읽기 능력 검사 개발 연구 (1): 읽기 능력 검사의 하위 영역 설정 연구

읽기 능력 검사 도구를 개발함에 있어서는 우선적으로 이를 거시적 안목에서 접근할 필요가 있다. 예컨대 사전 독서경험(선(先)독서 개념), 범교 과적 읽기 능력, 평생 독서의 개념이 고려될 필요가 있다. 따라서 기존의 독서, 독해, 해독 등의 용어가 간과한 측면 모두를 포괄하여 ``읽기``라는 용어로 접근함이 타당하다. 이는 앞 장에서 언급했던 ``읽기 문식성(reading literacy)``의 개념과 상당히 유사하다. 기존의 언어 능력이나 읽기 능력 평 The purpose of this study is to build a basic frame focused on cognitive process for assessment of reading literacy in Korean Education. 기획 주제 : 구성주의와 독서 ; 구성주의와 읽기 교수,학습의 방향

본 연구는 구성주의 이론과 관련한 읽기 교수·학습의 방향을 살펴보기 위해 행동주의, 인지적 구성주의, 사회적 구성주의 이론을 비교하여 논의한 후, 대학 신입생의 국어 학습 경험 기술을 통해 초중등학교에서의 국어 읽기 수업의 문제점을 살펴보았다. 그 결과 초중등학교에서의 읽기 수업은 대체로 교사위주의 획일적 수업으로 이루어져 학습자와 학습자 간은 물론 교사와 학습자간에도 적극적인 상호작용이 이루어지지 못하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 읽기가 독자와 텍스트의 상호 작용이라는 것을 감안할 때에, 구성주의는 이러한국어 수업을 개선할 수 있는 적극적인 기제로 작용할 수 있을 것이다. 본고는, 지식이 소통 참여자 간의 상호작용를 통해 만들어지는 유동적인 모습을 갖는다고 가정하고 있는, 사회적 구성주의를 통해 읽기의 본질에 부합하는 수업을 구현할 수 있다고 판단하였다. 이에 따라 학습자가 교실 수업에서 텍스트를 통해 의미를 구성할 수 있도록 방안으로 학습자 중심의 실제 활동을 통한 지식의 구성, 교사와 학생의 대화가 강조되는 수업, 그리고 교사 및 동료와의 상호작용을 통한 텍스트 의미장의 확대로 제안하였다. 아울러 거칠게나마 객관적 의미의 읽기 능력은 텍스트와 맥락의 복잡성에 반비례하고 독자의 능력에 비례한다는 점을 RA=f(―) T×C 라는 공식으로 제안하였다. 향후 이에 대한 정밀 검토와 구체적인 설명이 요구되며, 후속 연구를 기대한다. 구성주의가 모든 읽기 수업의 현상을 설명할 수는 없다. 그러나 본 연구에서 제안한 교수·학습 방법의 방향은 구성주의와 읽기 수업을 보다 유기적이고 실제적으로 연관 지을 수 있는 단초가 되리라 기대한다. We suggested some ideas in this article regarding teaching-learning methods of reading in the viewpoint of Constructivism especially Social Constructivism. For this we analysed several descriptions on Korean class experiences in primary and secondary schools, written by new students of a university during 2006-2007. The descriptions showed that students have more positive and strong impressions when the reading methods had been centered on students, i.e the reading classes larger transactions took place between students or between students and teacher, such as questions and answers, writing scripts for play after reading, etc. Unfortunately it seemed that most of the classes in primary and secondary schools didn`t have such a active transactions between students and teacher, or between a student and another student. Comparing behaviorism, Cognitive Constructivism and Social Constructivism, we could get an effective teaching-learning idea from Social Constructivism, which play an important role for improving reading classes. In conclusion, we suggested that reading is a thinking process enlarging and integrating Semantic field of text through social-cultural context, and the following formula which means a reading ability is proportioned to reader(i.e. reader`s schema, skill and strategy), and is inverse proportion to text and context complexities. 옥상녹화에서 혼합식재에 따른 블루페스큐와 지피초화류의 생육 반응

This study was carried out to suggest an appropriate plant combination by evaluating the growth of flowering ground-cover plants planted with Festuca glauca ‘Eljiah Blue’ on the roof-top environment. As for the plant materials, Allium senescens and Chrysanthemum coreanum which are shorter than Festuca glauca ‘Eljiah Blue’ and Sedum takesimense and Agastache rugosa which are taller than Festuca glauca ‘Eljiah Blue’ were selected. Festuca glauca ‘Eljiah Blue’ was planted on Conrol, and Festuca glauca ‘Eljiah Blue’ with Allium senescens (T1), Festuca glauca ‘Eljiah Blue’ with Sedum takesimense (T2), Festuca glauca ‘Eljiah Blue’ with Agastache rugosa (T3), and Festuca glauca ‘Eljiah Blue’ with Chrysanthemum coreanum (T4) were planted in each experimental plot. Plant height and covering rate were measured to evaluate the growth of Festuca glauca ‘Eljiah Blue’. Also, relative growth rate (RGR) of plant height, RGR of plant width, and mortality rate of the flowering ground-cover plants were estimated. Plant height and cover rate of Festuca glauca ‘Eljiah Blue’ was greatest in T3. RGR of plant height was greater in the order of Agastache rugosa, Allium senescens, Chrysanthemum coreanum, and Sedum takesimense. In particular, RGR of plant width was also greatest for Agastache rugosa . Mortality rates of Agastache rugosa and Allium senescens were lowest at 11%. Therefore, based on good growth of Festuca glauca ‘Eljiah Blue’ planted with Agastache rugosa, these results were suggested as a desirable combination of plant species for rooftop gardening.

