In this paper, we proposed a wideband design of planar inverted-F antenna(PIFA) using two-layer, patches and modified ground structure. The antenna consists of two layer patches with common feed and modified ground plane to control resonance frequency and antenna input impedance. The measured bandwidth is 1,492 MHz(BW: 67.7 %, 1,457${\sim}2,949$ MHz) for VSWR<2, and 1,170 MHz(BW: 21 %, 4,970${\sim}$6,140 MHz) for VSWR<2.5. It covers service bands of DCS1800, DCS1900, UMTS(WCDMA), WiBro, WLAN(IEEE 802.11b), satellite DMB. WLAN(IEEE 802.11a) in Korea and radiation patterns shows constant figure with frequency change.

안구운동이 노인의 정적균형과 낙상효능감에 미치는 영향

Purpose: This study is to identify how eye movement influences the static balance and fall efficacy of the elderly who have experienced fall-related injuries. Methods: Thirty nine elderly who scored 24 points in the Korean mini mental state examination, were able to walk, and had no specific disease, were selected as the research subjects among elderly who have experienced fall-related injury more than once in the past year. Thus, 20 for the experimental group, and 19 for the control group were selected as subjects. The experiment was conducted for 6 weeks, including periods of evaluation before and after intervention. Results: The results with respect to the dependent variables are as follows: Substitute sample t-testing showed significant differences between each group in eye movement to check difference in balance performance and fall efficacy. When independent sample t-tests were conducted to compare static balancing performance and fall efficacy between the two groups after intervention, they showed significant differences in statistical terms (p<0.05). Conclusion: From the above results of the study, it was found that the application of eye movement combined with diverse fall prevention programs is effective, when enhancing static balance performance power and improving fall efficacy.

이완음악이 신체유연성과 스트레스에 미치는 영향

Background : The purpose of this study is to identify how the relaxation music listening during exercise influences body flexibility and stress. Methods : Twenty healthy adults 20s and 30s who lack of body flexibility were recruited and each subjects performed exercise during the relaxation music listening or no listening. Bach, aria of linear G was used as the relaxation music. The experiment was conducted for 4 weeks. In this study, PASW ver 18.0 was utilized to perform non-parametric tests for comparisons. Result : The result with respect to the dependent variables are as follows: When non-parametric tests were conducted to compare body flexibility at the test of the right ear touch behind head by left hand and the stretching hands test between the two groups after exercise, they showed significant differences in statistical terms (p<.05). Conclusion : From the above results of the study it was found that the application of the relaxation music during the exercise is effective, it improved the body flexibility of the right ear touch behind head by left hand and the stretching hands more than the exercise without the relaxation music did. The outcome of the experiment may provide basic data for developing an effective way to increase body flexibility.

재킷 패턴 기반의 F-LDPC 부호

In this paper, we consider the encoding scheme of Low Density Parity Check codes. In particular, using the Jacket Pattern and circulant permutation matrices, we propose the simple encoding scheme of Richardson's lower triangular matrix. These encoding scheme can be extended to a flexible code rate. Based on the simple matrix process, also we can design low complex and simple encoders for the flexible code rates.

석회석 폐광산 지역을 활용한 골프코스 건설 -오스타 단양 골프코스의 사례연구-

The purpose of this case study is to analyze the environmental and sociological impacts on a golf course construction at the damaged area of a previous limestone mine. Due to a long term of the open-pit mining, that site had been abandoned with geographical and ecological destruction before it was renovated to Ostar Danyang public golf course. This study is focused on the review of restoring the ecosystem through golf course construction procedures. Literature surveys of restoration through golf course construction in Japan and Canada were analyzed the procedure of utilization of previously existed lime mine. The sociological and environmental changes before and after construction were compared and analyzed. Environmental impacts on geographical, animal and plant ecology, and water quality were not affected or significantly improved after golf course construction from the mining site existed before. The local economy was also improved by increasing employment of resident and tax payment to local government. The construction of golf course could be one of the typical alternatives of ecological restoration of abandoned lime mine. Moreover in this project, minimizing the environmental impacts on surrounding ecosystem was emphasized by a larger size of developing construction. The harmonious lay-out on nature and artificial landscape were also considered a very first stage of construction procedure.

키네시오 테이핑이 장 활성도에 미치는 영향

Background : The purpose of this study is to find out the impact of kinesio-taping method for female university students, who are vulnerable to constipation, on the activation of intestine. Methods : This study has been conducted for a total of three weeks including the pre-inspection, and it explained the purpose of the study upon selecting the adequate subjects who met the criteria for constipation among the female students. And It chose the nine students, who agreed to the experiment, as the subjects. It verified the frequency and time of excretion before experiment and the constipation ejaculation measure, and compared pre-arbitration with post-arbitration as for the time and frequency of excrement, the point of constipation ejaculation measure, etc. after two weeks since the application of tape. Result : The frequency of excrement after arbitration increased compared with pre-arbitration as result of the application of kinesio-taping method, and the time, which was taken for excrement, decreased. It was also shown that the point decreased in the point comparison for constipation ejaculation measure; thus, it obtained the result that showed the improvement of the level of constipation and all were statistically significant(p<.05). Conclusion : It is believed that kinesio-taping method has a positive impact on the activation of intestine of female university students.

Biphenyl 유도체의 니트로화 반응에서 위치선택성

The ratio of regioisomers in nitration of biphenyl derivatives containing electron-with-drawing group was examined. The ratio of isomers was determined efficiently by quantitative analysis of $^1$H NMR spectrum of product mixture based on $^1$H NMR spectrum of each isomer. Some isomers were isolated after chemical transformation, nitro to amine or carboxylic acid to its ethyl ester, because direct separation was very difficult. To improve the regiselectivity, representative several reaction conditions were tried and the NMR method was applied to determine regioselectivity in nitration of biphenyl derivatives. It was observed that the regioselectivity depend on not only reaction conditions but also position and kind of substituents.

3G CDMA 시스템을 위한 확장 준직교 함수

The forward link of the 3G CDMA system may become limited under the increasing of the number of users. The conventional channelization code, Walsh code, has not enough sizes f3r much possible users, therefore, the quasi orthogonal function(QOF), which process optimal crosscorrelation with Walsh code, is considered. In this paper, we investigate quasi orthogonal function on Jacket matrices, which can lead lower correlations values and better performance in 3G CDMA system. Moreover, to simplify the detector and improve the BER performance, a novel detection for QOF CDMA system is proposed. Finally, the simple recursive generation of the bent sequences for QOF mask function is discussed.

노인의 인지기능에 따른 동적 균형과 삶의 질에 대한 비교 연구

Background : The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data. Elderly cognitive identify the difference between dynamic balance and quality of life according to the performance level of the clinical exercise therapy and cognitive training. Methods : This study was conducted to collect data from October 17th in 2011 until October 28th, to target seniors who living in Yong-in, Gyeonggi-do. Results : The results of the statistical analysis according to the cognitive ability to function. Higher cognitive functions, the dynamic balance ability was higher, and higher quality of life. Also showed that the dynamic balance ability and a high quality of life to the higher cognitive functions(p<.05). Conclusion : For the maintenance and promotion of cognitive function in the elderly, physical therapy approach seems to improve the quality of life and still plays an important role, as well as the promotion of dynamic balance ability. Therefore, to improve cognitive function is thought to be the appropriate intervention methods and approaches to be developed.
