      • Fabrication of flexible UV nanoimprint mold with fluorinated polymer-coated PET film

        <P>UV curing nanoimprint lithography is one of the most promising techniques for the fabrication of micro- to nano-sized patterns on various substrates with high throughput and a low production cost. The UV nanoimprint process requires a transparent template with micro- to nano-sized surface protrusions, having a low surface energy and good flexibility. Therefore, the development of low-cost, transparent, and flexible templates is essential. In this study, a flexible polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film coated with a fluorinated polymer material was used as an imprinting mold. Micro- and nano-sized surface protrusion patterns were formed on the fluorinated polymer layer by the hot embossing process from a Si master template. Then, the replicated pattern of the fluorinated polymer, coated on the flexible PET film, was used as a template for the UV nanoimprint process without any anti-stiction coating process. In this way, the micro- to nano-sized patterns of the original master Si template were replicated on various substrates, including a flat Si substrate and curved acryl substrate, with high fidelity using UV nanoimprint lithography.</P>

        본 고는 재난관리기관의 다원화로 인하여 발생할 수 있는 수자원의 통합관제, 기후변화 대응의 어려움을 극복할 수 있는 방안이며 물정보 공유 및 분석을 통한 유역단위 통합 연계방법인 홍수재해통합관리시스템 구축에 관한 연구이다. K-water는 2011년 이후부터 저비용, 고효율의 홍수재해감시제어 전용툴(Smart TM)을 자체개발・적용하였으며 실시간 수문관측시스템, 홍수모니터링 기준을 수립하여 관리시스템을 체계화 하였다. 또한 유관기관(지자체, 기상청, 홍수통제소 등) 데이터 통합관리 방안을 제시하여 ICT 기반의 과학적인 재난예측 및 선제적 대응체계의 구축 필요성을 설명하였다. 이와 관련하여 인제군의 구축사례를 통해 홍수재해통합관제시스템을 해당 지자체에 기술을 적용하는 과정을 보여주고 있다. 자연재해에서 큰 비중을 차지하는 홍수재해를 효과적으로 예방함으로써 사후복구보다 예방을 강조하여 재난관리시스템의 패러다임을 변화시키고자 하였다.

        Serum Testosterone Level Can Be Predictive Factor for Upstaging in Clinically Localized Prostate Cancer

        Purpose: To determine an appropriate surgical technique, it is important to predict pathological results for patients with clinically localized prostate cancer (PCa) eligible for nerve-sparing radical prostatectomy (NSRP). Several studies have highlighted that serum testosterone level was associated with aggressive features of PCa. Therefore, we analyzed factors, including serum testosterone, to predict upstaging and upgrading after surgery for patients with clinically localized PCa eligible for NSRP. Materials and Methods: We retrospectively evaluated patients who underwent radical prostatectomy (RP) between January 2015 and May 2018 at our institution. Patients with Gleason grade group 1 or 2 on biopsy, prostate-specific antigen<10, and ≤clinical/radiologic stage T2 were included in this study. Upstaging and upgrading were defined as pathological stage≥T3a and Gleason grade group≥3, respectively. We evaluated the patients’ demographics and outcomes according to upstaging and upgrading after surgery. Predictive factors for upstaging and upgrading were analyzed using a multivariate logistic regression model. Results: Of 108 patients included in the study, upstaging and upgrading after surgery were observed in 24 (22.2%) and 36 (33.3%), respectively. Low serum testosterone level, small prostate size, and positive core number≥3 on biopsy were identified as predictive factors for upstaging in multivariate analysis. Although serum testosterone was associated with upgrading in univariate analysis, only clinical/radiologic stage and biopsy Gleason grade group were observed as predictive factors for upgrading in multivariate analysis. Conclusions: Serum testosterone level was identified as a predictive factor for upstaging after RP for clinically localized PCa eligible for NSRP.

        하악골에 발생한 Juvenile Active Ossifying Fibroma의 치험례

        Juvenile active ossifying fibroma is a rare, benign, fibro-osseous tumor that is frequently found at the time of molar teeth development. In the case of a 5 year-old male described, the tumor was located from the sigmoid notch to the mental foramen of the left mandible. The surgical procedure of the enucleation with a Sonotec and of the rib bone graft was presented. The tumor is one form of fibro-osseous lesion of the mandible. We reviewed about the classification and differential diagnosis of the osseous fibr-osseous lesion of the mandible.

