비만학생들의 운동후 회복시 초과 산소소비량 및 지속시간에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of two different intensity of continuous exercise on magnitude of excess post-exercise oxygen consumption(EPOC), energy consumption following a 20min treadmill exercise. The subjects of this study were eight super-obesity in middle school students who were above 13 years old. subjects participated in two different exercise intensity to measure respiratory gas, blood lactate concentration and eardrum temperature. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The Energy consumption of the high intensity (80% VO₂ max) exercise group (264.68 35.60cal) was greater than that of the low intensity (50%) exercise group(172.01 20.39 Cal)(p<.001). 2. The EPOC of the high intensity exercise group (22.36+ 6.82Cal ) was greater than that of the low intensity exercise group(15.39+5.27 Cal)(p<.001). 3. The EPOC duration of th high intensity exercise group(28.36=3.56min) was longer than that of the low intensity exercise group(17.23+1.25min)(p<.001) 4. The blood lactate concentration, respiratory exchange ratio and temperature of the high intensity exercise group were greater than those of the low intensity exercise group(p<.05,p<.01). EPOC and duration were increase with 80%VO₂max, 80% VO₂max as intensity exercise got higher this also showed that it had something to do with lactate concentration in blood and increase of body temperature in the conclusion. We considered that there was a difference in using methods of energy, as there was a similar difference in RER. We though this following with oxygen consumption after exercise, we could clarify that high intensity exercise was better than lower intensity exercise in sametime for those who are obese especially adolescents to maintain their weights on the aspect of effect.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of 12 wks before and after running exercise of obsese student in D high school in Pusan city, exercise group(7) performed 12 wks running exercise and control group(7),before and after subjects performed the maximal exercise thest on treadmile's 12 wks running exercise. Through the comparision and analysis of change serum lipids and apoliporotein metabolism, the results of this study were as follows. 1. In 12 wks before and agter running exercise at the rest time,exercise group was found to have a great decrease in TC(8%),TG(29%),LDL-C(7%) and to have a significant in crease in HDL-C(20%),FFA(74%). 2. At the rest, the control group was found to have a little decrease in TG, HDL-C,LDL-C and to have little changes in TC and FFA. 3. In 12wks before and after running exercise at the maximal exercise, the exercise group was found to have a significant decrease in TC(18%),TG(23) and to have a significant in crease in HDL-C(20%),LDL-(25%),FFA(23%) and TG and HDL-C were found to have a significant change. 4. At the maximal exerxcise , were found to have little change in the control group. 5. Apo A-I in the exercise group was found not to have the change signicantly. but to have anincrease 5% at the rest time, 6% at the maximal exercise. And the control group was almost found not to have change. 6. Statically, Apo B in the exercise group was found not to have a signficant change, but to have the increase 12%at the maximal exercise and the control group was found not to have a change.
Suppression of pine wilt disease by an antibacterial agent, oxolinic acid

<P>BACKGROUND: Pine wilt disease (PWD) is very complex and has been reported to be caused by pine wood nematode, Bursaphelenchus xylophilus (Steiner & Buhrer) Nickle, and its accompanying bacteria. However, there is no report on the control of PWD by antibacterial agent. The present study was performed to investigate disease control efficacy of antibacterial agents against PWD.</P><P>RESULTS: Among six antibacterial antibiotics tested, oxolinic acid (OA) showed the strongest antibacterial activity against five bacteria isolated from three strains of pine wood nematode. In in vivo assay, it effectively suppressed the development of PWD in three-year-old seedlings of Pinus densiflora Sieb. & Zucc.; it showed 71% control when injected at 3 mg per seedling. A mixture of OA and the nematicidal agent abamectin (Ab) showed higher disease control efficacy against PWD than either OA or Ab alone. In addition, OA alone and a mixture of OA and Ab also controlled PWD in approximately 20-year-old pine trees under field conditions.</P><P>CONCLUSION: This is the first report on the suppression of PWD by OA. The result strongly indicates that PWD could be controlled by antibacterial antibiotic alone and a combination of antibacterial and nematicidal agents. Pine wood nematode, Bursaphelenchus xylophilus, causes pine wilt disease in a number of Pinus species, which is one of the most serious plant diseases in forest, Korea. In the course of a search for nematicidal substances from endophytic fungi, Fusarium oxysporum EF119 out of the 23 fungal strains tested showed the strongest activity to B. xylophilus. Two nematicidal substances were isolated and identified as bikaverin and fusaric acid. Fusaric acid showed somewhat higher nematicidal activity against B. xylophilus than bikaverin; fusaric acid and bikaverin, at $100{\mu}g/ml$, killed B. xylophilus with mortality values of 50% and 43%, respectively. In addition, both compounds acted synergistically. This is the first report on the nematicidal activity of bikaverin and fusaric acid.

