This survey was performed to obtain the basic information for the prevention and management of occupational low back injury (LBI). The subjects of this survey were 952 workers (male, 892 ; female, 60) who had taken occupational LBI in some industries of Pusan area from January 1 to December 31, 1991. Observation period was 2.6 years from the beginning to the end of medical treatment. The obtained results were summarized as follows ; 1. The proportion of LBI workers was 15.9% of the workers who had taken any occpational injuries and 0.32% of all workers in this surveyed area. 2. 8.0% of the workers had taken LBI on the 1st day of employment and 55.2% of the workers were within one year, 91.4% of the workers were within 10 years according to cumulative frequency distribution. 3. Handling of heavy objects was the most common cause of LBI (32.0%) and fall down (26.9%) and slip down (16.3%) were the next in order. 4. The most common causes of both lumbar sprain and HNP were handling of heavy objects and that of lumbar fracture was fall down. 5. The mean duration for medical treatment of LBI workers was 143 days. 6. The total direct compensation cost for LBI workers was 6,736 million Won and the proportion of medical, resting, disability compensation costs were 25.0%, 37.0%, 38.0 % respectively. 7. The percentages of retreated workers and disabled workers were 11.9% (113 persons) and 22.9% (218 persons) of total LBI workers respectively.

Plastic hinges are generally developed at both ends of reinforced concrete (RC) beams in the post-yield region. To complete the plastic deformation mechanism, column plastic hinges at the base of the structure are also required. The longitudinal axial strain in the plastic hinge regions of RC columns has a significant influence on the behavior of RC structures subjected to reversed cyclic loading. This strain affects energy dissipation in the hysteretic response by causing the sliding along interconnecting wide flexural cracks. In addition, the strain also influences on the deformability of RC structures. In order to investigate the effects of the axial force on the axial strain in the plastic hinge region of RC members, experimental and analytical study was performed with ten RC members subjected to reversed cyclic loading. The experimental and analytical results indicated that the axial force significantly decreased the axial strain in the plastic hinge region of RC members.

본 고에서는 현재 X.509 인증서를 검증하기 위하여 온라인으로 인증서 상태정보를 제공하는 OCSP가 클라이언트 · 프로토콜 · 서버 주체별로 IETF 공개키기반구조 워킹그룹에서 정의한 총 23개의 DPD/DPV 프로토콜 요구기존에 적절히 부합하는지 고찰하고 도출된 기술적 보완사항을 적용하여 다양한 응용환경에 적합하며 신뢰성 있는 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 개선된 OCSP를 제시하고자 한다.

Trichloroethylene (TCE) is a chlorinated hydrocarbon that is widely used as a degreasing agent in industry. Systemic absorption of this chemical can result in neurological, hepatic and cutaneous toxicity. Several cutaneous manifestations of TCE-exposed patients have been reported, including Stevens Johnson syndrome, subcorneal pustular eruption and generalized pustular eruption. We report here on an unusual case of TCE hypersensitivity syndrome in a 38 year old man after occupational exposure to TCE. (Korean J Dermatol 2008; 46(11): 1561∼1563)

