      • 미디어 아트의 조형성에 대한 심리 효과 : 한국 영화의 3D Animation을 중심으로

        Due to art's secession from the genre and media's unification, even the mass media and technology have become an essential part of a work. The expressive field of art has become expanded more and more by the advent and development of computers, as a means of the media. In consequence of it, the expressive method of art, the formative field of art, and the factors of art have become more comprehensible and various. The expressive way of films using 3D animation which belongs to the computer art among the media arts compared with the traditional art, has been obtaining more immersion effect of the spectators on the films, using the special technique of the recent Computer Graphics. This paper indicates that the formative factor of media art has been emphasized more by using computer animation in Korean films, one of the computer arts in an art field of media art compared with the traditional art, by examining the formative principle and psychological aspect in the films, which are <Theomarok> and <Welcome to Dongmak-gol>. In addition, 3D animation can induce the psychological reaction easily since it helps the free space not restricted by the camera space to be applicable and cause one's interests and widen its expression by turning an visually impossible expression into a possibility.

      • <동시대비>를 이용한 환경디자인의 색채

        색채의 독립, 개별적인 표현은 급속히 확산되었다. 현대적 문화인 생활 예술은 예술과 생활세계 간의 경계를 허물었다. 미셀 위젠느 슈브렐에 의해 발전된 색채학의 기본 원리인 색의 동시대비는 시각 디자인의 수많은 영역에 보급되었으며, 그 중에서도 특히 환경 색채학 분야애 적용되는 사례를 보고자 한다. 화학적 안료와 물리적 색을 분리하면서 지금까지 논의되어온 색의 가법혼합, 염료의 감법혼합의 체계에 그것을 통합시킬 수 있는 슈브렐의 방법론을 제시하고자한다. 인간이 가꿔온 환경은 자연에 인간이 지각할 수 있는 색소 그리고 인공적인 안료의 통합을 통해 이해되어져야 한다. 색의 잔상효과, 색의 동시대비, 톤의 동시대비는 쾌적한 색채 디자인 환경의 원리로 작용할 수 있을 것이다. Color independence and its self-respect spread quite quickly. Artistic living world as modern culture that derived from disappearing of frontier between art domain and living world. Contrast simultaneity of color, the basic principle of chromatics, defined by M. E. Chevreul, has optimized tremendous number of visual design. Especially, I'd like to consider that contrast simultaneity of color has been applied to environmental design. Dividing chemical color pigment and physical lightness, chromatics has been considered as if it must always divide to additive color mixture of light, subtractive color mixture of pigment. I propose an another problematic of color system, Chevreul's theory to this chromatics and color psychology. Color surrounding has to be perceived by synthesis of light, visual pigment and artificial color pigment. Persistence of vision of color, contrast simultaneity of color, and contrast simultaneity of tone would be a practical principle of comfortable color design circumstances.

      • 마을 이미지성 창출을 위한 경관개선 구상 : 정선군 카지노 타운을 대상으로

        The purpose of this study is to identify landscape problems for Gohan and Sabook, casino towns in Jeongseon, and to conceptualize improvement strategies to create desirable village imageability. The study selected viewpoints with great visual quantity or high visibility, took photographs, and mapped spatially landscape problems and solutions. Main landscape problems of the study villages were bared tailings and cut slopes, inharmonious afforestation, old and poor buildings, confused skylines, and messed signboards and utility lines. Poor tree plantings on streets and around buildings, and stream pollution were also deteriorating visual quality of landscapes. Landscape planning of the study villages needs to put an emphasis on creating the imageability based on rurality and mining history. Priority of landscape improvement should be given to remodeling of building appearance, streetscape, and greenspace. Especially, within street viewshed having high visibility, required are building improvement, signboard regulation, native street-tree plantings, and screening plantings of old buildings. The results from this study are expected to be applied as practical information to regional policy formulation to improve the image of the study villages' built landscapes and to attract casino visitors and other tourists.

      • 백두대간 지역의 경관보전 전략

        Backdudaegan is a central ridge in Korea playing the role of backbone. It is characterized by meaningful symbolic landscape related to identity of the nation as well as beautiful mountainous landscape composed of unique landform and diverse vegetation. This study analyzed causes and results of landscape disturbances, and suggested strategies of landscape conservation including reclamation of damaged landscapes for Taeback and Jungsun in Backdudaegan regions. The quality of natural landscape in the study regions was deteriorated by mining and tailings, acid mine drainage and stream pollution, road construction and bare slopes, transmission towers and electric covered with coal dust, and slash-and-burn fields and livestock farming. Suggested strategies and techniques of landscape conservation included protection of landscape types vulnerable to development, reclamation of native forest landscapes, environmental-friendly planning of roads and streams, establishment of roadside miniparks renewing abandoned spaces, and sustainable planning satisfying ecological, economic and social needs together.

