        물리치료사의 직무만족에 영향을 미치는 요인

        Purpose: This study aimed to analyze factors that influence the job satisfaction of physical therapists working in hospitals. Methods: The study was done using a self-administered questionnaire associated with job satisfaction, which was completed by 352 physical therapists working in hospitals. Results: The average job satisfaction score was 3.16. Sub-items scores for job satisfaction were higher for overall satisfaction (3.21) and lower for job satisfaction of achievement (3.12) than the average score. Job satisfaction of subjects showed statistically significant differences with regard to differences in sex, marriage, type of hospital, year of total career, type of patients and motivation level (p<0.05). The average job stress score was 2.38. The sub-items of job stress consisted of problems pertaining to physical environment (2.28), job demand (2.54), job autonomy (2.31), social support (2.14), job instability (2.36), organized management system (2.44), inner motive (2.24), and job culture (2.26). Multiple regression analysis revealed that job satisfaction became significantly lower with increasing levels of job stress. Conclusion: These results suggest that the job stress of physical therapists is closely related to their job satisfaction. An effort to reduce job stress may be helpful in improving the health and quality of life of physical therapists who work in hospitals.

        제동 강성감 향상 인자에 대한 해석 및 검증에 관한 연구

        Conventional brake system was used for passenger cars and SUV for a long time. However, the high performance brake system has strongly required because of increase of engine power and customer's favorites etc. In this paper, a new high performance brake system for Europe was proposed. For this system, the high performance caliper and disc were newly developed. The superiorities of the developed high performance brake system were verified via heat capacity, hydraulic stiffness, corrosion and harsh braking mode test. Also, the high performance caliper and disc for the light-weight were applied to AL-Alloy and can obtain the weight reduction effect of 2.9 kg per vehicle. Finally, a developed high performance brake system is expected to be used for realization of the high performance at the same platforms.

        강직성 척추염 환자의 신체기능에 대한 운동치료의 효과

        The aim of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of exercise therapy on physical function of patients with anklyosing spondylitis (AS) through the systemic review and meta-analysis. The 54 studies were identified from computerized search of published researches on PubMed, Embase, CINAHL, PEDro, KISS, KERIS database until February, 2008 and review of reference lists. The main search terms were the combination “ankylosing spondylitis”, “exercise”, “spondyloarthropathy and exercise”, “ankylosing spondylitis and physical therapy”. The subgroup analysis was performed by the publication year, quality score, type of disease, content of intervention, intervention provider, type of intervention, method of intervention, intervention period and the point of outcome measured. Two reviewers independently selected trials for inclusion, assessed the quality and extracted the data. The result was as follows: The 10 trials were eligible for inclusion criteria, then the systematic review and meta-analysis was assessed on effectiveness of exercise therapy. The meta-analysis of 10 studies based on the random effect model showed that the exercise therapy was beneficial in treating the diseases (effect size .55; 95% confidence interval -.3.75~.61). The findings suggest that the exercise therapy would be appropriate to manage the physical function of AS with evidence based on Meta-analysis. Therefore, the exercise therapy supervised by physical therapist should be recognized as the essential approach to manage the AS and necessarily recommended to improve physical function.

