본 연구의 목적은 공공도서관의 여러 주변 환경과 실제 운영사례를 살펴보고 특히 위탁형태의 도서관에서 갖춰야 할 도서관의 올바른 모습을 나름대로 제시하여 공공도서관 운영의 일례를 삼고자 한다. 주요 대상은 행정적 엽무와 레퍼런스 서비스, 장서개발, 문화컨텐츠, 정보소외 대외협력 자원활동, 전산 및 전자자원 관리 등이다. 바람직한 운영행태는 주로 이용자지향의 서비스와 일상적업무의 개선, 아울러 차별화된 서비스등이 있다. The purpose of this study is to search the actual practices and circumstances of public libraries and to suggest a desirable model of public library which is contracted out. The main objects are administrative job, reference service, book development. cultural contents, an alienation of information, cooperation with outside, volunteering, management of computers and electronic resources, etc. A model acts are user oriented services and improvement of routine works, otherwise service differentiations.

대학 도서관의 SDI 서비스 활성화를 위한 프로파일러(profiler) 체계 적용 연구

국내 대학 도서관의 정보 서비스를 개선시키기 위해서 해당 학문을 전공한 주제전문사서제도가 정착되는 것이 최선이겠지만 현행 사서 교육 제도, 인적 및 물적 자원의 부족 등으로 이를 실현하기가 어려운 것이 현실이다. 본 연구는 이에 대한 대안으로 주제전문사서의 핵심 역할 중 하나로 평가되는 대학 도서관의 SDI 서비스에 프로파일러 개념을 적용한 SDI 프로파일러 체계를 제안하고, 이를 도서관에 적용하는 절차와 방법에 대해서 기술하였다. 제안된 SDI 프로파일러 체계는 사서 역할을 단순 대응 방식이 아닌 이용자에게 직접 다가가는 적극적인 접근 방식으로 전환시키고, 사서들이 해당 조직의 핵심 구성원의 정보 활용 패턴을 분석한 후 맞춤형 정보서비스를 제공할 수 있어서 참고 서비스를 개선시키는 효과가 있을 것으로 기대된다. Offering subject-oriented services by subject experts is an effective method of enhancing the quality of digital reference services in university libraries. However, it is not easy to implement due to the Korean librarian education system and a shortage of human resources. Thus, as an alternative, we proposed an SDI (selective dissemination of information) profiler system using the concept of a profiler which is used in crime psychology as a specialist who studies a person's behavior for clues to psychology to aid in capturing them, under the assumption that conducting SDI services is one of the subject experts' key roles. And we also mentioned the procedures and methods of how to apply it to the reference services of university libraries. The proposed SDI profiler system can change the roles of university librarians from passive to active. Furthermore, it also allows librarians to provide their clients with customized SDI services, thus improving reference services.

도서관전문가의 관련 위원회 참여와 도서관 정책제언 활동을 통한 도서관 발전 방안 연구

21세기 다원화된 사회에서 도서관의 발전을 위해서는 도서관인 스스로가 많은 노력을 기울여야 할 것이다. 본 연구는 도서관 발전을 위해 많은 도서관인들이 함께 참여 할 수 있는 영역으로 도서관 관련 위원회 활동을 제안한다. 도서관전문가들이 도서관 관련 위원회에 위원으로 활동하면서 다른 위원들을 대상으로 도서관과 사서배치의 중요성과 필요성을 이해시키고 도서관 정책제언을 한다면, 이러한 활동이 개별 도서관과 더 나아가 국가 전체의 도서관 발전으로 이어질 것이다. 본 연구는 도서관전문가들의 공공 및 대학도서관 운영위원회 그리고 학교도서관 운영에 영향을 미치는 학교운영위원회 활동을 통한 도서관 발전 방안에 대해서 살펴보았다. Library professionals should do their best themselves to develop libraries in the diversified society of 21st century. This study suggests library professionals' participation on library related committees and advocacy to develop libraries. If library professionals participating on library related committees bring understanding of other committee members to the importance of the role of libraries and librarians, this effort results the development of an individual library and the all libraries in Korea. This study examines how to develop libraries by the library professionals' participation on the committees of public and academic libraries and school committees and advocacy.

