        수학 영재들의 반박 활동에 의한 창의성의 발현: Peirce의 기호학에 의한 특이점 학습사례의 연구

        Creativity education is one of the key themes of mathematically gifted education. However, there have been lack of researches on what learning experiences should be provided to foster creativity of mathematically gifted students, how to prepare and provide opportunities for mathematical creativity and analyze its effects. In this study, we have included rebuttal activities in the statistical argumentation and examined whether this played a positive role in the emergence of creativity. For this purpose, we analyzed mathematical creativity emerged by the rebuttal activity in terms of sign, interpretant and object. The results showed that rebuttal provides opportunities for emergence of creativity in the statistical argumentation of the gifted students. 수학 영재교육에 있어서 창의성 교육은 핵심적인 주제 중의 하나이다. 그러나 수학영재들의 창의성 신장을 위해 어떤 학습 경험을 제공해야 하는지, 수학적 창의성 발현의 기회를 어떻게 준비하여 제공하고 그 효과의 분석을 어떻게 해야 하는지에 대한 구체적인 논의는 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 수학 영재들의 통계적 논증활동에 반박 활동을 포함시키고, 이것이 창의성 발현에 긍정적인 역할을 하는지를 살펴보았다. 이를 위해, 반박 활동에 의한 수학적 창의성의 발현 양상을 기호, 해석체, 대상체의 세 측면에서 살펴보았다. 연구결과, 반박은 수학 영재들의 통계적 논증활동에서 창의성 발현의 기회를 제공하는 것으로 나타났다.

        통계적 논증활동에서 나타나는 반박의 유형 및 상호작용 패턴과 통계적 추론 수준의 관계 분석

        Informal statistical inference occurring in group interaction for statistical tasks is closely related to the process of informal argumentation. Among many activities in the group discussion, rebuttal is one of the significant elements of argumentation. This study conducted experiments regarding group discussion activities using tasks comparing two data sets and the analyzing of students discourse. We subsequently coded the conversations to identify discourse move, classified each statement according to types of the rebuttal, and measured the students' level of statistical inference. We therefore observed that the rebuttal against thesis mainly appeared in responsive interactions, and the rebuttal against ground appeared in elaborative interactions stimulating the statistical inference of the participants. We noted that the level of statistical inference even got lower in the discussion containing responsive interaction including only the rebuttal against thesis. On the other hand, in the discussion containing elaborative interaction accompanied by the rebuttal against ground, even errors in the arguments were identified and corrected improved as well as the improvement in the level of statistical inference. 상호작용 과정에서 나타나는 학생들의 비형식적 통계적 추론은 비형식적 논증과 밀접한 관련이 있다. 토론의 많은 활동 중에서 특히 반박은 논증의 중요한 요소가 되며 추론에 영향을 미친다. 본 연구에서는 자료집합 비교 과제를 이용하여 통계적 논증활동을 수행하고 논증 과정에서 나타나는 학생들의 담화를 반박을 중심으로 분석하였다. 먼저 담화를 담화이동에 따라 코드화하고 반박의 유형에 따라 나타나는 상호작용 패턴을 조사하였다. 이를 바탕으로 참여자들의 통계적 추론에 변화가 나타나는지 확인하기 위해 담화에서 나타나는 통계적 추론의 수준을 측정하였다. 그 결과, 논지에 대한 반박은 주로 반응적 상호작용으로 나타나고, 근거에 대한 반박은 주로 정교한 상호작용으로 나타나며 참여자들의 통계적 추론을 자극하였다. 또한 반응적 상호작용이 나타나는 토론 과정에서는 토론 이전의 추론보다 오히려 수준이 낮아졌으며 정교한 상호작용이 나타나는 토론 과정에서는 참여자들의 오류가 개선되는 것을 관찰할 수 있었다. 이를 통해 반박의 유형에 따라 참여자들의 상호작용 패턴이 다르게 나타나며 통계적 추론의 수준이 변화하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

        Polyethylene-biodegrading Microbes and Their Future Directions

        Management of plastic waste is becoming a serious global environmental issue. Plastic pollution threatens a wide variety of ecosystems and brings damaging repercussions for many wildlife species. Polyethylene (PE) is a major petroleum-based plastic that has become indispensable in all aspects of modern life because of its many applications. PE is extremely resistant to natural biodegradation processes, resulting in its accumulation in the environment. Therefore, microorganism-mediated decomposition of PE is attracting attention as an ideal, sustainable method to reduce PE accumulation. In this review, we summarize capacities of various microbes (bacteria and fungi) to degrade PE, the physical products of PE degradation, and potential PE-degrading enzymes. Furthermore, we propose future directions for building PE-decomposition systems such as metabolons that use diverse enzymes to increase the activities and/or stabilities of potential PE degradable enzymes. Thus, this review article will contribute to developing PE-biodegradation systems using microbes and their biocatalysts.

        표집 시뮬레이션을 활용한 비형식적 통계적 추리의 교수­학습: 문화­역사적 활동이론의 관점에 따른 분석

        This study examines the activity system of teaching and learning about informal statistical inference using sampling simulation, based on cultural-historical activity theory. The research explores what contradictions arise in the activity system and how the system changes as a result of these contradictions. The participants were 20 elementary school students in the 5th to 6th grades who received classes on informal statistical inference using sampling simulations. Thematic analysis was used to analyze the data. The findings show that a contradiction emerged between the rule and the object, as well as between the mediating artifact and the object. It was confirmed that visualization of empirical sampling distribution was introduced as a new artifact while resolving these contradictions. In addition, contradictions arose between the subject and the rule and between the rule and the mediating artifact. It was confirmed that an algorithm to calculate the mean of the sample means was introduced as a new rule while resolving these contradictions.