        마늘 추출물의 고등어육에서의 히스타민 생성 억제

        본 연구에서 고등어육을 4°C와 15°C에서 저장하면서 마늘추출물을 2.5, 5.0, 7.5%를 첨가한 시험구와 대조구를 비교하여 히스타민의 저감화 효과를 조사하였다. 일반세균수는 저장 초기에 대조구와 추출물 처리구의 일반세균수는 비슷하게 측정되었으나 저장시간이 경과함에 따라 차이가 있어 6일 경과 후 7.5% 첨가구는 대조구의 일반세균수 대비 1log cycle 정도 균이 억제되었다. 저장기간 경과에 따른 지방산 조성의 변화는 4°C와 15°C에서 저장 중 eicosapentaenoic acid(EPA, C20:5)와 docosahexaenoic acid(DHA, C22:6)가 대조구에서 감소하였으나 마늘 추출물 첨가구에서는 다소 상승하였다. 휘발성 염기질소는 4°C와 15°C 저장실험 모두 시간이 경과함에 따라 지속해서 상승하였으나 마늘 추출물 첨가구의 휘발성 염기질소 함량이 낮게 나타나 마늘 추출물의 첨가는 고등어의 부패지연에 효과가 있었다. 히스타민 발생은 저장 초기에는 모든 실험구에서 히스타민이 검출되지 않았고 4°C 저장 실험구의 경우 3일차에서 대조구만 42.87 mg/kg 검출되었다. 15°C 저장 시에도 저장기간이 경과할수록 지속해서 히스타민이 증가하였으나 마늘추출물 첨가 농도가 높을수록 히스타민 생성억제 효과가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 이는 고등어의 저장성 연장에 도움을 줄 수 있다고 생각된다. This study was carried out to investigate the effects of garlic extract on histamine reduction in mackerel meat stored at 4°C and 15°C, respectively. The number of total bacteria in mackerel meat treated with 7.5% garlic extract was ten times lower than that of the control stored for 6 days of 4°C. However, there was no difference among the samples after 9 days of storage. Reduction of eicosapentaenoic acid (C20:5) and docosahexaenoic acid (C22:6) contents was observed in the normal control group at both temperatures. However, contents of these two polyunsaturated fatty acids slightly increased in garlic extract-treated fish. Amounts of volatile basic nitrogen increased over time in the control group, but decreased in the garlic extract-treated meat, indicating that garlic extract might suppress decomposition. No histamine was detected initially in all samples. However, a small amount of histamine (42.87 mg/kg) was detected in the control at 3 days after storage at 4°C. Histamine content increased continuously with storage period but was lower in mackerel meat containing garlic extract, in which histamine suppression was proportional to the concentration of garlic extract. It can be concluded that garlic extract could be utilized to extend the storage period of mackerel.

      • 사이클로알리파틱계 에폭시 수지 변성 비스E 타입의 시아네이트 에스터 경화물의 경화 거동 및 기계적 물성에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 사이클로 알리파틱계 에폭시로 변성한 비스E 타입 시아네이트 에스터 수지를 Rheometer와 DSC로 분석하여 점도와 경화물의 유리전이온도 변화를 연구하고자 하였다. 에폭시로 변성한 시아네이트 에스터 수지의 점도는 에폭시량에 비례하여 상승하였고, 170℃ 이하에서는 비교적 안정적인 점도 변화 거동을 보였다. 유리전이온도는 에폭시 함량 증가에 따라 내려갔으나, 후경화시간 도입으로 높은 유리전이온도가 달성됨을 확인하였다. 따라서 사이클로알리파틱계 에폭시 수지는 비스E 타입 시아네이트에스터 수지의 점도를 효과적으로 개질하는 안정한 가소제인 것으로 판단되었다. This study was focused on the behavior of viscosity and glass transition temperature of bis E type cyanate ester resin with cycloaliphatic epoxy by Rheometer and DSC. The viscosity of cyanate ester with epoxy resin was increased in proportion to the amount of the epoxy and less than 170℃ it was relatively stable. The glass transition temperature went down in accordance with the increase in epoxy content. However, high glass transition temperature could be achieved by introducing post cure. Therefore, it was indicated that the epoxy resin was the effectively stable additive of the cyanate ester resin.

        팔걸이가 뇌졸중 환자의 보행속도 및 에너지 소모량에 미치는 영향

        This study was undertaken to identify the influence which affect on gait speed and energy consumption regarding putting on arm sling during gait of the 40 hemiplegic patients selected from University Hospital and rehabilitation center in seoul during two months. The analysis of data was performed using the paired samples ttest to compare the differences of gait velocity, heart rate, oxygen consumption and oxygen cost in gait of preand post- arm sling. The results of this study were as follows; 1. When comparing the result before putting on arm sling in the gait of hemiplegic patient, gait velocity after putting on arm sling was statistically significantly increased(p<.05). 2. When comparing the result before putting on arm sling in the gait of hemiplegic patient, heart rate after putting on arm sling was statistically significantly decreased(p<.05). 3. When comparing the result before putting on arm sling in the gait of hemiplegic patient, oxygen consumption per weight after putting on arm sling was statistically significantly decreased(p<.05). 4. When comparing the result before putting on arm sling in the gait of hemiplegic patient, oxygen consumption rate per weight after putting on arm sling was statistically significantly decreased(p<.05). When putting together the above result, the gait with arm sling in comparison with the gait without arm sling was to increase gait velocity, decrease heart rate, decrease oxygen consumption and was finally to decrease energy consumption in the gait of hemiplegic patient.

