임숙빈,주세진,오민자,권미경,곽은영 대한간호학회정신간호학회 1994 정신간호학회지 Vol.3 No.1
This study was conducted to examine the feature of attachment and the main factors of attachment development between autistic child and his or her mother. Data was collected at Day Care Center for Children with Developmental Disorder in S National University Hospital through nurses's in S National University Hospital through nurses's participating observation, interview with the mothers, and review of nursing records, from April 2 to June 30, 1994. The subjects were all 6 children, one was a girl, the others were boys, and their mothers who participate at the sensory-integrative play for attachment promotion served at this center. Content analysis was done for data analysis. First, all data were categorized by main concepts, reciprocity and affect. Then these wee analyzd and discussed on the aspects of specificity, proximity, synchrony, joint attention, strong affect, emotional availability which were chosen as the components of attachment through literature review. The results of this study were summarized as follows : all subjects were underdeveloped, unstable and showed different level of mother-child attachment. But during the program their attachment behaviors improved little by little. The behaviors which represented specificity, proximity, and strong affect were increased considerably, on the other hand the behaviors which represented joint attention and emotional availability were scarce. The more mother and child had contact and interacted merrily, the more their attachment behaviors developed. Another important factors of attachment development in these cases were mother and child's each characteristics. Especially the child's autistic peculiarity, such as indifference, severe resistance, distracterbility, stereotype tendency, physical condition were major barriers of maintatining the mother-child interaction. Also mother's attitude to her child, raring skill and physical condition were influencing factors. A few mothers who were anxious and stubborn had much more difficulty to adjust to their children. The mother who had experienced happiness with her child, especially if the mother experienced more fun at the play by herself became more positive, active and flexible, and that mother-child interaction maintained much longer and improved. It was more critical to help them enjoy their interaction. Thus nurses had to plan and intervene more joyful and various play, and consider mother's need in addition to child's need. And The program should be strengthened to support the mother emotionally to maximize the therapeutic effect.

임은영,강민수,오명주,정태성,정성주 한국어병학회 2003 한국어병학회지 Vol.16 No.3
A stable cell line, BSBS (black seabream spleen), was established from the cells in spleen of black seabream, Acanthopagrus schlegeli, and characterized. Subculture maintained more than 60 passages and mophologically, BSBS cell was epithelioid cell. The cells grew optimally at 20℃ in Leibovitz's L-15 medium supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum with incubation temperature of 20℃. BSBS cells supported the growth of marine birnavirus (MABV Y-6), chum salmon reovirus (CSV), spring viremia of carp virus (SVCV) and hirame rhabdovirus (HIRRV). Thus, the new cell line may be useful for studying wide range of fish viruses.