N/A Background: Although being associated with an elevated plasma atrial natriuretic peptide(ANP), its precise role in the postobstructive diuresis has not been fully under- stood. Evidence has been provided suggesting that the locally-synthesized ANP in the kidney contributes to the regulation of urinary sodium excretion. The present study was aimed to investigate whether an altered regulation of local ANP system is involved in the postobstructive diuresis. Methods: Male Sprague-Dawley rats were used. Both proximal ureters were ligated for 48 hours, after which the kidneys were taken without releasing the ligature, being designated as bilateral ureteral obstruction(BUO) group; or the ligature was released and 4 or 24 hr later, urinary data were collected, being designated as BUR-4 or BUR-24, respectively. Sham operated rats were used as control. Plasma ANP levels were determined by radioimmunoassay. The expression of ANP and natriuretic peptide receptor(NPR)-A mRNAs was determined by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR). To further examine whether the altered renal ANP system, if any, was associated with an altered biological effects of guanylyl cyclase, ANP- stimulated cGMP accumulation was determined in membrane preparations of the glomeruli and papillae by radioimmunoassay. Results: The plasma ANP level was increased in BUO group compared with that in the control(260.5±32.5 vs. 133.3±23.5pg/mL, p<0.05), decreased in BUR-4 group(3.6±0.5 vs. 143.5±42.8pg/mL, p<0.01), while not significantly different in BUR-24 group. In BUR- 4. the urinary flow rate increased compared with that in the control(1598±370 vs. 215<34 DμL/hr, p<0.01), along with increases of FENa(11.5±64.1 vs. 0.25±0.02%, p<0.05) and UNaV (153.7±23.7 vs. 36.5±9.3 μEq/hr, p<0.01). In BUR-24, the urinary parameters were normalized. Renal tissue expression of ANP mRNA was increased in BUO as well as in BUR-4, while not changed in BUR-24. NPR-A mRNA expression was decreased in the kidney of BUO. The ANP-stimulated accumulation of cGMP in the isolated glomeruli and papillae in BUO was significantly reduced. The guanylyl cyclase activities were partly recovered in BUR-4 and completely in BUR-24. Conclusion : An enhanced local activity of ANP in the kidney may be causally related to the postobstructive diuresis.
RMVD를 이용하는 동기식 스트림 암호 데이터 통신시 난수동기 이탈 검출 알고리듬

초기 동기 방식을 이용하는 동기식 스트림 암호 통신시 송수신 측에서 신속한 난수 동기 이탈 검출 및 난수 재동기는 통신 품질의 결정에 중요한 역할을 한다. 일반적으로 동기식 스트림 암호 통신 시스템은 난수 동기 이탈 검출을 위하여 송신측에서 난수 동기 이탈 여부를 판별할 수 있도록 부가 정보를 송신하게 된다. 그러나 채널 오류 보정을 위하여 RMVD(Running Majority Voting Detector)를 이용하여 송신하는 시스템의 경우 난수 동기 이탈 여부를 판별하기 위한 부가정보를 추가할 수 없다. 본 본문에서는 추가정보를 송신할 수 없는 RMVD를 이용하는 시스템의 수신 측에서 난수 동기 이탈을 검출할 수 있는 방안을 제안한다. 난수 동기의 이탈을 검출하기 위하여 수신된 암호화 데이터를 복호화한 후 복호된 데이터의 단위 시간 당 각 비트들의 천이 형태를 확률적으로 분석하고, 이 천이 확률을 이용하여 난수 동기 이탈 여부를 결정한다. 제안한 방법은 신속하고 높은 정확도를 가지며, 채널 잡음에 강하고, 하드웨어로 간단하게 구현이 가능하다. It is very import role to increase communication quality that fast detection of random sequence synchronization fail in synchronous stream cipher system using initial synchronization mode. Generally, it sends additional information to detect random sequence synchronization fail. But we can't transmit additional informations to decide synchronization fail in a system using RMVD to correct channel error. In this paper we propose a method to detect synchronization fail in the receiver even though a system using RMVD has no margin to send additional information. For detecting random sequence synchronization fail we decipher received data, analyze probability of transition rate for pre-determined period and decide synchronization fail using calculated transition rate probability. This proposed method is fast, very reliable and robust in noisy channel and is easily implemented with hardware.

Recently, with the increase of the 4th industrial revolution and electric vehicle infrastructure, the supply of power conversion devices has increased, and accordingly, the amount of reactive power and harmonics flowing into the grid has increased. If the parameter of the passive filter part of the hybrid active power filter for decreasing the THD is not properly designed to match the system, efficiency degradation due to control error and overcompensation of reactive power may occur, leading power factor. In order to properly design the capacity of the passive filter of the hybrid active power filter, this paper proposes a capacity selection method that considers harmonics and reactive power at the same time. The performance when considering the passive filter as the proposed method was compared through simulation. As a result, THD was minimized and the target power factor could be reached.