        발목 염좌 및 만성 발목 불안정성 환자들에 대한 4주간의 고유수용감각 운동 프로그램의 효과

        Background : Ankle inversion sprains are one of the most common injuries in sports and activities of daily living that mostly concern physically active individuals. In most researches, proprioceptive deficit, muscle weakness and/or absent coordination have been regarded as a contributing factors. Despite the high incidence of ankle sprain and instability, therapeutic approaches to properly manage the symptoms have rarely been investigated. This study aimed to identify the effect of proprioceptive exercise program that is easy to integrate in normal training program. Methods : Subjects were randomly allocated to control group and experimental group consisting of 11 and 10 patients, respectively. The conservative treatment for the control group consisted of hot packs, ultrasound and TENS. In addition, the experimental group performed 7 exercises to enhance proprioceptive function of ankle joint. The therapeutic intervention of the controland experimental groups was performed a total of 20 exercise sessions, averaging 50 hour each, 5 times per week for 4 weeks. To compare the two groups, the level of ankle disability was assessed by using the ankle injury score scale in pre- and post-treatment. Results : On assessment of post-treatment, there were statistically significant differences in the scores of all sub-items, except for ankle laxity and range of motion, and the total score of ankle injury score scale between the two groups(p<0.05). In comparison between pre- and post-treatments, the significant difference in the scores of all sub-items and total score didn't appear for the control group, while the scores of most sub-items and total score of the experimental group were shown the statistically significant difference(p<0.05). Conclusion : The findings suggest that the proprioceptive exercise program is more effective for relieving ankle disability than conservative treatment therefore, the program to improve proprioceptive function should be recommended for prevention and rehabilitation of recurrent ankle inversion injuries.

        지역사회 보행훈련이 만성 뇌졸중 환자의 보행 및 우울증, 자기효능감에 미치는 영향

        PURPOSE: This study examine the effect of community ambulation training on gait, depression and self - efficacy of stroke patients in order to develop more effective training methods of community rehabilitation. METHODS: In the experimental group, community ambulation training combined with indoor and outdoor walking was performed for 30 minutes three times a week for six weeks. In the control group, general indoor walking training was performed. The physical factors were assessed by a 10-meter walking test, six-minute walking test and community gait test. Psychological factors were assessed by the Korean version of the Epidemiology Center Depression Scale and Activity-Specific Balance Confidence Scale. RESULTS: In the 10-meter walking test, the normal walking speed was significantly improved after the intervention in both the experimental group and the control group (p<.05). However, the fast walking speed was significantly improved only in the experimental group (p <.05). ln the community gait test, the experimental group showed significant improvement (p<.05), but the control group did not. Depression and self-efficacy were significantly improved in the experimental group (p<.05) but not in the control group. CONCLUSION: Community ambulation training may improve the gait ability of stroke patients and reduce their depression and improve self-efficacy.

        펜싱선수의 외측복부벽 두께 및 비대칭에 대한 초음파 측정

        The purpose of this study is to compare the side-to-side thickness and asymmetry in the lateral abdominal (LAM) wall muscle group between fencing players and matched controls. Twenty fencing players (10 males and 10 females) and 20 matched controls participated in this study. The resting thicknesses of the transversus abdominis (TrA), internal oblique (IO), and external oblique (EO) of the LAM on both sides of the abdominal wall were measured in each group using 7.5 MHz linear array ultrasonography. Statistical analysis showed that the asymmetry of the fencers was 15% TrA, 13% IO, and 15% EO, whereas the control group showed 5% TrA, 5% IO, and 6% EO. The LAM was more asymmetric in the fencers than in the controls (p<0.05). The thickness of the right TrA was 0.37 cm in the controls, which was significantly greater than the 0.29 cm thickness in the fencers (p<0.05). The thicknesses of the left TrA and both IO and EO did not differ significantly between fencers and controls (p>0.05). The thickness of the TrA, IO, and EO of the side-to-side LAM wall was more asymmetric in the fencers than in the controls. This suggests that clinicians may find benefits in providing scientific baseline data on muscle asymmetry when treating and managing fencing athletes.
