        경주 불국사 삼층석탑(석가탑) 기초에 관한 조사연구

        The purpose of this study is to analyze the overall condition of the foundation for the three storied stone pagoda of Bulguksa temple in GyeongJu. As a research method, exploration of the electrical resistivity, refraction seismic, surface wave exploration, GPR exploration, Reputation loading test. The results of the investigation, the range of the foundation was formed in foundation stone outskirts of 1.5 ~ 2.0m. It was confirmed to be about 2.0m depth. The depth of the foundation becomes shallower from the base portion to the outside. And the bearing capacity of foundation was sufficient conditions to weight. It can sufficiently support the weight of pagoda. And, the result of this investigation becomes basis data for repair work.

        거제도의 관속식물상과 주요 식생 현황

        The flora of vascular plants in Geojedo revealed to be 550 taxa based on only the voucher specimens to be collected. It comprise 108 families, 341 genera, 478 species, 69 varieties and 3 forms respectively. Among them, 13 taxa of Korean endemics and 8 taxa of rare and endangered plants were investigated in addition to 75 taxa of specially designated plants announced by the Ministry of Environment. Furthermore, 36 taxa of induced and naturalized plants were also observed in this area. One of the characteristics of forest vegetation is the broadly occupation of Pinus thunbergii on whole area of Geojedo. Although it's well condition and conservation status, the destruction area of vegetation was rapidly increasing by the industrial development, the deforestation and the tramp as well as by the basic disturbances of human beings. Therefore, more active and positive conservation strategy such as expansion of conservation area should be prepared rapidly by the results of long-term monitoring studies.

The rise of labor and resource costs have an effect on the Ik-kong style of traditional wooden architecture. 2. The Ik-kong size and detail form have difference by their uses. 3. According to the change of the situation of craftsmen, the 'Ik-gong' style has changed.

        한국 미기록 귀화식물: 아메리카대극과 털땅빈대

        Two naturalized plants (Euphorbiaceae) were recorded from Busan Metropolitan City and from the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. Euphorbia heterophylla L. (A-me-ri-ka-dae-geuk) was found in a park near Suyeong-gang, Allak-dong, Dongnae-gu, in Busan Metropolitan City. This species is distinguished from E. dentata by its alternating leaves of main stem and glands of involucres with a circular opening. Euphorbia hirta L. (Teol-ttang-bin-dae) was found in Yerae village, Yerae-dong, Seogwipo-si, in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. It is distinguished from E. hypericifolia as it has capsules with hairs. 부산광역시와 제주도에서 대극과의 미기록 귀화식물 2종을 발견하였다. Euphorbia heterophylla L. (아메리카대극)은 부산광역시 동래구 안락동 수영강변 공원에서 확인되었으며, E. dentata Michx. (톱니대극)과 비교하여 원줄기 잎은 호생하며, 소총포의 선체 입구는 원형인 특징으로 구별된다. 또한 Euphorbia hirta L. (털땅빈대)은 제주특별자치도 서귀포시 예래동 예래마을에서 확인되었으며, E. hypericifolia L. (큰땅빈대)와 비교하여 삭과에 털이 있는 특징으로 구별된다.

        한국산 대극속 3분류군의 분류학적 재검토

        The morphological characters and scientific names on 3 taxa of Korean Euphorbia were reviewed. Growing pattern of stems, arrangement of leaves, the presence of appendages, the presence of ovary's hairs, shape of seeds and the presence of caruncles were valuable characters in identifying the taxa. The correct names of Nang-dok, Keun-ttang-bin-dae and Ae-gi-ttang-bin-dae based on the morphological characters, the type specimens and the original descriptions were E. fischeriana, E. hypericifolia and E. maculata, respectively. Keys to the taxa were provided for the accurate identification. 한국산 대극속 3분류군에 대한 외부형태 형질과 학명을 재검토하였다. 줄기의 생장양상, 잎의 배열, 부속체의 유무, 자방 털의 유무, 종자의 형태 및 종침의 유무 등이 분류군들을 식별하는데 유용한 형질임이 확인되었다. 외부형태 형질, 기준표본 및 원기재문 등에 근거하여 낭독, 큰땅빈대 및 애기땅빈대의 정명은 E. fischeriana, E. hypericifolia 및 E. maculata로 밝혀졌으며, 정확한 종 동정을 위해 검색표를 제시하였다.

