모더니즘 작가들과 물질주의 연구: 울프와 웨스트의 전쟁과 젠더 다시보기

본 연구의 목적은 비인간주의적인 사물을 중심으로 하는 물질주의 서술방식이 과연 의식을 중심으로 한 인간중심주의인 모더니즘 방식과는 어떻게 다르게 나타나는지를 분석하는 것이다. 우선적으로 20세기 초 가장 두드러진 작품 활동을 두 명의 여성작가 버지니아 울프와 레베카 웨스트를 선정하여 그들의 작품을 통하여 ‘젠더 문제’를 물질주의 이론을 통해 새롭게 접근하고자 한다. 우선적으로 울프에 대해서는 그녀의 주요 논평과 등대로 과 같은 작품을 통해 전쟁과 관련해서 물질주의와 젠더 문제를 접근한다. 다음으로 웨스트의 군인의 귀환 에서 전쟁 참전 후 기억상실증과 같은 전쟁후유증을 지니고 돌아온 남편과 그를 치료하고자 하는 평범한 가정주부인 아내 사이의 관계를 통해젠더 문제를 살펴본다. 울프와 웨스트는 20세기 중엽까지 두 번의 세계대전을 겪으면서도 사회운동과 작품 활동을 통해 여권신장에 앞서왔다. 따라서 본 연구는 모더니즘 작가들의 특성과 물질주의 의미가 표면적으로 상반됨에도 불구하고 물질주의적인 측면에서 남성들의 가부장적 사고방식, 전쟁 후유증, 그리고 여성들의 젠더 문제를 새롭게 접근하는데 큰 의미가 있다. This study aims at analyzing at the characteristics of materialistic narratives centered on inhuman objects, as opposed to modernist narratives based on consciousness. I first select two female novelists, Virginia Woolf and Rebecca West, who did some of the most prominent activities of writing in the early of 20th century in order to examine the meanings of war and gender through a theory of materialism. First of all, regarding to Woolf, I approach materialism and gender issues in relation to war through her main comments and work like To the Lighthouse. Next, in West’s The Return of the Soldier, I look at the gender issue through the relationship between a husband who comes back with the aftermath of war such as amnesia, and a wife who is an ordinary housewife trying to cure him. Woolf and West have been ahead of women’s rights through social movements and works even after two World Wars until the mid-20th century. Therefore, this study plays an important role in taking a new approach toward the patriarchy of men, the aftereffects of war, and the gender issue of women in the view of materialism in spite of the apparent confrontation between the characteristics of modernist writers and materialism.

Modem chemical processes are becoming more complicated. The sophisticated chemical processes have needed the fault diagnosis expert systems that can detect and diagnose the faults of some processes and give an advice to the operator in the event of process faults. We present the Time-Delay Neural Network (TDNN) approach for on-line fault diagnosis. The on-line fault diagnosis system finds the exact origin of the fault of which the symptom is propagated continuously with time. The proposed method has been applied to a pilot distillation column to show the merits and applicability of the TDNN.

2015 개정 교육과정 적용을 위한 자기주도적 문법 교수·학습 방안과 평가

본 연구는 2015 개정 교육과정의 ‘문법’ 교육에의 시사점을 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 실제적 문법 교수·학습 방안을 구안하는 것이 연구의 목적이다. 본 연구에서 분석한 교육의 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 2015 개정 교육과정에서 가장 강조되고 있는 것은 ’핵심역량‘이며, 국어과의 경우 ’핵심 성취기준‘이라고 파악할 수 있다. 둘째, 학생 참여형 수업의 활성화와 자기주도적 학습 능력 향상을 위한 교수·학습 방법이 필요하다. 셋째, 학습 과정을 중시하는 평가와 교수·학습과 평가의 일관성이 중요하다. 이러한 시사점을 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 ‘음운의 변동’ 단원 자기주도적 원리·태도학습모형을 새롭게 구안해 보았다. 이를 통하여 2015 개정 교육과정의 중점사항을 반영하여 원리 및 태도 체계로서의 문법 교육의 새로운 방향을 제시하고, 교수·학습방법 및 평가의 변화를 도모하고자 하였다. This study is trying to come up with more practical measures for grammar teaching and learning by analyzing the National Curriculum 2015 Revision, which leads to three main implications below. First, one of the things emphasized in the National Curriculum 2015 Revision is the core competency . This is a fundamental issue of what to teach, and, as for the subject of Korean Language, it can be understood as the core achievement standard. Second, it is required to develop teaching and learning measures to booster more student participation and improve students self-directed learning ability. Third, there should be coherence between learning, teaching and evaluation emphasizing the learning process. Based on these, a teaching-learning model followed by an evaluation is created in the unit of phonological variation. The core competency was focused on establishing attitudes with which students try to understand the characteristics of Korean language through grammatical knowledge they learned and then reflect their own language use. This model consists of two parts of a grammar class; one focuses on the grammar aspect as an explanatory system, where mainly the teacher explains the grammar using the languages which stimulate students to explore more(teacher 80: students 20), and the other focuses on developing both a principle and an attitude, where students mainly have individual or group activities(teacher 20: students 80). Through this, it was intended to present the new direction of grammar education as a principle and attitude system by reflecting the focus of the 2015 revised curriculum. In addition, I wanted to change the teaching and learning methods and evaluation.

