To detemine seasonal fluctuations in abundance and speices composition, polychaete samples were collected by Van Veen grab form March to November 2003 in Kangjin Bay. A total of 25,119.3 ind./㎡ polycaete were sampled and identified into 48 species. 25 families and 10 orders. Of the 10 orders. Phllodocida, Spionida, Eunicida and Sabellida accounted for approximately 79.9% of the polychaete fauna in this area. Phyllodocida, Nereidae, Nephtyidae ans Spionidae were dominant representing every moment 4 species. Of 48 species identified Neanthes japonica, Prionospio pinnate, Cirratulus cirratus and Palola siciliensis for 54.0% individuals collected. Season succession of dominant species was evident in study area: Neanthes japonica, Prionospio pinnata. Cirratulus cirratus. Nephtys oligobranchia in March, Neanthes japonica, Lumbrineris japonica. Cirratulus cirratus, Prionospio pinnata in May, Ncanthes japonica, Cirratulus cirratus, Lumbrineris nippnica. Lumbrineris japonica in August and Neanthes japonica, Prionospio pinnata, Laonice cirrata, Palola siciliensis in November, respectively. The diversity index was the highest value in March(H'=3.0059) and the lowest value in May(H'=2.7305). The eveness index was the highest in August(J=0.9184) and lowest in May(J=0.8524). The dominance index was the highest in May(D=0.3843) and the lowest in March(D=0.2275).

프레임 분석을 통해서 본 언론의 규범적 가치와 실제: 아프간 선교단체 피랍사건 보도에 나타난 편향성을 중심으로

Is the religion free from media biases characterized by fairness, balance and objectivity? If biased representation occurs in reporting those issues like religion, nation, race, gender and class, what kinds of harmful impacts come into being? Until now, though, there existed few studies which focus on religious reporting. The purpose of this study is to unearth the bias of the media reporting on the christianity exposed with kidnapped Afghanistan missionary group. The kidnapped group was selected as the case study given the largest scale of Korean missionary history. Also did relatively hostile and less accurate news about the story make it of valuable research. While acknowledging that media``s unfairness can be identified with frames consisted of a pack of logical statements, it has analyzed total 215 articles from various newspapers. Such frames as price of ministry, good intention, pragmatism, aggressive mission work, religious hostility, religious faith, financial gain, deviant behaviors and justifiable responsibility were employed for this purpose. It turns out that the media applied different frames in accordance with not only public opinion but their own political stance. While most of Korean media showed strong antipathy against the case, there found strong sympathy on Taleban militants accused of violating human rights. Surprisingly, the Korean media failed to correct false information in way of satisfying public mood. The media have a strong influence on collective memory, collective identity, system of norms and faith in community. Distorted reappearance by the media intensifies specific prejudice and makes negative public opinion. This study will be a valuable starting point to examine the desirable relationship between journalistic norms and public mood in time of crisis.

한국종교저널리즘의 진화 -< 기독신보 > 창간과정과 의의를 중심으로-

이 논문의 목적은 한국언론의 암흑기인 일제강점 초기(1915)에 창간되어 21년여 동안 주간으로 발행된 < 기독신보 >의 창간과정과 의의를 연구하기위한 것이다. < 기독신보 >는 기독교 관련 소식은 물론 일반 사회 관련 문제도 다루었기 때문에 일제강점기의 한국교회와 한국사회를 들여다볼 수 있는 중요한 사료 중 하나이다. 그러나 일부 한국교회사 연구자들 외에는 < 기독신보 >에 대하여 제대로 알지 못하며, 언론학 연구자들의 연구대상이 되지도 못했다. 이 신문의 창간에 관한 체계적 연구는 그동안 이루어지지 않았다. 이 연구를 통해 < 기독신 보 > 창간의 배경을 비롯해 창간 논의 과정, 창간 준비 및 계획, 창간 후 편집체제와 운영방식, 창간초기의 경영상태 등에 대해 살펴보았다. 창간호와 초창기 발행 신문들을 통해 창간정신, 편집체제 등을 확인할 수 있었다. 구한말 < 죠션크리스도인회보 >와 < 그리스도신문 >의 창간 및 통합, 분리후 재통합을 거친 < 기독신보 >의 창간과 발행은 종교저널리즘이자, 한국저널리즘의 일부로 이해할 수있다. 미국 감리교 선교회와 장로교 선교회의 연합언론활동이 초창기 한국저널리즘의 역사에서 일부역할을 했기 때문이다. 이와 같이 < 기독신보 > 창간에 관한 연구를 통해 한국저널리즘 역사에서 종교저널리즘의 등장과 진화과정을 보여주고자 하였다. This research aims at looking into both the foundation process and its implications on Korean society of the Christian Messenger issued weekly from 1915 to 1937, the time of Japanese colonialism. Taking into academic value interwoven with society in general and Korean church in particular, there is little doubt on the importance of the paper. Unfortunately though neither journalism researchers nor church historians has paid adequate level of attention to. Especially research on the foundation process and its significance of this paper has not been visited at all. This paper attempts to unearth the background of the Christian Messenger foundation, main agents of the foundation and process of the arguments, preparations and plans on the one hand. Such factors as foundation spirit, editing forms, and decision making processes were disclosed on the other hand. Korean journalism owes much to a wide range of activities facilitated by Christian missionary foundations. It is also undeniable that not only main philosophy but normative orientation of those early newspapers had much to do with religious goals. With this study, the author hopes to reconstruct the relationship between journalistic features and the role of Korean church in the early 20th century.

