연구기록의 웹 기반 정보서비스 평가 지표 개발 및 적용 - NTIS 사례를 중심으로 -

웹의 발전과 함께 연구기록의 보존 가치와 잠재적 활용 가치가 부각되기 시작하면서 웹을 활용한 연구기록의 정보서비스가 다양해지고 있다. 이에 따라 현재 제공되고 있는 연구기록의 웹 기반 정보서비스에 대한 평가를 통해 현재 상황을 점검해보고 향후 발전 방향에 대한 논의가 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 연구기록의 특성을 반영한 웹 기반 정보서비스 평가 지표를 개발하고 이를 적용해 봄으로써 그 타당성을 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 DigiQUAL과 NDSLQual을 분석하여 기록정보서비스 유형별 평가 요소를 도출하고 연구기록을 활용한 정보서비스의 특징이 반영된 평가 지표를 개발하였다. 개발한 평가 지표의 효용성을 검증하기 위해 NTIS를 사례로 들어 적용, 그 결과를 분석함으로써 NTIS에서 제공하는 연구기록의 정보서비스에 대한 문제점을 찾고 이를 위한 개선방안에 대해 제시하였다. With development of web, web-archival information services using research records are diversified because values of the records increase in terms of preservation, use and share. Thus, it is necessary to understand and discuss current situation and improvement in future of web-archival information service. This study develops evaluation measures for web-archival information service based on DigiQUAL and NDSLQual, reflecting characteristics of research records. To confirm the validity of the proposed measures, questionnaires were built based on the indicators and distributed to real users of NTIS, which is a case of web-archival information services using research records. Finally, this study analyzes problems of web-archival information services using research records and recommend improvement methods.

시대적 배경을 통해 본 마을 숲의 변천과 보존 : 성남리 성황림 지역을 대상으로

In recent days, the historical and cultural resources of agricultural villages have been destroyed and disappeared by reckless developments. The purpose of this research is to help administrations to establish the good policy about forests by investigating the changing process and preservation condition of the woods that embraces the continuous life of villagers. It is limited to the Seong-Whang-Lim in Wonju-city. People of the village hold this forests sacred and call it Sin-Lim. In the light of humanistic societies and physical environment, its history , conservation policy, regulation, the area and configuration of the ground, food life, facilities, and dwelling environment were perodically survryed and analyzed in connection to forest. In result the restriction and protection policy as institution caused the preservation of the forest. They hepled to maintain original forest, if the area of the forest has been decreased after the colonial period of Japan. And the closure treatment of the road in the forest resulted in the separation of space between the trees of level round and the trees of the slope and the policy of afforestation caused the destruction of a traditional plant-life, by being planted foreign trees. Finally the forest was reduced and damaged, it is necessary for us to take measures systematically because broad-leaved trees of the temperature zone provide us historical and cultural space.

NTIS 일반 이용자 그룹별 정보 요구 분석에 기반한 정보시각화 개선방안 연구

국가과학기술지식정보서비스(NTIS)는 국가 연구 개발 사업에 대한 정보를 한 곳에서 서비스하기 위해 한국과학기술정보연구원(KISTI)에서 개발한 세계 최초의 국가R&D정보 지식포털이다. 본 연구에서는 현재 NTIS에서 제공하고 있는 정보서비스의 한계점을 짚어보고 일반 이용자의 정보 요구를 분석, 이를 만족시킬 수 있는 정보의 재구성 및 시각화 개선방안을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위해 먼저 '일반 이용자'에 대한 정의를 명확히 하고 일반 이용자 집단을 세 그룹으로 세분화하여 각각의 예상되는 정보 요구 조건을 분석하였다. 또한 이용자 그룹별 정보 요구에 따른 '검색단계의 단순화'와 '원하는 정보의 시각화'라는 검색요구를 충족시키기 위한 정보시각화 결과를 예시를 통해 보였다. 나아가 기존 NTIS 정보 서비스를 활용하여 제안한 정보시각화의 구현 방안을 제시함으로써 실현 가능성을 타진하였다. NTIS(National Science & Technology Information Service) is the first national R&D information knowledge portal service in the world to provide information of government-funded R&D projects and it has been developed by KISTI. This study investigated several limitations of current NTIS information service, analyzed information needs for end users, and then proposed information recomposition and visualization method to satisfy their information needs. For doing this, we firstly clarified the definition of 'end-users' and classified three different groups of general users. We also discriminated various information needs according to three groups and illustrated some examples of visualization results to meet the requirements - 'retrieval simplification' and 'information visualization'. To consider practicality of our proposed method, we suggested implementation plans to utilize existed NTIS services.

연구기록의 보존 및 활용 가치가 부각되면서 그 중요성이 날로 커지고 있다. 이에 접근이 용이한 웹을 기반으로 연구기록을 서비스하는 기관 역시 양적으로 증가하고 있는 반면 그들이 제공하고 있는 연구기록정보서비스에 대한 만족도 및 품질에 대한 평가와 관련된 연구는 거의 없어 웹 기반 연구기록정보서비스의 현재 상황을 점검하고 향후 발전 방향을 논하기에는 어려움이 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 웹 기반 연구기록정보서비스에 대한 평가를 진행하고 그 결과를 통해 활성화 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해 연구기록정보서비스 대표 포털인 NTIS와 NKIS를 중심으로 연구를 진행하였으며, 각 기관별 웹 기반 연구기록정보서비스의 특징을 알아보고 공통된 평가 지표를 적용하여 평가를 진행하였다. 평가 결과를 통해 각 사례별 장 단점을 분석함으로써 웹 기반 연구기록정보서비스의 활성화 방안을 제언하였다. Research records have become more important because of the increased significance of the preservation and use of such records. Therefore, many research institutions provide web-based research records archival information services. However, no evaluation of these research records services has been conducted, so problems arise that make discussing the current state of such services and their future improvement difficult. Therefore, this study evaluates web-based archival information services for research records and proposes ways to vitalize them. This study analyzes the characteristics of NTIS and NKIS, which are types of web-based archival information services for research records, and evaluates them using the same evaluation measures. Finally, this study recommends ways to improve web-based archival information services for research records.

