The purpose of this study is to analyze the method of retrofitting flexural strength and the flexural performance of retrofitted shear walls. There are various ways to reinforce the flexural strength of reinforced concrete shear wall structural systems that have already been built, in the case of that, the external force is increased, and the internal force is insufficient. However, there are various problems, such as excessive flexural stiffness after reinforcement and increasing the thickness and length of the wall. We have developed a retrofit method to solve these problems. The wall end is excavated to place the required vertical rebars, and concrete is poured after placing rebars. This is the same concept as creating wall end boundary elements later on. We also studied the anchorage method of reinforcement and the interaction method between the retrofitting end and the existing wall. The flexural test results for the reinforced concrete shear wall using the studied retrofit method can be predicted according to the sectional analysis and FEM analysis, and there are differences in the plastic hinge length, crack propagation, stiffness degradation and energy dissipation due to the bending depending on the vertical rebar ratio of wall end.

This study empirically examined how the gross license fee affects the public performance in public broadcasting system. The previous studies only explored other factors qualitatively, because it was very difficult to set up the measurement level and to get real data. In results, the gross license fee was one of important factors to affect the public performance in KBS. These results imply that the gross license fee were directly linked with PSI. Especilly, in KBS-2TV’s performance evaluation, the gross license fee were highly correlated with PSI. Thus, this paper revealed two significant legacies of the gross license fee. One is that it is a prior condition to improve KBS’s social effects. The other is that it is highly correlated with KBS’s shares. Finally, I insist that the gross license fee should be raised to develop and protect Korean public broadcasting system.
Clinical Results of Odontoid Fractures according to a Modified, Treatment-Oriented Classification

Objective: Odontoid fracture is common in cervical injury, representing about 20% of total cervical fractures. Classic odontoid fracture classification focused on anatomy of fracture site has no treatment recommendation and a modified treatment-oriented classification of odontoid fracture was suggested in 2005. We reviewed our odontoid fracture patients to assess the feasibility and efficacy of Grauer’s classification. Methods: Between October 2000 and September 2015, we collected data from patients who came to our institute for odontoid fracture. Demographic data of patients was reviewed, and neck visual analog scale (VAS) score and fusion rate were assessed by reviewing electronic medical records retrospectively. Results: Sixty-nine patients out of a total of eighty two odontoid fracture patients were reviewed according to Grauer’s classification. Neck VAS of all subtypes in odontoid fracture classification were decreased at last follow-up (p=0.001). Overall fusion rate was 88.4% at last follow-up. Concordance rate between Grauer’s recommendation and our treatment was 69.9%, especially in type II with the concordance higher than 80%. Complication was minimal representing 7.2%, only in types I and III. Conclusion: In this study, there were statistically significant improvement in all subtypes in terms of neck VAS at the last follow up, especially in types II and III. Grauer’s classification appears to be meaningful to decide treatment plan for odontoid fractures, especially type II odontoid fracture.

네트워크에 연결되는 디바이스가 다양해지고 저지연 서비스가 늘어나면서 사용자의 디바이스와 가까운 네트워크에 컴퓨팅 리소스를 위치시켜 사용자 응답시간을 줄인 엣지 컴퓨팅이 등장하였다. 엣지 컴퓨팅 구조의 특성상 여러 사이트에 있는 다수의 엣지를 관리하기 어려우므로 중앙에서 원격으로 엣지를 효율적으로 관리하고자 엣지 컴퓨팅 플랫폼이 개발되었으며 본 논문에서는 다양한 엣지 컴퓨팅 플랫폼 중 오픈소스 기반 플랫폼인 StarlingX 와 KubeEdge 의 구조와 특징을 중심으로 분석하고자 한다.
쿠버네티스 환경에서의 Pod Status 확장을 위한 구조 설계

컨테이너를 관리하는 오픈소스 플랫폼인 쿠버네티스는 컨테이너 기반 애플리케이션의 표준 플랫폼으로 자리잡고 있다. 쿠버네티스는 파드의 단위로 애플리케이션을 관리하며 사용자는 kubectl 명령어를 통해 현재 Pod Status 를 확인할 수 있다. 하지만 쿠버네티스에서 기본적으로 제공하는 Pods Status 만으로는 실제 파드가 어떤 동작을 하고 있는지 사용자가 빠르게 파악하기 어렵다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 CRD 를 활용하여 다양한 Pod Status 를 표현할 수 있는 구조를 설계하였다.