Jin, Yong-Ik,Park, Kyeong-Hun,Chang, Dong-Chil,Cho, Ji-Hong,Cho, Kwang-Su,Im, Ju-Sung,Hong, Su-Young,Kim, Su-Jeong,Nam, Jung-Hwan,Sohn, Hwang-Bae,Yu, Hong-Seob,Chung, Ill-Min The Korean Society of Environmental Agriculture 2016 한국환경농학회지 Vol.35 No.4
BACKGROUND: Acrylamide (CAS No. 79-06-1) is known to be a carcinogenic compound, and is classified as a Group 2A compound by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC, 1994). Acrylamide can be generated during the browning process via the non-enzymatic Maillard reaction of carbohydrates such as reducing sugars and of amino acids such as asparagine, both of which occur at a temperature above $120^{\circ}C$. Potato tubers contain reducing sugars, and thus, this will affect the safety of processed potato products such as potato chips and French fries. In order to reduce the level of acrylamide in potato processed products, it is therefore necessary to understand factors that affect the reducing sugar content of potatoes, such as environmental factors and potato storage conditions, as well as understanding factors affecting acrylamide formation during potato processing itself. METHODS AND RESULTS: Potatoes were cultivated in eight regions of Korea; For each of these different environments, soil physico-chemical characteristics such as pH, electrical conductivity, total nitrogen, available phosphate, and exchangeable cation content were measured and correlations with potato reducing sugar content and potato chip acrylamide levels were examined. The reducing sugar content in potato during storage for three months was determined and acrylamide level in potato chip was analyzed after processing. The storage temperature levels were $4^{\circ}C$, $8^{\circ}C$, or $10^{\circ}C$, respectively. The acrylamide content of chips prepared from potatoes stored at $10^{\circ}C$ or $20^{\circ}C$ for one month was analyzed and the different frying times were 2, 3, 5, and 7 min. CONCLUSION: This study showed that monitoring and controlling the phosphate content within a potato field should be sufficient to avoid producing brown or black potato chips. For potatoes stored at low temperatures, a reconditioning period ($20^{\circ}C$ for 20 days) is required in order to reduce the levels of reducing sugars in the potato and subsequently reduce the acrylamide and improve chip coloration and appearance.
Evaluation of Pain Reduction and Clinical Efficacy of Feedback-Controlled Ultrasonic Scaler
Min-ju Kim,Hee-jung Lim,Myoung-hee Kim,Young-sun Hwang,Im-hee Jung 한국치위생과학회 2023 치위생과학회지 Vol.23 No.2
Background: Recently, a piezoelectric ultrasonic scaler based on a feedback control mechanism was introduced for pain relief. This study aimed to investigate the effects of a new ultrasonic scaler in reducing pain and discomfort in adults. Methods: A newly introduced ultrasonic scaler (Master 700Ⓡ) was used as the test device and a conventional ultrasonic scaler device (PIEZONⓇ) was used as the control device. Forty-one healthy adults visited the dental clinic for dental scaling but did not undergo scaling or periodontal treatment within 6 months. Intraoral examinations were performed before scaling and 3 months later; before scaling, both devices were randomly assigned on the left or right side of each dentition (split-mouth model) and scaling was performed by a registered dental hygienist. The levels of pain and discomfort during scaling were evaluated subjectively and objectively using the visual analog scale (VAS) and physiological monitoring of the heart rate (HR), respectively. Time was measured for each device. Results: All clinical indicators, except bleeding on probing, significantly improved with both devices. The treatment times were 7 minutes, 13 minutes (control) and 6 minutes, 59 minutes (test). VAS scores for pain were 4.89±2.12 (control) and 4.58±2.77 (test) points out of 10; for noise, these were 4.68±2.33 (control) and 4.55±2.55 (test), and for vibration, the values were 4.26±2.0 (control) and 4.18±2.48 (test). HR averages were 72.34±3.39 (control) and 75.97±9.78 (test) beats/min. No statistically significant differences were observed between the devices. Conclusion:The pain, discomfort levels, and scaling time of the new piezoelectric ultrasonic scaler did not differ from those of the conventional device. Further research and development are necessary for more prominent pain-relief effects of scaling devices.

<P>The in vivo relevance of ursodeoxycholate (UDCA) treatment (100 mg/kg/day, per oral tid for 5 days before cholestasis induction followed by the same dosing for 5 days) on hepatic function was investigated in rats with 17α-ethinylestradiol (EE, 10 mg/kg, subcutaneous for 5 days)-induced experimental cholestasis. The bile flow rate and the expression level of hepatic multidrug resistance-associated protein 2 (Mrp 2) that were decreased in cholestasis were restored after UDCA treatment. Consistent with this, the biliary excretion clearance (CLexc, bile) of a representative Mrp2 substrate—methotrexate (MTX)—was decreased in cholestatic rats but was restored after UDCA treatment. Consequently, the plasma concentrations of MTX, which were increased by cholestasis, were decreased to control levels by UDCA treatment. Thus, the restoration of CLexc, bile appears to be associated with the increase in Mrp2 expression on the canalicular membrane by UDCA treatment followed by Mrp2-mediated biliary excretion of MTX. On the other hand, the hepatic uptake clearance (CLup,liver) of MTX was unchanged by cholestasis or UDCA treatment, suggestive of the absence of any association between the uptake process and the overall biliary excretion of MTX. Since UDCA has been known to induce the expression of canalicular MRP2 in humans, UDCA treatment might be effective in humans to maintain or accelerate the hepatobiliary elimination of xenobiotics or metabolic conjugates that are MRP2 substrates.</P>
