        A Study on Transitions in Neighborhood Planning Elements Based on the Development of Transportation: A case study of apartment complex in the metropolitan area from the 1970s to 1980s

        The main factors that made Seoul's rapid population accommodation and urbanization possible in the mid-to-late 20th century were the expansion of urban infrastructure, completion of the transportation system, and housing supply. The development of transpor-tation and residential development occurred simultaneously, and in particular, apartment complexes, a representative residential area in Seoul, were most influenced by Perry's neighborhood unit theory. The purpose of this study is to analyze the process of the physical environment of apartment complexes in the metropolitan area in response to development of transportation in the mid-to-late 20th century. The analysis sites are Jamsil Apartment Complex(1974), Dunchon Apartment Complex(1979), Mok-dong New Town(1983), Sanggye New Town(1985), Bundang Newtown(1990) and Ilsan Newtown(1990), which were planned at the turning point of development of transportation and actively reflect the neighborhood unit theory. The analysis was conducted in three stages. Analyzing the status of transportation when the plan was established, deriving the planning elements, and classifying the planning elements into walking, bus, car, and subway which is the representative transportation. The conclusions from the analy-sis are as follows. Firstly, completing the legal system and expanding the related infrastructure are essential. Secondly, in contrast to the increase in traffic volume, the pedestrian environment has been continuously improved. Thirdly, despite the emergence of new mode of transportation, there was a tendency to activate the linkage between transportation.

        Objective : Stroke patients tend to take antibiotics due to infection resulting from complication. One of many side effects from using antibiotics is diarrhea, which infact causes anaerobic organism dysfunction resulting Pseudo-Membranous Colitis (P.M.C). To treat P.M.C, antibiotics and antibacterial agents are usually used. But they may cause other side effects, therefore extreme caution must be taken. Methods : We treated an antibiotic induced P.M.C patient who diagnosed by sigmoid scopy with only Yijoong-tang (Lizhong-tang) without antibiotics and observed patients stool aspects. Results and Conclusion : Patiensts symptom was improved after 7days, and we can see the improvement by follow-up sigmoid scopy. This case may give us a possibility of that oriental medical treatments as complementary and alternative medicine to standard antibiotic treatment.

        VLAN 환경에서 네트워크 주소 인증을 통한 정책 기반 실시간 시스템 제어 기술 연구

        네트워크(IP/MAC) 주소를 관리함에 있어 네트워크의 임의의사용자가 사용자가 사용 중인 네트워크 장비 혹은 PC의 IP 주소나 네트워크 인터페이스 카드를 임의적으로 또는 악의적으로 변경하는 것을 차단할 필요성이 있다. 또한 새로운 네트워크 자원 장비의 도입 시 수많은 네트워크 자원을 임의적으로 할당하지 않고, 관리자가 관리하게 됨으로써 효율적인 자원관리 및 네트워크 문제 발생시 신속한 대처를 할 수 있어야 한다. 이것은 하위레벨에서의 네트워크 관리 및 보안을 유지할 수 있게 한다. 그러나 이러한 작업을 현재는 대부분 관리자에 의한 수작업으로 진행하고 있으며 이로 인한 관리 인력의 낭비와 업무능률의 저하는 관리효율 자체의 저하로 이어진다. 본 논문에서는 기업이나 관공서에서 사용되는 VLAN 환경에서 네트워크 주소 인증을 통해 보안성을 더욱 향상시키기 위한 방안을 제시하고자 한다. It is need to control network access that a user personally change own IP or network devices in managing network address. Also, When we use new network devices or assign network address, we do them by design, not arbitrarily. And then, we can immediately control network's problems. It could be used network management and security in low level. But most of managers do this works by hand not automatically. This paper propose the solutions that improve the security by network address authentication in VLAN environment, such as corporations and public offices.

