        현대인의 위기의 양상들

        보토 슈트라우스는 신주관주의 문학의 대표자 중의 한 사람이다. 신주관주의 문학은 개인을 문학적 묘사의 대상으로서 고찰하고 주체의 내면과 의식 및 정신세계를 집중적으로 다룬다. 본 연구는 보토 슈트라우스의 희곡 『시간과 방』을 토대로 현대 사회에서 고립되고 소외된 현대인의 위기를 분석하고자 한다. 보토 슈트라우스는 고도의 산업사회에서 주관성 없이 방황하는 현대인의 의식과 상황을 지속적으로 다루었다. 이 작품에는 특히 현대인의 의사소통의 단절과 대인 관계의 무관심 및 남성 중심적 사고와 인간성 상실이 묘사되어 있다. 보토 슈트라우스는 이러한 문제를 직접 비판하지 않으며 그 어떤 해결방안을 제시하지 않는다. 그는 개인의 내면세계와 인간관계의 문제점을 있는 그대로 묘사함으로써 독자나 관객 스스로가 현실을 인식하고 비판하도록 유도하였다. 그는 이 작품을 통해 현대인의 위기를 극복하기 위한 인간의 정신적 태도의 변화를 기대한다. 따라서 보토 슈트라우스는 단지 개인적 내면의 문제만을 다룬 문학이 아닌, 기존의 기록문학이나 민중극 못지않게 현실참여적인 문학을 추구한 작가라고 할 수 있다. Botho Strauss is one of the representatives of New Subjectivity literature. New subjectivity literature considers the Individiual as an object of literary representation and focuses on the inside, the consciousness and the spiritual world of the subject. This study is an attempt to analyze the crisis of the people in modern industrial society on the basis of the play The Time and the Room by Botho Strauss. Botho Strauss continued to deal with the consciousness and situation of modern people wandering in a highly industrialized society without subjectivity. In The Time and the Room especially disconnection of communication and interpersonal disinterest, androcentric thinking and the loss of humanity are depicted. Botho Strauss does not criticize this problem directly and offers no possible solution. He portrayed the problem of the inner world and the human relationship of the individual as it is, and led the reader and the audience to recognize and criticize reality. Through this play, he expects a change in human mental attitude to overcome the crisis of modern people. Therefore, Botho Strauss is not a literature that deals only with individual inner issues, but rather a writer who pursues a literary participatory literature as well as existing social participation literature.

        바이오매스 자원을 활용한 바이오폴리올, 바이오이소시아네이트 및 바이오폴리우레탄 제조

        화석 연료의 고갈 및 온실가스 배출문제로 인해 보다 환경 친화적인 바이오매스 유래의 고분자 생산에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 폴리우레탄은 -OH 화합물과 -NCO 화합물의 중합반응에 의해 생성된 우레탄(-NHCOO-) 결합을 포함하는 고분자 화합물을 통칭하며 자동차, 건축, 화학 분야에서 가장 광범위하게 사용된다. 폴리우레탄의 원료인 폴리올과 이소시아네이트는 식물성 천연유지, 셀룰로오스, 리그닌 등 재생 가능한 바이오매스로부터 생산이 가능하다. 식물성 천연유지 유래의 바이오폴리올은 이미 상업적 규모로 생산되고 있다. 본 총설은 다양한 바이오매스로부터 바이오폴리올, 바이오이소시아네이트, 이소시아네이트 대체화합물 관련 최신 기술개발 동향 및 이를 기반으로 합성된 바이오폴리우 레탄의 특성을 평가하고, 바이오폴리우레탄의 응용분야와 함께 전망을 분석하였다. The shortage of fossil fuel and problem of greenhouse gas exhaustion drive the production of biopolymer in a environment- friendly manner. Polyurethane is a polymer formed by reacting an isocyanate (-NCO) with a polyol (-OH) to form urethane link (-NHCOO-). Polyurethane is one of the most widely used polymers in automobile, construction and chemical industries. Two monomers for the polymerization of polyurethane, polyols and isocyanates, can be produced from renewable biomass such as plant oil, cellulose, lignin and etc. Biopolyol production from plant oil has already been implemented in commercial-scale production. In this paper, recent progresses on bio-based approaches on the production of biopolyols, bioisocyanates and bio-substituent or isocyanate from bio-feedstock are reviewed alongside polymerization and characterization of biopolyurethane for industrial applications.

        건식 쌀가루를 이용한 막편의 품질특성

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the quality characteristics of makpyeon prepared with dry milled rice powder. The makpyeon samples prepared with dry milled rice powder and various amount makgeolli (0% (CON), 25% (M25), 50% (M50), 75% (M75), 100% (M100)), and analyzed for moisture content, pH, Hunter’s color value, TPA and sensory evaluation. The moisture content did not showed significant difference among makpyeon samples. The L-value, a-value resulted in that CON showed the highest and decreased with the amount of makgeolli. The b-value of makpyeon samples showed that CON was the lowest and increased with the amount of makgeolli. TPA resulted in that M100 showed the highest hardness and the lowest adhesiveness, cohesiveness. Chewiness and gumminess of makpyeon samples were higher than those of CON. Based on quantitative descriptive analysis, the score of brightness, moistness, particle size and gloss of showed higher in CON that in makpyeon samples, firmness increased with the amount of makgeolli. Flavor attributes of liquor odor, sour odor, fermentation odor of makpyeon was stronger in makpyeon samples that in CON with the amount of makgeolli. Acceptance test resulted in makpyeon made with CON, 100% of makgeolli (M100) showed the significantly highest score in taste and overall acceptance.