      • 고급분재의 대량생산을 위한 분재소재 양성기구의 개발에 관한 연구

        There have been some problems of high labor and low productivity in the existing systems of Bonsai cultivation. This research developed cultivation instruments and techniques solving the present problems and producing Bonsai with high quality within shorter periods. 1) Development of cultivation instruments and production techniques Cultivation instruments were developed to shape stems, branches, and root in a desirable way within one or two year after planting of seedlings. The following 11 instruments were developed : 4 types of stem leaders, 3 types of branch leaders and a branch-support tong, 2 types of root leaders and 2 types of root-leader bases. Of those, 1 utility model and 8 designs have been registered. Production techniques were tested in an experiment station applying the above instruments developed. Eight-thousand tree seedlings of 20 species were planted in the field of about 3,300m2. The seedlings were cultivated for 2 years, transplanted into fixed pots, and then grown toward complete shapes for 1 years. Proper cultivation instruments were used in each production stages considering growth characteristics of the tree species. The result was that the techniques are less labor-intensive, more productive, and practical. Moreover harvesting periods were shortened in the production systems.

      • 傳統家屋의 收藏空間에 關한 硏究 : 江原道文化財 指定家屋을 中心으로

        Traditional houses for the paper have been researched through storage space, an element of a traditional houses, in a different way of the studies which have been mainly researched into mail space of traditional houses. Species, number, size and site of each storage space have been analysed according to the life environment. The number of house for the research is 47, and all the houses have storage space and are the houses registered as cultural properties. The changes of storage space have been also examined, dividing before and after 1800.

      • 환경그래픽에 의한 도시경관 개선 연구

        오늘날 환경그래픽(environmental graphic)은 실내, 외의 환경을 아름답고 쾌적하게 꾸미기 위해, 또는 시각적 커뮤니케이션 기능에 의한 목적 미술로서의 역할을 하고 있다. 그러나 그 필요성만 인식하고 있을 뿐 실행과정에서 표현의 형태, 기법, 경관색채의 기준을 무시하고 있는 경우가 허다하여 문제가 되고 있다. 뿐만 아니라 시행의 주체가 되는 행정관서나 기업체등의 전문성 있는 평가, 심의절차가 제대로 되어있지 않아 또 하나의 도시공해를 야기할 우려가 있다. 환경그래픽은 이미 오래 전부터 유럽이나 미국 등 주로 선진국에서 개발하여 도시 재개발지역, 미관개선 지역에 도입하여 오고 있다. 환경그래픽은 슈퍼그래픽의 의미를 포괄한다. 그러므로 환경 시지각적 관점에서 접근하고 이를 경관색채의 이론과 관련지어 연구함으로서 도시경관을 아름답게 할 수 있는 준거를 찾아볼 수 있을 것이다. 경관색채에 대한 이론은 조사방법이나 설계의 사회과학적인 접근으로서 목적미술의 기능을 수행할 수 있다. 이는 환경그래픽의 대상지역이나 대상물의 색채, 측색방법, 원경과 근경, 4계절의 기후변화, 풍토 등 관련요소의 분석을 통하여 체계화 할 수 있다. 환경그래픽의 표현방법으로서는 대상물의 면적과 그림의 크기대비, 색채대비, 선, 그리고 표현의 컨셉(concept)등을 감안하여 진행되어야 한다. 환경의 시각적 이미지를 형성하는 요인은 몇 가지 사항을 생각할 수 있다. 우선 이미지를 시각화하는 특징, 구조, 의미로 이해할 수 있는 퍼블릭의 개념을 들 수 있다. 또한 커뮤니케이션 수단으로서의 환경그래픽인데 이는 도시미를 통한 경관연출, 표현 컨셉과 연관되는 언어적 역할이라고 할 수 있다. 구성적 의미로서는 컬러코디네이션, 균형적인 구성요서, 통일감, 변화감, 색채와 형태 및 재질감의 동시보완성을 강조할 수 있다. 이러한 시각이미지 형성요소는 공공시설물, 가로구조물, street furniture, 시내버스 등 도시를 형성하는 구조물에 적절히 도입되어 질 때 도시경관이 아름다워 질 수 있다. 이와 같이 환경그래픽은 과학적인 조사방법과 전문성 있는 표현기법으로서 도시 경관을 위한 목적미술로서의 역할을 다할 수 있을 것이다. 환경그래픽은 시행자나 제작자의 자기표현만으로 끝나는 것이 아니라 대중을 상대로 하는 목적미술로서의 역할이 중요하기 때문에 보다 과학적이고 체계적이며 전문적인 시도로서 도시이미지 개선을 위한 도구로 활용될 수 있다. Today environmental graphic play a role as an objective art for the visual communications in terms of function of decorating both indoor and outdoor environment. But there are problems arising from it because usage of the tool is often being made ignoring standards in terms of form, method, and color In addition, the enforcing body such as the administration office or companies does not have specialized evaluation or screening procedures, and this rases a concern that it might cause another municipal pollution. The environmental graphic was developed in advanced countries in Europe and U.S.A. a long time ago and has been used in the areas for redevelopment or view enhancement. The environmental graphic encompasses the super graphic. Therefore the basis for the municipal view enhancement can be found by taking an approach from the environmental/ visual perspective first and finking it with the theory of the scenery color. The scenery color can function as an objective art in terms of its research method and scientific approach to design. It can be made more systematic through an analysis of the related elements such as the color of objects, coloring method, distant/near view, weather changes in four seasons, climate of a region, ect. The environmental graphic can be expressed in terms of the size of the object and the picture, color contrast, line, and concept of the expression itself. The visual image of an environmental is composed of several elements. One of them is the public concept that can be understood as characteristics that visualizes images structure, and meaning. The environmental graphic plays a communications role as an linguistic tool by making the view of the city to people more beautiful. In terms of structure, color coordination, balanced elements, unification feeling, sense of change, supplementary feature such as color, shape and texture and be underlined. The scenery of the city can be made more beautiful when those visual image elements are introduced to the structure that form the city such as public facilities, street structure, street furniture, buses, ect. The environmental graphic can fulfill its function as an objective art when it combines scientific research method and specialized expression method. As a scientific and systematic attempt, the environmental graphic can be used as a tool to enhance the municipal image since it is of great importance in a sense that it is an art directly exposed to the public.

