      • 동종 골수이식을 시행받은 환자에서 폐색성 세기관지염에 의하여 발생한 자발성 기종격동과 피하 기종

        저자들은 만성골수성백혈병으로 동종 골수이식과 이식편 부전으로 인하여 추가적인 말초혈액 조혈모세포이식을 시행 받은 환자에서 만성 이식편대숙주질환과 그 폐 합병증인 폐색성 세기관지염에 동반된 자발성 기종격동과 피하 기종이 병발한 1예를 경험하였기에 이를 보고하는 바이다. Obstructive lung disorders following after allogeneic bone marrow transplantation (BMT) in association with graft- versus-host disease (GVHD) contribute significant morbidity and mortality. We report a case of a 28-year-old man who developed spontaneous pneumomediatinum and subcutaneous emphysema complicating bronchiolitis obliterans after allogeneic BMT. He received an allogeneic BMT for chronic phase of chronic myeloid leukemia. Five months after BMT, he was boostered by allogeneic peripheral blood stem cells from the same donor due to graft failure. One month after the boostering, chronic GVHD developed and were treated with cyclosporine and steroid. The patients developed spontaneous pneumomediatinum and subcutaneous emphysema secondary to severe bronchiolitis obliterans 4 months after boostering donor cells. The air-leak syndromes were recovered by conservative management, including high-flow oxygen.

        과전류 보호계전기용 광섬유 전류센서

        과전류 보호계전기에 사용할 목적으로 광섬유를 센서헤드로 사용하는 광 전류센서를 구성하였다. 전류측정의 원리는 도체 주변에 감겨진 광섬유 코일을 따라 광신호의 선형편광축이 자기장에 의하여 회전하는 정도를 측정하여 이로부터 전류의 값을 산출하는 편광측정 방법이 사용되었다. 센서코일은 10/125 mm 규격의 일반 통신용 광섬유를 미터당 20회전 이상 비틀어 제작하여 온도나진동 등의 환경적 영향을 최소화하였다. 코일의 한쪽 끝은 Faraday Rotator Mirror를 장착한 반사형으로 설계하여 계통을 해체하지 않은 상태에서도 센서의 탈×부착이 가능하고 코일의 회전수에 따라 센서의 민감도 조절이 용이하며 폐회로형 구조이므로 인근 신호원에 의한 간섭을 차단할 수 있다. 편광 빛가르개 등을 이용한 광학 신호처리부를 구성하고 표준 전류원을 이용한 전류측정 실험을 수행한 결과로 이론적인 해석과 동일한 형태의 출력을 얻을 수 있었다. 본 논문에서는 구성한 광 전류센서의 이론적 모델을 기술하고 전류측정 실험의 결과와 이론치에 대하여 비교 분석한다. A robust, accurate, broad-band, alternating current sensor using fiber-optics is being developed as a part of optical over current protection relay system. The sensor uses the Faraday effect in optical fiber and polarimetric measurements to sense electrical current. The current sensing coil consists of a length of twisted optical fiber and Faraday rotator mirror to suppress the linear birefringence effect. Due to its single-ended closed path structure, it can not only be easily installed to the target with great isolation from other fields in the vicinity, but the sensitivity can be increased by using multiple turns. This paper reports on the theoretical backgrounds of the sensor design and the preliminary experimental results.

        MMPI에 의한 알코올 의존의 통계적 아형분류

        목적 및 방법 : 본 연구에서는 알코올 의존으로 진단된 남자 환자 75명을 대상으로 MMPI 점수를 이용하여 군집 분석으로 아형 분류를 시도한 후, 사회인구학적 특성과 음주와 관련된 변인으로 그 분류가 판별 타당성이 있는지를 알아보았다. 결 과 : 군집 분석 결과 전체 대상은 6(Pa)-7(Pt)-8(Sc) 프로파일의 정신병적 아형(21.4%), 2(D)-3(Hy)-1(Hs) 프로파일의 신경증적 아형(49.3%), 그리고 정상 프로파일 아형(29.3%)의 세 아형으로 분류되었다. 이 세 아형간의 연령, 학력, 결혼 상태, 음주로 인한 입원 경력, 주당 평균 음주 일수, 음주시 평균 음주량, 음주 시작 연령, 직계가족상의 알코올리즘의 가족력 유무의 차이를 비교한 결과 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 없었다. 결 론 : 본 연구의 결과는 통계학적으로 유의한 세 아형으로 분류되었으나 이 아형 분류가 판별 타당성을 갖추지 못했음을 시사한다. Obects & Methods : The authors tried to classify 75 male patients with alcohol dependence by using cluster analysis of their MMPI data, to identify the characteristics of each subtype classified through that process and to evaluate the discriminant validity of the classification. Results : The subjects were divided into 3 subtypes by K-means cluster analysis of MMPI scores : a psychotic subtype of 6(Pa)-7(Pt)-8(Sc) profile(21.4%), a neurotic subtype of 2(D)-3(Hy)-1(Hs) profile(49.3%), a normal subtype(29.3%). But, there were no statistically significant differences of age, educational level, marital status, admission history due to alcoholic problems, number of drinking day per week, average amount of ethanol consumed per drinking occasion, age at onset of drinking and family history of alcoholism among these three subtypes. Conclusion : It seems that the subjects with alcohol dependence could be classified into three subtypes with statistical significance, but this statistical classification does not constitute any evidence of discriminant validity.

