        공간정보를 이용한 뇌 자기공명영상 분류

        The medical information system is an effective medical diagnosis assistance system which offers an environment in which medial images and diagnosis information can be shared. However, this system can only stored and transmitted information without other functions. To resolve this problem and to enhance the efficiency of diagnostic activities, a medical image classification and retrieval system is necessary. The medical image classification and retrieval system can improve efficiency in a medical diagnosis by providing disease-related images and can be useful in various medical practices by checking diverse cases. However, it is difficult to understand the meanings contained in images because the existing image classification and retrieval system has handled superficial information only. Therefore, a medical image classification system which can classify medical images by analyzing the relation among the elements of the image as well as the superficial information has been required. In this paper, we propose the method for learning and classification of brain MRI, in which the superficial information as well as the spatial information extracted from images are used. The superficial information of images, which is color, shape, etc., is called low-level image information and the logical information of the image is called high-level image information. In extracting both low-level and high-level image information in this paper, the anatomical names and structure of the brain have been used. The low-level information is used to give an anatomical name in brain images and the high-level image information is extracted by analyzing the relation among the anatomical parts. Each information is used in learning and classification. In an experiment, the MRI of the brain including disease have been used.

        학습관리시스템을 위한 사례 기반 응집도를 이용한 학습객체 자동 분류

        본 논문에서는 학습 콘텐츠의 효과적인 관리와 재사용을 위한 학습객체 자동 분류 기법을 제안한다. 제안한 기법은 학습객체들의 발생 사례를 이용하여 학습객체들의 응집도를 생성하고, 응집도를 기반으로 학습객체들의 연관성을 측정하여 학습객체들의 자동 분류를 수행한다. 제안한 기법을 학습관리시스템에 적용하면 학습 콘텐츠의 개발 비용을 절감시킬 수 있는 장점이 있다. 시뮬레이션에서 확률 기반 기법의 평균 정확도는 28.20%로 나타났고, 응집도 기반 기법의 평균 정확도는 56.38%로 나타났다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 본 논문에서 제안한 기법이 학습객체 자동 분류에 효과적이라는 것을 확인하였다. In this paper, a method for automatic classification of learning objects is proposed for effective management and reuse of learning contents. Proposed method will create cohesion of learning objects using cases of learning objects and perform automatic classification of learning objects by measuring their relationship based on cohesion. Application of proposed method to learning management system has the advantage of reducing the costs for developing learning contents. Simulation has shown the average accuracy of 28.20% with probability-based method and 56.38% with cohesion-based method. Simulation has proved that the method proposed in this paper is effective in automatic classification of learning objects.