최소주의 안에서의 결속이론(A)에 대한 고찰

The purpose of this study is to suggest how to explain anaphor binding in the minimalist framework. For this purpose, we investigate whether LF anaphor movement approach can remain in the form of Attract-F, by criticizing Kim Young-Seok(1996), Reinhart and Reuland(1993), Kim Kyung-Hee(2000). We conclude that LF movement for formal feature checking cannot apply to anaphor binding. Therefore, we propose to explain anaphor binding by adopting a language-specific binding domain without the notion of governor and introducing minimalists' assumption that an NP is a set of features. This proposal not only solves several problems of recent studies but also is compatible with the minimalist framework.

부사인허에 대한 비교연구

The purpose of this paper is to compare the effects of Specifier analysis and Semantic analysis. We conclude that Specifier analysis is more efficient than semantic analysis. Specifier analysis covers up adverb stacking, adverb coordination and edge effects. However, semantic analysis cannot capture the same cases. We propose to revise Specifier analysis for manner adverbs, which need incorporation as a new licensing condition. In addition, a manner adverb takes a role as a complement and can move out by extraposition. 부사를 다루는 두 가지 방식, 의미적 방식과 구조적 방식 중 어느 것이 더 우월한지를 알아보기 위하여 기존의 연구를 자세히 살펴보았다. 이 논문의 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 일반적으로 부사의 인허조건은 지정어-핵 일치라고 본다. 둘째, 부사의 다양성, 부사의 거울이미지, 동사선행 부사의 위치교대현상은 부사의 서열구조를 이용하여 설명한다. 셋째, 부사중첩(adverb stacking), 부사대등(adverb coordination), 가장자리 효과(edge effects)는 오로지 구조적 방법으로만 설명이 가능하다. 다시 말하면, 부사의 숫자가 아주 많을 때, 그것을 처리하는 방법은 전체를 한 덩어리로 보고 구조적으로 처리하는 방법이 유일하다. 넷째로, 양태부사는 보충어이며, 그 인허조건은 복합동사처럼 합병(incorporation)이다. 또한 양태부사의 외치(Extraposition)를 도입할 것을 제안한다.

Word order and Agreement

This paper purposes to present how to explain English expletives and several agreement effects in the constructions within the Minimalist framework. We have surveyed Frampton’s proposal, criticizing some problems. We have adopted that expletives should receive EPP feature, N feature, agreement feature checking to be adated to the Minimalist theory. Next, we have investigated the relation between word order and Spec-head agreement. We have objected to the recent proposals by ABS(1994), Johannessen( 1996) and Munn(1999). We claim that structure reanalysis must be postulated as a optional rule in order to cover all variations around first conjunct agreement and singular agreement in the VS word order Adopting reanalysis, we can handle some optional derivations without undermining Spec-head agreement in the Minimalist spirit. This proposal accounts for more than one possibilities in agreement. Some kinds of agreement phenomena might be optional or obligatory from language to language, but they are not a problem to our claim. It will be easily triggered by parameter setting.

이 논문의 연구목적은 왜 생성문법이 영어자료를 설명하고 통사적 현상을 분석하는 기 존의 작업 대신,새로운 관점에서 이론을 대폭 수정하였는지를 규명하는 것이다. 인간 언어는 선천적 유전자가 구조생성과 발달을 한 성과물이며,이는 오랜 진화를 통해 얻 어진 신체설계도면에 따른 것이다. 가장 본질적인 원리는 연산적 효율성이며 강력최소 주의이다. 가장 작은 에너지로 원하는 결과를 얻어야 한다는 것이다. 따라서 진화론적 관점에서 이론을 검증한다면 단어와 국면은 같은 원리이며,이제는 문장이 아니고 국면 을 단위로 작업을 해야 한다. 이동은 자연계에도 도처에서 발견되므로 비용이 없다고 본다. 인간의 몸이나 인간의 언어는 똑같은 생물학적 원리에 의하여 만들어진다. This paper purposes to make clear why generative grammar stops working on linguistic data and syntactic principle, turning to changing a new model in a biological perspective. Natural language results from genetic growth, a mature form of invisible physical plan. The basic principle is computational efficiency and strong minimality. Nature works by the economy principle. So, we can use minimal energy to do something. Therefore, a phase is a unit in making a human language, and a frozen phase is equal to a word. Movement is cost-free and found in both a human body and language.

Syntactic Structure of Resultatives

We purpose to make clear what position a resultative occupies at syntactic level. For this purpose, we have surveyed various properties of resultatives mentioned up to now. We have concluded that a resultative is an argument and not an adjunct. Assuming VP-shell structure, we propose to treat it the same with datives, particles, and so on. We support our proposal by explaining why re- like elements are not compatible with each other As a result, this proposal contribute to simplify the grammar by eliminating ACH.