이 논문의 목적은「기독신보」의 폐간과정 연구를 통해 한국교회연합 차원의 바람직한 기독교 저널리즘의 운영 방향을 찾기 위한 것이다.「기독신보」는 한국언론의 암흑기로 표현되는 일제강점 초기인 1915년 초창기 한국 교회의 장?감 교파연합 신문으로 창간되었으나, 1937년 7월 28일 사령 1129호를 마지막으로 발간한 후 휴간을 거쳐 폐간되고 말았다.「기독신보」는 조선총독부의 기관지를 제외한 유일의 신문이었고, 특히 한글로 제작되어 국내는 물론 해외 동포들에게까지 뉴스를 전하는 언론의 역할을 해냈다. 1920년 일제의 식민지 정책이 기존의 무단정치에서 문화정치로 전환하면서 한글신문이 등장하기 이전에는 한국언론의 명맥을 유지한 유일의 신문으로서 가치가 크다. 이처럼 일제강점기에「기독신보」가 한국교회 연합의 매개체로서, 한국인을 위한 언론으로서 공헌을 해냈지만, 한국교회 내 헤게모니 싸움의 한복판에서 희생양이 되고 말았다.「기독신보」의 폐간은 한국교회는 물론 한국사회에 커다란 손실로 지적될 만큼 아쉬운 점이 많이 있지만, 바람직한 교회연합 사업의 방향을 찾기 위한 역사적 교훈을 얻을 수 있다는 점에서 이 신문의 폐간 과정을 살펴보는 의의가 있다 하겠다. 특히 한국교회연합 신문의 필요성이 절실한 오늘날 한국사회와 한국교회를 위해 요구되는 바람직한 기독교 저널리즘의 출현과 준비를 위해서도「기독신보」의 폐간 과정의 역사적 교훈을 반추하는 연구와 작업이 필요한 것이다. 「기독신보」의 폐간 과정은 오늘날에도 동일하게 한국교회가 해결해야할 모순을 그대로 보여준 사건이었다. 최초의 한국인사장으로서 많은 기대를 한몸에 받으며 사장에 취임한 전필순은「기독신보」가 이어온 민주적 경영방식의 전통을 사장 1인 중심체제로 전환하고,「기독신보」의 소유권을 주장 및 행사함으로써, 조선예수교서회와의 돌이킬 수 없는 갈등 상황이 전개되었고, 폐간의 파국으로 끝났던 것이다.「기독신보」의 전통은 한국인과 선교사가 발행인ㆍ편집인ㆍ사장ㆍ주필(주간) 등의 직책을 협력형태로 나누어 맡아 민주적으로 경영해온 것인데, 한국인사장이 등장하자마자 발행인, 편집인을 겸직한데다 곧이어 편집국장까지 겸무하는 CEO의 단독경영으로 돌아선 것이다. 경영권이 한 사람에게 집중됨으로써 조선예수교서회 건물에서「기독신보」짐을 꾸려 이사 가는 행위까지 벌어질 수 있었던 것이다.「기독신보」의 발행인이 서양선교사라고 해서 서양선교사 개인의 소유가 아니었던 것처럼, 전필순이 발행인이 되었다고 해서 그의 개인신문이 될 수는 없는 것이었다. 「기독신보」의 폐간 과정에서 볼 수 있듯이, 어느 개인이나 집단의 주장이나 주도로서는 교회연합 신문이 본연의 역할을 할 수 없으며, 한국교회가 민주적으로 함께 참여하여 운영하는 것만이 성공을 위한 최상의 방법이라 하겠다.

포천 늘거리 유적 석기에 대한 암석학적 특성 및 산지추정

본 연구에서는 경기도 포천시 관인면 중리 늘거리 유적지에서 출토된 일부 석기의 육안 및 현미경 관찰 그리고 모드분석 결과를 근거로 주변 지역에 대한 야외지질조사를 통해 석기의 산지를 추정하였다. 연구에 사용된 늘거리 석기 12점은 화산회 응회암, 화산력 응회암, 화강반암, 안산암, 섬록반암 등의 암석으로 동정되었으며, 석기의 용도와 암석의 종류를 살펴보면 격지는 다양한 암석으로, 돌날과 돌조각은 주로 응회암질 암석으로 제작되었다. 석기의 산지로 화산력 응회암은 철원분지에 분포하는 동막골 응회암, 화강반암은 옥산리 남동쪽, 연천 동쪽에 소규모 암주로 산출되는 백악기 관입암류인 화강반암, 안산암은 유적지 북쪽에 위치한 안산암체가 그 산지로 밝혀졌으며, 섬록반암은 유적지 남쪽에서 위치한 섬록암체가 산지로 추정된다. 산지해석 결과, 연구 대상 석기는 유적지로부터 최대 15 ㎞ 이내의 주변에서 산출되는 암석과 같거나 유사하다. Neulgeori prehistoric site is located at Joong-ri Kwanin-myon Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, where lots of stone artefacts were excavated. We investigated the petrological features of the artefacts through petrographical observation and modal analysis. In addition we estimated the provenance of the artefacts by means of the geological survey. The twelve stone artefacts used in this study are identified as ash tuff, lapilli tuff, granite porphyry, andesite and diorite porphyry. Various rocks were used for making flakes, whereas blades and debris were from the tuffaceous rocks. Lapilli tuff is considered to have been delivered from the Dongmakgol tuff in the Cheolwon basin, granite porphyry from the Cretaceous granite porphyry stocks cropped out at the southeastern Oksan-ri and eastern Yeoncheon areas. Andesite artefact would have been originated from the outcrops located at the northern part of the site, and diorite porphyry artefact from the southern part of the site. The stone artefacts investigated are estimated to have been transported from the area within 15 kilometers from the site.