        조선초기 承文院의 관제 변화와 운영

        This study focused on examining the actual operation of the provisions of SeungMunWon(承文院) written in KyeonggukDaejeon(經國大典). SeungMunWon(承文院) is a government office in charge of documents of Sadae(事大) and Kyorin(交隣). The importance of the SeungMunWon(承文院) has been highlighted since the early Joseon(朝鮮) Dynasty, when the relationship between Myeong(明) was unstable. The government system of SeungMunWon(承文院) completed in the KyeonggukDaejeon(經國大典) system was prepared by reflecting this importance. An official who passed the Munkwa- Examination(文科) was able to be appointed to the SeungMunWon(承文院) because passing the Munkwa-Examination means a prerequisite for selecting a person to prepare diplomatic documents. The use of the Jejo-system(提調制) and a wide range of the additional office system without fixed number was a policy to continuously take officials who were good at writing diplomatic documents in SeungMunWon(承文院). They(Jejo) were widely involved in Sadae(事大) and Kyorin(交隣), from preparing documents to discussing diplomatic issues. And the subordinate officer under Jejo(提調) performed other practical tasks accompanying document preparation. The actualization of the composition and regulation of the provisions of SeungMunWon(承文院) in KyeonggukDaejeon(經國大典) reflected the importance of SeungMunWon(承文院) in Joseon(朝鮮)'s diplomacy to Ming. 승문원은 사대와 교린의 문서를 담당하는 관서로, 대명관계가 불안정한 조선초기부터 그 중요성이 부각되었다.『경국대전』체제로 완성된 승문원의 관제는 이러한 중요성을 반영하여 마련되었다. 문과에 급제한 관원을 승문원 관직에 임명한다는 조항은 사대문서의 작성에 필요한 역량이 기본적으로 검증된 인물을 선발하기 위한 전제조건에 다름 아니었다. 정원을 두지 않고 운영한 제조제와 광범위한 겸직제의 활용은 외교 문서 작성에 능숙한 관원을 지속적으로 승문원에 유치하기 위한 정책이었다. 승문원의 제조는 문서의 작성에서부터 외교적 현안 논의에 이르기까지 사대와 교린에 폭넓게 관여하였고, 제조 예하의 당하관은 문서 작성에 수반되는 여타의 실무를 이행하였다.『경국대전』승문원 조항의 구성 및 규정의 실제화는 조선의 대명외교에서 갖는 승문원의 중요성을 반영하고 있었다.

        『노상추일기』를 통해 본 조선후기 외관 포폄의 실상

        This study attempts to examine how local officials’ actions, conducts and performances were evaluated during the latter half period of Joseon, based on relevant records we can find from the No Sang-chu Diary. This diary happens to have recorded evaluation grades that had been rated for and given to several local officials for an extended period of time, and thus should be considered as an ideal material for studying the practice of evaluating local officials in the 18th and 19th centuries. Analyzed here are the characteristics of evaluation-related records inside the diary, which include Middle or Low-level grades received by the local prefects, and a high concentration of records received by the Seonsan-bu(善山府) local prefects(Seonsan-busa, 善山府使). The former, when cross-checked with relevant legal codes of the time, shows us the technical nature of the evaluation process, while the latter lets us know the related nature of the evaluation practice and reassignments(reappointments) as well as No Sang-chu’s view of the entire situation. Officials who received middle or low grades through the evaluation were subjected to outcomes which turned out to be different between Dangsang-gwan(堂上官) and Dang’ha-gwan(堂下官) entities. They were all fired from their local prefect positions, but officials of the former group were able to return to other posts relatively faster than the officials of the latter, who sometimes were exceptionally allowed to be reassigned to other posts within two years, but in most cases had to wait for a designated period of time as determined by the law. The prefects of the Seonsan-bu region who received middle or lower grades also were appointed to other posts only after 24 months since dismissal from Seonsan-bu. On the other hand, a Seonsan-bu prefect who received the highest grade in every evaluation during his term for total of 10 times were assigned to a post in the Central government after his term at Seonsan-bu expired, according to the “Naecheon(內遷, reassignment to the capital)” rule, which shows us how such cases were rewarded.

        은유분석을 통해 본 2019 개정 누리과정에서의 교수매체에 대한 예비유아교사의 인식 연구

        This study conducted a metaphor analysis to investigate how prospective early childhood teachers perceive the instructional materials in the 2019 Revised Nuri Curriculum. To this end, this study collected data from 137 prospective early childhood teachers in the Department of Early Childhood Education at three and four-year universities in C-si, D-si, and K-si from Nov 4 to Dec 2, 2022, and 120 of their questionnaires served as the final research data. The analysis yielded categories of “media that guide experience and learning,” “media that create play and response,” and “media of imagination and expression.” “Media that guide experience and learning” were categorized as “media that guide experience and growth” and “media that guide children to learning,” “media that create play and response” as “media that inspire interest and inspiration” and “media that create a variety of games,” and “media of imagination and expression” as “media that reveal imagination and creativity” and “media as a tool of expression.” Based on these results, various perceptions of instructional media of prospective early childhood teachers were investigated, which can serve as basic data for strengthening the direction and expertise of teaching media in training courses for prospective early childhood teachers.
