        공단량체의 조성과 함량이 폴리아크릴로니트릴계 탄소섬유 전구체의 중합 및 열적 거동에 미치는 영향

        탄소섬유 전구체로 폴리아크릴로나이트릴(PAN)계 중합체를 공단량체로 중성계 모노머인 methyl acrylate와 산성계 모노머인 itaconic acid 또는 acrylic acid를 사용하여 서로 다른 조성과 함량으로 용액중합을 통하여 높은 수율로 제조하였다. PAN 중합체의 화학구조, 고유점도 및 분자량은 핵자기 공명 분광기(<SUP>1</SUP>H NMR), 우벨로오드 점도계로 확인하였고, 퓨리에 변환 적외선 분광기(FTIR) 분석 및 고리화 반응지수를 통하여 열처리 온도에 따른 열산화 안정화 과정에서 일어나는 고리화 반응과 탈수소화 반응에 의한 PAN 중합체의 구조변화와 공단량체의 함량과 조성이 고리화 반응에 미치는 영향을 관찰하였고, 열산화 안정화 과정에서 PAN 중합체의 고리화 개시온도 및 개시효율과 탄소 잔존량은 시차 주사 열량계(DSC)와 열 중량 분석기(TGA)를 통해 확인하였다. Polyacrylonitrile (PAN) co- or terpolymers as carbon fiber precursor were successfully synthesized with high yield using methyl acrylate (MA), itaconic acid (IA) or acrylic acid (AA) as comonomers via conventional solution polymerization according to the different composition and weight ratio. The chemical structure, intrinsic viscosity, viscosity average molecular weight of PAN polymers were determined by proton nuclear magnetic resonance (<SUP>1</SUP>H NMR) and ubbelohde viscometer. The structure change of PAN polymers derived from cyclization and dehydrogenation reaction during thermal oxidative stabilization depending on the different thermal treatment temperature was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and the cyclization reaction index was used to check out the effect of comonomer composition and weight ratio on the cyclization reaction of PAN polymers. The initial cyclization temperature, efficiency of cyclization reaction, and char yield of PAN polymers were analyzed by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA).

        Effects of Peripheral Neuropathy on CTB-labeled Motor Neurons Following Ligation of the Tibial Nerve

        흰쥐 정강신경결찰로 말초신경병증 모델을 만들고, 신경추적자인 CTB를 정강신경에 묻힌 후 척수에서 나타나는 CTB표지 운동신경세포의 변화를 관찰하였다. 흰쥐의 정강신경을 묶은 후 1주, 2주, 4주간 묶은 실험군을 만들고, 각 기간이 끝난 후에 정강신경에 CTB를 묻혔으며, 척수에서 CTB에 표지된 신경세포체의 개수와 분포의 변화를 관찰하였다. 정강신경을 각각 1주, 2주, 4주간 묶은 실험군과 정상군 모두에서 CTB에 표지된 신경세포체는 주로 척수의 5번째 허리분절에서 관찰되었으며, 4번째 허리분절과 6번째 허리분절에 걸쳐서 관찰되었다. CTB에 표지된 정강신경의 운동신경세포체는 분포부위에 따라서 입쪽부위와 꼬리쪽부위로 나눌 수 있었는데, 입쪽부위는 4번째와 5번째 허리분절에서, 꼬리쪽부위는 5번째와 6번째 허리분절에 분포하였다. 실험군에서 CTB에 표지된 신경세포체의 수는 입쪽부위에서는 정상군과 유사하였지만, 꼬리쪽부위에서는 선택적으로 감소하였는데, 이로 인해 실험군에서 CTB에 표지된 전체 운동신경세포체의 수가 감소하였다. 정상군의 경우 CTB에 표지된 신경세포체의 전체 평균갯수는 2,160±169.3개였으며, 1주군의 경우 1,002±245.1개, 2주군의 경우 587.5±346.5개, 4주군의 경우 1,728±402.6였다. 1주군과 2주군은 정상군에 비해 평균 개수가 유의하게 감소하였는데, 이는 꼬리쪽부위의 선택적 감소로 인한 것이었다. 정강신경결찰에 의한 말초신경병증 모델에서는 CTB에 표지되는 신경세포체가 선택적으로 감소한다는 것을 알 수 있었고, 이러한 결과는 신경결찰에 의한 말초신경병증 모델을 사용하는 연구의 신경해부학적인 자료로 사용될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다. Changes in CTB labeled motor neurons of the spinal cord were observed after the induction of peripheral neuropathy by ligation of the tibial nerve. Rats were anesthetized and the tibial nerve was ligated with 3-0 silk. The rats were separated into three groups based on the length of time the tibial nerve was ligated (1, 2, or 4 weeks). After the ligation procedures were complete, the tibial nerve stumps were soaked in CTB solution. Tibial nerve segments and the spinal cord were then observed. In the control and experimental groups, CTB-labeled neurons formed a discrete population that was concentrated primarily at the L5 level, while the contributions from L4 and L6 were minor. According to the distributions, CTBlabeled neurons were divided into rostral and caudal groups. A selective decrease of CTB-labeled neurons was observed only in the caudal group, extending from the rostral L5 to one-half of the rostral L6. The total numbers of CTB-labeled motor neurons were 2,160±169.3, 1,002±245.1, 587.5±346.5, and 1,728±402.6 in the control group, 1 week group, 2 week group, and 4 week group, respectively. The selective decrease of CTB-labeled neurons in the caudal division was responsible for the decrease in the total number of labeled neurons in all groups. Following peripheral neuropathy caused by ligation of the tibial nerve, CTB-labeled neurons in the spinal cord decreased selectively. These results may provide important neuroanatomical data regarding the effects of peripheral neuropathy by ligation of the tibial nerve.

