약한 외부자장에 의한 유도결합형 플라즈마에서의 Helicon wave발생에 관한 연구

본 연구에서는 대면적 금속반응기에 I3.56MHz RF 전력을 인가하여 ICP(Inductively Coupled Plasma)를 발생하고, 외부에 약한 자기장(B<70G)을 인가하였을 때 플라즈마 내부에서 helicon wave의 전파현상을 관찰하였다. 기존의 ICP에 사용되는 안테나와 달리 직경이 서로 다른 두 개의 1turn 안테나를 직렬연결하여 안테나의 내부와 외부에 흐르는 전류의 방향을 반대가 되도록 하였다. 안테나에 의해 유도되는 자기장의 시간에 따른 변화량( ∂B/ ∂t)을 자기탐침을 이용하여 측정하였으며 유도되는 자기장의 θ방향성분을 측정하여 비대칭성을 갖는 m =1 mode임을 확인하였다. 발생된 플라즈마의 밀도는 Langmuir탐침을 이용하여 측정하였고, 측정된 밀도는 2.4 X 10^(10)cm^(-3) ~ 2.25 X 10^(11)cm^(-3) 이었다. 측정한 밀도와 외부에 주어진 자기장을 dispersion relation에 대입하여 계산된 wave number와 자기탐침을 이용하여 측정한 wave number를 비교하여 전파된 wave가 helicon wave 와 일치함을 확인하였다. This study was on the helicon wave propagation in an ICP(Inductively Coupled Plasma), which was generated by I3.56MHz RF power in a large area metal chamber with low external B-field(B<70G). Unlike a usual antenna for ICP, two different diameter I-turn antenna was connected in serial to opposing a current flowing the inner and the outer antenna. Time dependent B-Field( ∂B/ ∂t ), induced by the antenna was measured by a magnetic probe. It was confirmed m=I mode wave propagation by measuring θ component of the induced B-field. Plasma density was measured by Langmuir probe. It was 2.4 X 10^(10)cm^(-3) ~ 2.25 X 10^(11)cm^(-3)? By comparing a wavenumber which is calculated from the measured density and external B-field to a wavenumber measured by the magnetic probe, the helicon wave propagation has been confirmed.

If an effective information system is defined as one that adds value to the firm, CIOs(chief information officers)managerial roles become more important, The CIOs' managerial roles make affects on the information system performance and the organizational effectiveness. CIOs work out the organization and information system strategies, introduce changes into organizations, communicate with chief executive officers and users, and take the responsibilities of the information system operation. The CIO's area of responsibility include information systems, computer operations, telecommunications, and end user computing. It is widely argued that the CIO's managerial role has undergone fundamental changes. To better understand changes, this study compares the full time CIO's managerial role and a concurrent CIO's managerial role. Organization environments do not equally influence CIOs' managerial roles. The full time CIO is profitable to the organization.

As information is the critical resource of business, CIOs(chief information officers)' managerical roles become more important. CIOs work out the oragnization and information system strategies, introduce changes into organization, communicate with chief executive officers and users, and take the responsibilites of the information system operation. CIOs are not the heads of the information system departments, but members of the executives of the enterprises. The CIOs' managerial roles make affects on the information system performance and the oragnizational effectiveness. This study investigates the effect of CIOs' communication roles on user satisfaction, user participation. The results of this study have implications for the CIOs' managerical roles in organization. As CIOs effectively perform communication roles, user satisfaction is improved.

저자들은 체중 증가와 전신 부종, 당뇨병을 주소로 내원한 여자 환자에서 폐 우중엽의 ACTH 염색 양성인 유암종이 쿠싱 증후군을 유발한 증례를 진단하여 수술적 제거 후 증상 완화를 경험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 이를 보고하는 바이다. Fifteen percent of patients with Cushing's syndrome could be accompanied with nonpituitary tumors that secrets ACTH-the ectopic ACTH syndrome. Among them, bronchial carcinoid is one of the rare causes of the ectopic ACTH syndrome. We experienced a 60-year-old woman who showed conditions of weight gain, generalized edema, hypokalemia, diabetes mellitus, and right middle lung mass. Histologically, the tumor was diagnosed with bronchial carcinoid and was confirmed as an ectopic ACTH syndrome through immunohistochemical staining of ACTH. After resection of the lung mass, blood sugar, electrolytes, generalized weakness, and blood pressure improved (J Kor Soc Endocrinol 19:76∼81, 2004).

Furfural, an organic solvent, is widely used as synthetic component material in producing chemical products. However, furfural has been reported that it shows strong toxicities to human being showing intense stimulus to skin, eyes, mucous membrane and nerve system. It is also known to cause anemia, liver cirrhosis, kidney failure and genetic toxicity in the human being working in the exposed area. LD50 of furfural for peritoneal injected mouse has been known around 20mg/kg, but the acute toxicity on aquatic organisms such as fish, daphnid or algae are not well known, compared to those on rodents. In this experiment, we studied on the fish toxicity of furfural using Japanese Meclaka (Oryzias latipes) and Common Carp (Cyprinus carpio). We also observed histological changes in the fish organs. The LC50s were 12.8 mg/L in Japanese Medaka and 21.8 mg/L in Common Carp, respectively. When Common Carps were exposed to 120 mg/L of furfural concentration for 30 minutes, blood congestion in gills and lysis of secondary lamella were shown. Though the muscle of caudal fin was not completely eroded, its epidermic cells were shown to be necrotic in various parts. Tissue atrophy and cell necrosis were also shown in the liver of Common Carps exposed to furfural. From these results, furfural seems to cause histological damages on liver, an internal organ as well as on external organs such as gills and fins eventhough the fish were exposed for a short-term.