        컵(Cup) 색에 따른 기본 맛과 커피의 관능특성 인지 연구

        Purpose: The study was conducted to investigate the basic taste and the sensory properties of coffee according to cup color. Methods: Attribute difference tests were performed for basic taste solution and coffee samples in six different colored paper cups by 68 trained panelists. In addition, a check-all-that-apply (CATA) was conducted to evaluate flavor characteristics of coffee samples. Results: Based on the basic taste test, the scores of sweetness and saltiness were higher for samples in red and orange cups than those in other colored cups. while the highest bitterness score was observed in black cups. Moreover, sweetness of coffee was stronger in red cups, while sourness was highest in yellow and green cups. Bitterness, opacity, concentration and body of coffee in black cups were stronger than those of coffee samples in other colored cups, while the overall flavor of coffee in green cups was highest. The CATA revealed that the coffee sample in the green cup showed the most flavor attribute. Conclusion: This study showed that cup color influenced the perceived basic taste and sensory characteristics of coffee samples.

        원두와 물의 비율에 따른 커피의 감각특성 연구 - 콜롬비아 커피를 중심으로 -

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the change in the sensory characteristics of coffee with varing ratio of coffee to water(50 g(C50), 55 g(C55), 60 g(C60), 65 g(C65), 70 g(C70) / 1 L) with a focus on Colombian coffee. Methods: The pH and total dissolved solids content(TDS) were measured. The sensory characteristics were assessed through, a quantitative descriptive analysis(QDA) of 15 sensory attributes by 10 trained panelists, and a consumer acceptance test was conducted on 35 consumers. Results: The pH of Colombian coffee was observed to be the highest in the C50 sample. TDS increased with an increase in the coffee to water ratio. Quantitative descriptive analysis results showed that the brownness of appearance, sweetness, acidity, overall taste, several aroma/flavor attributes(brown sugar, dark chocolate, caramel, woody), and aftertaste increased with the increase in the ratio of coffee to water, while bitterness and body decreased. The results of principal component analysis (PCA) showed that PC1 and PC2 account for 65.86% and 21.97% respectively of the total variance, wherein PC1 was the criterion for classifying coffee samples according to the ratio of coffee to water. Partial least square regression (PLSR) results showed that C60, C50, and C55 in order were all close to of acceptance, but C70 was positioned in the opposite direction of acceptance. Conclusion: The ratio of ground coffee to water is an important factor that affects sensory quality and consumer acceptance of final coffee, the range of ideal brew ratio for brewing Colombian coffee is 50-60 g/L.

        기능성 소화불량증의 진단: 체계적인 문헌고찰

        This review tried to set up an initial diagnostic strategy in patients with functional dyspepsia. Dyspepsia was defined as chronic or recurrent pain, or discomfort centered in the upper abdomen (i.e., epigastrium), excluding heartburn and acute abdominal conditions. We reviewed the available data in order to produce currently applicable recommendations for the diagnosis of dyspepsia in Korea. Two investigators independently conducted an independent literature search of published reports on dyspepsia and diagnosis, including alarm symptoms, Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) test, empirical pharmacological therapy, and early upper gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy. The evidence concerning alarm features does not allow clear guideline whether early endoscopy should be performed or not. In Asia, including Korea, the prevalence of H. pylori and gastric cancer are high. Therefore, `H. pylori test and treatment` strategy is not suitable for the initial diagnostic approach for uninvestigated dyspepsia. Long-term empirical pharmacological therapy is not recommended in Korea because of the possibility of missing or delaying the diagnosis of gastric cancer. There have been a lot of evidences showing that early upper GI endoscopy might be more effective than empirical medication, which is different from Western countries. However, cut-off age for early endoscopy is not clear, especially in case of young age. Further research is necessary to define highrisk age for gastric cancer and for a health economic study in the management of patients with dyspepsia in Korea.         Azathioprine (AZA) is widely used for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease. Bone marrow suppression is a common side effect with AZA treatment. However, data from AZA trials has indicated that a leukocyte count less than 5,000/mm3 was a good predictor of induction and maintenance of remission. Moreover, there is evidence that eradication of sensitized leukocytes by leukapheresis or bone marrow transplantation improves inflammatory bowel disease. We report a case of a patient who had a chronic relapse of ulcerative colitis requiring the frequent use of systemic steroids, but presented prolonged remission following AZA-induced severe pancytopenia. Also colonoscopy showed accelerated healing of diffuse active ulcers following just recovery from pancytopenia. (Intest Res 2008;6:85-89)

        궤양성 대장염 환자에서 발생한 신정맥혈전증

        Venous thrombosis and thromboembolism appear to occur more often in patient with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). The cause of thrombotic complications in IBD is generally considered to be associated with hyper-coagulable conditions. Its prevalence rate ranges from 1% to 8% in clinical studies and rises to 39% in autopsy, but the renal vein thrombosis is very rare complication in ulcerative colitis patient. A 24-year-old man presented with intermittent abdominal pain and hematochezia for 6 months and recently developed pitting edema for few weeks. He was diagnosed as severe ulcerative colitis involving whole colon combined with thrombosis in both renal veins by colonoscopy and computed tomography scan of abdomen. We used steroid for the treatment of ulcerative colitis and both intravenous lower molecular weight heparin and warfarin for renal vein thrombosis. His symptoms were improved after treatment and maintained with mesalazine and warfarin. Follow-up abdominal CT scan showed complete resolution of both renal vein thrombosis. Currently he has been followed up for 2 years with oral mesalazine. (Korean J Gastroenterol 2009;54:248-251)