5.18 민주화 운동 기록물을 활용한 PBL모형의 교육 프로그램 개발- 고등학교를 중심으로 -

This study aims to propose an education program using the records and archives of the May 18th Democratic Uprising, which are large in number and have diverse provenance. The PBL model, which is a basic model for this program, is appropriate for suggesting a number of records and inducing the use of archives. This program is based on the rule of PBL but is divided into two parts: a pre-class level and an in-class level. The archives list for this program is selected from the archives map, which consists of a horizontal axis of provenance and a vertical axis of creation time. The expected effects of this program is to vitalize and expand the use of archives and to inspire a student’s historical thinking. This program is meaningful in proposing a proposed education program using the records and archives of a historical event and the probability to use in a real class. 출처가 다양하고 양적으로 방대한 5.18민주화운동기록물을 활용한 교육프로그램을 제안한다. 교육프로그램에 적용할 교육 모형은 PBL모형으로 다양한 기록물을 제시하고 기록관의 활용을 유도하기에 적합하다. 본 교육 프로그램은 PBL의 기본 형태를 따르되 단계를 다시 이분화하여 수업이전단계와 수업구현단계로 나누고 수업이전단계를 세분화하여 제안하였다. 제시될 기록물은 가로축과 세로축으로 구성되는 격자형 기록물지도를 사용하여 기록물 목록을 확보한 후 기록물을 선별하도록 한다. 본 교육 프로그램의 실현은 기록관 이용의 활성화와 기록물 활용의 확장, 학습자들의 역사의식 고취 등의 기대효과를 가질 것으로 예상되며 주제기록물에 대한 교육프로그램의 제안이라는 점과 학습현장에서 사용할 수 있다는 점에 의의가 있다.

일본군‘위안부’ 관련 기록물의 통합관리를 위한 메타데이터 스키마 개발에 관한 연구

Records and archives on military sexual slavery should be managed systematically due to its historical and educational values. Currently, the National Records Designation related to the military sexual slavery by Japan are managed in various related organizations including the National Archives of Korea. Some private institutions have diverse collections on the military sexual slavery by Japan. They have a collection of various types of records and archives. This study aims to build an integrated metadata schema for managing the records and archives on the military sexual slavery by Japan. To achieve this goal, this study examined the institutions and organizations related to the military sexual slavery by Japan, and analyzed the types and characteristics of their records and archives. Based on the results, a metadata schema was proposed for the records and archives of the “Military Sexual Slavery by Japan.” ‘군위안부’ 관련된 문제해결과 올바른 역사교육을 위해 ‘위안부’ 관련 기록물들은 체계적으로 관리될 필요가 있다. 현재 국가기록원에서는 국가지정기록물로 관리되고 있는 ‘위안부’ 관련 기록물들은 일부에 해당하며 ‘위안부’와 관련하여 다양한 활동을 활발히 하고 있는 민간기관에서 일본군‘위안부’ 관련 기록물들을 다양하게 소장하고 있다. 민간기관의 수도 한 곳이 아닌 여러 곳이며, 각 기관에 소장되어 있는 기록물들은 문서류뿐만 아니라 시청각 기록물류, 박물류로 다양한 유형을 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 각 민간기관의 일본군‘위안부’ 관련 기록물들을 통합적으로 관리하기 위하여 통합 메타데이터 스키마 구축을 제안하였다. 먼저 일본군‘위안부’ 관련 기관 및 단체와 기록물의 유형 및 특징을 조사하고 분석하였다. 또한 여러 기관의 기록물들을 통합하여 새로운 기준으로 분류하고, 기록물의 유형 및 특징을 참고하여 국가표준인 국가기록원의 기록관리 메타데이터 표준을 기반으로 스키마를 제안하였다.

농촌마을의 향토자원 보존형태와 분석 : 강원지역을 중심으로

The purpose of this study is to investigate the native resources that have preserved in the farm villages and to present the ways to make use of the native resources when they set the plans for the rural development. The subject of this study is the native resources of a certain farm village in Gangwon Province and the result of this investigation is as follows. This investigation shows that the village which is rich in natural resources are Jegong village in Gangreung City and Pomae-ri in Yangyang County and also the village which abounds in cultural resources are Jegong village in Gangreung City and Dongchang village in Hongcheon County and also the regions which have abundant recreational resources are Witseongnam in Weonju City and Godunchi village in Hoingseong County. As a result, Jegong village in Gangreung City and Dongchang village in Hongcheon County are superior to other villages in the native resources. Investigation shows that cultural resources and recreational resources are preserved better than natural resources. Especially, village shrines, origin of a village, cooperative events, forests in a village, temples etc. are preserved well comparatively while it needs to keep resources such as valley, a path up a mountain, reservoir. When we develop the local resources in the farm village in Gangwon Province, it is necessary to keep the balance between development and preservation through ways such as park for learning nature, ecology park, forest park, investigation field for traditional culture, culture park, development of recreation program and development of special products using the native resources.
