웨이블렛 변환을 이용한 정전 탐침 자료 분석 알고리즘 개발

ECR 식각 플라즈마에서 정전 Langmuir 탐침으로 얻은 자료의 해석을 위하여 Dauberchies 웨이블렛과 이중 직교 웨이블렛 변환을 이용한 새로운 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 이 알고리즘을 이용한 자료해석 방식에서는 해석자의 선택적 입력 값을 최소로 하고 자료의 잡음제거시 일반적으로 사용하고 있는 평균을 기초로 하는 통계적인 방법을 사용하지 않았다. 본 알고리즘에서는 Dauberchies 웨이블렛을 이용하여 자료의 저주파 성분만을 추출함으로 포화 이온 및 전자 전류성분을 변환 자료에서 직접 구하였다. 또한, 원시 자료의 1차 미분자료에 대한 이중 직교 웨이블레서 변환을 이용하여 플라즈마 전위를 직접 구할 수 있어 웨이블렛 변환을 거치는 과정에서 플라즈마 전자온도를 구하는 영역이 일관성 있게 정의되었다. 전자분포 모델은 ECR 플라즈마의 특징인 hot과 bulk의 두 가지 온도를 가지는 bi-Maxwallian 분포로 가정하고 Martquardt 방법을 사용한 비선형 fitting 방법으로 두 가지 전자 온도를 구하였다. 포화 이온 및 전자 전류 곡선의 플라즈마 전위에 해당하는 전류 값으로부터 플라즈마 이온 및 전자 밀도를 얻었으며 임의의 자료에 대한 알고리즘의 정확성 검사 결과 90%이상의 정확도를 보였다. A new algorithm for automating the analysis of Langmuir-probe traces taken from the ECR magnetized plasma is developed through the Daubechies wavelet and the bi-orthogonal wavelet transformations. This approach minimizes the operator-specified inputs and provides de-noised data without using the statistical method based on the averaging techniques. In this algorithm, the electron and ion current lines are obtained from the low frequency information of the Daubechies wavelet processed data. From the bi-orthogonal wavelet transform for the differentiated data, the plasma potential can be clearly determined. The region for obtaining the electron temperature can be systematically chosen from these processed data without operator-specified inputs. The electrons are modeled by a bi-Maxwellian distribution with hot and cold temperatures and nonlienar fitting method (a Martquardt method) is used to determine the electron temperatures from this region. Ion and electron plasma densities are obtained from the ion and the electron current at the plasma potential, respectively. The evaluation results by using the artificially generated data shows over 90% accuracy.
병렬 및 분산 컴퓨팅 : 이기종 컴퓨팅 환경에서 OpenCL을 사용한 포토모자이크 응용의 효율적인 작업부하 분배

최근 고성능 컴퓨팅과 모바일 컴퓨팅에서 성능가속기를 사용하는 병렬처리 방법들이 소개되어왔다. 포토모자이크 응용은 내재된 데이터 병렬성을 활용하고 성능가속기를 사용하여 병렬처리가 가능하다. 본 논문에서는 CPU와 GPU로 구성된 이기종 컴퓨팅 환경에서 포토모자이크 수행 시 작업부하 분배 방법을 제안한다. 즉, 포토모자이크 응용을 비동기 방식으로 병렬화하여 CPU와 GPU 자원을 동시에 활용하고, 각 처리기에 할당할 최적의 작업부하량을 예측하기 위해 CPU-only와 GPU-only 작업 분배 환경에서 수행시간을 측정한다. 제안 방법은 간단하지만 매우 효과적이고, CPU와 GPU로 구성된 이기종 컴퓨팅 환경에서 다른 응용을 병렬화하 데에도 적용될 수 있다. 실험 결과, 이기 종 컴퓨팅 환경에서 최적의 작업 분배량으로 수행한 경우, GPU-only의 방법과 비교하여 141%의 성능이 개선되었음을 확인한다. Recently, parallel processing methods with accelerator have been introduced into a high performance computing and a mobile computing. The photomosaic application can be parallelized by using inherent data parallelism and accelerator. In this paper, we propose a way to distribute the workload of the photomosaic application into a CPU and GPU heterogeneous computing environment. That is, the photomosaic application is parallelized using both CPU and GPU resource with the asynchronous mode of OpenCL, and then the optimal workload distribution rate is estimated by measuring the execution time with CPU-only and GPU-only distribution rates. The proposed approach is simple but very effective, and can be applied to parallelize other applications on a CPU and GPU heterogeneous computing environment. Based on the experimental results, we confirm that the performance is improved by 141% into a heterogeneous computing environment with the optimal workload distribution compared with using GPU-only method.

