Sensors collect information for Internet of Things (IoT)-based services. However, indoor construction sites have a poor communication environment and many interfering elements that make it difficult to collect sensor information. In this study, a network was constructed between a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)-based IoT device based on a serverless IoT framework and a router. This experimental environment was applied to large- and small-scale indoor construction sites. Experiments were performed to test the communication performance of BLE-based IoT devices and routers at indoor construction sites. An analysis of the received signal strength indication (RSSI) graph patterns collected from the communication between the BLE-based IoT devices and routers for different testbed site situation revealed areas with good communication performance and poor communication performance due to interfering factors. The results confirmed that structural components of the building as well as the materials, equipment, and temporary facilities used in indoor construction interfere with the communication performance. Construction project managers will require improved technical knowledge of IoT, such as optimizing the router placement and matching communication between the router and workers, to improve the communication performance for large-scale indoor construction.
Government Regulations on Cellular Therapy and Proposed Approach Related with These Products by KFDA

Advances in biomedical technology has enabled the research and use of novel therapies in cellular transplantation. A number of trials using chondrocyte and autologous skin products are underway and will soon become commercially available for clinical utilization. However, the Korea Food and Drug Administration currently lack systematic regulations for efficacy and safety evaluation of the emerging therapies. Specifically, dose related studies are uncontrolled and availability of clinical research centers is inadequate. Thus, patients are receiving therapy without guidelines for indication, dose, and adequate safety profiles. We propose criteria for cases in which these therapies can be used and advocate IRB determined quality assurance for future research.
cDNA Cloning and Expression of a Human Interferon-$\gamma$ in E. coli

인간의 peripheralblood lymphocyte에서 분리된 poly (A)$^+mRNA$를 사용하여 ${\lambda}gt$ 10 cDNA library를 제조하였으며, 화학적으로 합성한 oligonucleotide를 이용하여, 이 cDNA library로부터 IFN-$\gamma$ 유전자를 갖는 DNA을 분리했다. 분리된 clone 가운데 하나인 pBK04는 IFN-$\gamma$의 전체 염기서열을 갖고 있었다. IFN-$\gamma$를 E. coli내에서 발현시키기 위해 lpp promotor를 함유하고 있 는 pINIIIA3 vector를 사용하여 IFN-$\gamma$를 발현시킬 수 있는 재조합 plasmid ($pKS{\gamma}3B$)를 제조하였다. $pKS{\gamma}3B$로써 형질 변환된 bacterial cell을 antiviral activity에 의해 역가 분석을 해본 결과, 높은 정도로 IFN-$\gamma$를 발현시켰으며 이 IFN-$\gamma$는 천연의 IFN-$\gamma$에 대하여 특이성이 있는 monoclonal antibody에 의해서도 인지되었다. High copy number를 갖는 expression vector를 제조 (pHK-3) 하였으며, 이 high copy number vector를 사용하므로써 IFN-$\gamma$의 생성이 증가되는 사실을 확인하였다. One of the clones (pBK04) which hybridized to the oligomer was confirmed to have the whole IFN-$\gamma$ coding sequence. The eDNA insert was used to express IFN-$\gamma$ in E. coli under the control of lpp promoter employing pINIIIA3 vector. Cells harboring the recombinant plasmid ($pKS{\gamma}3B$) expressed high level of IFN-$\gamma$ assayed by antiviral activity, The molecule was also recognized by monoclonal antibody specific to a natural IFN-$\gamma$. An expression vector with high copy number (pHK-3) was constructed and was successfully used for the improvement of the expression of IFN-$\gamma$.
A Study on Chinese Smart Construction Strategy by SWOT Analysis

Nowadays, BIM(Building Information Modeling) technology has been slowly accepted and developed around the world, making smart construction possible. Many countries are also actively promoting the comprehensive application of BIM and changing the traditional construction methods of the construction industry. This study reviews foreign and domestic literature reviews on BIM application barriers and smart construction applications, providing a theoretical basis for Chinese construction enterprises to reduce or eliminate BIM application barriers. Based on the common feature of policies or strategies that promote the development of smart construction in developed countries, such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and Singapore, the deficiencies of China's smart construction policies for construction enterprises are analyzed. Moreover, according to the literature review of the development status of China's construction industry, the SWOT analysis matrix of China's smart construction strategy is obtained. Finally, based on the SWOT matrix analysis results, combined with the development status of China's construction industry and the obstacles faced by smart construction, the portfolio strategies and recommendations for the development of smart construction are proposed in this work. These portfolio strategies and recommendations can provide a reference value for construction enterprises.
Factors Affecting the Growth of Coriolus versicolor in a Submerged Culture

Various fermentation parameters were investigated to maximize the mycelial growth of Coriolus versicolor (Fr.) Quel in a submerged culture. These included pH, temperature, agitation speed and aeration rate. The broth pH was found to be very important for growth of the fungi and the optimal range was between 5.0 and 5.5. However, the culture temperature showed insignificant effects on the growth between 25 and 32℃. Both agitation speed and aeration rate affected the morphology and the final concentration of the mycelium. It was also found from shake flask culture experiments that Coriolus versicolor could utilize molasses. Macronutrient (i.e., glucose, yeast extract and molasses) concentrations of the fermentation medium were optimized by the experimental factorial design and response surface method.

단부 파쇄 후 수직철근 보강공법이 적용된 2층 철근콘크리트 구조벽체의 휨 거동 특성

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the flexural behavior of flexural retrofitted shear walls connected to slabs retrofitted with vertical rebar after wall end crushing. The main variable was the application of the flexural retrofit method. The evaluation of the effect of the shear studs when the retrofit method was applied was intentionally constructed with 60% of the actual required number. As a result of this experiment, it was possible to confirm the strength increase of about 56% with the flexural retrofit. As suggested in the previous study, the retrofitted wall and the existing wall exhibited partial composite behavior, which resulted in the deformation of the slab and the phenomenon of the concrete covering falling off. Double curvature appeared as a strain on the upper part of the wall when it was reversed. The part where the moment was reversed appeared to be the upper part of the wall and not the center. It was confirmed that the damage to the slab was greater when the joint section of the existing wall and the new wall were subjected to tension. Additionally, it was judged that this should be considered when designing the retrofit of the slab and the shear wall.