        기면병과 렘수면행동장애에서의 렘수면 뇌파 스펙트럼 분석

        목 적 : 기면병과 렘수면 행동장애(RBD)에서 모두 신경 퇴행적 과정이 존재할 가능성과 함께 두 질환의 증상 사이에 공통점이 있다는 제안이 많이 있었다. 이 연구는 두 렘수면 관련 질환에서 스펙트럼 분석방법을 적용하여 렘수면 뇌파의 미세 차이에 관해 살펴 보고자 하였다. 방 법 : 기면병과 RBD 각 군에서 9명씩 성비를 맞추어 분석 대상자를 선정하였다. 각각의 분석대상자의 세 개의 렘수면 주기에서 각각 연속된 세 수면단위를 골라 한 사람당 9개의 수면단위에 대해 스펙트럼 분석을 실시하였다. 결 과 : 델타파 영역에서는 그 비율이 기면병군에서 RBD군보다 유의하게 높았다(p<0.01). 알파파(p=0.02)와 베타 2영역($20{\sim}50\;Hz$)에서는 RBD군에서 기면병보다 비율이 유의하게 높았다(p<0.01). 서파수면은 기면병에서 많았으나 양군간에 렘수면 분율의 차이는 없었다(p=0.93). 결 론 : 기면병의 렘수면에서 RBD에 비해 델타파의 비율이 높은 양상은 수면촉진기전이 기면병에서 좀 더 우세하게 작용하는 것을 반영하는 것이다. Introduction: It has been proposed that narcolepsy and REM sleep behavior disorder (RBD) have overlapped symptom profile and pathophysiology. This study was aimed at measuring and comparing changes in EEG frequency band of REM sleep in narcolepsy and RBD, applying EEG spectral analysis method. Methods: Nine patients diagnosed as narcolepsy and the same number of RBD patients were studied. Spectral analysis of the REM sleep EEG was performed in each patient on 9 epochs selected evenly from the first, second, and third REM periods. Then, we compared frequency band percentages of REM sleep EEG in narcolepsy and RBD. Results: Narcolepsy patients had significantly higher delta frequency ratio than RBD ones (p=0.00). In alpha and beta2 frequency bands, RBD patients showed higher percentage than narcolepsy ones. Slow wave sleep was more prevalent in narcolepsy patients. But, no difference of REM sleep percentage was found between the two groups (p=0.93). Conclusion: Higher delta frequency ratio in REM sleep of narcolepsy patients than RBD ones reflects that sleep-promoting mechanism is more dominant in narcolepsy than in RBD.

        Isothermal Age-hardening Behavior in the Commercial Dental Au-Ag-Cu-Pd Alloy

        The relationship between the isothermal age-hardening behavior and the phase transformation in the commercial dental Au-Ag-Cu-Pd alloy was investigated Age-hardening was mostly attributed to the lattice distortions of the supersaturated w phase resulting from the transformation to the metastable phasel which were more distinct at lower aging temperature. The lattice distortions resulting from the transformation of the metastable phases to the equilibrium phases also made a contribution to the age-hardening.

        상용화된 EVOH/SMA 블렌드의 결정화 거동에 관한 연구

        ethylene-vinyl alcohol(EVOH) 공중합체와 styrene-maleic anhydride(SMA) 공중합체를 포함하는 일련의 블렌드계에서 상용화 정도가 결정성 고분자 분산상의 결정화 거동에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 블렌드의 결정화거동과 morphology는 각각 시차열량분석기(DSC) 및 주사전자현미경(SEM)을 사용하여 확인하였다. 상용화 정도에 따라 분산상의 결정화 중 일부분이 저온 영역으로 크게 이동하여 나타났다 상용화 블렌드계에서 나타나는 이러한 결정화온도의 이동은 분산상의 homogeneous crystallization에 기인한 것이었다. A series of blends containing ethylene-vinyl alcohol(EVOH) and styrene-maleic anhydride(SMA) copolymers has been produced to study the effect of compatibilization on the crystallization behavior of the dispersed semicrystalline component. The crystallization behavior and the morphology of the blends have been characterized by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM), respectively. Depending on the compatibilization, a part of crystallization of the dispersed phase took place with greater undercooking. Homogeneous crystallization was responsible for the shift of crystallization temperature for those compatibilized blends.

        Capsaicin과 HCA 혼합섭취가 운동 중 에너지 기질 이용에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of capsaicin and hydroxycitrate (HCA) ingestion on lipid metabolism during exercise in rats. Twenty-eight male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly assigned 4 groups (CON: control, HCA: HCA supplementation, CAP: capsaicin supplementation, MIX: HCA plus capsaicin supplementation). All rats that have exercise trained and the diet supplemented in each group for 4 weeks. Blood glucose, lactate, FFA were analyzed as the blood energy substrates and liver and muscle glycogen were analyzed. Blood glucose concentration were significantly increased in the HCA and CAP (p<.05). FFA concentration were significantly decreased in the CAP and MIX (p<.05). Glycogen contents were significantly increased MIX (p<.05). These results suggested that 4 weeks ingestion of capsaicin and HCA promotes lipid oxidation and spares carbohydrate utilization in rat during exercise.
