In this study, we report a method to synthesize the aluminum nitride (AlN) powders from aluminum oxyhydroxide (AlOOH). AlOOH powders were prepared from the aluminum hydroxide ($Al(OH)_3$) by heattreatment at the reaction temperature of $350^{\circ}C$. Simple heat treatment of AlOOH in the flow of $NH_3$ gas leads to the formation of hexagonal AlN powders through intermediate conversion of ${\delta}-,\;{\gamma}-$ and ${\alpha}-Al_2O_3$. The FTIR transmission spectra show a broad peak related to Al-N bonds centered around 690 $cm^{-1}$ confirming the presence of AlN. The major peaks in Raman spectra were observed in 250 $cm^{-1}$ and 659 $cm^{-1}$. From the results, synthesized powders from the AlOOH powders were confirmed AlN powders.
GaOOH 선구체의 스핀코팅에 의한 GaN 박막의 성장

GaN thin fan were grown by spin coated colloidal GaOOH precursor. Polycrystalline GaNs with crystalline size of $10{\sim}100nm$ were grown on $SiO_2$ substrate. The shape of crystallite above $900^{\circ}C$ had the hexagonal plate and column type. X-ray diffraction patterns for them correspond to those of the hexagonal wurtzite GaN. With increasing droplets. i.e, thickness of deposited layers, XRD intensity increased. PL (photoluminescence) spectrum consisted with an weak near band-edge emission at 3.45 eV and a broad donor-acceptor emission band at 3.32 eV. From the low temperature PL measurement on GaN grown at $800^{\circ}C$ that the shallow donor-acceptor recombination induced emission was more intense than the near band-edge excitonic emission.
Vapor Transport Epitaxy에 의한 GaN의 성장과 특성

Highly c-axis oriented poly-crystalline GaN with a dimension of $1{\sim}3\;{\mu}m$ was deposited on $c-Al_2O_3$ substrate by vapor transport epitaxy (VTE) method at the temperature range of $900{\sim}1150^{\circ}C$. XRD intensities from (00'2) plane of grown GaNs were increased with reaction conditions which indicate the improvement of the crystal quality. In the PL spectra measured at 10 K, the spectrum composed with the neutral-donor bound exciton-related emission at 3.47 eV, crystal defect-related emission band at 3.42 eV and with its phonon replicas. The fact that intensity of $I_2$ were increased and FWHM were decreased with growth conditions means that the quality of GaN crystals were improved. With this simple VTE technology, we confirm that the GaNs were simply deposited on sapphire substrate and crystal quality related to optical properties of GaN grown by VTE were relatively good. PL emission without deep level emission in spite of polycrystalline structure can be applicable to the fabrication of large area and low cost optical devices using poly-GaN grown by VTE.
ZVS Center-Tapped Half-Bridge Zeta Converter with Reduced Output Filter Inductor Size

In this paper, a new half-bridge zeta converter employing a center-tapped rectifier is proposed. The proposed converter provides a bidirectional powering path in the rectifier. As a result, its improved rectifier voltage waveform reduces the output filter inductor size. Also, it maintains a wide ZVS range due to the characteristic of the conventional single-ended half-bridge zeta converter. The operational principles, the theoretical analysis, and the design considerations of the proposed converter are analyzed. To verify the performance of the proposed converter, experimental results from a 180W prototype are presented.

본 연구는 여성 노인들의 운동실천 제약요인과 촉진요인이 연령 단계에 따라 차이가 있는지 확인하고 운동실천 촉진요인과 다차원적 관련이 있는 제약요인이 무엇인지 알아보기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 65세 이상 140명의 여성 노인들을 대상으로 심리측정적 타당성 절차를 거친 평정 척도를 통하여 반응을 분석하였다. 다변량분산분석(MANOVA) 결과 여성 노인들의 운동실천 제약요인은 연령 단계에 따라 시간부족과 건강질병 요인에서 차이가 나타났으며, 운동실천 촉진요인은 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 운동실천 제약요인과 촉진요인 간 다차원적 관계를 검증하기 위하여 중다회귀분석(Multiple Regression Analysis)과 정준상관분석(Canonical Correlation Analysis)을 실시한 결과, 운동실천 촉진요인에 관련이 있는 제약요인은 부상우려 요인으로 나타났다. 정준함수식은 1개가 도출되었으며 부상에 대한 공포나 걱정을 의미하는 부상우려가 높을 경우 운동혜택, 운동유발, 운동시간, 사교활동의 운동촉진 요인이 감소하는 것으로 함수 설명력은 13.3%를 나타내고 있다. 이러한 결과를 통하여 부상우려의 제약요인이 여성 노인들의 운동실천 촉진을 가장 방해하는 요인으로 판단할 수 있으며, 여성 노인의 운동실천 촉진에 전반적인 부적 영향을 미치고 있다고 해석할 수 있다. This study was conducted for determining difference in factors restricting and promoting female elders` practice of exercise according to age, and to identify restriction factors in a multi-dimensional relation with factors promoting their practice of exercise. For this purpose, we sampled 140 female elders at the age of 65 or older, and analyzed their response using a rating scale whose psychometric validity had been tested. In the results of MANOVA, factors restricting female elders` practice of exercise different according to age were lack of time and health-disease, and factors promoting the practice of exercise were not different according to age. In addition, when multiple regression analysis and canonical correlation analysis were performed for testing the multi-dimensional relation between factors restricting and promoting the practice of exercise, the restriction factor related to the promotion factors was concern about injury. One canonical correlation analysis was derived, in which exercise promotion factors such as exercise benefit, exercise inducement, exercise hour, and social activity decreased when concern about injury, namely, fear of or worry about injury was high, and the explanatory power of the function was 13.3%. From these results, it was concluded that concern about injury was the biggest restriction factor against the promotion of female elders` practice of exercise, and had a negative effect on the promotion of female elders` practice of exercise.