        The purpose of this study was to propose the initial stiffness of steel welded beam-to-column connection. To simplify the analysis, neglect the influence of welding and fillet of H-section beam. According to the parameter(ζ), initial stiffness(K_(i)) increased by ratio of section modulus(Z_(b)/Z_(c)) and decreased by ratio of width/thickness. Result of analysis, range of moment resistance is 0.50M_(F)~1.00M_(F) (Unstiffened Welded Connection), 0.77M_(F)~1.00M_(F) (Continuity Plates Welded Connection) and initial stiffness(K_(i)) is 1.36×10^(8)~24.5×10^(8)(kgf·cm)(Unstiffened Welded Connection) 3.79×10^(8)~33.3x10^(8)(kgf·cm)(Continuity Plates Welded Connection).

        On the Full Stand Modeling and Tension Control for the Hot Strip Finishing Mill with PID Structure

        We describe a looper controller design for a hot strip finishing mill in steel plants. The main function of the looper system is to balance the mass flow of the strip by accumulating material in the middle of the stands. Another function is to control the strip tension which influences the width of the strip. To ensure strip quality, it is very important to control the tension of the hot strip finishing mill. However, because there is a mutual interaction between the looper angle and the strip tension, it is difficult to control the looper system. Previous researches examined only the operation of a single stand. But it is not sufficient to examine the operation and effect of whole stands because the operation is wholly interdependent. In this paper, we present a full model of the hot strip finishing mill in order to more effectively control strip tension. We propose several control methods for the full-stand hot strip finishing mill, denoted as conventional PI, PI with cross gain, and coefficient diagram method (CDM) PID control. In the real plants, there are some problems by using higher order controllers such as LQ, LQG and H∞. By comparison, the PID controller is very simple and easy to apply to all real plants. To that end, we present our findings on PID controls and their potential use in the hot strip finishing mill.

        A microwave-assisted synthesis of 3,4-dihydro-pyrimidin-2-(1H)-ones catalyzed by FeCl₃-supported Nanopore Silica under solvent-free conditions

        Lewis acid supported Nanopore Silica catalysts for microwave-assisted Biginelli reaction under solvent-free conditions were prepared by impregnating FeCl₃ dissolved in ethanol to Nanopore Silica at 40℃. Biginelli reaction under solvent-free conditions, one-pot three-component condensation of urea, benzaldehyde, and ethyl acetoacetate, catalyzed with porous material or Lewis acid supported porous material, such as MCM-41, SBA-15, VSB-5, Nanopore Silica, FeCl₃/MCM-41, FeCl₃/Nanopore Silica, CeCl₃/Nanopore Silica and InCl3/Nanopore Silica, was investigated. Our recent results of the microwave-assisted Biginell reaction of some benzaldehyde derivatives starting materials using MCM-41, Nanopore Silica, FeCl₃/Nanopore Silica, under solvent-free conditions are also reported. Aromatic aldehydes carrying either electron releasing or electron withdrawing substituents in the ortho, meta, and para positions afforded good yields of the products using MCM-41 as a catalyst. When Nanopore Silica was used as a catalyst, the yield of the Biginelli product was in the range of 2756%. However FeCl₃/Nanopore Silica has been employed as a catalyst, the yield of the Biginelli product was increased dramatically. Thus it has been found that the use of FeCl₃/Nanopore Silica as heterogeneous catalyst has made this method very cost effective.