        사다리형 폴리실세스퀴옥세인과 POSS를 포함하는 하이브리드 폴리이미드 복합체의 합성 및 특성 분석

        1,3-bis(4-aminophenoxy)benzene(APB)과 3,3",4,4"-benzophenonetetracarboxylic dianhydride(BTDA)의 조성에 여덟개의 페닐기를 함유한 케이지 구조의 실세스퀴옥세인(octaphenyl-POSS, OPS)과 페닐과 에폭시 그룹이 각각 8대2 비율로 함유된 사다리형 폴리실세스퀴옥세인(LPS)을 혼합하여 내열성 및 절연성이 우수한 하이브리드 폴리이미드 복합체를 제조하였다. 제조된 하이브리드 폴리이미드 필름은 OPS의 중량을 2.5 wt%로 고정시키고, LPS의 중량비를 다양(1.5, 2.5, 3.5 wt%)하게 변화시켜 합성하였다. OPS는 물리적인 결합을 이용하여 poly(amic acid)(PAA) 용액에 균일하게 분산시켰으며, LPS의 경우에는 화학적인 결합을 이용하기 위하여 LPS의 에폭시 그룹과 PAA의 아민 그룹과의 에폭시-아민 반응을 이용하였다. 얻어진 하이브리드 폴리이미드 복합체의 내열 특성, 광학 성질, 유전상수와 모폴로지를 측정하기 위하여 퓨리에 변환 적외선 분광기(FTIR), 열 중량 분석기(TGA), 분광광도계(microspectrometer), 임피던스기(RF impedance) 그리고 전계방사형 주사전자현미경(FE-SEM)과 주사탐침현미경(AFM)을 사용하였다. 또한 제조된 하이브리드 폴리이미드 매트릭스 내에 Si 원소가 균일하게 분산돼 있는 것은 EDS mapping으로 확인하였다. In this study, we used the POSS cage with eight phenyl groups (octaphenyl-POSS, OPS) and ladder-like polysilsesquioxane (LPS) having phenyl and epoxy groups in 8:2 ratio in the composition of 1,3-bis(4-aminophenoxy)benzene (APB) and 3,3",4,4"-benzophenonetetracarboxylic dianhydride (BTDA) to synthesize hybrid polyimide composites with high thermal stability and excellent electrical insulating property. The hybrid polyimide composites had various LPS weight ratios (1.5, 2.5, 3.5 wt%) with the fixed 2.5 wt% of OPS. OPS was homogeneously dispersed in the solution of poly(amic acid) (PAA) via physical bonding interaction and the epoxy groups of LPS were chemically reacted with the residual terminal amines of PAA. The thermal and optical properties, dielectric constant, morphology of the hybrid polyimide composites were determined using infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), microspectrometer, RF Impedance, field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM), and atomic force microscope (AFM). Also, we confirmed that Si atom was uniformly dispersed in polyimide matrix by using EDS mapping.

        간호학생의 학업지속의향과 영향요인 연구

        The purpose of this study is to identify academic persistence intention and its influencing factors related to among Korean nursing students. Methods: Students in 4-year nursing colleges were recruited to participate in a self-reported survey (n=283). The questionnaire consists of academic integrity, social integrity, institute satisfaction, family support, and nursing professional identity. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, and point-biserial correlation. A logistic regression analysis was used to uncover associations among general characteristics, academic persistence related factors and academic persistence intention. Results: Eleven percent of participants showed plan for taking off or drop-out, labeled as possible attrition group. There were statistically significant differences of academic integrity, social integrity, institute satisfaction and family support. No statistical difference of nursing professional identity was found between attrition and persistence group. Academic attrition intention was lower in students registered in private school, age ≥21, and 4th grade. Academic persistence intention was higher in students with higher satisfaction in nursing as a major and higher academic integrity. Conclusion: The study revealed not only personal factors but also institute related factors were associated with nursing students`` academic persistence intention. Therefore, institute related factors need to be reflected in curriculum development and operation for securing nursing students and nursing workforce.