      • 한국 전통정원 공간의 복원 : 대구향교를 대상으로 The Case of Taegu Hyangkyo

        The Korea value system was influenced by Chinese Taoism, Confucianism and Indian Buddhism, and their ideals too root deeply the mind of Koreans who subsequently translated these ideas into their own view of nature. Especially the influence of confucianism which them think that they should adapt to the Province of Nature. Such a philosophy of Life become their spiritual basis and it's the Korean disposition to emulate the cleanliness and purity of nature. Hyangkyo was the principles of six arts and five classics of confucianism, which greatly influenced a life styles and spiritual basis in the Chonsun Dynasty. With the case of Taegu Hyangkyo this study carried out as a korean traditional style which designed to mean a idea of confucianism, especially using the stone symbolically.

      • 水石景觀에 基礎한 華陰洞 精舍의 空間特性

        Jeongsa is a kind of building which is a learning place under the control of teacher for confucianism students, and it's often located at the Gok(曲) landscape which is a scene with appearance in a geographical landscape. The scholars established the Jeongsa to enjoy the beautiful mountain and water. For the purpose of avoiding social confusion neo-confucianists tended to seek the place for a secluded life. This schlor's behavior in Chosun imitated a habit such as the life style of Chu-Tzu(朱子) in Song dynasty, China. This Hwaeumdong Jeongsa as a place of seclusion and self-discipline was built by Soo-Jeung Kim(1624-1701) who was a neo-confucianist and a literary man in Chosun dynasty. He tried to embody confucian's outlook on the universe in his Jeongsa space, which adopted a factor of geographical landscape such as rock and stream. Hwaeumdong Jeongsa seems found to be the meaningful garden with symbolim, which could not easily in discovered the others in Chosun dynasty.

      • 기업의 브랜드이미지 제고를 위한 통합디자인커뮤니케이션 전략

        Integrated Design Communication Strategy to Strengthen Brand Image In today's society characterized by a plethora of information, accuracy and speed of information transmission have become prerequisites for all successful communication. Accordingly, product and business brands, being strategic marketing communication tools, are becoming the object of growing attention on the part of an industry in search of more effective designs. More and more companies brand the company ID and many of them no longer distinguish company ID from their product or business brands. Adopting a single-brand strategy offers the advantage of making brand management easier and more effective. As a matter of fact, in today's business world, where company branding and management philosophy branding have become a crucial element of corporate operation, branding has ceased to be what it once was, and is now an integral part of management strategy. Many foreign companies provide excellent examples of design integration where visual images chosen to represent the company are ideally matched to and evocative of company name for clear and easy recognition. In comparison, most Korean company IDs and brands constitute examples of poor application of integrated design communication. The present study conducts a comparative analysis of realizations of integrated design communication as found in different domestic companies, and subsequently proposes a model of improved application of integrated design communication, using Namyang Aloe as a sample case. The example proposed by this study can significantly benefit Korean companies for achieving more fully integrated design communication to create distinctive and well-defined corporate images, which are critical for company value growth.
