This study evaluated the economic aspect of the rainwater harvesting facilities by hydrologically analyzing the inflow, rainwater consumption, rainfall loss, tank storage, and overflow time series to derive the net rainwater consumption and the number of days of rainwater available. This study considers several rainwater harvesting facilities in Seoul National University, Korea Institute of Construction Technology and Daejon World Cup Stadium and the results derived are as follows. (1) Increasing the water consumption decreases the number of days of rainwater available. (2) Due to the climate in Korea, a larger tank storage does not increase the amount and the number of days of water consumption during wet season (June to September), but a little in October. (3) Economic evaluation of the rainwater harvesting facilities considered in this study shows no net benefit (private benefit). (5) Flood reduction effect of rainwater harvesting facilities was estimated very small to be about 1% even in the case that 10% of all the basin is used as the rainwater collecting area.

Water management objects was developed using the Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concept and Irrigation Block Simulation Model was developed using these objects. This model using OOP can simulate the behavior of the irrigation block composed of several irrigation canals, drainage canals, paddy fields, check gates, and so on. This study showed that using OOP concept, we can develop an water management application or extend the function of existing application more easily.

Freestanding hydride vapor phase epitaxy grown GaN substrates subjected to various polishing methods were characterized for their surface and subsurface conditions. Although chemical mechanical polishing(CMP) is one of the best approaches for reducing scratches and subsurface damages, the removal rate of Ga-polar surface in CMP is insignificant(0.1~0.3 ㎛/hr) as compared with that of N-polar surface. Therefore, conventional mechanical polishing (MP) is commonly used in the GaN substrate fabrication process. Mechanical polishing of (0001) surface of GaN has been demonstrated using different types of diamond slurry of diamond powders of different size. Diamond powders of size ranging from 30㎚ to 100㎚ were dispersed in ethylene glycol solutions and mineral oil solutions, respectively. Significant change in the surface roughness (RMS 0.1㎚) and scratch-free surface were obtained for the slurry of diamond powder of 30㎚ in mean particle size dispersed in mineral oil solutions. However, MP process introduced subsurface damages confirmed by TEM (Transmission Electronic Microscope) and PL(Photoluminescence) analysis.

본 논문에서는 온라인 커뮤니티에서 어떻게 지식공헌이 이루어지는지를 살펴보고자 온라인 커뮤니티 사용자들의 지식공헌에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 실증적 연구를 통해 규명하고자 하였다. 자기표현이론과 조직시민행동이론을 토대로 연구모형을 설정하고 네 개의 가설을 제안하였다. 온라인 커뮤니티 참여자 192명의 설문 조사를 PLS로 분석한 연구의 결과에서, 온라인 커뮤니티 사용자들의 자기표현과 혁신성, 조직시민행동 및 감정적 동질감등이 지식공헌에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이외에 온라인 커뮤니티에 대한 본 연구결과에 대한 학문적 실무적 의미를 논의하였으며, 향후 연구에 대한 시사점도 언급하였다. This study investigated what factors influence the knowledge contribution in online communities. Based on the theoretical framework like self-presentation theory and organizational citizenship behavior theory, we developed the research model and proposed four hypotheses. In order to test our hypotheses with an empirical study, we have conducted a survey which resulted in 192 valid responses in the final sample. The PLS analysis results indicate that knowledge contribution is influenced by self-presentation, innovation, organizational citizenship behavior, and affection similarity of online community users. Practical implications of these findings and future research implications are also discussed.
초음파 진동자용 MnO<sub>2</sub>가 Doping된 PZT-PSN 세라믹스의 구조 및 압전 특성