        총설 : Stilbene 발광 유도체를 가지는 Polyurethane을 기본으로 하는 고분자의 합성 및 특성

        본 연구에서는 펜던트 타입의 고분자인 폴리우레탄에 스틸벤 유도체를 가진 다양한 발색단을 곁가지로 도입하고, 이를 연결하는 방식으로 분자를 디자인하고 합성하였다. 모노머 분자인 N,N-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)amino-4`-cyanostilbene, N,N-bis(2-hydroxyethyl) amino-4`-methoxy stilbene, N,N-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)amino-4`-acetylstilbene, N,N-bis (2-hydroxyethyl) amino stilbene은 Wittig 반응을 이용하여 합성하였고, N,N-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)amino-4`-nitrostilbene는 Knoevenagel 축합 반응을 이용하여 합성하였다. 합성된 물질의 흡수 및 형광 스펙트럼의 측정으로부터, 치환기로 전자 끌게 작용기를 도입한 경우 그 정도에 따라 스펙트럼이 장파장으로 이동하며, 반대로 전자 주게 작용기가 도입된 경우는 단파장 이동 하는 것을 확인 하였다. 반면, NO2가 치환된 경우 그 자체가 빛을 소멸시키는 쾐쳐로 작용하여 PL이 관측되지 않았다. In this research, we have synthesized new pendant-type polyurethane polymers by introducing various chromophores with stilbene derivatives in the side-chain of the polymer backbone. The Stilbene monomers, N,N-bis(2-hydroxyethyl) amino-4`-cyanostilbene, N,N-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)amino-4`-methoxy stilbene, N,N-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)amino-4`-acetylstilbene, and N,N-bis(2-hydroxyethyl) amino stilbene, were synthesized by Wittig reaction. Another stilbene monomer, N,N-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)amino-4`-nitrostilbene, was synthesized by Knoevenagel condensation. By the measurement of UV-Vis absorption and Photoluminescence (PL) spectrum, we found that introduction of the electron-withdrawing group as a substituent shifts both UV-Vis and PL spectra to longer wavelength, and the introduction of the electron-donating group results in blue-shift of the spectrum. In case of polymer with NO2 group as a substituent, PL is quenched.

        표준화된 의사 소통 도구와 시뮬레이션 방식을 사용한 구급대원 의사 소통 교육과정의 효과

        Background : Since primary emergency treatment should be performed appropriately and promptly, efficient and accurate communication between paramedics and medical staff is paramount to a successful primary emergency treatment and patient handover. The problem of the training program in Korea is that it concentrates more on in-class lectures, often delivered by non-medical specialists, who may lack in practical experience and without proper communication training. To solve this problem, we have devised a simulation based training that focuses on event debriefings and two-way communication. Methods : 62 paramedics from 3 stations enrolled in the study. 4 different courses with different emergency situations were created and each course was taken twice resulting in a total of 8 classes. All courses were based on actual cases. The curriculum consisted of subject lectures with guidelines, skill practice courses, and simulation courses based on hands-on method. In simulation courses, paramedics use standardized check list to communicate with medical specialists. All curriculums except subject lectures include debriefing, which allows free talking with educators comprised of medical specialists. In order to measure the educational impact, all students performed self-assessment through a structured questionnaire before and after the training. Results : Regardless different situations and paramedics’ education level, their performance and communication skills have improved after simulation training course. Paramedics mentioned learning skills in simulation course through communication with medical staffs as the biggest advantage. Conclusion : Receiving the simulation training with standardized communication tools is effective at enhancing the communication between the paramedics and medical staff.

        셀레콕시브 및 그 합성유도체들의 항암활성 스크리닝

        Selective COX (cyclooxygenase)-2 inhibitors including celecoxib have been shown to induce apoptosis and cell cycle changes in various tumor cells. New inhibitors are recently being developed as chemomodulating agents. We evaluated celecoxib and screened 150 synthetic compounds for anti-proliferative activities in vitro. Effects of celecoxib on COX activity, cell growth, cell cycle distribution, and apoptosis induction were determined in A549 COX-2 overexpressing human non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells. The COX inhibition of celecoxib increased with concentration up to 82% at 1μM after 24 hr exposure. Forty μM and 50μM of celecoxib induce G_1 arrest, and TUNEL-positive apoptotic cells, respectively. Among 150 compounds, several compounds were selected for having greater COX-2 inhibitory activity and higher selectivity than celecoxib with growth inhibitory activity. Celecoxib showed concentration-dependent COX inhibitory activity, and ability to induce cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in human NSCLC cells in vitro. Among synthetic analogues screened, several compounds showed promising in vitro activity as COX-2 inhibitory anticancer agents, which warrant further evaluation in vitro and in vivo.