폐쇄형 식물생산 시스템에서 태양광 채광시스템 연구

In this study, a solar light collector that collects and transmits solar light required for crop production in a closed plant production system was developed. The solar light collector consisted of a Fresnel lens for collecting solar light, and a tracking actuator for tracking solar light from sunrise to sunset to increase the light collection efficiency. The optical fiber that transmitted solar light was made of Glass Optical Fiber (GOF), and it had an excellent optical transmission rate. After collecting the solar light, the amount of light was measured at 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 cm distances from the GOF through the darkroom by using a light sensor logger connected to a quantum and pyranometer sensor. Compared with solar light, the light intensity of pyranometer sensor measured at 5 cm was 114% higher than solar light, and 61% at 10 cm. In addition, it was observed that it is possible to transmit the necessary amount of light for growing crops up to about 15 cm (as over 22%) through GOF. Therefore, adding diffusers to the solar light collector should be expected to replace artificial light in plant factories or plug seedlings nurseries for leafy vegetables. More studies on the solar light collection devices and the light transmission devices that have high light collection efficiency should be conducted.

참외 스마트팜 기술 적용을 위한 수직·수경재배 기술

최근 4차 산업 혁명시대가 도래되면서 농업 부분에서도 유리온실이나 플라스틱(비닐) 온실 환경제어에 ICT 기반 첨단 기술들이 적용되고 있다. 이러한 기술 적용은 작물에 최적 환경을 제공함으로써 적절한 생육은 물론 품질향상과 최고의 수량이라는 문제를 해결할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 스마트팜 기술은 로봇이나 스마트폰을 활용하여 작물의 생육상황 점검, 병충해 예찰 및 진단, 수확량 예측 등은 물론 최적의 시설환경 관리 등에 활용되고 있다. 참외는 포복성 작물이기 때문에 줄기를 땅 위에서 유인하는 방법으로 재배를 하고 있어서 연작장해 발생이 많고, 품질향상에도 한계가 있다. 이러한 재배방식은 참외 정식 후 곁순 제거, 덩굴 유인, 수확 작업 등 수작업으로 수행하기 때문에 첨단 스마트팜 기술을 적용하기가 어렵고, 작업 시 허리, 어깨, 무릎 등 관절을 주로 사용해야 하므로 노동 강도가 커진다. 따라서 이러한 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 새로운 재배기술 요구가 컸다. 참외 수경재배는 전용 배양액이 없어서 멜론 배양액 조성표를 기준으로 사용하였고, 배지는 시판중인 코이어배지(칩:더스트=5:5)를 사용하였다. 양액농도(EC)는 생육단계별로 1.0-2.0dS/m, pH는 6.0으로 조절하였으며 양액공급량은 0.8-1.5L/일/주 범위에서 관리하였다. 참외 수직재배는 줄기 유인 방식을 상향과 하향방식으로 하였다. 상향 방식은 바닥에서 80cm 높이에 설치된 재배 배드에 참외를 정식하고, 상부에 있는 파이프에 유인끈을 고정하고 끈을 사용하여 상향으로 줄 유인하였다. 하향 방식은 행잉거터로 180cm 높이에 있는 재배베드에 정식하고, 참외 줄기를 유인끈을 사용하지 않고 아래 방향으로 늘어뜨려 주는 방법으로 유인하였다. 참외는 손자줄기에 착과가 되는 작물로 어미덩굴을 5-6마디에서 순지르기 하고 아들줄기 2줄기를 키우는데 아들줄기도 12-15마디에서 순지르기를 하였다. 이후 손자줄기가 발생하는데 아들줄기 5마디 이하에서 발생되는 손자줄기는 제거하고 그 이후에 발생되는 손자덩굴에 착과를 시켰다. 착과는 1줄기 당 4개씩, 1주당 8개로 하였고, 그 이상 착과된 것은 제거하였다. 그 결과, 참외 수경 수직재배는 생육, 광합성, 근활력 및 수확량 등 원예학적 특성은 문제가 없었다. 줄기를 상향으로 유인하는 처리구가 생육 및 광합성 특성이 좋았고, 근활력은 하향 줄기 유인 처리구에서 좋은 것으로 나타났으며 상품수량에 있어서는 상향 처리구가 10a 기준으로 4.055kg, 하향 처리구가 3,983kg으로 통계적인 유의성은 없었다. 작업자의 노동강도를 측정 한 결과, 기존 땅위에 포복재배는 3수준으로 위험수준이 매우 높고 작업자세 개선이 시급한 수준인데, 상향 줄기유인 방법은 1수준, 하향 줄기유인 방법은 0으로 위험수준이 크게 줄어드는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 참외 수직․ 수경재배는 농작업 시 노동 강도를 낮출 수 있고, 품질 균일성을 높일 수 있으며 스마트팜 기술을 활용한 생육 계측, 병해중 예찰 및 진단, 수확량 예측 등이 가능한 새로운 재배방법으로 기존 포복재배 방식을 대체할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