      • 휴대용 항공전자 시스템 시험장비에 관한 연구

        본 논문에서는 수리온 임무탑재장비((Mission Equipment Package) 시스템 통합 실험실의 개발 기술을 활용한 휴대용 항공전자 테스트 장비 개발에 대해 기술하였다. 일반적으로 SIL(System Integration Laboratory)은 항공기와 유사한 항전 시스템을 구축하여 각 항공전자 장비의 고장 탐구 및 비행운용프로그램 검증에 활용된다. 휴대용 테스트 장비(Portable Test Equipment)는 MEP SIL 이 기본적으로 가지고 있는 동적 데이터 시뮬레이션, 비행 모델 연동, 데이터 모니터링과 같은 기능을 포함하고 있어 구성품(Line Replaceable Unit)별로 개발된 전용 지원장비 보다 휠씬 더 다양한 테스트 환경을 제공한다. 향후, 신규 사업에 PTE 활용할 경우, 구성품별로 시험장비를 개발하는 개념을 하나의 시스템으로 대체할 수 있어 개발 기간 단축 및 비용 절감 효과를 얻을 수 있을 것이다. In this paper, we report experimental studies of developing Portable Avionics Test Equipment using the development technology of the Mission Equipment Package System Integration Laboratory. Generally, SIL is an infrastructure, which allows connecting of aircraft avionics LRUs in similar manner to the interconnection in the aircraft and used for troubleshooting and verifications of the avionics S/W. Portable Avionics Test Equipment with basic functions, such as Dynamic Data Simulation, Flight Model, and Data monitoring provides more powerful functions than the specific systems developed for each LRUs. If the PTE is applied at the new projects over the homogeneous system instead of individual systems for them, it makes the benefits for development term and cost reduces.

      • 완전이식 인공심장용 무선정보 전송장치의 개발

        In this paper, a new biotelemetry system for a transcutaneous data communication between an implanted artificial heart with a control system and an external human-interfaced management system has been developed. A radio telemetry using radio frequency is a commonly used method in the conventional telemetry systems. But, it is not suitable for the medical applications because of not only an interference due to a radio broadcasting but also a harmfulness to the human body. In this paper, therefore, a new biotelemetry system applied to an artificial heart has been developed with the results of the recent research for an optical telemetry system based on the infrared light transmission with good skin permeability. The performance of the biotelemetry system developed has been assessed through mock circulatory experiments, and the clinical applicability has been also confirmed with the successful results in the animal experiments. 본 연구에서는 체내에 이식되는 인공심장 및 제어시스템과 체외의 환자관리시스템간의 정보교환을 위한 무선 통신시스템(Biotelemetry System)을 개발하였다. 일반적으로 무선 telemetry라고 하면 전파 telemetry를 의미할 정도로 전파를 이용한 방식이 보편화되어 있으나, 늘어나는 전파무선기기에 의한 전파장해 및 간섭현상과 무엇보다 인체에 유해한 단점으로 의료용 장비에의 응용에는 부적합하다, 따라서 본 논문에서는 최근 빛을 이용한 무선telemetry에 대한 연구결과를 응용하여 피부투과성이 좋은 근적외광(Infra Red Light)을 이용한 광통신 방식으로 인공심장용 무선정보 전달장치를 구현하였다. 개발된 시스템의 성능은 인공 심장용 모의순환실험을 통해 평가되었으며 아울러 동물실험에서의 성능평가로 임상에의 응용가능성을 확인하였다.

        완전이식 인공심장을 위한 제어시스템의 개발에 관한 연구

        For use in patients with severe forms of heart disease for which no surgical repair is possible, development of artificial hearts has many importance in point of economics, medical and industrial applications. To provide a sufficient cardiac output to the physiological demands of circulatory systems is the objective of control systems for an electromechanical artificial heart, which is based on the stable controller design for the motor in the artificial heart. In this paper, an implantable microcontroller-based brushless DC motor control system with the implantability, reliability, and stability is introduced. The developed control system for the artificial heart has the following advantages: (1) It is possible to be implanted in a body by realizing the fundamental functions such as a motor speed detection, proportional-intergral control, timer, and PWM generation through a software programming. (2) Thus, the power consumed in the controller is reduced. (3) The reliability and stability are improved through the reduction of electronic parts and line connetions at the controller. The performance of the artificial hearts and control system developed was evaluated through a series of mock circulatory experiments and a reliability test for one and half years. A sheep with the artificial heart and control system was survived for three days.

      • 완전 이식형 인공심장의 심박출량 자동 제어 알고리즘 개발에 관한 연구

        A new automatic cardiac output control algorithm for the motor-driven electromechanical total artificial heart(TAH) was developed based on the motor current waveform analysis without using any extra transducer. The basic control requirements of artificial heart can be described in terms of three features : preload sensitivity, afterload insensitivity, and balanced ventricular outputs. In the previous studies, many transducers were utilized to obtain informations of hemodynamic states for the automatic cardiac output control, But such automatic control systems with sensors have had reliability problems. We proposed a new sensorless automatic cardiac output control algorithm providing adequate cardiac output to the time-varying physiological demand without causing right atrial collapse, which is one of the critical problem in an active-filling type device. In-vitro tests were performed on a mock circulation system to evaluate the performance of the developed algorithm and the results show that the new algorithm satisfied the basic control requirements on the cardiac output response and the possibility of application of the developed algorithm to in vivo experiments.