        Predictive Factors of De Novo Overactive Bladder After Radical Prostatectomy in Patients With Clinically Localized Prostate Cancer: A Prospective Observational Study

        Purpose: To evaluate the incidence of de novo overactive bladder (OAB) and the factors related to its occurrence following radical prostatectomy (RP) in patients with clinically localized prostate cancer (PCa). Materials and Methods: We prospectively examined 50 patients without OAB who underwent RP for clinically localized PCa in our institution from August 2019 to February 2020. We performed assessments using the International Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS), the Overactive Bladder Symptom Score (OABSS), and uroflowmetry before surgery and 3 months after RP. OAB was defined as a score of 1 or more on the urgency components of the OABSS. Three months after RP, the patients were divided into 2 groups based on the presence of de novo OAB symptoms. We evaluated the patients’ demographics and outcomes after RP according to their de novo OAB grouping. The predictive factors of de novo OAB after RP were analyzed using a multivariate logistic regression model. Results: Of the 50 patients, 22 (44%) had de novo OAB 3 months after RP. The patients in the de novo OAB group were older, had higher preoperative IPSS storage subscores, and had larger volumes of postvoid residual urine on preoperative uroflowmetry than those in the non-de novo OAB group. Multivariate analysis showed that age and preoperative IPSS storage subscores were predictive factors of de novo OAB after RP. Conclusions: De novo OAB was observed in 44% of the patients 3 months after RP. Age and preoperative IPSS storage subscores were predictive factors of de novo OAB following RP.

        장기간 복합운동이 고령자의 심폐기능과 신체조성에 미치는 영향

        This study was designed to investigate the effect of a year aerobic combined with resistance weight training on cardiorespiratory function and body composition of elders. The subjects for this study were thirty healthy elderly people who were members of seniors tower at Song-Do hospital and didn`t have any history of cardiorepiratory disease. The subjects were divided into two groups: aerobic combined with resistance weight training group(n=16), and aerobic training group(n=14). Both groups have been trained three times a week for a year. The exercise program for both groups was made up of a 15-minute warm-up, cool-down. Stretching was performed every ten minutes for the prevention of injuries which could occur during the main exercise and quick recovery of the used muscle. Aerobic training was performed for each 10-20minutes using the treadmill and cycle ergometer at the intensity of 50-70% HRmax. The resistance weight training was performed for each 3set using the reg press, reg extension, reg curl, back extension, abdominal flexion, and torso at 60% of one-repetition maximum. One repetition maximum(1RM) of each person in all the six terms measured prior to training performance. For the data, all the measurements were represented b, mean(M) and standard deviation(SD) using SAS Package(version 6.12). Statistical techniques for data analysis were ANCOVA to determine the difference among groups. The 5% level of significance was used as the critical level for acceptance of hypotheses for the study. The following results were obtained from this study. 1. In the aerobic exercise group and the aerobic combined with resistance weight training group, rest RPP decreased significantly after a year training. 2. In the aerobic exercise group and the aerobic combined with resistance weight training group, there wasn`t a significant difference in rest HR after a year training. 3. In the aerobic exercise group and the aerobic combined with resistance weight training group, there wasn`t a significant difference in V02max after a year training. 4. In the aerobic exercise group and the aerobic combined with resistance weight training group, there wasn`t significant difference in rest systolic blood pressure while diastolic blood pressure decreased significantly after a year training. 5. In the aerobic exercise group and the aerobic combined with resistance weight training group, waist to hip ratio decreased significantly while fat mass(kg), %body fat, and lean body mass(kg) weren`t significant difference after a year training. In conclusion, the result of this study suggests that this kind of aerobic combined with resistance weight training can contribute to the better improvement in the cardiorespiratory function. In the changes of body composition, though there was only decreased significant waist to hip ratio between the two groups. Although the statistical significance of the change was not discovered, aerobic combined with resistance weight training group showed that the tendency of fat mass(kg), %body fat loss and lean body mass(kg) were increased after a year training. Therefore, carrying out a long period of aerobics and resistance weight training at the same time is considered to be proper exercise programs to the development risk of heart disease and to prevent all kinds of regressive diseases and reduce body fat in elderly people. More effective and various exercise programs should be developed in the near future to be helpful with the elderly people.
