Piglets' diarrhea is one of the major causes of economic loss in Korean swine industry. To prevent this serious and persistant problem, we have developed systemic farm evaluation and analysis program. The program consists of the checklist and the computerized program. The items of the checklist are selected on the basis of various causative factors related with the piglets' diarrhea including sanitational status, nutritional management, or farm environment. The checklist is composed of 30 items including 6 factors on facility, 8 factors on environment, 6 factors on nutrition and 10 factors on sanitation, respectively. Minimum 1 to maximum 10 points was assigned to each item depending on level or status of farm. The scores calculated by sum of points obtained from each item could find out the problems which the farm was confronted with. To investigate the applicability of a program 150 swine farms raising over 500 heads were selected from 7 provinces throughout the country and surveyed. There were significant correlations between the piglets' diarrhea and the scores of the checklist. Based on above results we revised the checklist which consisted of 22 items including 5 factors on facility, 7 factors on environment, 3 factors on nutrition and 7 factors on sanitation. After that we composed a computerized diagram out of each point of an item which showed and indicated weak factors to be improved promptly. Our present study suggested that this newly established swine farm evaluation program would be a very efficient way to find out the problems and support the systemic control program of the piglets' diarrhea for swine farms.

The purpose of this study is related of Current-affair Novels m Meiji era and Korean modern history of beginning of the 20th century. In the someway, we cannot easily understand Meiji Current-affair Novels without the history of Japanese Emperor Meiji era. Take the case of “Imo-gullan” and “Kapsin-jongbyon” in Korea clearly revealed the real nature of the politics, economics, and society of not only Korea but also of Japan and China. The third chapter centers on Hansungjijanmong written by Inoue-gakugorou(l860~1938). It is a work of Inoue`s individual experience in Korea. And then, chapter four is analysis of Chang-Bin which is a document of Kindom`s story in Korea. “Chang-Bin” is compare a court lady who is called chang with Min-clan. Besides to make matters worse, In this novel, Inoue makes an improper image of Min-clan. Why did he described Min-clan of the worst queen in Korea? Because, During the period of 1880`s Min-clan depending on the help of the Ch`ing and Russia. Therefore, in order to make clear historical truth, namely, an assassination of Min-clan, Chang-Bin is a sufficient evidence. And also Inoue`s individual view is related to Japan Government policy in Meiji.

The reductive metabolism of an antibacterial nitrofuran, furazolidone[N-(5-nitro-2-furfurylidene)-3-amino-2-oxazolidone] was investigated. E. coli rapidly metabolized furazolidone to the reduced cyano metabolite under aerobic condition. The major solvent-extractable metabolite produced under the aerobic incubation was isolated and analyzed by mass spectrometry. The mass spectra indicated that this metabolite was unequivocally identified as 3-(4-cyano-2-oxobutylideneamino)-2-oxazolidone, an end product of the reductive metabolism of the nitro group of furazolidone. When furazolidone was administered orally to rats and piglets, 3-(4-cyano-2-oxobutylideneamino)-2-oxazolidone was isolated and purified from the muscle, kidney and liver tissues according to the withdrawal time. These purified extracts were analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).

The apartment will be much more convenient than the other one in the application of green technologies, providing the merits by mass production. For example, pre-manufactured building materials can be effectively adapted to the formation of buildings. Recently, the form of double-enveloped window system has been developed for the purposed of minimizing energy loss occurred around windows, On the other hand, the expansion of balcony area was legalized and thus, a visual buffer area does not exist any more. All-glass window wall on apartment houses without a balcony produces pretty harmful area with direct sunbeam. A various types of glass can be applied to the window system and it plays a critical role in the determination of inner visual environment, For the purpose of verifying the potential of its daylighting. a mock-up model has been constructed and tested. The refurbished version of conventional window shows its illuminated characteristics. Clear and Low-e glass have been adapted for window area and day lighting ratio has been compared in both test cells.
GC/MS를 이용한 돼지고기중의 올라퀸독스 잔류분석에 관한 연구

The olaquindox is used as one of the growth-promoting feed additives in pig industry. To date its maximum residue limit in pork tissues is not established. The olaquindox exists in the body both as an intact form and metabolized form such as olaquindox-4-monoxide and desoxyolaquindox. For food safety and to establish the guideline for the safe use of the olaquindox, it was demanded to develop the new analysis methods to detect the olaquindox and its metabolits in tissues. In this study, olaquindox and its metabolites were extracted with acetonitrile from muscle, liver and kidney from olaquindox-fed pigs. The extracts were then reduced to desoxyolaquindox by using ferrous sulfate. Desoxyolaquindox was treated with bis (trimethylsilyl) trifluoroacetamide (BSTFA) to obtain the derivative for GC/MS analysis. The retention time of the derivative analyzed by GC/MS was about 13.9 minutes and monitored ion masses were 303, 200 and 143. The relative ion intensity ratio was 31 : 41 : 100. The recovery rate of the olaquindox from spiked pork tissues was ranged from 82.7 to 121.1%. The study revealed that this new analysis method was more accurate compared to the conventional method. It is suggested that thisnew analysis method may replace the conventional one.