생태현상학으로 버지니아 울프 다시보기: 큐「식물원」과 『플러쉬』에 나타난 자연의 생태와 그 의미

The primary goal of this study aims at understanding Virginia Woolf from the phenomenological point of view in order to understand the way of communication and mutual difference between humans and inhuman nature among Woolf's works unlike the existing human-centered criticisms. First of all, I look at the nature of Merleau-Ponty's phenomenology in order to discuss ecology and its meaning through Woolf's works. I also try to identify how the human emotional involvement in nature plays an important role in the formation of a plot, and how it is occurring. In addition, it is shown that the gap between human and nature can be overcome while emphasizing the existence of an integrated unity in the universe. Among the works of Woolf, works that can provide the material of ecological phenomenology critically by combining the natural environment including the animals and the human conscious world appropriately, are an essay “Kew Gardens” in The Common Reader and a short novel Flush. First of all, it is necessary to examine how the natural environment is combined with humans to pursue the value of nature. In “Kew Gardens”, there are a description of mutable voice interchange between humans and flowers, and even some consciousness of a snail treated as human life. In Flush, it is also depicted that the sense of smell of a dog surpasses human sensory abilities. Woolf portrays the communication between human and inhuman animals or nature as if it were showing a kind of real communication among people. In the end, she is re-illuminating the values of both characteristics of animals and natural environment elements that have not been treated as the core in anthropocentric society.

파울즈의『프랑스 중위의 여인』에 나타난 여성성과 자연

  This paper aims at examining how the "eco-feminism" is shown in John Fowles" The French Lieutenant"s Woman. During the past male-centered authoritarian age until the beginning of 20-century, "eco-feminism" has rarely been discussed because the ideas of development and destruction have dominated the behavior of people. Nevertheless, eco-feminism intends to revamp the dominant traditional male-centered norm as well as the trend of scientific civilization on the basis of creating the new paradigm of "eco-feminism."<BR>  The beginning background of The French Lieutenant"s Woman is Lymes bay outstretching toward England"s southwestern leg. The long description of the background shows that the motif of this novel makes an attempt to create the human living together with nature in harmony. Fowles even describes the Lymes bay as an "English Garden of Eden." In addition to the natural background, the heroine Sarah Woodruff plays an import role regarding to studying femininity. She seems to be ambiguous and mysterious and even raises some questions on whether she is really feminist or tragic woman. Under the 19th century patriarch-centered society, she tries to act against the dominant theory that women is always located under control of the men. In spite of Mrs. Poulteney"s obstinacy and opposition, she feels comfortable by ingoing and outgoing to Ware Commons where women are not allowed to reach. Ware Commons gives her not only a natural asylum but also a kind of liberation emotion away from the authoritarian male-centered society.<BR>  In spite of the authoritarian environment, she tries to oppose the traditional dichotomy that classifies "culture and nature or male and female." She finds it foolish to put the different concepts into the opposite completely. Even though she has the origin of low-brow, she insists on "the universal parity of existence" that focuses on the importance of individual being together with nature. She has overcome the disgrace of "outcast" colored in Lymes bay, futhermore having a keen power of observation to look for the agreement between human and nature. Finally, she seeks not the ideology of liberation based on feminism theory, but the right universal equality.

조혈세포의 분화과정에서 발현되는 유전자의 3' UTR 염기서열의 변화가 유전자 기능의 조절에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구

The 3' UTR(3' untranslated region) plays important roles in controlling gene expression through regulating 3' polyadenylation, mRNA export, subcellular localization, translational efficiency, and mRNA stability. Changes in the 3' UTR sequence in an expressed transcript can result in functional changes of the genes that are expressed in pathological conditions compared with those genes expressed in normal physiologic conditions. A genome-wide survey of 3' UTR variation was performed for the genes expressed during hematopoietic differentiation from CD34+ stem/progenitor cells to CD15+ myeloid progenitor cells. Wide-spread differential usage of the 3' UTR was observed from the genes expressed during this celluar transition. This study implies that the 3' UTR can be a highly coordinated region for post-transcriptional regulation of the function of expressed genes.
