Postoperative infection following orthognatic surgery is rare. When postoperative infections occur, the initial treatment consists of incision and drainage of the affected area, culturing to identify bacterial stains and verify antibiotic sensitivity, and the institution of the appropriate antibiotic regimen. Some plates and screws may eventually require removal, the initial therapy should be attempted to retain the plates and screws until adequete healing has taken place. In orthoganthic surgery, intra-operative complications as a lesion of inferior alveolar nerve, fracture of osteomised segments, incomplete sectioning, malposittion of segments, haemirrhage may occur. The surgeon should be familiar with possible complications to be caused and how to manage them. Prevention of postoperative infection following the orthognathic surgery consists of minimal periosteal reflection, aseptic management of operation field, proper surgical technique, rigid fixation, prophylactic antibiotics.
Computational Study on Protolytic Dissociation of HCl and HF in Aqueous Solution

The protolytic dissociation process of hydrochloric acid (HCl) and hydrofluoric acid (HF) is studied using the B3LYP and MP2 methods with the 6-311+G(d,p) basis set in the gas phase and in aqueous solution. To study the phenomena in detail, discrete and discrete/continuum models were applied by placing water molecules in various positions around the acid. The dissociation process was studied using the thermodynamic cycle involving the structures optimized both in the gas phase and in aqueous solution and was analyzed with two key energy factors, relaxation free energy (${\Delta}G_{Rex(g)}$) and solvation free energy (${\Delta}G_s$). Based on the results, we could understand the dissociation mechanism and wish to propose the best way to study acid dissociation process using the CPCM methodology in aqueous solution.

1. Objectives The Face is an important standard for the classification of Sasang Contitutions. Now We are developing 3D Face Automatic Recognition Apparatus to analyse the facial characteristics. This apparatus show us 3D image of man's face and measure facial figure. We should examine accuracy of position recognition in 3D Face Automatic Recognition Apparatus. 2. Methods We took a photograph of Face status with Land Mark 8 times using Face Automatic Recognition Apparatus. Each taking-photo, We span Face statusby 10 degree. At last time, We took a photograph of Face status's lateral face. And We analysed Error Averige of Distance between seven Land Marks. So We examined the accuracy of position recognition in 3D Face Automatic Recognition Apparatus at indirectly in degree changing of Face status. 3. Results and Conclusions According to degree change of Face status, Error Averige of Distance between Seven Land Marks is 0.1848mm. In conclusion, We assessed that accuracy of position recognition in 3D Face Automatic Recognition Apparatus is considerably good in spite of degree changing of Face status

Purpose: Previously, Seoul National University (SNU) prostate cancer (PC) stage calculator was developed to predict the pathological stage of clinically localized PC after radical prostatectomy (RP) in Korean men. We evaluated its generalizability and compared their clinical values with 2013 Partin tables by Korean multicenter cohort. Materials and Methods: Evaluated cohort consisted of 2,607 patients who had clinical stages T1c-T3a PC and were treated with RP at 14 institutions in Korea. After excluding 262 cases with prior hormone or radiation therapy and 604 cases with missing data, 1,741 cases were analyzed. Predictive accuracy was evaluated using the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC). The agreement between the predicted values with observed outcome was assessed with calibration plot. SNU PC stage calculator was compared with 2013 Partin tables applying to this cohort using DeLong method and decision curve analysis. Results: The accuracies of SNU PC stage calculator was all higher than those of 2013 Partin tables to predict organ-confined disease (0.755 vs. 0.711, p<0.001), extraprostatic extension (0.743 vs. 0.665, p<0.001), seminal vesicle invasion (0.833 vs. 0.764, p<0.001), and lymph node metastasis (0.842 vs 0.760, p=0.019). The observed outcomes were well calibrated with their predicted values by the calculator. Decision curve analyses demonstrated higher net benefits of SNU PC stage calculator compared with 2013 Partin tables.