과학기술분야에서 인터넷을 어떻게 활용할 수 있을지, 자신의 분야에 최적으로 이용하면서 맹신의 과오를 범하지 않는 것이 정보화시대의 무기가 될 수 있다. 인터넷의 활용방안과 주요 검색엔진의 과학기술정보를 소개한다. 국내에 전문 과학기술정보원도 운용되고 있으며, 해외의 정보원도 많이 알고 있을수록 유용할 것이다. 그외 천리안이나 원문제공기관을 통한 정보입수는 어떻게 하면 되는지 살펴본다.

중국 교육정보화 현황 분석: APEC e-Learning 연수생들의 초기연구문제를 중심으로

The purpose of this study is to identify the general situation of educational information in China. To achieve this purpose, the initial research questions posed by Chinese trainees who have participated in the APEC e-Learning training through content analysis. To set the category of content analysis, 5 kinds of judging criteria of educational information development were derived and based on this, the infrastructure of education information, awareness of utilization of human resources and support policies three categories were set up. After setting up categories, regarding the initial research questions posed by Chinese trainees, taking words and phases as the unit of analysis, we measured the frequency and extracted the high frequency among them. By comparing these with the words and phases selected by researchers, the key words were derived , classified according to analytical category and interpreted. On the basis of these job, the present situation of Chinese educational information was analysed. The results of this study will be helpful in promoting a variety of businesses about educational information on China and will be a basic research to promote the special development model of Chinese educational information. 본 연구의 목적은 중국의 교육정보화 전반의 현황에 대한 중국 교육정보화 책무자들의 논의를 알아보는 것이다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 APEC e-Learning 연수에 참여한 중국 연수생들의 초기연구문제를 내용분석법을 통해 분석하였다. 내용분석의 범주를 설정하기 위해 5가지의 교육정보화 발달의 판단기준을 도출하였고이를 바탕으로 하여 교육정보화 인프라, 활용 인적자원의 인식, 지원 정책과 같은세 가지 범주를 설정하였다. 범주의 설정 후 중국 연수생들의 초기연구문제를 단어와 구를 분석단위로 하여 그 사용빈도를 측정하여 상위 빈도를 보이는 단어 및 구를 추출하였다. 이를 연구자들이 선정한 단어 및 구와 비교하여 주요 단어를 도출하여 분석범주에 따라 구분하고 이를 해석하여 중국의 교육정보화 현황에 대하여분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 우리나라가 중국에 다양한 교육정보화 사업을 추진하기 위한 기초자료가 될 것이며 나아가 중국교육정보화에 특화된 추진모형개발의기초가 될 것이다.

The ecosystem of the Library has been radically changing in the advent of ubiquitous information service technology. We are already aware of the digital library due to popularizing digital information resources and we are impressed with Library 2.0 and Social Semantic Digital Library of user-centered, service-oriented library. We summarize the ultimate goal of the evolution of library systems as knowledge services and propose a logical model of library system for the realization of knowledge services. This local model can be applied for a library framework to harmonize the diverse knowledge resources, active users with participation and collaboration, the innovation of library business and ubiquitous information service technologies to achieve the missions of library in knowledge-intensive society. 유비쿼터스 정보 서비스 기술의 보편화로 도서관 생태 환경에도 커다란 변화가 일어나고 있다. 디지털 도서관 등 정보 매체 중심의 변화뿐만 아니라, Library 2.0 또는 소셜 시맨틱 디지털 라이브러리 등 이용자 중심의 서비스 지향 관점으로의 변화를 실감하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 도서관 시스템의 진화에 초점을 두고, 지식 서비스 실현을 위한 제반 환경 요소를 분석하였으며, 지식 서비스 지향 도서관 시스템의 논리모델을 제시하였다. 본 연구의 논리 모델은 다양한 지식 정보자원, 참여와 협력의 능동적 이용자, 도서관 업무 혁신, 유비쿼터스 정보 기술을 조화하여 도서관의 근본적 임무를 수행하는데 프레임워크가 될 수 있을 것이다.
