가능하였다. 또한 효소로 처리한 잘려진 단백질들의 절편들도 극 미량의 low femtomole 수준까지 검출이 가능하였다. 그리고 low femtomole 수준의 단백질 절편들을 규명하기 위하여 CE-MS를 사용하였다 The identification proteins in the cell is very important for Proteomics research. However, current analytical techniques such as 2-D gel electrophoresis, 1iquid chromatography and mass spectrometry do not provide enough sensitivity for cell proteins especially for low-abundant proteins. Therefore, protein and peptide concentration method should be developed for the easy operation of current identification technologies. In order to enhance the concentration sensitivity in capillary electrophoresis of proteins deptides, large volume sample stacking using electroosmotic flow pump and LVSEP combined with Head column stacking were applied. Proteins such as α -Lactalbumin and trypsin inhibitor were successfully stacked and their limits of detection were below 0.01㎍/㎖. A large volume of digested protein samples was also stacked and the enhanced sensitivity allowed one to analyze protein digests at low femtomole levels. CE-MS was employed for the identification of protein digests at low femtomole levels.

      • FAC-Biofilm과 F-A 시스템에 의한 下水處理 特性

        Through the comparative experiment of FAC-Biofilm and F-A system using the wastewater treated by FAC process, the following conclusions ca be drawn form the results of this research. 1. Despite the fluctuation of influent concentrations, FAC process showed that since the wastewater qualities treated by it were within the range of effluent quality regulation, it was adequate as pretreatment process 2. The results of comparative experiments of FAC-Biofilm and F-A system presented that for COD and SS removal, all of both system resulted in a desirable removal rate, but NH_(4)-N was largly reduced by Biofilm process. Particulary, phosphorus removal was more effective to pass through the biofilm process after coagulation and sedimentation. 3. The waste sludge amount in FAC process was calculated by the equation of that of Contact-Stabilization Method, because MLSS concentration in reaeration basin keep being constant could be anticipated steady-state in operation the FAC process.

      • 차량의 GPS 동적 측량에 의한 데이터 정확도 비교

        GPS developed for the strategic equipment by U.S. Deparment of Defence is a navigation satellite system alternative of Navy Navigation Satellite System. So it is not introduced to public. Otherwise, it is used variously in many fields as well as high accuracy surveying network and acquirment of geo-spatial data. The GPS system has been used in static surveying and specialist used its equipment. It is very difficult for unspecialist to use. The GPS system is used to the Car Navigation system and being changed easy equipment for everyone. The GPS system of dynamic surveying is known about 100m accuracy. In this study, it is compared to three GPS system (Pathfinder, Garmin, Svee six) navigated along the road from Pusan Univ. to Haeundae. According to the study, expensive equipment was surveyed to DGPS principle and was very good to acquracy. But, it is able to be processed to real time DGPS. It is difficult to survey by using expensive equipment in the Car Navigation System. Thus, accuracy of the GPS equipment is not higher than it can process datum to real time, the development of software is suitable to make Car Navigation System GPS는 종래의 위성항법체계였던 NNSS와 교체된 새로운 항법시스템으로써 미국방성의 전략장비로 개발되었다. 일반인들에게는 공개되지 않았으나, 현재는 전세계적으로 고정밀 측지망 구성 및 지형정보의 취득에 필수적 장비인 동시에 다양한 분야에서 범용적으로 사용하고 있다. 또한 GPS장비는 정적의 측량에 사용되어져왔기 때문에 일반인이 이용하기에는 상당히 어려웠다. 그러나, 현재에는 GPS장비가 Car Navigation System의 소개로 일반인이 쉽게 이용할 수 있는 장비로 바뀌고 있다. 일반적으로 동적 측량에 의한 GPS장비는 약 100m의 정확도를 가지고 있는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 부산대학교를 출발하여 해운대까지의 도로를 따라 주행한 세 개의 GPS장비인 pathfinder와 garmin 그리고 SVee Six의 정확도를 서로 비교 고찰하였다. 연구에 따르면, 값비싼 장비는 DGPS를 원리로 측량이 되고 그 정확도도 상당히 좋았다. 그러나, 상당히 고가의 장비는 실시간으로 DGPS가 가능하다. 차량주행을 위한 시스템은 값비싼 장비로는 불가능하다. 따라서, 정확도는 조금 떨어지지만, 값싸고 실시간으로 자료를 처리할 수 있는 GPS장비와 소프트웨어의 개발이 차량주행 시스템 구성에 적당하였다.

      • 당뇨병환자의 하지경피 산소분압 측정

        Transcutaneous oxyen tension(tcPO_2) was investigated in 31 control subjects and in 134 diabetics with or without peripheral vascular diseases on clinical examination. With a modified Clark -type oxygen electrode, tcPO_2 was measured on the chest, above the knee, below the knee and the dorsum of the foot. One hundred-thirty four diabetics were clinicially classified in the following 3 groups; group 1∼98 diabetics without clinical evidence of vascular insufficiency, group 2∼25 diabetics with intermittent claudication and group 3∼11 diabetics with rest pain or gangrene. In order to develop tcPO_2 measurement into a practical method for accurate assessing peripheral vascular insufficiency of the diabetic foot, regional perfusion index(RPI: the ratio of foot to chest tcPO_2), that was independent of systemic oxygen delivery and assueately reflected the adequacy of foot prefusion, was examined. In addition, tcPO_2 and RPI were measured with or without leg elevation and tcPO_2 recovery half time after temporary arterial occulsion was also studied. The results were as follows: 1. The tcPO_2 of the foot and below the knee in group 1, as well as group 2 and group 3, were significantly lower than those in control group(p<0.01), which represented the existence of subclinical hypoxia. 2. RPI was significantly lower in the diabetics compared to control subjects. The tcPO_2 and RPI of control foot were high and varied little with leg elevation(p<0.01). All values of the foot with leg elevation in group 2 were below the lower limits of those of control(tcPO_2<30mmHg, RPI<65%), however all values without leg elevation in group 3 were below the lower limits of those of control. 3. The recovery half time of tcPO_2 after transient arterial occlusion was delayed significantly in diabetic group compared to control group(p<0.01), and the dely was related to the severity of the hypoxia. These quantitative assessments of limb hypoxia by measuring tcPO_2 may provide a noninvasive and simple screening method not only for early detection of the diabetics at risk with no clinical evidence of peripheral vascular insufficiency but also for grading the severity of diseases and evaluating progression of diseases in the diabetics.

      • 우리나라 여성의 삶의 질에 관한 연구

        People are getting more interested in their “quality of life” as they achieved certain level of economic development. Governments pay great attention on well-being and happiness of people as well and try to find the best way to improve citizens' quality of life. However, South Korea is still on 27th out of 39 OECD and G20 countries in quality of life index, which means that there are great needs to improve Koreans' quality of life. Moreover, it is expected that Korean women's quality of life might be worse than this in its patriarchal environments. In fact, there are few research regarding Korean women's quality of life and it is unknown what personal and social factors affect Korean women's quality of life and how we can improve it. This research attempts to find out factors related to Korean women's quality of life through the surveys of 536 Korean women. The results show that quality of life is most influenced by factors such as self-fulfillment, socio-economic independence, satisfaction with the residence, and satisfaction with cultural activities. In addition, happiness of Korean womem is greatly affected by various factors such as mental health, interpersonal relationship, self-respect, self-fulfillment, socio-economic independence, satisfaction with the residence, and satisfaction with cultural activities. Among various factors related to quality of life and happiness of Korean women, scores of self-respect, self-fulfillment, and interpersonal relationship are high, while scores regarding income are relatively low.
