To achieve the aim of the research, surveys from 346 workers of minor companies in Busan and Gyeongsang region were performed and the following results were gained from the 299 valid surveys. First, Regulation on personal recess has not formulated any meaningful connection with time length of personal recess, and personal recession time formulates no meaningful connection with job performance. Second, Regulation on personal recess during working hours had meaningful and positive linkage to the organizational commitment and organizational commitment has meaningful and positive linkage to the job performance. Then, regulation on personal recess reduces job performance by cutting down organizational commitment of workers and improving job performance by reducing personal recess seems to be unachievable.

Method: The data were collected with a questionnaire for this study from 14 April 2009 to 1 May 2009. Data were analyzed mainly via non-parametric statistics and logistic regressions utilising SPSS 17.0 (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) to determine the workers' attitude about the hospital system and to predict factors contributing to positive attitudes. Results: A total of 1,260 workers working for large factories in Gwangju Metropolitan City. Findings confirmed that more than 40% of the workers show interest in the system and about 44% of the workers also express positive attitudes. Factors found to influence the workers' response included marital status, income level, health status, experience in complementary medicine services, the number of health care facilities' visit. Conclusions: The prospects to establish the system of collaborative hospital practice as reflected by the workers' view about the Korean health care service delivery system. The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference in body fat mass and skeletal muscle mass during walking and running after resistance training based on healthy college student. One male college student (age = 25 years, Height = 175.0 cm, Weight = 86.9 kg, Body fat = 27%) volunteered to participate in the study. Body composition was assessed by bioelectrical impedance (Inbody 270, Korea). Walking exercise (4.8 km/hr, 60 min) was performed for 3 weeks, followed by running exercise (7.0 km/hr, 26 min) for 3 weeks. The experimental results are as follows. Running was more effective at dropping body weight and BMI than walking, however walking was more effective at reducing body fat (%) and increasing skeletal muscle mass (kg) than running in male college student. In conclusion, both walking and running provide benefits for body composition, and the best exercise for weight and body fat loss is the one that it actually do on a regular basis.

Background : Traditional Korean medicine(TKM) has gained in popularity among chronic patients in recent years. The use of TKM among patients with chronic diseases is common, with about two thirds of patients using some form of TKM in Korea. Objectives : The purpose of this study is to analyze the use of TKM and determine what factors affect to use TKM among patients with chronic diseases. The study also aims to provide information on TKM therapies and assist therapy selection among various TKM therapies for patients with chronic diseases. Methods : The design of the study was descriptive cross-sectional, and data were collected using a 21-item questionnaire. This study was conducted with subjects with confirmed diagnosis of chronic diseases, who live in Jeju Province, Korea. Results : Among the participants, past or current TKM use was 66.7%, with a statistically significant difference in gender and level of health status groups(p<0.05), but no difference in age, marital status, education, occupation, and income groups. The most common therapies of TKM used by the patients included acupuncture(51.1%), physiotherapy(16.8%), cupping(13.5%), and herbal medicine(4.8%). The main benefits from TKM perceived by the patients were chronic diseases management and health promotion. In a logistic regression analysis, significant influencing factors related to TKM use were gender, family income level, the extent of recognition of efficacy, heath status, and health security program. Conclusions : In this study the socio-demographic and health status, recognition of TKM efficacy factors associated with TKM use among patients with chronic diseases were similar to those found in the general population. The findings suggest that due to the relatively high use of TKM among patients with chronic diseases in Korea, this topic should be taken into account in the development of a holistic approach for patients with chronic diseases and an efficient chronic disease management system. Additionally proactive and consistent management of TKM is necessary in the health care system in Korea.