For use in ultrasonic actuators, we investigated the structural and piezoelectric properties of $(1\;-\;x)Pb(Zr_{0.515}Ti_{0.485})O_3$ - $xPb(Sb_{1/2}Nb_{1/2})O_3$ + 0.5 wt% $MnO_2$ [(1 - x)PZT - xPSN + $MnO_2$] ceramics with a variation of x (x = 0.02, 0.04, 0.06, 0.08). All the ceramics, which were sintered at $1250^{\circ}C$ for 2 h, showed a typical perovskite structure, implying that they were well synthesized. A homogeneous micro structure was also developed for the specimens, and their average grain size was slightly decreased to $1.3{\mu}m$ by increasing x to 0.8. Moreover, a second phase with a pyrochlore structure appeared when x was above 0.06, which resulted in the deterioration of their piezoelectric properties. However, the 0.96PZT-0.04PSN+$MnO_2$ ceramics, which corresponds with a morphotropic phase boundary (MPB) composition in the (1 - x)PZT - xPSN + $MnO_2$ system, exhibited good piezoelectric properties: a piezoelectric constant ($d_{33}$) of 325 pC/N, an electromechanical coupling factor ($k_p$) of 70.8%, and a mechanical quality factor ($Q_m$) of 1779. The specimens with a relatively high curie temperature ($T_c$) of $305^{\circ}C$ also showed a significantly high dielectric constant (${\varepsilon}_r$) value of 1109. Therefore, the 0.96PZT - 0.04PSN + $MnO_2$ ceramics are suitable for use in ultrasonic vibrators.

This study estimated the error involved in the areal average rainfall derived incomplete radar information due to radar partial coverage of a basin or sub-basin. This study considers the Han River Basin as an application example for the rainfall observation using the Ganghwa rain radar. Among the total of 24 mid-sized sub-basins of the Han River Basin evaluated in this study, only five sub-basins are fully covered by the radar and three are totally uncovered. Remaining 16 sub-basins are partially covered by the radar leading incomplete radar information available. When only partial radar information is available, the sampling error decreases proportional to the size of the radar coverage, which also varies depending on the number of clusters. It is general that smaller sampling error can be expected when the number of clusters increases if the total area coverage remains the same. This study estimated the sampling error of the areal average rainfall of partially-covered mid-sized sub-basins of the Han River Basin, and the results show that the sampling error could be at least several % to maximum tens % depending on the relative coverage area.

본 연구에서는 분단위 강우자료(MMR)를 이용하여 시간해상도에 따른 강우의 공간상관구조 특성을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 이 변량 혼합대수정규분포를 이용하여 강우를 모형화하였다. 본 연구에서의 분석은 중부지역의 26개 우량관측소 지점자료를 이용 하였으며, 호우 발생 특성별(장마, 태풍, 대류성 강우)로 수행하여 서로 비교될 수 있도록 하였다. 집성시간은 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 30, 60분을 적용하였다. 그 결과, 현재의 분단위 관측지점 자료는 임의 지점의 분단위 강우강도로 내삽하여 추정하는데 적절하지 않음을 확인하였다. 만일 적절한 자료분해 및 내삽 방법론이 구비된다면, 분단위 관측지점 자료를 이용하는 것보다 시자료와 같이 밀도 있는 관측망의 자료를 이용하는 것이 보다 현실적인 분단위 강우강도 추정 방안이 될 수 있을 것이다. This study analyzed the spatial correlograms of minutely rainfall data with respect to various accumulation times. A bivariate mixed lognormal distribution was applied for rainfall modelling. A total of 26 minutely rainfall data sets from rain gauge stations in the central part of Korean peninsula were analyzed, also repeated for several storm types like Jang-Ma, typhoon and convective storms for their comparison. The accumulation times 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 30 and 60 minutes were considered in this study. As results, it was found that the minutely rainfall data available was not good enough for estimating minutely rainfall intensity at ungaged locations. It seems more practical to use the hourly rainfall data with much higher rain gauge density, if proper methods for interpolation and data dis-aggregation are provided.

This study presents the possibility of scratch reduction on wafer in CMP by applying the ultrasonic and megasonic energy into the slurry which might contain large abrasive particles. Experiments were conducted to verify the dispersion ability of agglomerated particles by applying ultrasonic, megasonic waves and analyze the particle distribution of used slurry in case, of sonic energy assisted or none. And the dispersion stability of megasonic waves was investigated through the experiment of stability of the dispersed slurry, Finally, to confirm that the distribution of particles in slurry by ultrasonic waves was actually related to scratches on wafer when CMP was done, tungsten blanket wafer was processed, by CMP to compare and investigate scratches on wafer.