        Impatiens furcillata Hemsl. (봉선화과)의 분류학적 재검토

        The taxonomic entity and morphological characteristics of Impatiens furcillata were reviewed based on the original description and the type specimen. As a result, I. furcillata, by having glabrous stems,descending and glabrous peduncles, and pinkish white flowers, is strikingly distinguishable from other taxa of Korean Impatiens. Both I. hypophylla var. koreana and I. kojeensis are treated as synonyms of I. furcillata, for their morphological characteristics, were the same as those of I. furcillata. In addition, the Korean name for I. furcillata was changed to ‘Cheo-jin-mul-bong-seon’ instead of ‘San-mul-bong-seon’. 원기재문과 기준표본을 근거로 Impatiens furcillata의 분류학적 실체와 형태적 특성을 재검토하였다. 그 결과, I. furcillata는 줄기 및 화경에 털이 없고, 화경은 아래로 처지며, 꽃은 홍백색인 특징을 가져 다른한국산 물봉선속의 분류군들과 명확히 구분되었다. 특히, 이와 동일한 형태적 특성을 가지는 I. hypophylla var. koreana (처진물봉선)와 I. kojeensis (거제물봉선)는 I. furcillata의 이명으로 처리하였다. 또한 I. furcillata의국명은 ‘산물봉선’ 대신 ‘처진물봉선’으로 변경하였다.

        경주 불국사 삼층석탑(석가탑) 파손원인에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to analyze the cause of damage to the three storied stone pagoda of Bulguksa temple in GyeongJu. This report is attempted to making reinforcement and conservation plan through investigating and analyzing the cause of damage to that. The damage is caused by occurring of stress, degrading of stone strength, changing of underground soil structure, natural disasters and so on. Compressive stress, shear stress, bending stress and lateral pressure affected to the pagoda since built up. Ultrasonic examination data tells the strength of the stone. According to this result, strength of the stereobate stone materials is enough to support the weight of the upper ones. But we could found many other factors of the damage could consider, for example the problems occurred on building the pagoda construction and the weakness of the stone material(soft rock). And many environmental factors being changed in soil structure(subsidence of soil and degradation of bearing power of soil and freezing and melting of soil) can be seen as the cause of the damage. Natural disasters like earthquake, lightning and heavy rain were also thought to give direct impact to the damage. At last Concentration of compressive stress caused the crack and exfoliation on the stone materials and shear stress, bending stress and lateral pressure were main causes of the stereobate stone materials shearing.

        일제강점기 이후 석탑(石塔) 조사연구사

        This study aims to investigate the changing aspects about research methodology of stone pagoda from the period of Japanese colonial to now. There were the differences in purpose, method and analysis of the research according to each period. In Japanese colonial period, the purpose of research was to make lists of almost stone pagodas in Korea. Following this, Japanese researchers conducted detailed research for academic purpose. They took measurements of stone pagodas and made drawings. After liberation the research was focused on the relics contained in pagodas. They proceeded to investigate the inner relics in order to attract the attention of the people. In the late 1900's, the repair works of cultural heritages were increased. Many reports of the repair works were released and sent to administration offices. The reports contained the change aspects of situation between before work and after with drawings or simple investigation documents. In the 1990's, the restoration works for important stone pagodas were started by the National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage. Since then, researches from various way - architectural and conservational researches about historical interpretation, shape, structure, proportion, technique, etc. - progressed for careful restoration and accurate study. In Recent years, various professional organizations(in the field of structure, physics, chemistry, biology, lithology, etc.) started to join the researches. Researches conducted studies directly with the stone pagodas, as well as conducting indirect studies with the stone pagodas, such as the structural stability of stone pagodas, the characteristics of rock, and conservation chemicals. Today the research project 'The preservation project of stone cultural property' is being conducted by the National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage. The purpose of this project is to gain more detailed and accurate investigation documents to be provided for the people. In conclusion, researches from various fields must be included in the research. Furthermore, a synthetic study should be done through comparing similar characteristics or different characteristics among many research results.