<P>The development of an electrode material for rechargeable Li-ion batteries (LIBs) and the understanding of its reaction mechanism play key roles in enhancing the electrochemical characteristics of LIBs for use in various portable electronics and electric vehicles. Here, we report a three-dimensional (3D) crystalline-framework-structured silicon diphosphide (SiP2) and its interesting electrochemical behaviors for superior LIBs. During Li insertion in the SiP2, a three step electrochemical reaction mechanism, sequentially comprised of a topotactic transition (0.55-2 V), an amorphization (0.25-2 V), and a conversion (0-2 V), was thoroughly analyzed. On the basis of the three-step electrochemical reaction mechanism, excellent electrochemical properties, such as high initial capacities, high initial Coulombic efficiencies, stable cycle behaviors, and fast-rate capabilities, were attained from the preparation of a nanostructured SiP2/C composite. This 3D crystalline-framework-structured SiP2 compound will be a promising alternative anode material in the realization and mass production of excellent, rechargeable LIBs.</P>
호중구감소증 환자에서의 기관-기관지 아스페르길루스증 1예

저자들은 급성 림프구성 백혈병 환자에서 항암치료 후 호중구감소증이 지속되는 상태에서 침습성 아스페르길루스증의 드문 형태인 치명적인 아스페르길루스 기관기관지염을 경험하고 문헌고찰과 함께 증례를 보고하는 바이다. Tracheobronchial aspergillosis is an uncommon clinical form of invasive aspergillosis, particularly found in patients with AIDS and in lung transplant recipients than in other immunocompromised patients. The rapidity of the disease progression can result in fatal airway obstruction in a short period of time that the patient may need emergency tracheostomy without knowing the cause of the obstruction. We describe a case of fatal tracheobronchial aspergillosis which developed in a 43-year-old female patient with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Dyspnea and stridor developed on the 20th day after 2nd consolidation chemotherapy, which was during the prolonged neutropenic period. Airway narrowing was observed on the computed tomograph scan of neck and emergency tracheostomy was performed. Infiltration with aspergillus hyphae was found in the tracheal ring and bronchial mucosa. Despite the use of amphotericin B, the patient died of bleeding and airway obstruction.
Aspergillosis in a Korean Native Goat

Pulmonary pyogranuloma due to aspergillosis was observed in a young Korean native goat raised in Korea. At necropsy, multiple cheese-like white nodules were detected throughout all lung lobes, with diffuse mild lung edema. Microscopically, pyogranulomatous lesions consisted of central necrotic debri and peripheral layers including inner layer of neutrophils and lymphocytes, and outer fibrosis layer. Giant cells were scattered between inner and outer layers in the periphery of this lesion. Some parts of pyogranulomatous lesions had necrosis in the peripheral lesions, resulting in spreading the Aspergillus into the adjacent alveoli. Aspergillus hyphae were detected in the central and peripheal areas of pyogranulomas by Periodic acid Schiff reaction. From these results, this case was diagnosed as pulmonary aspergillosis in a Korean native goat. This is the first report about pulmonary pyogranuloma due to aspergillosis in Korean native goat raised in Korea. Since over 60 species of Aspergillus cause diverse diseases into varied organs and tissues of many animals, further characterization of Aspergillus will need to perform using the isolates from the pulmonary pyogranulomas in the goats.

Objective Suicide is a huge nationwide problem that incurs a lot of socio-economic costs. Suicide also inflicts severe distress on the people left behind. The government of the Republic of Korea has been making many policy efforts to reduce suicide rate. The gatekeeper program, ‘Suicide CARE’, is one of the meaningful modalities for preventing suicide. Methods Multidisciplinary research team collaborated to update the ‘Suicide CARE’ to version 2.0. Results In the ‘Introductory part’, the authors have the time to think about the necessity and significance of the program before conducting full-scale gatekeeper training. In the ‘Careful observation’ part, trainees learn how to understand and recognize the various linguistic, behavioral, and situational signals that a person shows before committing suicide. In the ‘Active listening’ part, trainees learn how to ask suicide with a value-neutral attitude as well listening empathetically. In the ‘Risk evaluation and Expert referral’ part, trainees learn intervening strategies to identify a person’s suicidal intention, plan, and past suicide attempts, and connect the person to appropriate institutes or services. Conclusion Subsequent studies should be conducted to verify the efficacy of the gatekeeper program.
