Vol.20 No.5

In line with the recent growth of drive-thru, this study raises the need for research and examines the relationship between drive-thru usage motivation in fast food hamburger restaurants on customer satisfaction and revisit intention. In addition, by analyzing the group differences in the brand attitudes of fast food hamburger restaurants, research suggestions were presented, and practical and academic implications were presented. The online survey was conducted from July 10 to August 14, 2021 for the survey response period, and SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 25.0 statistical packages were used with a total of 236 copies of data. Various influencing factors are meaningful in providing prior data on the effect on the As a result of hypothesis testing, interest among drive-thru usage motives has a positive effect on customer satisfaction, raising the need for a method to continuously manage the interests of users. For example, rather than maintaining the same marketing technique for customer satisfaction, monthly or quarterly benefits should be presented through unexpected events or lotteries. On the other hand, it should be accompanied by smooth operation and service based on speed and convenience, which are the characteristics of drive-thru, so that customers do not feel uncomfortable in the process of using only interest. As a result of differences in brand attitudes by group, fast food drive-through customers showed that the group with high brand attitude was interested in the motive of interest and had a high influence on customer satisfaction and revisit intention, whereas the low group showed all of usefulness, intimacy, and interest. Factors appear to be factors that can increase customer satisfaction, prioritizing interest and increasing trust by securing regular customers through intimacy.

Discrete-Time Circular Walking Pattern for Biped Robots

Seungchul Lim,Young Ik Son 대한전기학회 2016 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.11 No.5

When biped robots make turns fast, they may fall due to the action of centrifugal force. This is why one needs to consider the Zero Moment Point (ZMP) equations with respect to cylindrical coordinate system. Those ZMP equations are, however, so coupled and highly nonlinear even for the simple inverted pendulum model that it is hard to find a closed-form solution. Therefore, in this paper, they have been converted through temporal discretization to difference equations that admit numerical solution by most on-board computers. Thus-obtained walking patterns have been characterized and applied to several cases of different speed for comparison purposes. In so doing, the steady patterns have been blended with a type of transitional patterns to change the walking speed in the beginning and/or mid course of walking. Finally, those combined patterns have been put to test on a multi-body robot model by ADAMS®. Test results show that the robot could walk along a sample circular path as predicted at rapid speeds despite some modeling error, distributed mass and ground contact effects, validating efficacy of the suggested approach.

      • Diagnostics of Automated Manufacturing Processes Using Event Time Durations

        Seungchul Lee(이승철) (사)한국CDE학회 2014 한국 CAD/CAM 학회 학술발표회 논문집 Vol.2014 No.2

This paper addresses a new intelligent information technology designed for automated manufacturing diagnostics and maintenance decision support. This new solution, Factory EKG Technology (F-EKG), can help manufacturing enterprises to trace and record minimal motions in their automated machinery processes, detect process variation in real time, and provide early warnings to conduct preventive maintenance before failures actually occur. The technology fills the gap in the current diagnostics and fault detection tools heavily based upon sensing technology, rather that it digitizes existing PLC information to the rhythm of machine processes, which is enables faster detection of process behavior changes. We demonstrate the effectiveness of F-EKG with the real industrial applications.

      • Transformer Coupled Recycle Snubber for High-Efficiency Offline Isolated LED Driver With On-Chip Primary-Side Power Regulation

Seungchul Jung,Gyu-Hyeong Cho IEEE 2014 IEEE transactions on industrial electronics Vol.61 No.12

<P>This paper presents a high-efficiency offline isolated LED driver based on a flyback converter. In order to achieve high power conversion efficiency as well as a low-cost design, a simple passive lossless turn-off snubber is proposed to reduce the switching loss of the power switch. A primary-side power regulation scheme is also proposed to compensate for forward voltage variation and aging caused by process and temperature variations. The proposed control scheme is designed and fabricated on-chip using a 0.35- μm BCDMOS process. Test results of the proposed LED driver show an efficiency level that exceeds 83% (up to 90%) in an output range of 5-10 W with an input range of 85-265 VAC.</P>

Evolution of PKI Internet Banking in Korea

Seungchul Park 한국인터넷방송통신학회 2019 Journal of Advanced Smart Convergence Vol.8 No.1

Most banks in Korea have provided Internet banking services based on PKI(Public Key Infrastructure) certificates since the early 2000s when Internet banking began in Korea. To support PKI Internet banking, the Korean government backed the electronic signature law and supported the rapid spread of PKI-based Internet banking by regulating the application of PKI certificates to be compulsory in Internet banking until 2015. PKI Internet Banking in Korea has been developed as a pioneer in this field through many challenges and responses until its present success. Korea’s PKI banking, which started with soft-token-based closed banking, has responded to various types of cyber attack attempts and promoted the transition to open banking by accepting various criticisms due to lack of compatibility with international standards. In order to improve the convenience and security of PKI Internet banking, various attempts have been made, such as biometric-integrated smartphone-based PKI authentication. In this paper, we primarily aim to share the experience and lessons of PKI banking by analyzing the evolution process of PKI Internet banking in Korea. It also has the purpose of presenting the challenges of Korea’s PKI Internet banking and sharing its development vision.

Management of Adverse Reactions to Iodinated Contrast Media for Computed Tomography in Korean Referral Hospitals: A Survey Investigation

Seungchul Han,윤순호,이활,최영훈,강동윤,Hye-Ryun Kang 대한영상의학회 2019 Korean Journal of Radiology Vol.20 No.1

Objective: To evaluate the current status of managing adverse reactions to iodinated contrast media (ICM) for computed tomography in referral hospitals in South Korea compared with hospitals in other countries. Materials and Methods: This survey investigation involved 59 Korean and 15 overseas hospitals using guideline-based questionnaires consisting of 24 items in 7 main categories related to managing adverse reactions to ICM. Results: Informed written consent with risk factor evaluation was appropriately performed in most of the Korean hospitals. There was considerable variability in assessing renal function across the hospitals; serum creatinine level was used as a reference in 76.4% of Korean hospitals. The Korean hospitals preferred a more stringent approach to determining normal renal function (p = 0.01), withholding metformin (p = 0.01), and fasting before ICM exposure (p < 0.001) compared with overseas hospitals. All the Korean hospitals had an emergency protocol and in-hospital system for adverse reactions to ICM. The Korean (87.7%) and overseas hospitals (100%) were similarly equipped with epinephrine (p = 0.332), but only 38.6% of Korean hospitals were equipped with a bronchodilator (p = 0.004). For patients with a previous hypersensitivity reaction to ICM, 62.3% of Korean hospitals pre-medicated with anti-histamine and corticosteroid according to the severity of the previous reaction, and changed the culprit ICM in 52.8%, while skin test was performed in 17%. Conclusion: In general, Korean referral hospitals were well-prepared regarding informed consent, protocol, and an inhospital system for managing adverse reactions to ICM. Nevertheless, there was considerable variability in details and management, thus requiring standardization by reflecting current guidelines.
