        This study is to extend bandwith for the microstrip antenna by parasitic patch devices. Applying two 1/4 wave length parasitic patches both side of microstrip patch, the bandwidth is able to be controlled by the parasitic couplings. We used the Tschebyscheff transformer for multisection matching network to give broadband transformation. It is designed for wireless MMDS CATV antenna and design antenna is fabricated by epoxy substrate of 1.2mm thickness, 4.4 relative permittivity. The theory is well agreed that the results of measurement of S11 has 2.88% band characteristic.

      • 경남 마산시 및 전남 승주군 일대에서 채집된 관박쥐의 중금속 오염에 관한 연구

        Investigation of heavy metals (Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu, Pb, Cd, and Hg) content accumulated in the greater horseshoe bat, Rhinolophus ferrumequinum, was carried out on samples collected from urban (Masan city) and rural (Sungju-gun) habitats. Toxic metals, Pb, Cd and Hg, were detected in all the samples analyzed, suggesting that both urban and rural populations were contaminated with these metals. However, differences of heavy metal concentation in the bats captured in urban and rural area were not found. This result may come from that bats have a long range(about 20~30 ㎞) of feeding habitats.

        Dual-fed circulary polarized microstrip 1 by 2 array antenna is designed and fabricated. To have circular polarization, we applied power splitter with 90 degree phase shifter by the length exetension. A 1 by 2 uniformed array antenna was designed and measured, and compared with theoretical values. The bandwidth characteristic is well coincided with the designed valued, but the center frequency for the GPS 1.575GHz differed sligthly by the reason of the substrate tolerance.

        소액 지불 전자상거래 환경을 위한 프로토콜의 설계 및 구현

        An electronic micropayment system, one of electronic payment systems, is suitable especially when a small amount of money is to be paid frequently in order to purchase on-line goods (i.e., database search, software distribution, electronic news service, etc). In addition, since the amount of payment is small, possible damages caused by system failures are lower than other payment systems. In this paper, a micropayment protocol in electronic commerce environments on the internet is proposed, based on the PayWord system. And a micropayment electronic commerce system which executes the protocol proposed is implemented. Unlike the PayWord system, however, the micropayment protocol proposed in this paper is designed in such a way that a merchant does not need to request a payment at the end of every business day since a customer cannot purchase goods beyond length of hash chains, which is specified on a certificate. In addition, the system is able to check the validity as well as the duplicate spending of hash chains. The electronic micropayment system with the proposed protocol is consists of Customers, Merchants, and Brokers. Customers are implemented on Windows NT 4.0 using VC ++. Merchants are implemented on Solaris 2.5.1 and gcc 2.8.0 using Netscape Web Server and CGI methods. HP UX 10.20 is used for Brokers.

        오행화침법(五行和鍼法)의 이론적 고찰 및 운용

        Objectives: The object of this study is to report on the theory of Ohaeng-Hwa Acupuncture Therapy. Methods: The theory of Ohaeng-Hwa Acupuncture Therapy(OHAT; 五行和針法) is a part of the Five Elements Theory unique to Korea. This research Classic of Difficulty Issues-Nan Jing review Ohaeng-Hwa Acupuncture Therapy. Results: OHAT, created and developed by Jae-hoon Song, integrates the victor-vanquished as well as the son-mother relationship of the Five Elements of breakdown and restoration of balance between yin and yang. And also, it provides resources and data on The seventy fifth Nan(75難), The sixty ninth Nan(69難) of Classic of Difficulty Issues-Nan Jin 75, 69. OHAT establishes objectiveness and accuracy of diagnosis based upon the traditional method and procedure of pulse taking. In OHAT, a person`s state of illness is diagnosed by applying the comparative examination of the palpitation of the pulse. It is the fact that the pulse varies according to the state, and that OHAT treatment has proven the positive results by using the victor-vanquished relationship on The Nan Jin 75. On the basis of this, it is necessary to add the sixty ninth Nan(69難), to research the theory of the generation of the Five Element. Conclusions: Ohaeng-Hwa Acupuncture is very effective in treating the wide range of illness, and thus it has gained an increasing attention of many scholars and practitioners in the field of traditional Korean oriental medicine. However, it is the first theoretical attempt to the clinical research and scientific methodology of Ohaeng(Five) Ohaeng-Hwa Acupuncture, and more active Ohaeng-Hwa Acupuncture R&D is being conducted nationwide.