Ischemic colitis represents most common form of gastrointestinal ischemia, usually developed in elderly or debilitated patient with a variety of underlying medical problems. The presumed etiologies are numerous. It usually presents as an acute abdominal illness with bloody diarrhea. Subacute ischemic colitis in healthy adults develops spontaneously in the absence of major vasculature occlusion, and the original insult precipitating the ischemic event usually cannot be established. Diagnosis is based on the clinical symptom, barium study, colonoscopic and histopathologic findings. Therapy and outcome are dependent on the severity of disease. It usually requires only medical management and is asso-ciated a good prognosis. We report a case of subacute ischemic colitis in healthy adults developed after severe watery diarrhea with literatures.
Comparative Analysis of Speech Recognition Open API Error Rate

Speech recognition technology refers to a technology in which a computer interprets the speech language spoken by a person and converts the contents into text data. This technology has recently been combined with artificial intelligence and has been used in various fields such as smartphones, set-top boxes, and smart TVs. Examples include Google Assistant, Google Home, Samsung's Bixby, Apple's Siri and SK's NUGU. Google and Daum Kakao offer free open APIs for speech recognition technologies. This paper selects three APIs that are free to use by ordinary users, and compares each recognition rate according to the three types. First, the recognition rate of "numbers" and secondly, the recognition rate of "Ga Na Da Hangul" are conducted, and finally, the experiment is conducted with the complete sentence that the author uses the most. All experiments use real voice as input through a computer microphone. Through the three experiments and results, we hope that the general public will be able to identify differences in recognition rates according to the applications currently available, helping to select APIs suitable for specific application purposes.

Oxidized low-density lipoprotein (oxLDL) plays a key role in the inflammatory processes of atherosclerosis. Jaceosidin isolated from the methanolic extracts of the aerial parts of Artemisia princeps Pampanini cv. Sajabal was tested for antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities. Jaceosidin inhibited the $Cu^{2+}-mediated$ LDL oxidation with $IC_{50}$ values of 10.2 ${\mu}M$ in the thiobarbituric acid-reactive substances (TBARS) assay as well as the macrophage-mediated LDL oxidation. The antioxidant activities of jaceosidin were exhibited in the conjugated diene production, relative electrophoretic mobility, and apoB-100 fragmentation on copper-mediated LDL oxidation. Jaceosidin also inhibited the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) concerning in regulation of $NF-{\kappa}B$ signaling. And jaceosidin inhibited nuclear factor-kappa B $(NF-{\kappa}B)$ activity, nitric oxide (NO) production, and suppressed expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced RAW264.7 macrophages.

Forty patients with histologically proven gynecomastia were analysed. We reviewed the clinical properties and histopathologic types of the gynecomastia, and suggest a reasonable approach to this clinical problems posed by the patient with breast enlargement. The result we found includes: 1) The peak incidence of 50% occurred in the teen-age group. 2) Bilateral gynecomastia was found in 11 patients. In 29 patients with unilateral gynecomastia the right breast was involved more often than left, 19 vs. 10, respectively. 3) All palpable masses were located at the central breast tissue including the subareolar region. 4) In 56% of the patients, the size of the mass was more than 5cm in diameter. 5) Associated pathologic conditions were found in 9 patients. They were Klinefelter's syndrome, pulmonary tuberculosis, hepatitis, true hermaphroditism, liver cirrhosis and hypertension. 6) Histopathologically, 50% were florid type, 37.5% were fibrous type, 12.5% were intermediate type.