        수 종의 도재 수복물에 부착된 세라믹 브라켓의 전단접착강도와 파절양상에 열순환이 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 도재 수복물에 부착된 단결정 세라믹 브라켓의 전단접착강도와 파절양상에 열순환과 도재 수복물의 종류가 어떤 영향을 미치는지 알아보기 위해 시행되었다. 도재전장관에 사용되는 재료들 중 Ceramco 3, Empress II, Zi-ceram/Vintage ZR 세 가지를 선택하여 각 20개씩 총 60개의 시편을 원반형태(두께 2 mm, 직경 12 mm)로 제작하였다. 동일한 접착 술식으로 세라믹 브라켓을 부착한 후 열순환을 시행한 실험군과 시행하지 않은 대조군, 두 군으로 나누어 전단접착강도와 파절양상을 평가하였다. 열순환을 하지 않은 대조군의 전단접착강도는 Ceramco 3는 7.06 ± 1.76 MPa, Empress II는 7.55 ± 2.38 MPa 그리고 Zi-ceram/Vintage ZR은 7.19 ± 1.38 MPa로 추천되는 전단접착강도(6 - 8 MPa)에 적합한 강도를 보였으나 열순환을 시행한 실험군은 전단접착강도가 유의하게 감소하였으며(p < 0.05) 열순환 후의 전단접착강도는 Ceramco 3는 4.88 ± 1.00 MPa, Empress II는 5.46 ± 1.35 MPa 그리고 Zi-ceram/ Vintage ZR은 4.84 ± 1.01 MPa로 임상적으로 추천되는 것보다 다소 낮은 값을 보였다. 도재의 종류에 따른 전단접착강도에는 유의한 차이가 없었다. 파절양상은 대조군에서는 모두 브라켓 기저부와 접착제 사이에서 파절이 일어났으며, 실험군에서는 2개의 시편(Ceramco 3과 Zi-ceram/Vintage ZR군에서 각 1개)만이 접착제내 파절을 보였으며 28개의 시편은 브라켓 기저부와 접착제 사이에서 파절이 일어났다. 이상의 연구 결과에서 보았을 때 도재 수복물의 종류에 따른 차이는 없었으나 열순환에 의해 전단접착강도가 약화되므로 실제 임상에서 고려되어야 할 것이다. Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of thermocycling and type of porcelain restoration on shear bond strength (SBS) and mode of failure of monocrystalline ceramic brackets. Methods: A total of 60 porcelain discs were made and divided into three equal groups as follows: Ceramco 3, IPS Empress II, Zi-ceram/Vintage ZR. ceramic brackets were bonded to the prepared porcelain surfaces in the same manner. Each group was divided randomly into two subgroups: thermocycled group and non-thermocycled group (control). All samples were tested in shear mode on an universal testing machine. Results: SBS of the non-thermocycled group was clinically acceptable (Ceramco 3: 7.06 ± 1.76 MPa, IPS Empress II: 7.55 ± 2.38 MPa, Zi-ceram/ Vintage ZR: 7.19 ± 1.38 MPa). But, SBS of the thermocycled group was significantly reduced (Ceramco 3: 4.88 ± 1.00 MPa, IPS Empress II: 5.46 ± 1.35 MPa, Zi-ceram/Vintage ZR: 4.84 ± 1.01 MPa, p < 0.05). There was no difference between the shear bond strength by type of porcelain restoration. All bonding failure occurred between bracket base and adhesive, except for 2 samples. Conclusions: The results of this study suggest that the type of porcelain restoration did not affect SBS, but thermocycling weakened SBS. Therefore, the effect of thermocycling should be considered when using ceramic brackets in practice.

      • 사람 태반조직 DNA Topoisomerase Ⅰ에 대한 Phosphorylation의 영향

        DNA topoisomerase I was prepared from human term placenta and the effects of phosphorylation/dephosphorylation to the enzyme activity have been investigated. hosphorylation of the enzyme by protein kinase'A or casein kinase II did not affect the activity of DNA topoisomerase I. But dephosphorylation of the enzyme by calf intestinal alkaline phosphatase decreased the DNA topoisomerase I activity. The inhibitory effects of camptothecin or 10-OH-camptothecin on the enzyme were not related to dephosphorylation of the enzyme. These results suggest that DNA topoisomerase I from human term placenta present in forms of phosphorylated, and regulation of the enzyme activity is related with phosphorylation/dephosphorylation of the enzyme.

      • 한국산 관박쥐 및 긴날개박쥐에 잔류하는 유기염소화합물

        1985년 9월부터 1986년 7월까지 경상남도 마산시와 통영군에서 관박쥐 및 긴날개박쥐를 채집하여 박쥐 체내에 잔류하는 유기염소화합물 (PCB, BHC, DDT)의 농도를 조직 (간, 흉근, 잔해)별로 측정한 결과 전 개체로부터 이들 화합물이 높은 농도로 검출되었고, 이로부터 이들 화합물의 강한 잔류성이 시사되었다. 또한 검출된 화합물의 농도는 박쥐의 종류 [관박쥐 (평균), PCB(0.25 ppm) > BHC(0.19 ppm) > DDT(0.05 ppm) ; 긴날개박쥐 (평균), DDT(1.97 ppm) > BHC(1.63 ppm) > PCB(0.30 ppm) > 및 조직부위 [관박쥐, 잔해 (0.70 ppm) > 간 (0.40 ppm) > 흉근(0.37 ppm) ; 긴날개박쥐, 잔해 (5.61 ppm) > 흉근(4.96 ppm) > 간 (1.12 ppm)]에 따라 달랐으며 이는 이들 화합물외 사용 형태, 물리화학적성질 및 박쥐류의 서식환경, 식성과 생리등에 의해서 결정됨이 시사되었다. Residue levels of PCBs, BHC isomers and DDT compounds were examined in two species of bats, the greater horseshoe bat, Rhinolophus ferrumequinum korai and the long-fingered bat, Miniopterus schreibersi fuliginosus, collected from Masan City and Tongyoung-gun in Korea during the period from September 1985 to July 1986. From the high residue levels of the organochlorine compounds in the two species, prolonged persistency of these compounds were suggested. Further, the difference in contaminant levels in the two species (R.f.korai, PCB 0.25ppm > BHC 0.19ppm > DDT 0.05ppm; M. s. fuliginosus, DDT 1.97ppm > BHC 1.63 ppm > PCB 0.30 ppm) and in the tissues examined (R.f. korai, carcass (). 70ppm > liver 0.40ppm > breast muscle 0.37ppm ; M. s. fuliginosus, carcass 5.61ppm > breast muscle 4.96ppm > liver 1.12ppm) seemed to be due to the disparity in uses and physio-chemical properties of the compounds, and in habitat, food and physiology between the two species.
